Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Many letters were sent to intercept the Fugaku, but not one reached them. Either the courier was fired at until they retreated, or Nana simply capsized the ship before it got near them; one thing was for certain though. Akihime was trying to speak with Motochika, and he wasn’t letting her get through.

Akihime was getting really annoyed with Motochika's abhorrent behavior, but she was due any time now and Amaya wasn't allowing her to leave Osaka for anything. "Ama, I cannot make him come here and you will not allow me to leave. What am I to do?" She asked, tone irate.

Amaya had taken a knee before Akihime, head bowed to her and a hand across her chest. “Akihime-sama, allow for me to go in your stead, I will make sure the message gets across to him.”

Akihime exhaled and waved her hand, Amaya now resembling Akihime aside from the pregnancy, "Go on, then. Make him understand that he can't get away with breaking deals like this."

“Of course, Akihime-sama.” Amaya sounded exactly like Akihime as well, not a single feature about her revealed her true identity.

Everything was going smoothly on Motochika’s ship, Nana stayed in her pool for the most of the time Motochika was busy, and when he wasn’t, she was always at his side.

Motochika took a deep breath of the sea air. He planned to sail as far from Akihime and Osaka as possible, where she would never be able to reach him. Where that was, he didn't know, but he knew he would know it when he saw it.

“Cap’n!” Ren was on crows nest duty that day. “We got a Toyotomi ship approaching fast!” He called down to the ogre captain. “We can’t outrun ‘er!”

Motochika scowled and looked to Nana. He knew she would capsize the ship in a moment, but he didn't want her to waste the energy. He exhaled and looked up at Ren, "Let 'em board, lad. Raise the flag to signal parley."

Ren looked surprised, but did as he was told, signaling to the other ship they were free to approach and board. Nana moved to rest her elbows on Motochika’s shoulders, a soft scowl on her face as she hovered in the air beside him, waiting to see who it was.

It was Akihime who came aboard, but as far as Motochika knew, she was pregnant when he saw her last. Did she give birth already? "I see you broke our accord, Chosokabe." She said sweetly.
"They kept her at the bottom of the ship in shit condition." Motochika scowled. Akihime smiled sweetly.
"Not my problem."

Most of the crew had gathered around Motochika by the time Akihime had boarded the ship, Ren included. Nana scowled and bore her sharp teeth at Akihime, ears flat against her head.
Ren could hardly hear the words that were being exchanged, face flushed and heart beating in his chest, eyes on Akihime. She was beautiful.

"The deal was you have and keep your human form if she aided Mouri-sama. She is not with him."
"I removed her. She was sick and dying." Motochika growled. Akihime's expression started to drop.
"I told you, that isn't my problem."
"It fucking should be!" Motochika shouted in her face.

Nana gently pet Motochika’s hair, resting her forehead against his head to calm him. ”You dont need to let her get to you, I can send her away.”

"If you're going to return me to my ogre form, do it. I don't care anymore. You are so fickle and childish, I'm amazed no one has made an attempt on your life yet." He snarled. Akihime looked heavily offended by his words.
"You will return to Osaka immediately." She hissed. He bore his tusks at her, glaring.
"Get the fuck off my ship." He growled.

The entire Fugaku rocked, the sea becoming choppy, as if a storm had arrived, but it was only Nana. She was just as angry as Motochika, only a bit more quite about it.
Ren was only jolted out of his daze when the boat started to rock violently, but still, he could only look at Akihime, she didn’t even look real.

Akihime glanced at Ren and she gave a coy wink before lifting her head haughtily. "Fine. I will leave. But you are expected to return soon."
"Not likely." Motochika spat.

Ren’s whole face went red, and he quickly looked away from Akihime, heart racing.
Nana hissed at Akihime, glaring hatred silently as she left Motochika’s ship, every time she feared her head, she caused some sort of strife for Motochika, and she didn’t like it at all.

Nana kissed his temple, then returned to her pools to get her scales wet again, having gotten a bit dried out.

Ren was once again shaken from his trance, saluting to Motochika before scrambling back up to the crows nest, keeping an eye on the waters.

Nana looked up from wetting her hair, blinking before her expression grew serious. ”Are you positive?” She asked

He nodded, keeping his gaze forward, "I told her to turn me back if she was so upset and she didn't lift a finger." He turned to look at her, "We lived on the castle grounds for a long time, we both know if she really wanted to punish someone she would."

Nana looked down at the water, he was right, she wasn’t really one to hold back her temper. ”So, what do you think? Some sort of trap? And by who?” She looked back up at him, frowning softly.
