" I know of this Cyrus Block..........He plays at being a legitimate businessman........Yet he controls one of the largest criminal operations in the city. " Tristan spoke. " Block isn't likely to just give Tabitha up........He's a man who enjoys power.......And often uses people with power in his operation. " Tristan added. He also knew about the life of criminals. His father is Anton Rayne after all. Both Tristan & Adam knew it could be very difficult breaking Tabitha of her bad habits. If she wanted to break that part of her life at all. " If she is freed.........What then?......What do we do with her?.......If left alone......She would steal to survive.......She would have no choice.......It's apart of her life. " Adam added while looking around at his family. " Adam........How can we call ourselves heroes and let that girl live a life in slavery? " Tina replied. Her words made Eric look over at Alexandria. Because of her feline background. Eric always let Alexandria take the lead in matters of the family. Her pride was so very important to Alexandria.
 
Alexandria finished speaking and she glanced at Adam when he asked about Tabitha being the girl who had tried to steal the family jewels and she chuckled before nodding. "Indeed she was. She would of gotten away with it if she had been in any other household." she told him. She knew that Adam would be able to identify with the young woman, just as Alexandria had been able to because they had both lived the criminal life. It had taken some serious patience and time, but Alexandria and the family had been able to break Adam of most of his bad habits. He was in school and Alexandria was quite proud of how well he was doing. There was even talk of him going to college as well. However, James had to continue removing the silver set from Adams room for a while after Adam had first joined the family. At one point, Alexandria jokingly said to Eric she was beginning to think Adam just did it now to keep James on his toes.

Tristan spoke up about knowing of Cyrus Block and she nodded in agreement as he spoke of how Block wasn't likely to just give Tabitha up. "Indeed. It just means we have to figure out a way to get him to either willingly give her up or force him to give her up." she said. Tristan would also understand. He was the son of Anton Rayne. And like his brother, Adam, he knew it could be difficult breaking Tabitha from her bad habits. Adam asked what they would do with the girl if they did free her and he said that she would steal to survive. Tina in turn challenged Adams words, by asking how they could call themselves heroes and let the girl live a life of slavery.

Seeing Eric looking at her, Alexandria placed her elbows on the table and rested her chin on the back of her hand for a moment before she spoke up. "We would help her adjust." she told the family. "We would not free her and then just toss her to the wolves." She looked at her family members one at a time. She even looked at the other end of the table where Angel was sitting quietly, the beautiful winged woman sending a soothing smile in her direction. "We will give her a second chance to have a life, just as you and Tina were offered a second chance." she told Adam. "That's if she wants the change in her life."
 
The subject of Tabitha Stevens, had become a major point of debate around the dinner table. Both Tristan & Adam were unsure about freeing her. What their mother had said about giving her a second chance, made sense. Tristan wasn't related to Eric, yet he was accepted and treated like a son by Eric. Tina was given a new home and a chance at a better life after her family was murdered by Jester. Adam was given a new home as well. On his Earth, his life was very hard. He was a thief, at a young age. The Reed family on that Earth was nothing like the family here. Adam was allowed to stay and do something with his life. Something other then steal for a living. He'd come a long way since joining the family. Despite Alexandria's good words. Tristan & Adam still weren't sure about Tabitha. Alexandria never spoke of how she would keep an eye on the girl. Keeping her in the city wouldn't work. She could leave the penthouse apartment or Alexandria's private apartment, anytime she wanted. If she was brought to the manor. She would have to be told of the family secret. If she was going to fight along side of them.

The boys didn't say anymore about Tabitha. There was no reason, not until she was freed. The only one who fully supported freeing Tabitha, was Tina. It was clear where she stood. Eric spoke of also believing Tabitha should be free. He even spoke of having an idea on how they could do it. " Alexandria and I will have to become criminals.......Make a few hits and get Mr. Block's attention. " Eric's words brought confused looks to many around the table. Since the conversation about Tabitha started. Eric had been thinking of ways to free her. None really seemed like a good idea. However, when Alexandria spoke of making Block willingly or forcing him to give Tabitha up. Eric was struck with a plan. This plan could work either way. And all they would need, is a change of costumes to wear at night time. When questioned about his idea. Eric said he would explain everything down on the cave, after dinner was over.
 
