League of Heroes........Guardians of Earth (Darkkitten9389 & CrimsonMaster)

Stargirl was still hovering about the city. Listening as Scarlet Cat spoke of having a visual on Ring Master. She was leading this band of circus crooks. Scarlet Cat had seen most of the gang. The only one missing was the fake Jester. There was no sign of him with the other members of the gang. Scarlet Cat described each of the other members she could see. The two other clowns, the twins, the man wearing the helmet and the man carrying the sword. Raven moved from the rear of the bank, to a place where he could look down on the alley. He could now see most of the gang as they stood with Ring Master. She seemed to be going over the plan. Raven asked if Cat had seen the fake Jester anywhere? The hero had scanned the truck and no one was left inside. This meant that Jester either stayed behind, or he was lurking around somewhere. In the alley below, the gang was moving along with their plan.

Where the gang was positioned in the alley. They would be breaking directly into the vault where the gold coins were kept. The gang planned on doing this robbery like they did their other jobs. Smash and grab. Ring Master directed Cannonball acrossed the alley. He wa going to crash through the outside wall. " Okay Cat........Let's get their attention..........Stargirl you stay high until we need you. " Raven spoke over the communicator. He rose up the edge of the bank building. Raven's wings snapped open from his back. Just then one of the twins looked up into the nighttime sky. " We've got trouble! " The man exclaimed. The figure of Raven could be seen, even against the night sky. There was enough light coming from the street to give his form an eerie look. As it turned out. The heroes weren't the only ones hiding in the shadows. A sinister laugh started low, but grew louder. This laugh was coming from behind Scarlet Cat. Further down the alley she stood at the end of. A figure was soon seen moving slowly towards her. The laughing grew louder and louder. It was some device, like a laughing machine. Becoming more maniacal sounding as the grinning fake Jester revealed himself. " My friends and I assumed you heroes would be showing up to spoil our party sooner or later...........Ring Master had hoped you'd get disracted by something else.......Give us one more big score before we left town........I'd thought you and your bird man would show up tonight..........So we planned something special for you both. " The fake Jester spoke as he slowly walked towards Scarlet Cat. He had the eyes of a crazy man, but he wasn't as mad as the real Jester. This man was just playing at being as insane as the real criminal clown.
 
Scarlet Cat heard Raven ask if she'd seen the fake Jester anywhere and she told him no. She'd not seen any sign of him nor has she heard him. Raven then spoke about getting their attention and he told Stargirl to stay high until needed. He then made himself known by rising up upon the edge of the bank building, opening his wings just as one of the twins looked up and spotted him, alerting the others of Ravens arrival. Before Scarlet Cat could step out of the shadows, however, she heard something from behind her in the shadows. It started low, but then gradually got louder. It was laughter and it put the shifter on edge as it filled the alley. Turning around, she saw movement in the shadows moments before a figure began to move towards her. Growling faintly, Scarlet Cat's body tensed as this figure moved towards her. She was forced to tune down her hearing devices as the laughing device the man was carrying got louder.

Finally she could see the fake Jester and she bared her teeth slightly with a growl as he began to speak to her. He spoke of how Ring Master had hoped the duo would of gotten distracted by something else but he thought that she and Raven would show up. So something special was planned for them. As she looked at the fake Jester, she could see how he was trying to emulate the real criminal clown. But he didn't have that edge that the real Jester had and seeing this made her snort as she stepped back from the fake Jester. "Mm, can't say that I like surprises." she said calmly, watching the man before her. "I have to say though, that you make a poor Jester impersonator." She flashed him a small smirk as she watched him, her eyes flashing in the dim light of the alley. She quickly relayed to the others that the clown had finally made an appearance.
 
After hearing Scarlet Cat speak of having found the fake Jester. Raven took a moment to look down the alley. He couldn't see the false clown yet, but he picked up the figure on his scans. Raven then switched to his night vision and the fake Jester came into view. Scarlet Cat had this men pegged right. He was clearly impersonating Jester. His smile was as fake as the white paint he used to cover his exposed skin. The real Jester had a truly wicked smile. And there was nothing fake about him. His skin was bleached white from the accident which created him. Scarlet Cat had seen him naked and knew every inch of his skin was pure white. Like the true skin of shifters. Raven turned his attention back to the criminals below. He suddenly realized that the twins were missing. Raven became aware that someone else was now on the roof. He turned as the twins started their attack.

The fake Jester scowled when Scarlet Cat called him an impersonator. " NO! " Fake Jester screamed out. " I'M THE REAL ONE!........THE ONLY ONE!.......YOU'VE BEEN FOOLED BY THE IMPOSTOR! " Fake Jester screamed out while pointing a finger at Scarlet Cat. However, she knew who was who. Scarlet Cat had encountered the real Jester more then once. She was even the lover of the real Jester for a time in her past. Though she wouldn't realize this until later, as the evening played out. Once she found the key piece to the puzzle. Twisty & Clown Hammer left the alley, crossing over to stand in the middle of the street. They had Scarlet Cat between them and the fake Jester. " Now you have gone and upset me!............Compairing me to that amateur!.........Innocent people are going to die because of your filthy mouth! " Fake Jester added. He might not be the real Jester, but he was clearly out of his mind. Twisty looked down the street and found a ripe target. Just down from the bank was a nightclub with people waiting outside to get in. The sidewalk was full of innocent people who had no idea what was going on a block down the street. A yellow cab came around the corner, down the other way. Clown Hammer smiled at the sight. The cab approached the two clowns standing in the middle of the street.
 
As she spoke to this fake Jester, Scarlet Cat studied him. She could see how the paint laid against his skin where as the true Jesters skin itself was completely bleached white and this mans smile couldn't hold a candle to the truly wicked smile that the Jester could pull off. She knew the true Jester better them most anyone and this man, was a poor imposter. And it became clear that this fake Jester hated that it was being pointed out as he began screaming and she backed away while a small smile formed on her face, listening to him scream. It seemed that this was a sore spot for the fake Jester as he screamed at her about her having been fooled by the imposter. Glancing over her shoulder, Scarlet Cat saw Twisty and Clown Hammer moving out of the alley across the street and crossing to stand in the middle of the street.

Her gaze then returned to Fake Jester as he spoke again, claiming that innocent people were going to die because of her filthy mouth. She gazed at him for a long moment before she nodded slightly to herself, as if confirming something. She was thinking that even though he was a poor imposter, he was certainly off his rocker. Then again, all of these people were crazy. "Oh, believe me. I know the true one." she said as she backed out of the alley. "I know him.... very well." The felines gaze moved over the Fake Jester for a long moment before she looked back at Clown Hammer and Twisty again. The woman had to decide who to target and she decided that the clowns in the middle of the street had to be taken care of first. From what she could see, they posed an immediate threat to the people out enjoying the city night life. Though she couldn't just brush off the Fake Jester as he was an unknown enemy. She didn't know what he could do just yet.

"I may need your help down here darling." she warned Stargirl before she turned and went for the clowns standing in the middle of the street. Her feet carried her quickly towards Twisty and Clown Hammer. She had to be careful because she didn't want to get hit with the hammer nor was she entirely sure as to what Twisty might do. Thanks to her training with Tristan, she was able to quick shift between different elements. So pulling upon her water powers, she sent a strong blast of water at the clowns. It might not take them out, but she was hoping that it would distract them a bit as she followed the powerful blast of water with a physical attack as she went for Twisty first.
 
