Megohime scowled at the mention of Osaka, but didn't move from her spot by the window, enjoying the warmth. "What do those bootlickers want with you?" She asked.
A dark scowl crossed her face and she snatched the letter from Masamune, reading it over. "I saw we just cut her head off." She glanced at Masamune. "She's lying."
Megohime thought for a moment before making a noise of irritation. "Fine. If you want to join up with this witch, I have no choice. But if this is a trick, I'll eat her myself." She growled.
She gave a short nod. Within the week they got word that they would travel to Osaka personally, and when the did so, Megohime chose to be in weapon form, strapped to Masamune's hip.
When they arrived, they met with Akihime in her meeting room. "I'm so glad you could join me, Masamune-sama." She greeted. Masamune waved his hand.
"Just show me you have the shard." He demanded. Akihime made a face.
"You don't wish to discuss business first?"
Akihime sighed softly, "Very well." She said before standing and moving to leave briefly. When she came back, Masamune's eye widened. With Akihime stood the shard Minehime, looking tired and lifeless.
"Holy shit." He muttered.
Minehime didn't move an inch, almost as if she was completely under Akihime's control. She was a bit worse for wear, but still alive. "What else does she want for the shard?" Megohime asked.
"All you're asking is for my alliance?" He asked. Akihime smiled and nodded.
"Hai. You will keep Oshuu and your men and generals. All I ask is that you stay here." She said.
"Take-- No, this is up to you.. I'll follow you whatever you choose." Megohime sounded like she wanted to let loose, to take control, but she restrained herself.
Amaya lay on the ground of the prison cells, neck broken and at Sasuke's feet. She had gone to be with him again, but he has caught her by surprise. Her broken neck would heal, but for the mean time, Sasuke had the keys and was free from his cell.
He spat on her before he left, locking her in and making a mad dash to find Yukimura. He needed to get him and Daihachi out of here. But where would they go? Akihime would probably find them. He shook his head. That didn't matter right now, what mattered was getting out with Yukimura and Daihachi alive. He snuck around, slipping passed the guards as he tried looking for Yukimura. Where would she be keeping him? He grunted when he was suddenly slammed into a wall.
"And just where do you think you're going?" Akihime hissed. Sasuke glared hatefully.
"Home, to Kai. Where's dana and Daihachi."
"That's none of your fucking business." Akihime spat and slammed him into the wall again with her magic.
Footsteps sounded from behind Akihime, a figure coming into the light to stand beside her. It was Yukimura, his eyes lifeless and glassy, like his spirit had been ripped from his body. He said nothing, in fact, he didn't even look at Sasuke.
Sasuke's eyes widened when he saw Yukimura. "Dana?" He called softly. Akihime slammed him into the wall again and he coughed up blood.
"Don't look at him, filth." She hissed lowly. Sasuke hissed and glared at her again.
"What have you done to him?"
"Nothing that concerns you."
Yukimura flinched slightly when Sasuke was slammed into the wall again. What was that? Another light in the darkness that clouded his vision. Akihime was the only light he could see, so blindingly bright, but he saw a small spark that wasn't from Akihime, what was it?