Alexandria returned to her dinner while her family spoke about Tabitha Stevens. There were different feelings about the young woman floating around the table. She understood Tina's feelings about wanting to free her from the life she was currently trapped in and at the same time, she understood her sons feelings about the girl. What was to say Tabitha wouldn't turn to a life of crime once she was freed? And if they did free her, what would happen to her? If they brought her into their home, she would have to be told of the family secret if she was going to fight along side them. Eric then spoke up about freeing Tabitha and of having an idea of how they could do it.

His idea caused Alexandria to look up from her food quickly, shock showing on her face when he said that they would have to become criminals. To make a few hits and get Mr. Block's attention. Alexandria remained quiet about her feelings of this new idea. Instead, the others questioned it and Eric said that he would explain everything down in the cave after dinner and Alexandria agreed. "Indeed." she softly said while taking a drink of her tea that sat at her place. She normally would of had wine with her dinner, but with her current condition, she switched to just tea and juice for her beverages when she wasn't drinking water. With that, Alexandria changed the topic of conversation while they ate, asking Tina about how school was going and then asking Adam about whether or not he'd been looking at colleges.

It was known by the whole family that Alexandria wanted her children to be successful in whatever they chose to do in life and she wanted them to go to college. They also knew that they would always have her support no matter what. Finishing her own dinner, Alexandria pushed her empty plate aside while she enjoyed her tea and she watched Angel several seats away feeding the youngest member of the family. Alexandria smiled to herself. Her son was getting so big and it pleased her to see how happy and healthy he was. However, it reminded her of how much she had missed out with Tristan though. She had been with him for a short time in his life before she'd broken free and fled from his father, but only after her memories of her son had been locked away.
 
Tina was already in her second year of attending New York City University. She was majoring in business. It was planned, she would join Reed Enterprises once she had her degree. Eric got his business degree when he was 17 years old. Most young men that age have no idea what to do with themselves. Eric never had that problem. He held PhD's in science, mechanical engineering, robotics, electrical engineering, physics, mathematics, chemistry and computers, all by the age of 24. Normally, it would take anyone else many years to achieve such knowledge. However, Eric was a true genius in every sense of the word. He even taught himself biology and literature in his spare time. Tina wasn't trying to match her father, but she would have a masters degree in business when she was finished. Adam still hadn't decided what he wanted to do. But, he wanted to attend New York City University like Tina was doing.

Once supper was over, Eric, Alexandria, Tristan, Tina and Adam went down to the cave. Image was already down there when the others arrived. Eric's comment about him and Alexandria becoming criminals, took everyone by surprise. No one had expected Eric to say such a thing so calmly. They just didn't know his plan, but soon would. Eric gathered everyone together. He said, if he and Alexandria tried to free Tabitha as heroes. Cyrus Block would fight back using super powered villains. That could cause innocent people to get hurt. Eric also said it would bring the government down on them sooner, rather then later. " We would end up fighting Block and the government at the same time.......I'd rather take one enemy on at a time. " Eric spoke. He then pointed at a line of glass cases along the cave wall. " I think it will be easier if Alexandria and I become the Green Hornet and Kato. " The glass cases which Eric pointed at held the costumes of Britt Reed, his grandfather, known in the criminal underworld as the Green Hornet, as well as the costume for Kato and Thomas Reed's original Raven costume. Eric walked over to the glass case, opened it, reached in and pulled out the green fedora hat his grandfather once wore. Placing it on his head, Eric turned to face his family.

Tristan, Tina and Adam all spoke of the plan being dangerous. But, they each understood Eric wish to keep the public from harm and the government out of things. The family would have enough trouble with the government in the near future. It was well known that Cyrus Block was a wealthy man. He could draw on his wealth to buy extra powerful muscle when needed. Block played at being a legitimate businessman. However, he was nothing more then a crime lord. Eric said, he and Alexandria would make hits on smaller crime bosses. Just to spread some fear around the underworld. They would then get Block's attention. " It's time for the Green Hornet to ride again. " Eric spoke. Image was sitting at the computer, reading a file on the Green Hornet's history.
 