Raven was locked in a back & fourth battle with the twins. Defending while also attacking the two men. The twins worked well as a pair. Attacking as if they were one person. This made battling them a lot harder then fighting one foe, or even two different foes. The male twins were working as if they were one person in two different bodies. This special connection made them hard to defeat. They seemed to know just where the other would be and what the other would do. Causing Raven all kinds of trouble. Below on the street. Scarlet Cat was already moving against those around her. She sent a water blast at Twisty and Clown Hammer. The blast of water did take Twisty off his feet, and it did push Clown Hammer back. However, Clown Hammer wasn't as distracted as Cat might have hoped. Seeing Scarlet Cat moving towards the recovering Twisty. Clown Hammer unleashed a powerful blast of energy from his hammer. This energy struck the oncoming taxi cab, causing the cab to flip in the air and land hard in it's roof. The driver and two passengers were trapped inside.

Fake Jester pulled a long metal tube from inside of his coat. He also pulled a grenade from one of his outside coat pockets. Fake Jester then placed the grenade into the top of the long metal tube. He fired the grenade off while laughing. The grenade was aimed right at the crowd of people, just down the street. Waiting to get inside the dance club. A moment before Scarlet Cat reached Twisty. Something heavy struck her in the head, from behind. It was like being hit with a 10lbs bag of wet sand in the back of the head. Laying on the ground was an arrow with a boxing glove attached to the end. It was fired by the unknown woman Scarlet Cat and picked up but couldn't see. This woman was another member of the gang. She was called Trickshot. Stargirl dropped out from the night sky. She caught the grenade in her hands, holding the explosive device as it went off. Stargirl's body shielded the innocent people who were now becoming aware of the heroes & villains. " DAMN!.......DAMN!........DAMN! " Fake Jester cursed while pulling another grenade out. Ring Master stepped out of the alley. She could see what was causing Jester so much trouble. " Strongman!.......Cannonball!...........Center ring! " Ring Master called on her two biggest acts. Both large men left the alley, stepping out into the street. The heroes were outnumbered against foes they hadn't fought before this night. They only had a basic understanding of this gang's abilities. The heroes were also down a team member. Normally Nighthawk would be with them. However, Adam was wrapped up in his botany course in college, or rather wrapped up with his sexy professor. The blonde woman who seemed to have taken Adam away from his family. Fake Jester fired a second grenade at Stargirl. Once again, she caught the explosive in her hands and let it go off. Stargirl wasn't effected by the blast which would have killed any normal person. The teenage superhero began moving down the street, coming closer to where the alley crossed the main street.
 
Scarlet Cat saw Twisty get knocked off his feet, but Clown Hammer wasn't as effected. He was pushed back a bit but he quickly recovered and he sent a powerful blast of energy from his hammer towards the oncoming taxicab that had not just the driver but two passengers inside as well. This made the shifter growl as they were trapped inside while she attacked. However, just before she reached Twisty and could land a blow, Scarlet Cat felt something hit her in the head and she staggered away from him, dropping to her knees. The woman was stunned from the heavy blow, her head spinning for a bit as her hand went to her head where she'd been struck and she shook her head while blinking heavily. Pushing herself up, Scarlet Cat staggered a bit before looking at the ground to see an arrow with a boxing glove attached to the end of it.

Reaching out, she snatched it up before looking quickly in the direction that the arrow had come from and she saw a woman with a bow. She was the one who had fired the arrow at her. Scarlet Cat gripped the arrow tightly in her hand before she threw it aside. Her hand then went to her hip where her only weapon, other then her powers, hung. When she had first shown up and introduced herself to Raven and the other heroes, she had come with just one weapon and usually she didn't use it any more. But something told her to bring it tonight. It was a long snakewhip. Something that had been gifted to her a long time ago, though no one knew who had given it to her. Just that she'd had it for a good many years. Since before even meeting Erics uncle. Because she rarely used it in her fighting though, most of her enemies these days didn't know her skill at it, but her family had seen her practice with it a couple times. Much like how she was able to incorporate other weapons into her fighting, she was able to do the same with her whip and that was what she was about to do.

Unhooking it from her belt, Scarlet Cat let the long leather weapon uncoil and she flicked it a little before she sprang into action. With a sharp snap of her wrist, she snapped the whip before aiming for Clown Hammer and she struck at him, the long lether wrapping around the arm that was supporting the weight of his hammer and she yanked hard upon it while moving towards Twisty and she moved to kick him hard in the legs. All the while, she was doing her best to keep an eye on Trickshot, not wanting to be hit again by the woman. Scarlet Cat knew that she could take on a larger form of some kind of animal, which she would if needed, but lately she was trying not to rely as heavily on that as she once had. As she began to take on Twisty and Clown Hammer, she could also see Stargirl coming down the street towards them.
 
Ring Master sent Strongman & Cannonball to intercept Stargirl. The female powerhouse was heading for the fake Jester. That was until Stargirl was struck by Cannonball. The man propelled himself through the air like a cannonball. Striking his targets hard, but without any explosive force. The man still drove Stargirl into a nearby car. He then began beating her as she laid in the twisted metal. Cannonball thought he'd beaten the hero. He soon found out he was wrong. Stargirl freed one of her hands. She then slammed her fist into the man's face. Cannonball was sent flying acrossed the street. His body slammed into the building. Creating a huge hole in the wall. Stargirl began pulling herself from the wrecked car. She was quickly jumped by Strongman. He busted his sword over her head, before he grabbed the hero by her head. The large man began pounding her face off the damaged car. Ring Master was pleased with how her team worked together. She turned her attention towards Scarlet Cat after hearing the crack of her whip. Cat wasn't known for using such a weapon. She didn't often use it, though she'd been seen from time to time carrying it.

Scarlet Cat started to focus her attention and her attack on the two clowns. She's wrapped the end of her whip around Clown Hammer's arm. The arm he was supporting his weapon with. Cat kicked at Twisty, who was still on the ground. She then began to struggle against Clown Hammer. He was trying to pull his arm free. At that moment. An arrow whizzed past Scarlet Cat's head. A near miss by Trickshot. The young woman was getting the hero's attention. Distracting her so another could strike. Ring Master did strike. Using her own whip. A bullwhip, a tool often used by ring masters in the circus. The leather end of Ring Master's whip wrapped around the wrist Cat was using to hold her snakewhip. She then flashed the hero a grin. " You're not the only one who loves playing with toys. " Ring Master spoke while yanking back hard on her whip. There was now a tug of war going on. Clown Hammer was pulling Cat's whip towards him. Ring Master was pulling Scarlet Cat's wrist, holding her whip, towards the other woman. Fake Jester reached into his coat and pulled out a pistol. He began moving towards Scarlet Cat. Grinning with a wild look in his eye. He wanted to take advantage of Scarlet Cat being tied up between Ring Master & Clown Hammer. However, he never got the chance.

Suddenly, two fighting figures came crashing down from above. One was a creature the heroes came to know as Toxin. A creature created by Doctor Simon Lynch. It first showed up during the battle with Apocalypse. The creature quickly became a foe of Arachnia after that day. And for obvious reasons. The creature had been modeled from the web spinning hero. The other creature was unknown, but clear it had no love for Toxin. This Creature looked even more vicious. The two creatures seemed bent on destorying each other. Added to this, the sound of police sirens could he heard. The cops were fast approaching the scene. Stargirl jammed her elbow into Strongman's stomach. This broke his grip on her head. She then decked him hard. Sending the large man flying down the street and almost into Fake Jester. " The job is blown!........Time to run! " Ring Master called out to her gang. To aid in the gang's departure. Fake Jester pulled some marbles from his outside coat pocket. He tossed the marbles into the air. And as they began to strike the ground. Each marble exploded. One had hit the taxi cab, catching it on fire. The driver and two passengers were still trapped inside. The people screaming for help. Fake Jester knew Scarlet Cat wouldn't let those innocent people. The circus gang started to make their getaway. However, the twins were nowhere in sight and despite being called upon. They weren't joining their friends, and for good reason.
 
