Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

"What did you do to Amaya?" Akihime demanded. Sasuke chuckled softly.
"Hopefully dead down in the cell she kept me in." He answered. Akihime shook and slammed him repeatedly into the stone. He dropped and coughed up blood.
"Aw, does that upset you, princess?" He mocked. She fumed and ice formed on her fingers.

Yukimura flinched once more, the light a bit brighter this time; a voice, he could hear a garbled voice, one that was so familiar, yet he couldn't place it. A bit of light flashed in his eyes, but vanished almost instantly.

"Are you ready to die, Sasuke?" She asked. Sasuke scoffed.
"Not just yet." He stated before jumping up and tackling her to the ground, his hands wrapped tight around her throat, "Dana! Run!" He yelled. Akihime coughed and wheezed before the ice grew to sharp points and she jammed them into Sasuke's chest. He gasped, his grip loosening before she threw him off her, the ice breaking off in his chest.

The new light was blindingly bright, another person? It was Sasuke. "Sasuke!!" The spell Akihime seemed to have put over Yukimura was either too weak or was broken by Sasuke. Regardless, he ran passed Akihime and scooped up Sasuke, cradling him in his arms. "Sasuke..!" Tears formed in his eyes.

He shook his head, using his thumb to wipe away some of the blood from Sasuke's face. "I couldn't leave you again." He said, tears falling onto Sasuke's face.

"Yes you are, you're my dearest friend... You grew up with me." He said, giving a sad smile. "You're my family.."

It was getting harder to breath. But Sasuke was trying so hard to stay for Yukimura. "Thanks, dana...that means a lot." He wheezed. "I need you to run. Run and find Daihachi and get the hell out of here. Please." He begged. Akihime's eyes narrowed and she moved her finger slowly, the ice plunging deeper into his chest. Sasuke grunted and groaned in agony, more blood pouring from his mouth.

Yukimura's eyes widened and he looked over his shoulder at Akihime. "Please stop!" He begged, his heart breaking into pieces. He wanted to stop the shards from going deeper, but if he tried to pull them out, it might just kill Sasuke faster.

Akihime rose her hands as if to show she had done nothing wrong. "D-Dana...please..." Sasuke's voice grew hoarse as he struggled to breathe and speak, "Get your son and go..."

Yukimura shook his head, standing while still clutching Sasuke to his chest, carrying him bridal style. "We're leaving together." He said, starting to move toward the door.

"No!!" Akihime shouted and shot a bolt of lightning at Yukimura, causing him to drop Sasuke and fall to his knees, "You aren't leaving me again! I won't lose you, Yukimura!"

Yukimura clutched at his own chest, gasping for breath with a pained expression on his face, it felt like his heart had stopped. He reached out to Sasuke, still gasping as he tried to pull his friend closer.

Hitting the floor as hard as he did was the last thing Sasuke needed. Blood stained the rug slowly, and the weak rise and fall of his chest stopped. Sarutobi Sasuke had been slain.

Yukimura crawled on his hands and knees to Sasuke, carefully gathering up his limp body, and cradling his friend, dead or not.

"I'm so sorry, Yukimura-sama..." She muttered, placing her hand on his shoulder gently, "I didn't mean for this to happen...he attacked me first, I had to defend myself..."

Yukimura shrugged off Akihime's hand, pulling Sasuke closer and burying his face into the rogues neck. His dearest friend and only remaining family was gone.

Akihime frowned and made a noise, casting a stronger spell on him to put him back under her control, "Come back to me, my husband. To ease your heart, you will forget Sarutobi's death. Your gaze is for no one but me." She said, voice hypnotic.

Yukimura's grip slowly loosened from Sasuke, until he slid from his arms and fell to the ground once more. He stood and turned to Akihime, wrapping his arms around her and holding her tightly, dead eyes staring blankly ahead as tears still fell down his cheeks.

She held him and played with his hair gently, "All is well, my husband...you have not sparred in a while, why don't you go train? I have some things to take care of on my own for a bit." She offered, "I'll return to you when I'm done."

He nodded and nuzzled her neck gently, before slowly releasing her, turning, and leaving for the training hall. He stepped over his friends body, not even noticing it as he left the room.

She exhaled before dragging Sasuke's body back down to the cells. She found Amaya and bit her lip. She wasn't dead, thankfully, but she would be out of commission for a while. She put Sasuke in the opposite cell and made a noise. She would have to make this up to Yukimura. She shook her head. What? Make up for Sasuke's death? What was wrong with her? She rubbed her arm. Maybe she could make him into a weapon? Yukimura would like that, right? She left to Hanbei's lab, wondering if there were others like Minehime.

The lab still had many cages full of children, about three dozen or more of them, all one to a cage and lined up along the back wall. Most of the children all had black hair, all except one. A young looking girl with white-silver hair and silver feathers, just like Tachi. She seemed to have more awareness than the others, but her milky white eyes stared passed Akihime as she came closer.