Alexandria was very proud of her children. When it came to their schooling, she took a very active role in helping them and keeping an eye on their grades. She wasn't obsessive of their grades, but she did want them to do well. She was also very proud of what Eric had done with himself when it came to school. Many might be intimidated by the number of degrees that he held and by his intellect, but Alexandria wasn't. She was proud and she knew that both his uncle and his parents would be proud as well. Since joining the Reed family as Alexandria Reed, she had attended school. She was nowhere near as smart as Eric, but she did excel in her own way. She had a degree for mathematics and one for history. The one for history wasn't surprising considering how long she's lived so far. She was even now taking classes in her free time because she wanted to do more when it came to history.

After supper was over, the family head down to the cave while Angel took Richard upstairs to the nursery to read to him and play with the toddler. Down in the cave, Eric gathered them all together and began to explain why he came up with his idea. As he explained that if they went for Tabitha as heroes, Cyrus Block would only attack back with other super powered villians. This would in turn bring the government down on them harder. Alexandria nodded and agreed with this. "He is correct. Things would get much uglier, much faster, if we did this." she said before looking over at the glass cases along the wall where costumes were displayed. She watched him move over to them and he opened the one that contained the old Green Hornet costume and he removed the greed fedora hat from within.

Alexandria moved over to where he stood and she watched him place it upon his head and she tilted her head while looking at him. Their children commented about it being dangerous and she looked at them. "Our lives are dangerous as it is already." she gently reminded them. Looking back at Eric again, she reached up and adjusted the fedora slightly before nodding after he said it was time for the Green Hornet to ride again. "Very well, we shall do this." she agreed finally.
 
Alexandria was right. Their lives were already dangerous. Danger was apart of everyday life when one became a superhero. Threats could come from anywhere. Eric's plan would move forward since Alexandria gave her okay. She would become the new Kato. Bodyguard, driver and muscle for the Green Hornet. Eric said to keep the criminals off guard, Alexandria should do a female version. The bio-weave clothing Eric invented for Alexandria to wear when she shifted her forms, would mimic with ease the chauffeurs outfit she needed. All she would need to take was the mask and black hat. Along with the hidden weapons she would carry. Alexandria couldn't use her powers during this mission. Not openly as she would normally do. She would have to appear as an Asian woman dressed in all black. Eric spoke of the types of weapons Alexandria would use. Kato carried throwing darts, hidden with his clothing. These darts came in different types. A normal dart with a sharp point, tear gas darts, flash/bang darts, smoke darts and explosive darts. Alexandria would also have a pair of nunchakus hidden inside her coat. Eric would be using the gas gun and the hornet sting. The hornet sting was a sonic weapon. It could be set for several uses. The weapon could knock someone down, or it could blow a hole in light armor. Alexandria would be driving Black Beauty. The car was original. Eric kept it in great running condition. Black Beauty was armed with a large gas gun in the front, forwards & rear firing rockets, plus it had a drone which came from the trunk. This drone could be used for tracking, or checking an area out. Eric updated the drone so it could fire smoke bombs, explosive charges and flash bangs.

Eric laid out how the plan would begin. He and Alexandria would rough up some of the hired thugs working for the smaller bosses. These men would spread the word, the Green Hornet was back and looking for a piece of the action. The criminal underworld always thought the Green Hornet was a crime boss. If you didn't play ball with him. He would shut you down. This is how Britt Reed worked to clean the streets of New York up. By becoming a crime boss, then destroying the other crime bosses from the inside. The goal Eric & Alexandria had was different. They just wanted to get the attention of Cyrus Block and get him to free Tabitha. Eric doubted it would be easy for them to free Tabitha. So, they may have to use force. Eric had Image come with a nasty computer virus which could be used against Block. This virus would wipe all the evidence Block had on the young woman. No matter where the evidence was. It would also lock up every other file and make them useless. Image made the virus so it couldn't be broken. Once files were locked, only Image could free them, and that wasn't going to happen.