There was action going on all through the street as the heroes took on the criminal cirques troop. Scarlet Cat had her attention on the two clowns, her whip wrapped tightly around Clown Hammer's arm to keep him from swinging his weapon any more. While she tugged on him, she aimed a kick at Twisty before then struggling against Clown Hammer. He was strong, the woman softly grunting as she pulled at him while he tried to pull his arm free. As she struggled against him, she heard the incoming arrow and turned her head slightly, just enough for the arrow to miss and she snarled softly while yanking harder. However, this distracted her enough for Ring Master to attack. Cat felt the end of Ring Masters whip contact her wrist and wrap around it before the woman yanked back while saying that the hero wasn't the only one who loved playing with toys.

This put the hero in a tug of war between the two villians while also setting her up to be attacked by Fake Jester. Scarlet Cat looked between the three villians, her gaze quickly switching back and forth before she looked at Ring Master. "I don't play, sweetheart." she hissed before switching which hand she held her own whip in and she gave a strong tug while at the same time, waiting for the right moment and just when Ring Master pulled again, she changed her arm into air just long enough for the whip to pass through and it set the Ring Master backwards a bit. About at the same time, two figures came crashing down from above into the middle of the fight and then the sounds of sirens could be heard. It quickly became clear that the job was a bust for Ring Master and she realized it, telling her gang that it was time to run. Soon the air was filled with the sounds of explosions from a handful of marbles that Fake Jester had tossed in the air which had exploded when they struck the ground, or in one marbles case, it struck the taxi and caused the taxi to catch fire. As the people began screaming for help, Scarlet Cat knew that she had to help.

So with one last yank, she loosened the whip just enough and abandoned Clown Hammer. She moved quickly over to where the taxi cab was, pausing just long enough to kick Twisty once more to ensure that he was knocked out before she continued over to the taxi. Once there, she shifted to her water form and began gathered water from the air around her into a large ball and she tossed it onto the car. It didn't quite douse the flames completely, but it shrunk them enough for her to get close. Getting down, she moved to the drivers side and told the driver to turn away before she aimed several kicks to the window. After the second kick, the glass shattered and she reached inside, carefully pulling the driver out before she then moved onto the back to help the passangers.
 
The distraction created by the fighting creatures, along with Fake Jester. Drew the attention of both Scarlet Cat & Stargirl. Cat thought quickly and used her power of water to help keep the flames down. She then rescued the cab driver after breaking his window. The man was hurried off to the side. Cat then turned her attention back to the cab. Two people remained trapped inside the back seat. Scarlet Cat was soon joined by Stargirl. The circus gang was making their escape. Most of them anyway. Twisty was out like a light. Having been kicked several times by Scarlet Cat. The last one put his lights out. Stargirl reached down, grabbing the rear door of the cab. She ripped the door off so Scarlet Cat could get the people out. Those two creatures continued to fight. Creating weapons from their own bodies, and slashing away at each other. They fought like wild animals with the ability to shape shift. The sirens were growing closer. Both police, rescue and fire personnel were on their way.

Raven touched down not far from where Scarlet Cat & Stargirl were standing. He had the twins wrapped up and ready for the police. Raven saw the odd looking creatures battling it out. He'd seen something falling from higher above, but didn't get a clear view of what it was. Raven told his girls, they needed to break this up before they went after the circus gang. He told them to stand ready. Raven then reached into his belt, pulling out one of his Raven's Wings. He tossed the weapon at the fighting creatures. It exploded on contact. Sending both Toxin and the unknown creature flying backwards. Police cars began pulling up. Raven warned them to keep everyone back. The hero saying this area wasn't safe yet. The red colored creature shook it's head before looking at the heroes. It hissed at them while standing. " KILL YOU ALL I WILL! " The creature screamed at the heroes. The bad English was followed by an insane laugh which came from this monster. It was clearly a woman. Just as Toxin had been a woman at one time. And just as clearly. Something had changed them. Turning them both into who knows what? Toxin also glared at the heroes. She wasn't expecting any heroes to show up so soon. Toxin hadn't been aware of the heroes and the circus gang fighting. Her attention had been on her most hated enemy. Toxin decided to getaway while she could. Fighting heroes was fun, but there were three heroes. Not the odds Toxin enjoyed. She fired a web from the back of her hand. She pulled herself off the ground and swung away. Stargirl asked if she should go after her. Raven said no. They had more important work catching the circus gang before they slipped out of town.

Gore yelled her name out at the heroes. Her hands formed into two large metal like blades. Each blade was curved, about two feet long. Raven got ready for another fight. But Gore thought before acting. Her blades disappeared back into her hands. A tentacle then stretched out from her body. She pulled herself off the ground and out of sight. Raven said they would have to looking into finding who that creature was. She had shape shifting powers, but she wasn't a shape shifter. Not like Scarlet Cat, Tristan & Malcot were. Raven then spoke of handing over the captured members of the circus gang and going after the rest. Twisty was picked up by Scarlet Cat. Raven handed the twins over to the police. The heroes then took off, after promising to deliver the rest of the gang shortly. Raven and the others made good time flying acrossed the city. They soon reached the grounds where the circus was putting on shows. And just as Jester had said. The gang wasn't far away. There was an old building beside the grounds. Everything Jester said was coming true. After a scan, Raven found the villains inside. They were packing for a fast getaway. Raven then set Scarlet Cat & Stargirl free, to attack on their own. They would take the gang by surprise with a threeway attack. Stargirl went high, into the air. She planned on taking them from above. Raven went straight for a doorway. He crashed through, getting the attention of the villains. Leaving them open for an attack from Scarlet Cat.
 
One thing that Cat hated was letting the Ring Master and her group go, but she knew that she needed to help the people trapped in the car. She got the driver out before she was joined by Stargirl who grabbed the rear door of the cab and ripped it off. Saying a quick thanks, Scarlet Cat reached inside and carefully pulled the people out, one at a time before moving them away from the cab. She had no clue what would happen with the cab, but she wanted the passengers and driver a safe distance away if anything should happen.

When Raven touched down, Scarlet Cat looked over at him before looking at the two strange creatures decking it out in the middle of the street. They were an unexpected addition to the drama that had been unfolding in the street. And they were a very violent and dangerous addition at that. Raven told the girls that the fight needed to be broken up before they could go after the circus gang and they were told to stand ready. Nodding, Scarlet Cat stood back and watched as Raven removed one of his Raven's Wings from his belt and then tossed it at the two creatures, exploding and separating them. The first to notice the heroes was the red one which hissed and then screamed at them. Its claim of killing them made Scarlet Cat glance at her partners and then raise an eyebrow as it laughed. It was clear that this had once been a woman, but who was unknown and how it became like this was a mystery.

The other creature, Toxin, also glared at them. She looked like she was about to attack but had other thoughts and she made a quick getaway, taking to the air with the use of her web and Scarlet Cat watched her go before glancing at Stargirl who was asking if she should go after her and she was told no. "We can't afford to let Ring Master and her merry band leave town." she commented while focusing once more on Gore who yelled out her own name. When she formed two large blades from her hands, Scarlet Cat got ready for her attack, but she seemed to rethink this and the creature was soon taking off as well, disappearing from their view. Slowly, Scarlet Cat nodded when Raven spoke of them looking into who that creature was. But not right now. They had more important things to take care of.

Scarlet Cat grabbed Twisty and dragged him over to the police and dropped him off, Raven also delivering the twins before they promised to deliver the rest of the gang. They then took off into the sky, Scarlet Cat taking off in her raven form and flying across the sky to follow the gang to the circus. Scarlet Cat remembered Jesters advice that the gang would have a place not far from the circus to use as their hide out and sure enough, they quickly found them in an old building close to the grounds where the circus was putting on their shows. They would take the gang by surprise. Stargirl would be going high, attacking by air while Raven would be going for the doorway. With this decided, Scarlet Cat would attack from within.

