Gateway had followed the others into the office, but she stood back. Letting them do what was needed. Image moved away as Angel came forward. The pretty blonde woman soon sat down, taking Eric's hand, and starting her work in healing his wound. Image studied the bullet and he knew just how lucky his father had been. This was no ordinary bullet. It was specially made to kill on contact. Bishop watched in silence as the pretty winged woman did what she came here to do. He didn't know who she was, and it wasn't his place to know anymore. Bishop worked for Alexandria & Eric these days. But, what he saw was amazing. The woman looked like what an angel should look like, and she certainly had powers which seemed angelic. As Angel finished her work and said Eric would soon wake. Bishop was drawn away by a voice over his earpiece. The voice was telling him that Stargirl had arrived and was now confronting Kill Shot.

Bishop turned back towards the couch. Alexandria had moved there and kissed Angel's forehead. Bishop then cleared his throat, loud enough to catch Alexandria's attention. " Alexandria...........Kill Shot is still acrossed the street...........Two of our security guards are down but one had reported that Stargirl is over there..........And she looks pissed. " Bishop wasn't sure what Alexandria would do about Stargirl, but he knew she needed to know. Acrossed the street. Kill Shot was firing at the hero, while moving backwards. Nothing he had could harm her. Kill Shot dropped his empty pistols and started throwing punches and kicks at her. It was like hitting a tank. Blows that would normally have taken normal people down, didn't even bother the super powered girl. Stargirl just glared at the man who shot her father. In her eyes was a look of pain, hurt and anger. She didn't know whether her father was alive or dead, but she wanted to kill the man who dared to shot Eric Reed. Stargirl swatted Kill Shot with the back of her hand. The blow wasn't even close to her most powerful, but it was enough to take Kill Shot off his feet and damn near knocked him off the building. It was a long drop to the street below. Kill Shot thought he'd been hit by a speeding car. The blow hurt that much. He assumed his jaw was broken, and there was a good chance it was.
 
Alexandria was pleased with Angel and that made Angel happy as she sat there merely holding Erics hand now, waiting for him to wake up. When Bishop cleared his throat and spoke of Kill Shot still being across the street, she looked at him while listening. When he said that Stargirl was over there confronting Kill Shot, she moved away from Angel and walked over to the window of the office that looked in the direction that the fighting was going on as Bishop commented on Stargirl being pissed. "Looks pissed? She most likely is beyond pissed." Alexandria murmured to herself before looking over her shoulder at him. "She won't kill him." she told Bishop calmly and then glanced out the window again in the direction that the action was going on.

After a moment she contacted Stargirl over their ear piece. "Okay Stargirl. Take him down but don't kill him. I repeat. Do NOT kill him. We need him back alive and relatively uninjured. For information of course." she said firmly over their communicator. "Eric is alive and already healed. Angel said that he should be waking soon." That Alexandria had the ability to contact Stargirl herself shouldn't be surprising. Many believed that the Reeds were somehow connected to several of the cities heroes. Most of it were rumors of course. But the number of times that the Reeds were aided by the heroes was something that they couldn't argue against. "Hand Kill Shot over to authorities and then take the injured to get some help for their wounds."

Cutting communication with her daughter, Alexandria moved over to where Bishop was and thanked him for his quick action in aiding Eric. "If he had died... I can guarantee things would of gotten extremely ugly." she said seriously while glancing at her brother. "He means a great deal to a lot of people."
 
Stargirl was going to take this man's life. She wasn't sure just how it would happen. Stargirl thought he should suffer for his actions. So she thought of breaking every bone in his body until he died, or she could toss him off the building and let him drop to his death. Though the second idea did seem rather quick. Stargirl then thought of taking him up into the sky. Going so high that his lungs would start to freeze. The air was super thin up there, and he would suffer greatly from the cold and lack of oxygen. Stargirl was torn between breaking his bones and making him suffocate. As Stargirl approached the fallen man. She could hear someone else was now on the roof, behind her. But she didn't care enough to turn around and see who this was. Her mind was on revenge. Stargirl reached down, and grabbed Kill Shot. She lifted him off the roof with ease. Stargirl was then ready to take off and began the punishment this man deserved.

Stargirl then suddenly heard Alexandria over her earpiece. She shot a dirty look at Alexandria as she was told not to kill this man. Alexandria said the man needed to be turned over. Stargirl didn't do anything. She could see Alexandria standing in Eric's office and despite hearing that her father was alive and would recover soon. Stargirl still glared at her mother. Tina was tired of playing games with those who did whatever they wanted. She was the most powerful, or one of the most powerful people on this world. Stargirl could do anything she wanted and few could do anything to stop her. Alexandria cut off communications without letting Tina replay. Most likely because Alexandria expected her daughter to make some kind of protest. Stargirl continued to glare at the Reed Enterprises Building. She tossed Kill Shot aside, tossing him towards the other people on the roof. These men turned out to be more security from Reed Enterprises. Stargirl then picked up the two injured men. She took off into the air, carrying the men under her arms. They would be taken to the nearest hospital and Stargirl would go somewhere to cool off. In the office. Eric finally opened his eyes. He looked around seeing Angel, Bishop, Alexandria, Image and finally Gateway. " What happened? " Eric asked while looking around. The last thing he remembered, was being outside and people cheering for him. Then the lights suddenly went out.
 
Standing before the window in Erics office, Alexandria looked across to where Stargirl was upon the roof for a long moment after cutting communications with her daughter. She had seen the dirty look that Stargirl had sent her way but Alexandria was unfazed by it. Stargirl wouldn't understand right this moment, but Alexandria telling her to stand down was for her own good. If Stargirl had been allowed to kill the man as she wished to, Alexandria knew that it would be a step towards what she herself had once been and she didn't want her to move in that direction. With a soft sigh, Alexandria had turned from the window and moved away, her soft footsteps taking her towards where her brother and lover lay, the woman standing not far from the couch where he lay. When Eric finally began to come around, Alexandria heard the change in his heartbeat and she watched as his eyes began to open, the man looking around his office and seeing them.

Seeing Eric wake, Angel lifted her head and smiled gently at him as he asked what had happened before glancing up at Alexandria as the dark haired Reed moved forward and carefully sat on the edge of the couch, her hand gently slipping into Erics and holding it. "You were shot." she softly told him. "You had been targeted by a gun for hire who goes by the name of Killshot. He is notoriously known for always hitting his mark." She became silent as she looked down at their hands and slowly traced the lines of his palm with her fingertips. "However, he was denied his kill today. With the aid of Image and Angel, the bullet was removed and you were healed, while Stargirl has apprehended him."

Angel reached out and touched Eric's shirt where the bullet had entered, her finger tracing the edge of the hole. "There might be a small scar when its done healing completely." Angel murmured. "But it'll be barely noticeable." Her gaze moved up to his face and she let her hand lay lightly over his chest. "We were all worried and we are very relieved that you are okay." To those watching, it was obvious that Angel was familiar with Eric. The way she spoke to him and touched him were in the manner of more then just acquaintances or mutual friends, though it wasn't clear just how close the two really were.