Image would monitor Eric & Alexandria while they were on the streets. They would use their private communicators as normal. Tristan, Tina and Adam would act as backup in case things got out of control. Tina brought up the subject of the street heroes, and whether they should be told of the plan. Eric decided against telling anyone outside the manor. He wanted everyone to believe the Green Hornet was real. Eric & Alexandria would just have to be careful if they encountered any of their friends. Black Beauty was brought out from the work area Eric had inside the cave. There was a ramp which led down and out of the cave. There was an old service road below the manor grounds, but still apart of the property. The service road led out to the coast highway running along the Reed property line. This is how Black Beauty would leave and enter the cave. Eric changed into the green overcoat, green mask and hat. Alexandria's change was easier, but she still needed to put on the hat and mask. She also needed to grab the weapons she wished to take. Eric loaded the gas gun, then checked the hornet sting. " Let's roll. " Eric said once Alexandria was ready. They jumped into Black Beauty, then pulled out and down the ramp. The car appeared from an opening on the service road. Alexandria was behind the wheel, looking very sexy in her current form.
 
Once Alexandria had given her okay for them to become the Green Hornet and Kato, Eric told her that she should do a female version of Kato and she agreed before he told her about the weapons that she would be using as Kato. She wouldn't be able to use her powers openly, so she would have to return to just using her fighting skills and her strength. It would take a little getting used to since she was so used to using her powers, but she had spent a majority of her life without her powers, so she could return to it fairly easily. As Eric began to go over the plan of how they would begin, Alexandria opened the case with Kato's old outfit and she removed the mask and hat before returning to his side.

She listened as he told them about how they would rough up some hired thugs who were working for smaller bosses. This would get their attention and in turn, word would spread that the Green Hornet was back and looking for a piece of the action. Alexandria knew plenty about the Green Hornet, Eric's uncle having taught her about him back when they had been together. While she listened to Eric, Alexandria also contemplated what form she would take before she finally shifted. She became a slender Asian woman. She was a little taller then average with a toned curvy body and like most of her other forms. She was attractive with a pretty face, short dark hair in a pixie cut, almond shaped light brown eyes and full pink lips.

When Tina brought up the subject of the street heroes and if they should be told of this plan, Eric said no and that they would just have to be careful should they encounter any of their friends. Eric then brought Black Beauty out of the work area that Eric had in the cave and Alexandria walked around the car while looking at it. Finally, Alexandria and Eric changed their clothes. While Eric was putting on his new outfit, Alexandria focused on her clothing and it shifted into a pair of fitted black pants and fitted black chauffeurs coat over a black shirt with a pair of low heeled black boots. She put on the mask and topped her outfit off with the hat as well as a pair of black gloves. She looked like a chauffeur, but a sexy one. Once she had grabbed the weapons she wanted and had them on her person and Eric had both loaded the gas guna nd checked the hornet sting, they were ready to go. She nodded once and they both got into the car with her behind the wheel and she drove out and down the ramp, the car appearing onto the service road and she guided it towards the city.
 
Once Black Beauty left the cave. Image brought up a map of the area on the computer screen. A red blinking dot appeared, moving quickly away from the cave. This dot was Black Beauty. Image could track Eric & Alexandria, keeping an eye for them. Tristan, Tina & Adam gathered around Image as he worked the computer. The dot left the service road, turning onto the coast highway. He spoke of Black Beauty's speed approach 80 miles an hour. Obviously, Alexandria was opening the car up, so she could see what it could do. She was driving the car and needed to know how it handled before they had to escape from someone. Black Beauty was faster then any other car on the roads. Only races cars could match Black Beauty's speed, but they weren't street legal. Eric remarked how different this was. He and Alexandria were heading into the city, but they were going in by car. This only happened when they were heading for work at Reed Enterprises or the Reed Family Foundations. When they went in for their night work. Eric & Alexandria were dressed differently.

Eric told Alexandria there first target was a drug operation run by Tony Paris. The operation was taking place out of a ice cream factory. Eric said he recently came upon this information and had planned on letting Street Devil take care of the place. However, since he and Alexandria were becoming Green Hornet & Kato for a while. They could shut the place down themselves. Eric told Alexandria where the factory was. A hit like this would get the attention of Tony Paris. And it would be just the type of hit, one criminal would do to another criminal. The factory Paris owned, delivered ice cream around in trucks. To local neighborhoods. It seemed like a reminder of days gone by. When ice creams would bring treats to the waiting children. However, Paris was delivering drugs along with his ice cream. It would be a pleasure ending this business venture for Mr. Paris.