Shifting to air and easily slipping inside, she watched as everyone was scrambling around to pack up quickly before she reformed, hidden behind some boxes. She waited for Raven to crash through the doors and when he did, he surprised the villians. And using this to her advantage, Scarlet Girl attacked quickly from the shadows in a burst of activity. She lept out of the shadows, attacking quickly with kicks and punches. It was a big surprise to them because they had known that they'd left the redheaded shifter behind at the bank and none had seen her enter.
 
To further distract the villains. Raven tossed some flash bang grenades around the room. The flash and explosion put the villains on the defense from the start. They weren't given a chance to react once Raven was inside the room. And when Scarlet Cat attacked, they were already reeling. A second later. Stargirl came down through the roof. Crashing straight through the ceiling. The villains found themselves trapped on three sides. Scarlet Cat went straight into those close to her. One of which was the Fake Jester. The other was Clown Hammer, without his special hammer. Fake Jester wasn't half the man the real Jester was. It might be funny for Scarlet Cat to admit that, but she would with a bit of pride. A lot had happened between Jester & Scarlet Cat recently. And a lot had changed, though it was about to change even more. They'd become closer, but would become even closer. Once the circus gang was taken down and the surprise discovery was made.

One by one. All the villains started to fall. Scarlet Cat was handling Fake Jester & Clown Hammer. Stargirl was taking care of Strongman & the Human Cannonball. Raven dealt with Ring Master & Trickshot. As the villains began to fall. They were wrapped up for the police to pickup. This left the heroes standing over their downed foes. The heat of battle soon faded. It was the fight which kept Scarlet Cat from sensing a familiar scent. A scent which Cat would know was coming from one of her cubs, but it was an unknown scent. This was the first time she could remember smelling it. yet it was familiar. Like a forgotten memory suddenly brought back by the smell of something comforting. The scent would draw Scarlet Cat to the back of the Ice Cream truck. The rear doors were closed, but something was clearly inside the truck. And whatever it was smelled like one of Alexandria's children. This was impossible as Alexandria would have heard if the manor had been attacked. The scent was different from her other children. So Alexandria knew it wasn't one of them. Stargirl then spoke up. Saying she could hear a heart beating from inside the truck. Someone was in there. As the doors were opened, a tiger cage came into view. Sitting cross legged inside the cage was a Young girl with green hair and very pale skin. Skin which looked just like Jester's skin. She wore a large grin on her face, even though she was trapped inside the cage. " Oh my God!...........She looks like Jester! " Stargirl spoke in surprise. A small bit of the girl's hair suddenly became a sandy blonde streak.
 
The villains were already confused by the surprise attacks and the flash bang just added to their confusion. Scarlet Cat wasn't pulling any punches as she went for those closest to her which turned out to be Fake Jester and Clown Hammer. She took down Clown Hammer first, beating him down with a couple well aimed punches and kicks before she focused on Fake Jester. With him, she took a bit of pleasure in beating him up. He was an impersonator and a lousy one at that. He had nothing on the real and true Jester. And a part of her felt insulted that he was insist that he was the real one. She hit him a little longer and a little harder then she had Clown Hammer before finally knocking him out. Once both the villains she was fighting were taken out, she dragged them both over to the side and tied them up, leaving them while looking around and watching as Stargirl and Raven finished taking down the villains that they were fighting.

With the fighting over and everything began to calm down, Scarlet Cat looked around slowly and she took a deep breath, slowly letting it out. As she did though, she caught a scent in the air. It was a little faint because of the heat of the battle, but something about it caught the shifters attention and she frowned slightly. With a faint growl, she began following the scent. She ignored everything around her as she moved through the place towards the ice cream truck. Reaching it, Scarlet Cat froze and stared at the truck for a long moment before closing her eyes. After she did, she took another deep breath in through her nose and slowly let it out through her mouth in an action not much different to when a feline would scent its prey. As she took in the scent that she'd caught, she could feel the hair on her arms stand on end and her eyes snapped open as she clenched her jaw. Scarlet Cat had never caught this scent before that she could remember, but it was so familiar. Like when a person smelled something that stirred up memories of a distant memory.

Her maternal instincts were being set off and though she knew the scent wasn't of one of her children, her feline instincts were telling her that this was and it was putting her on edge. She then heard Stargirl speak of hearing a heart beat within the truck and Scarlet Cat nodded slightly as the young woman said that someone was in there. When the doors of the truck was opened, a tiger cage was revealed with a girl sitting inside. The girl looked just like the Jester with his white skin and brilliant green hair. Scarlet Cat stood there staring at the girl, not even really registering what Stargirl was saying as she looked at the girl. When a small bit of the girl's hair began to change to a sandy blonde, Scarlet Cat looked over at Raven, a troubled look on her face. "There's something wrong." she told him softly. "My instincts... they're telling me that she's mine. But... I don't... I don't know why." She looked at the girl again before moving closer to the truck, looking at the girl who sat inside. "Do you have a name girl?" she asked her.
 
No one had expected finding a girl being held prisoner by the gang. Yet that is what they found. Among the stolen loot also inside the ice cream truck. A tiger cage sat there with a young woman inside. The young woman had pure, pale white skin and green hair. She certainly looked just like the real Jester. More so then the fake one Scarlet Cat took down not long ago. Stargirl & Raven were stunned and stood there in silence. Both knew this could be some kind of trick. Something the circus gang had set up ahead of time. However, what Scarlet Cat said about this girl and her instincts made a trick less likely. Neither Stargirl or Raven understood how this could be possible. Alexandria had shared her life with them. Told them everything she could remember of her past. Though there were parts of her history which even Alexandria didn't fully know. Like what happened to her in the weeks after the death of Thomas Reed. A dark point in her life which Alexandria had no real memories of. Almost two years was missing from her life. Like she'd fallen into some dark pit and stayed there for two years before crawling back out and continuing with her life.

The girl made no moves inside her cage. She just sat there, grinning at these strange people. The girl was dressed in little more then rags. A dirty ripped t-shirt and ripped clown pants was all she wore. She tilted her head as Scarlet Cat came closer. She loved the red coloring of Cat's hair. That blonde streak soon became a bright red streak, running down from the top of her head. Scarlet Cat as if the girl had a name? The girl leaned forwards, placing her hands onto the bars. " The woman who rised me said my mommy called me Jilly............So Jilly is my name.............Do you have a name? " Jilly's voice sounded so innocent and playful as she spoke. Like some sweet child, but she appeared to be Jester's child, and that made her dangerous. Jilly remained grinning at Scarlet Cat as they stared at each other through the bars. Raven & Stargirl stood back, watching Scarlet Cat interact with this girl. A genetic test would tell who her parents were. But how she came to be was another story and would need special help in finding out. The genetic test could be run here. So Jilly wouldn't have to be brought back to the cave. Raven did suggest that they get the girl out of the cage. It seemed inhuman to keep her there any longer.
 
Scarlet Cat was deeply troubled by what her senses were telling her. Just like when she first discovered Tristan, her feline instincts were telling her something that her mind was telling her couldn't be true. It was upsetting and troubling in a way that she couldn't express right that moment. After speaking to Raven and Stargirl, she moved closer to the girl and looked closely at her. Scarlet Cats acid green gaze moved over the girl, looking at her from head to toe. The girl was very pretty, even with her ragged and dirty state. As the shifter had moved closer, she saw how the girl tilted her head in a manner that Scarlet Cat herself did when she was curious about something. Then she saw that dirty blonde lock of hair become the same vibrant red that Scarlet Cat currently had her hair and she swallowed hard before she asked if the girl had a name.

