I really understand this because I like it in specific contexts but goddamn its hard to actually get people that like it in the same way as me?

I think some people also get cuckolding and cheating confused. Cuckolding being a relationship where the woman sees others with the full knowledge and consent of her partner. Not what I would classify as classic cheating but some see it as the same thing.

Its a weird one for me lol. I can't stand my character being a cheater if its fully in their control but like the partner cheating if my character doesn't know its fine but if my character knows it they are generally going to be against it. I don't know why either it bothers me so much. Maybe its just kind of a personal experience thing that makes it hard for me to get into a character or like my own character when they might do something like that.

I mean for me I actually do play Villains sometimes and I'll have them do horrible things or be just vindictive to the point of causing others to suffer for 'wronging' my character, something I consider morally irreprehensible yet it makes sense for the character and it won't bother me RPing it.

Right. A character could murder innocents, rape young adults. But cheating is unfathomable. To each their own I say.

And yes, cucking and cheating aren't quite the same thing. In fact, cuckolding usually isn't cheating as the cuck (be it male or female) does get an embarrassing high off of watching their partner with a potentially superior sexual partner. This is usually done with permission, and most times the consenting partner is there to watch, or at least nearby. At the end of the day, the couple usually stays together and many times, the cucked is the one looking for potential partners for their partner.

Cheating is just the act of engaging with anyone other than your supposed partner, once a contract of exclusivity has been mentioned and agreed upon, or finalized. Reasonings for it are across the board. From being mistreated, feeling unloved, unhappy sex life, getting the "ick" with your current partner, curiosity, malintent or revenge. The cheater understands that this would hurt their partner, but they do it anyway. Sometimes the people they are cheating with are unaware of their situation, not even knowing that they are in a relationship or married. It makes for some really interesting writing, when you see the selfish and ugly temptation to otherwise quite normal people. Or the discovery of actual happiness, though the road taken was underhanded and deceitful.

I find the same thing in terms of most RP's/RT's being more of the same. Every now and again I see an alluring RT title and I think this person will be different and then I read their RT and I see more Fandom's more Non Con and Rape, more of the same.

I'm not into Fandom's of any kind however I do get inspiration from existing works. I like the idea of an old school horror movie type horror lots of suspense etc I like subtlety and psychological type stuff too.

Yeah, for me scenarios even when erotic in nature are more about the characters, how they interact and navigate the scenario. To me that is the erotic factor and any "smut" that occurs comes naturally rather than being thrown in for the hell of it. I find as well that I struggle writing sex scenes if the characters don't have any connection and I guess that really means - if I myself don't feel engaged and compelled by the RP.

I like the nuances and need the intrigue. The sex isn't essential to me especially if the RP is a horror of some kind which I have never done or some other kind of non erotically themed story.

There has to be a reason for it. Even in a fic I'm writing it appears on the surface that the female basically jumped the male and was in his pants before he could do anything had everything to do with how she belives he will stay and protect her only if she screws him. Among other things.

I did a RP where a young man held up a bank and upon hearing the police sirens panicked and grabbed a young woman as hostage and sped away. Now, he isn't a bad guy as such just a guy who has been pushed too far and is desperate and made a stupid mistake. He has no intention of harming the young woman. But of course she would push his buttons and he slapped her around a little. But would resort back to his nice guy real self.

My partner hated that and just wanted him to rape and abuse her. I really didn't even want him to slap her around but my partner played her character like a spoiled brat so I was happy to respond in kind lol.

Point being I like hope, I like direction and story and I like realistic and multi dimensional characters. No one is all good or all evil and if they are 100% of either it makes for a boring story. The "bad guy" has to have some element of humanity so people can relate not to mention so the opposing character can also relate to them.

Poor William is no horn dog, in fact he's pretty insecure and unsure of himself so when she jumped him he froze and didn't know what to do. He got annoyed afterwards when she pretty much latched onto him and thinks she has to keep attempting to get into his pants so he'll protect her.

Misunderstandings can be fun.

A Fruits Basket RP with original characters. I have always adored the idea of Fruits Basket since I first discovered it as a teen, and with the remake anime out, I am dying to do something with that world… but it is probably niche since I like Non-con and Dub-con and Fruits Basket.

I was going to say "I mean its not the most outlandish thing though I could see it being a bit tricky given the nature of how the series is but not impossible with a little workshopping" but that last bit isn't exactly something I think of when I think Fruits Basket either. XD

Haha, yeah. I mean Fruits Basket gets pretty dark, with themes of mental and physical abuse as well as a bit of sexual manipulation (not to spoil anything) but not quite as dark as I want I suppose. Oh well~

Yeah that's more what I mean. It exists though its more so kind of a tragic element the characters have to overcome from their past rather then being up front. How upbeat and comedic the series can be is what really draws you in and makes those dark moments stand out a lot more. The real focus of Tohru how she kind of brings a positive light to the family despite the fact she is someone who herself has faced tragedy.

Gah.. talkiing about it makes me really want to watch it again... or maybe check out the reboot I never saw.