The girl told her that the woman whom had raised her said that her mother had called her Jilly, so that was her name. "Jilly is a very pretty name." Scarlet Cat gently said while studying the girl. "I have many names. Too many. But you can call me Cat for now." The innocent and playful way that Jilly spoke was so sweet yet it was troubling as well. She reminded her so much of Jester. Lifting a hand, she grabbed one of the bars of the tiger cage before she glanced over her shoulder and looked at Raven. "I need to know Raven." she told him. "I need to know if she's mine." Raven then suggested that they get the girl out of the cage and she nodded before looking once more at Jilly. "Lets get you out of that cage, yeah?" she said to her before looking at it for the way to open the cage. Scarlet Cat was feeling anxious to know the truth about who Jilly was.
 
The grin never left Jilly's face as she stared at the woman in leather. Scarlet Cat then introduced herself, in a fashion. She told Jilly to call her Cat. This made the young woman title her head again. This time in the other direction. Moving it from right to left. Jilly was thinking of the name the woman gave her. " Cat? " Jilly asked in her playful manner. " Like a Pussycat?...........I just love pussycats. " Jilly spoke with a chuckle in her voice. She used the same name Alexandria had used playful when she was visiting Jester. It meant nothing at the time Alexandria had spoken it, but after hearing Jilly use the name, it seemed very familiar. It was something in the way Jilly spoke the name. Sounding like Jester being playful. She let her hair color change until it match Scarlet Cat's hair. The girl had some shifting abilities. That much was clear. Whether she really was from Alexandria would only be known after a genetic scan was done. Raven gave Scarlet Cat a nod of his head when she spoke of needing to know. Using the control device on his forearm. Raven got ready to do a scan and check Jilly's DNA against the sample he had on Alexandria.

Once Raven was ready. He motioned for Stargirl to help get Jilly out of the cage. Stargirl stepped closer, grabbed the door and pealed it off like it was tissue paper. This made Jilly clap her hands and laugh. " She's strong and pretty! " Jilly spoke then her smile suddenly went away. " Mr. Jester doesn't allow me to leave the cage without his permission. " Jilly spoke with a slightly hushed tone, but loud enough for Scarlet Cat and the others to hear her. It took a few moments. but Scarlet Cat was able to assure Jilly it was alright to leave the cage. She no longer would be caged like an animal. Jilly finally slipped from the cage. She studied Scarlet Cat's face and body more. " You're very pretty. " Jilly spoke as Raven started taking his scans. Once he got a scan of Jilly's DNA, he matched it against Alexandria's. It only took Raven's computer a few seconds to confirm the match. " 100% Match Cat..........I don't know how.......But you have your answer. " Raven spoke as cryptically as possible. He wasn't sure how Alexandria wanted to handle this. It did point to Alexandria & Jester having a child together. The evidence was standing, staring at her.
 
When Jilly called her Cat, Scarlet Cat subconsciously tilted her head much like Jilly had moments before. The way the girl spoke the shortened version of her superhero name struck a chord in her. It was like when a person smelled something familiar but couldn't place where they'd smelt it before. "Yes... like a pussycat." she murmured softly. While talking with the girl, she saw how Jilly let her hair color change until it matched Scarlet Cat's and the shifter watched as the hair color changed from one color to another, something she was very familiar with as she did it all the time. There were times when she was at home when she was just relaxing that she would randomly change her hair color and hair style without even realizing it as it was something that she'd been doing for so long. That this girl was able to do this, made it clear that she had some kind of shifting powers, but how far those powers went, were unknown.

As Stargirl stepped forward, Scarlet Cat moved aside and watched as her daughter pealed the door of the cage off as if it were merely tissue paper. The joy that Jilly seemed to get from this actually caused a small smile to form on Scarlets face as the girl talked of Stargirl being strong and pretty. Jilly then spoke of Mr. Jester not allowing her to leave the cage without his permission. This made the shifter frown and then glance over her shoulder in the direction that the unconscious Fake Jester was before looking at the girl again. "You don't have to worry about him any more. Mr. Jester is in a lot of trouble, so you don't have to listen to him anymore." she told the girl. "You no longer have to stay in this cage." Watching the girl closely, she watched Jilly slip out of the cage and she stood still as the girl studied her before Jilly finally said that Scarlet Cat was very pretty. "Thank you." she told the girl.

At the same time, she knew that Raven was doing his scans and she was waiting for the results. It didn't take long and finally he spoke, confirming what her instincts were telling her. This made the shifter glance at her lovers with a slightly distressed look in her eyes. They would remember how upset she was over the whole situation of not being able to remember Tristan. But she was stronger now. Taking a deep breath, Scarlet Cat sighed and looked at Jilly again. "I can't leave her behind." she told the others. "And I need to know more about her.... more about how this came to happen." Scarlet Cat was aware that they had no clue what the girls temperament was like, so she wasn't sure if they could take her back to the manor with them. But the girl couldn't be left for the authorities to deal with. Especially since she looked like Jester. "What happened to the lady who raised you, Jilly?" she asked. "How did you come to be with these people?"
 
There were a lot of unanswered questions about Jilly. And like with Tristan, there was only one way to get the answers. Most of then anyway. Alexandria would have to let her mind be probe again. Until that happened, the heroes would make sure this place was taken care of by the police. Raven put in a call, letting the cops know where the rest of the circus gang was and where all the stolen loot was kept. He then returned to where Scarlet Cat stood with Jilly. The girl was a about the same height as Scarlet Cat. And she now wore the came colored hair. Raven was sure he knew what Cat would do next. Cat said she couldn't leave the girl behind. She then spoke of needing to know more about the girl and how she came to happen. Raven was a little worried about bringing the daughter of Jester into their home. But, the hero knew that the girl hadn't done anything wrong. Not that any of them knew for sure. It's possible with the right kind of love. Jilly could become a productive member of the family. Raven asked Stargirl to look around and find something Jilly could wear. Beside those rags she was dressed in. Stargirl nodded her head before leaving the small group.

Scarlet Cat then asked Jilly about the woman who raised her? And how she came to be among these villains. Jilly thought for a moment. Letting her past came into focus. Seeing all the new people, like Pussycat, really excited her. It wasn't often that she saw such fascinating people. " Miss Billings died several years ago..........I'm not sure of what.........Then I was living in another city............Boston I think. " Jilly started to tell her story. She spoke of living on the street for a while, but people were afraid of her because of how she looked. She spoke of always having the pale white skin and large smile. Jilly added that people were really freaked out by how she could change her hair color. Something she said she'd been doing since a child. Jilly then spoke of how a man name Grimble gave her a job, working as part of his sideshow. Jilly said one day Mr. Jester and his friends came along. Looking to use Grimble's sideshow. They saw the girl and remarked how she looked like Jester. Jilly thought she and Mr. Jester were the same, so she went with them when they took her away from Grimble. Jilly said Mr. Jester and his friends began working with the Howe Circus. Though she admitted they did little circus work. Mostly going out at night. They used the circus as cover for their crimes. Jilly knew nothing about crimes though.

The police arrived and picked up the circus gang. They also collected all the stolen loot. The police asked about the girl? Cat told them she had been a prisoner of the gang and the heroes would take care of her. This was enough for the police who went about their work. Stargirl returned with an extra outfit used by Fake Jester. It was all she could find which seemed appropriate. Stargirl said she removed anything that might be a weapon. She was highly suspicious of this girl. She could be the daughter of the madman who turned Alexandria into his daughter and murdered Stargirl's family. Along with countless others over the years. Jilly took the clothes, then she started to undress right there. Pulling off her top and removing her pants. The girl clearly had no shame in showing off her body around strangers. Jilly did have a sexy naked body. Very much like Alexandria in her natural form, with out the fur and tattoos she wore. Jilly was pure white, expect for her hair. Which seemed naturally green as the hair around her pussy still remained green. The girl quickly dressed in the clothes given to her. She then presented herself, asking if This looked better? Raven said they should warn James about Jilly. Believing that leaving the girl without supervision wasn't a good idea. How she looked might cause some trouble if Jilly was left in the city.
 
Scarlet Cat knew that just like with Tristan, she was going to need to delve into her past and to let her mind be probed. This time it would be deeper then before and she wasn't comfortable with the thought of doing it, but it needed to be done. She needed answers. She heard Raven making the call to the cops to let them know where they could find the rest of the circus gang and all the stolen loot was before he then returned to where she stood with Jilly. Raven wouldn't be surprised to hear that she couldn't leave the girl behind. She just discovered that she was her daughter and Scarlet Cat wasn't the kind to leave her children behind knowingly. When Raven asked Stargirl to look and see if she could find something that Jilly could wear, Scarlet Cat nodded and watched the younger hero move off to look for something.

This left Scarlet Cat to talk with Jilly about her past a little. Learning more about Jilly might provide some answers, as little as they might be. The girl seemed to think for a bit before she told her that the woman whom had raised her was Miss Billings but the woman had died several years back and she spoke of possibly having lived in Boston. Scarlet Cat slowly nodded. She was very familiar with Boston, having spent some time there off and on over the many years during her travels. She then told Cat that she then lived on the street for a while but her look had often scared people and people got really freaked out over how she had been able to change her hair color, which was something she'd been able to do since she was a child. It was later that a man named Grimble took her on as a part of his sideshow working for him. But then Fake Jester and his cohorts had come along and taken her away from Grimble before Fake Jester and the others began working with the Howe Circus.

"I'm going to do a search into Grimble and this Miss Billings." she told Raven before the police began arriving and gathering up the circus gang, the red head watching as the officers did their jobs and she smiled while watching the villians being hauled away. When they were then asked about the girl, Scarlet Cat told them that the girl had been a prisoner of the gang and that they would take care of her. Shortly afterwards, Stargirl showed up with an extra outfit used by Fake Jester. The girls comment of having removed anything that might be a weapon cause Scarlet Cat to look at her before nodding. She understood the others caution with Jilly. The girl could possibly be Jesters daughter. But she hoped that they would remember that, even if Jilly was, she was also Alexandria's daughter as well. That she shouldn't be punished for the sins of her father. When Jilly began undressing, Scarlet Cat coughed softly to hide a short laugh and she watched as the girl changed into the outfit that Stargirl brought over. Scarlet Cat saw that the girl, much like Jester, had completely white skin and her hair looked naturally green, as the hair between her legs was the same vibrant green as what the hair on her head had been when they first found her.

"It's better then the rags, yes." Scarlet replied after the girl presented herself and asked if it looked better. She then agreed about warning James about Jilly. She also agreed about supervision for Jilly. The girls looks could cause trouble in the city and until they know her mental state better, it was best that she had a chaperone at all times. Once they were back at the manor, Scarlet Cat wanted to sit and talk with Jilly more on her time with Fake Jester and the circus. She wanted to know what to expect from the young woman. Once the police had finished up their jobs, the heroes finally decided it was time for them to return to the manor. Scarlet Cat had contacted James when they were on their way home to let him know about the new arrival coming with him and she warned him about how she looked. She then told Raven that she needed to see Psi-girl as soon as the girl was available. "She's the only one that I trust with something like this." she told him as they neared the manor. "The only person that I trust to go poking around inside my mind."
 
Alexandria wasn't fond of people with mental powers. The type of powers which let others probe into the minds of others. This always made Alexandria uncomfortable. There was one person with such powers that Alexandria did trust. Only because she helped to find out the truth about Tristan, and she could keep a secret. After realizing they needed someone with psychic powers. Alexandria picked Psi Girl because they'd worked together in the league. Fighting side by side. Psi Girl had proven she was trustworthy. Eric & Alexandria revealed who really were to the young woman. Showing her the trust they had in her. Raven made a call at Cat's request. He called on Psi Girl, who'd been semi retired from hero work since the league split apart. Raven said they needed her help again. He promised everything would be explained once she reached the manor. Psi Girl agreed to help and said she would be there within the hour. By then, the heroes would be back home.

James passed the word among those living at the manor. Another guest was coming to visit and possibly to stay. Malcot was very curious to meet this young woman. If she was Alexandria's daughter, then Jilly would be the granddaughter of Malcot. Tristan was a little worried about bring Jilly to the manor. If she was like her father. The visit could go badly. So Richard would be kept away from Jilly until her mental state could be understood. There was no way of knowing how much of Jester was inside the girl. She seemed very nice and innocent. Yet, she held onto that Jester like grin. It hardly left her face. Jilly seemed like a calm person. She hadn't shown any traits which pointed to her being insane. It seemed this Miss Billings had raised Jilly with love. Other then living on the street for a while. Jilly didn't have a hard life, until she met Fake Jester and he put her in a cage. Perhaps with more love, Jilly could blossom into a productive member of the family? Everyone was expected to treat Jilly properly. Until she showed differently.

By the time Psi Girl arrived at the manor, Alexandria was ready to sit down and get started. Jilly was currently down in the cave, along with Malcot & Image. They were keeping her busy while Alexandria was upstairs with Eric & Psi Girl. They gathered in the living room. Tristan was there, along with Angel, Dak & Tabitha. Tina was upstairs with Richard. Keeping him safe just in case something went wrong. Psi Girl & Alexandria sat down in chairs, facing each other. The young woman needed to clear her mind before they started. She then placed her finger tips on certain points of Alexandria's face. Psi Girl didn't need to touch anyone to read their minds, but physical touch gave her a deeper, more intimate session. Plus, she knew Zorg had done damage to Alexandria's memories with his black magic. He had locked away certain memories from her. Making it impossible for Alexandria to remember certain parts of her life after her time with Anton Rayne. So Psi Girl was here to help recover lost memories, as she did once before.

Psi Girl told Alexandria to relax. She didn't want Alexandria to focus on anything. Psi Girl told Alexandria she was sitting in a totally white room, in a chair and everything was fine. This allowed the younger woman to enter her mind and begin searching. Psi Girl had been told what they knew so far. So she would focus on Alexandria's life after her time with Anton Rayne. Psi Girl first spoke of Thomas Reed, and how much Alexandria loved him. She then spoke of a missing child, but this was wrong. Psi Girl corrected herself by saying the child was lost. This was the baby Alexandria had with Thomas, but she didn't know of her pregnancy at the time of his death. Alexandria had left New York and she went back to living a dangerous life. Psi Girl didn't dwell there. She moved on, continuing to search. " You became lost in your own mind..........Your grief over came you and you became someone else for a time. " Psi Girl spoke. She then spoke of Alexandria meeting Jester while working as a hooker. She said they became very close. Becoming his first partner. Psi Girl spoke of how they created a life inside of Alexandria's body. But, Alexandria left before either knew she was carrying his baby. Psi Girl went on to talk about how Alexandria added up with a midwife named Miss Emma Billings. The woman had taken Alexandria in and helped deliver her baby. " It was a girl you named Jilly. " Psi Girl added. She then spoke of how Alexandria left Jilly with Miss Billings. There was a plan on returning, but Alexandria's mind went through another change. Psi Girl said Alexandria returned to her old self and forgot about her child. She said it was like Alexandria going through blackouts and not remembering what she did during those periods of her life.

Psi Girl then broke contact, pulling her fingers away from Alexandria's face. She placed a hand onto her forehead. Such intimate session took a lot out of the young woman. Psi Girl said she saw Alexandria in Boston at that time, but her real memory didn't return until she encountered a man named Kincaid. The man who'd spent many years hunting Alexandria after she killed the son of Roman Tyco. Kincaid, a former big game hunter turned bounty hunter, went after Alexandria, to collect on the bounty placed on her head by Tyco. He hunted her for many years. Despite her ability to take other forms. Kincaid showed his hunting skills by always showing up when Alexandria least expected it. The time Psi Girl spoke of, was when Alexandria went to Long Island. She was still Jilly's mother at that time. However, seeing an enemy shook Alexandria back to who she really was. This is when she forgot about Jilly and forgot about returning for her.
 
With her bad history with others with powers to mess with others minds, the list of people that Alexandria would trust to enter her mind could be counted on one hand. She had some trust in Xander, but the person she trusted the most was Psi-Girl. She was a semi-retired hero that she knew. Psi-Girl had aided her in accessing some hidden memories when Tristan entered her life. After she told Raven that she needed to see Psi-Girl, Raven made the call for her, asking Psi-Girl that they needed her help again.

Back at the manor, they got Jilly distracted with Malcot and Image down in the cave. She asked them to talk to the girl and try to get a feel for her temperment and mental state. She just wanted an innital opinion from others who weren't effected like she was. Alexandria wanted her daughter to be able to stay, but she knew that her judgement might be a little biased. With Jilly taken care of, she returned upstairs and let her disguise fall away before she asked for some tea from James and settled in the livingroom to await Psi Girl. Alexandria was happy to have most of her family and several friends there for support while Tina was upstairs protecting Richard if needed. A set of chairs were set up facing each other and Psi Girl settled in one while Alexandria took another.

Familiar with this set-up, Alexandria looked at the young woman that she trusted and nodded when she told Alexandria to relax. She took a deep breath in through her nose and then out through her mouth while closing her eyes while listening to Psi-Girl tell her that she was in a white room, in a chair and everything was fine. Pushing everything else from her mind, Alexandria relaxed while Psi-Girl touched her face. Then Psi-Girl began speaking. She spoke of Thomas Reed and how Alexandria had loved him. This was known to everyone. Of all the men in Alexandria's life, the only man she loved more then Thomas Reed was Eric.

Then the child that Alexandria had lost was mentioned. Psi-Girl first mentioned it being missing before correcting herself. The child was lost. This had been very hard on Alexandria. She had taken the loss of Thomas very hard and all the stress afterwards had forced her to misscarry. She hadn't known that she was pregnant until it was too late. But Psi-Girl continued, not dwelling on the area of Alexandria returning to her dangerous life. Finally Psi-Girl began speaking of how she had lost her memory. Psi-Girl said that she had become lost in her own mind due to grief. It had overcome her and she became someone else.

As Psi-Girl spoke of what happened, Alexandria's memories began to trickle forth. It was like a fog was slowly dissipating as the girl spoke. What Alexandria learned left her with mixed feelings. While working as a hooker, she had met Jester and became his first partner and during that time, she'd become pregnant before she left him. After leaving, she was taken in by a midwife who helped her deliver the baby. A girl named Jilly. That baby was then left, but there had been a plan to return but something happened. Her mind had gone through another change, her old self emerging and forgetting about the child.

When Psi-Girl broke contact, Alexandria finally opened her eyes and looked at her, watching the girl place a hand on her forehead. She said that she saw Alexandria in Boston at that time and her real memory didn't return until she encountered Kincaid. Alexandria was very familiar with Kincaid as he'd spent a long time hunting her and she'd fought him many times. No matter how many times she'd changed forms and did her best to hide from him, he always seemed to find her. But Alexandria knew what time that Psi-Girl spoke of. She remembered encountering Kincaid in Long Island. Seeing him had caused her to flee Long Island and not look back. Infact, she didn't even question as to why she had been there.

Alexandria sat in silence for a little while thinking about what Psi-Girl had told her and she thanked her for her help. She had a lot to think about and a lot to process. But no matter what, had to talk to Jester. She knew that he had to be told. But not tonight. It had been a long night and Alexandria was feeling extremely emotionally drained, so she would get a nights rest before visiting Jester the next day. This would give her time to process what she was feeling and to process what she'd learned and was beginning to remember.

The next day, Alexandria went to work but left in the afternoon. She had placed a call to the prison and asked them to have Jester ready for her visit. She needed to talk to him again. After that, she left work and head out to the prison, arriving in her Scarlet Cat form and heading inside. The guards knew to expect her and she left all her weapons and her belt with the guards before being taken back to the room to meet him.
 
Malcot spent a lot of time with Jilly. Thought the young woman was very amazed by Image. Malcot didn't notice any malice within his granddaughter. But he could be just as biases as Alexandria. Jilly was part of Malcot. However, Image ran some tests on the young woman while she was down in the cave. His tests were on her DNA. Image found that Jilly had 50% human DNA. 30% belonged to Jester. The other 20% was from Alexandria. The rest of Jilly's DNA also came from her mother. She had only 5% feline DNA. The rest was shifter DNA. This explained her shifting powers, and lack of any feline features. Image believed that Jilly could be able to change the way she looked, but he also thought she wouldn't be able to change into non-human forms. Such as animals and elements. Jilly could change her hair color with ease, and Malcot thought he could help her work on changing her outer form. This would allow for Jilly to be seen in public as a member of the Reed Family. Just like Malcot had taken a human disguise to fit in better. Alexandria would be able to also help her daughter with finding a form more suited for public view. Most people wouldn't accept Jilly's natural form. Mainly because of who her father was.

Alexandria was told of what Image had found. Malcot also shared his views on Jilly's mental state. She seemed very harmless. Jilly was very curious and fascinated about the huge cave under the magnificent house. She was also amazed by all the different looking people who lived in the old house. The alien man, the winged woman and Image were astounding. Jilly would need to be told about the secrets the Reed Family kept and why it was important not to speak of those secrets with outsiders. For now Jilly would stay in the manor, under the watchful eye of Malcot. He would keep track of her while Alexandria was a way during the daytime hours. Angel had a calming effect on the young woman whenever she became overly excited about something. It was good to keep Jilly calm until she could adjust to her new surroundings. She'd gone from living in a cage, to being welcomed into a beautiful house, with lots of new people. Some of which she was related too.

The following day. Alexandria had set the wheels in motion. She needed another meeting with Jester/ Alexandria had a lot to talk with him about, but she was also grateful for his help. All the information Jester gave her was spot on. He knew most of the gang members and how they worked. His help made it easier to catch the circus gang before they could split town. No one at the prison questioned why Alexandria Reed was paying to keep that old storage room set up like a bedroom. They didn't care what her reasons where, they were getting paid not to care. So the room would remain a secret bedroom for Alexandria to use whenever she visited her favorite bad boy. And she'd grown fond of Jester since their last encounter in the prison. More so since she recovered her lost memories of him & Jilly. Deep down, part of Alexandria did love him, and she'd formally taken him as one of her lovers. They were now forever linked.

Jester had watched as his impostor was brought into the prison. The fake Jester would be held here during his trial, and it would be his home once he was found guilty. Jester was heard to say. "There goes the neighborhood" As fake Jester passed his cell. In his mind. Jester was already plotting out how to punish this fake. He would have more thoughts once Scarlet Cat arrived for another meeting. Jester certainly wasn't expecting to see Cat so soon, but he was very happy once he was told. The guards came and took Jester from his cell. Moving him to the special room set up for him and Scarlet Cat. Jester once again wore only a robe. He knew it would be a waste if they didn't have sex while the sexy hero was here. By the time Scarlet Cat arrived. Jester was waiting for her. Once again, seated in a chair with a smile on his face.
 
When Alexandria was told about what Image found, she was pleased to hear that most of Jilly's DNA came from herself. She hoped that this would keep the young woman from being too much like her father. She was also told about what Malcot thought when it came to Jilly's shifting abilities. The opinion of the two males gave her hope that her daughter would be able to be accepted into the family dynamic with time. Alexandria decided that she and Malcot would work with Jilly on her powers so she could take on a form that would be better for the public to accept as her natural form would not be taken well by the public. Jilly's curiosity and fascination was understandable, reminding Alexandria a bit of a child in a way.

Angel also spent a bit of time around Jilly, using a little of her powers to help get a feel for the girl and she told the others that she would monitor the girls emotions and let them know how they fluctuated. Of course, Angel was never left alone with the girl because of Angel being pregnant. While the winged woman had some abilities to protect herself, she never seemed to be much of a fighter. While she was with Jilly, Angel was also able to keep the girl calm as she adjusted to her new living arrangements, helping to calm her whenever she got overly excited.

The day after Jilly came to live with them, Alexandria arranged another meeting with Jester as she had a lot to talk to him about. She did her best to focus on work, but her mind kept drifting which was why she left work early to go see him. The news that Scarlet Cat was coming to see him again would come as a surprise, but not an unwanted one for the villain, as he wouldn't be expecting it. When she got there, the sexy hero merely stripped off her weapons and walked past without saying a word to the guards other then a thanks. Reaching the room, she entered and found Jester sitting there in a chair in just a robe with a big smile upon his face and she gazed at him, listening to the guard close and lock the door behind her.

For a long moment she stood there by the door before moving further into the room. "I see that you're more then ready for me." she said to him with a small smile, her eyes glittering as she looked at him. "However, there are a couple things I wished to talk to you about before any such activities may take place." She fell into silence for a bit, lightly biting her bottom lip as she gazed at his smiling face. "First I wanted to thank you for your help." she said, finally breaking the silence. "The information that you gave me made it possible to catch that gang." Alexandria wasn't sure how to bring up Jilly in a subtle way before she decided to just go for it and she took a deep breath and spoke again. "Did you know that you have a child?" she finally asked him, going straight for it. She doubted he was aware of having a child, but with Jester, one never knew.
 
Jester had a lot to think about after Scarlet Cat's last visit. And his mind was very busy replacing past events. Remembering his first partner, and how she once bit him as Scarlet Cat had done. There was also a familiar sound to her voice. A playful tone Alexandria used with her lovers. Jester was eager to speak with Cat, after he found out she was coming to see him again. He had some important things to say, but he would let her go first. After all, Scarlet Cat was here for a reason. Other then having sex with her favorite bad boy. Jester watched the door, his eyes blinking only briefly. His excitement rose once hearing the sounds of footfalls coming down the hall. The guard was leading Scarlet Cat to the special room set aside for her visits. The door was unlocked and opened. Scarlet Cat then stepped inside, looking as sexy as ever. Jester loved seeing Cat here of her own free will. It was far more fun then controlling her mind and making her do this. By now, Scarlet Cat would have her memories of being Jester's Pussycat. That time, once blocked out, was now open.

Scarlet Cat remained by the door for a moment. Just gazing at the Jester seated before her, wearing only a robe. Scarlet Cat then moved into the room. Speaking of how she could see how ready he was for her visit. " It would be a shame to waste this visit on only talk........We do have a special connection now. " Jester said while he watched Cat move closer. He was told that activity would need to wait. Scarlet Cat had a few things to speak with him about. Jester nodded his head, saying they did need to talk. It was best to get all the talking over before the fun could start. He added. Scarlet Cat then thanked Jester for his help. She said the entire circus gang had been caught. Then Scarlet Cat dropped a bomb on Jester. Saying something never expected to hear. She asked if he knew he had a daughter. This took away the smile on his face. His look became more serious. Jester pushed himself forward in his chair. Coming right to he edge. " A child?.........What kind of child and with whom did I have this child? " Jester was never more serious as he looked at Scarlet Cat. His normal joking manner was on hold waiting for more information from Cat.
 
Jesters comment about them having a special connection made her smile a little wider and she had a fleeting thought that he had no idea just how special of a connection that they really had. He also agreed that they did need to talk and it was best to get all talking over before the fun could start between them. This told her that he had something to say as well. The seriousness that overcame the man after she asked if he knew of a child was a little surprising. She'd never seen him quite so serious before and she watched him push himself to the edge of the chair while he asked about the child. Of what kind of child and with whom he had the child. Scarlet Cat could feel her heart beat picking up but she forced herself to remain calm.

"A daughter." she said honestly. "A young woman named Jilly. And... you had this child with.. with me." She was a little nervous telling him this, unsure of how he would take this news. The hero sighed softly and moved over to the bed, sitting down on the edge of it while watching him. "She looks just like you... with some of my abilities." She knew that he would want to know more about Jilly and she would be 100% honest with him about their child as it would only be right. "I will answer any questions that you have about her to the best of my ability. I only just learned of her last night myself." Leaning forward a little, Scarlet Cat rested her forearms against her knees while looking at Jester before she began telling him of how Jilly came to be. She did censor her story a bit, keeping important information such as the Reed Family out of it. But she did tell him that a lover of hers had been murdered and then she lost a child, the grief driving her out of her mind to an extent and her feral side took control. "This made me take on a form which you met and knew as Pussycat." she told him.

The woman explained that when she last left him, she hadn't been aware of being pregnant, but when she did discover it, she found a midwife who helped her deliver the child. "I had left the child with her and went out. I had planned to return.... but it wasn't meant to be." she told him. "An old enemy of mine resurfaced and it was enough of a shock to bring me back to myself and I fled the city, leaving Jilly behind. Unfortunately, this also caused the knowledge of her to be locked away. I believe it was my feral side trying to protect the baby from my enemy as I have no clue if he would kill her. But I did know that he was planning to kill me and I didn't want to lead him back to her."
 
Jester was silent as Scarlet Cat spoke of his child. She said it was his daughter. Delightful news since Jester had always wanted a daughter. In fact, Scarlet Cat had played Jester's daughter when she was acting as Blossom. Jester was then shocked to find out who the woman was. Scarlet Cat said he had the child with her. Although he was surprised by this news. it did serve to confirm his thoughts of her being Pussycat. His first partner, and the first woman Jester truly felt love for. He even gave her a special nickname. Jester used to call her "Puss". Like Puss in Boots. The famous old story of an adventuresome cat. Jester continued to listen as Scarlet Cat went into more detail. Telling of how she ended up with him. She must have went trough several mind changes. This explained why she left him. never to be seen again. Despite how much they loved each other. And yes, part of Alexandria did love Jester. Twice she'd bit into his skin and tasted his blood. Marking him as one of her special lovers. They shared a type of forbidden love. One most people would never understand. But they didn't need to understand. Alexandria took whomever she wanted as a lover. Her family already accepted that Jester & Alexandria were forever linked. Not only by their daughter, but by a form of love.

Jester slowly stood from his chair while Scarlet Cat spoke of an old enemy and how that caused her to forget about Jilly. Jester moved over to the bed and sat down beside her. Pussycat had been Jester's one true love. He spent many nights thinking of her. Wondering whatever happened to his pretty Puss. He never could have imagined that she was Scarlet Cat. Just as he could never have imagined they would have a daughter. Jester had wanted to make Scarlet Cat pregnant. Now he found out, they did have a child together. Jester reached out with his right hand, taking a hold of Scarlet Cat's left hand. " I dreamed about making you pregnant........I dreamed of putting a child in your belly......Now I find out my dream had come true after all. " Jester spoke after Scarlet Cat was finished. His serious side still shined through, but Jester was showing a more loving side, something Cat would remember while she once lived with him. Despite being crazy. Jester was also a very loving man. He'd shown Pussycat a side most never saw or thought he could have. The only questions Jester had, were where Jilly was found? What condition was was found in? And when Cat would bring her to see him? Jester wanted to see his daughter. Cat had said she looked like him, yet she had some of Cat's powers.
