Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Megohime pursed her lips, frowning more and gripping her chest. She could feel Masamune’s hurt, it took her breath away. “He begged me, Masamune... How could I not do everything in my power to get her fixed..?” She said quietly, her own shame burning in his stomach.

"But to let her touch you?!" His pain was replaced with boiling anger.
"In her defense, I was the one-"
"When I want your opinion, I'll fucking ask for it." Masamune snarled at Akihime, glaring hatefully.

Megohime flinched, turning her head away, fighting tears of embarrassment and shame. She wanted to kill Akihime for bringing such a thing to light, she had no right.

Akihime stood and moved over. "Don't feel so bad, Masamune. Maybe one day you'll actually be able to get her off~" She said. Masamune had had enough. His hand shot out and wrapped tightly around Akihime's throat.
"I said," he hissed as he watched her choke, "when I want your opinion. I'll ask for it."

Two things happened immediately after Masamune grabbed Akihime by the throat: someone dropped down from the rafters, that someone being Amaya, a blade drawn, and ready to sever Masamune’s arm from his body; next, Megohime was Amaya, and quickly reverted to sword form, deflecting Amaya’s blade just enough so all Masamune received was a small cut on his forearm. Everything happened so quickly, to the human eye, one only saw a blur, and then heard the metal clang. ”Masamune, get away from her!” Megohime skittered across the floor in the form of a blade, only to reform in the familiar shape of a dragon, hissing loudly.

Masamune let Akihime go and she gasped loudly, stumbling away and holding her neck. "Arrest him!!" She shrieked, "I never want to see him again!!"

Megohime let out a screech, shooting toward Masamune so quickly, she knocked a few guards over. She stood behind him, puffed up like an angry cat and growling, showing she wouldn’t let anyone near Masamune without a fight.
“Akihime-sama.” Amaya stood and glared at Megohime. “Shall I kill her?”

“Of course.” Amaya nodded, Megohime hissing at the two, and moving closer to Masamune.
”Masamune, we need to go now!” Megohime snapped at a few guard who moved to get closer, slamming a couple other men away with her tail.

Masamune tried to leave with Megohime but their exit was blocked. He scowled heavily, there was no way he was getting out. "Go on, Mego. Get Kojurou here as fast as you can. Don't argue with me."

Megohime snarled and turned to look at Masamune, But in that instant, Masamune's legs were entangled in vines. Megohime’s own legs and tail were wrapped up tight, leaving her trying to bite through them, but her movements began to slow. The temperature in the room had dropped a good forty degrees, making Megohime chitter and groan, her body slowing down on its own. Soon she couldn’t stand, slowly collapsing to her stomach, laying her head down with a groan, eyes fighting to stay open.
Amaya let out a heavy breath, steam coming from her mouth as she lowered the temperature of the room. “Akihime-sama, you should go as well, it isn’t safe for the child in this room anymore.”

"Hai..." Akihime nodded and turned to leave, "Let me know when they are ready." Masamune tried to free himself from the vines but his muscles were stiff and cold.
"L-Let Megohime go." He demanded, teeth chattering together.

Anaya simply stared at Masamune, the air getting colder and colder until his lips began to turn blue, and Megohime lay on the ground unmoving, only small puffs of steam coming from her nose to show she wasn’t dead. Once the two were sufficiently rendered immobile, Amaya signaled for the guards to seize Masamune, ordering him to be thrown in jail, while Megohime was to stay where she was.

The guards were rough, dragging Masamune along until they reached the prison, throwing him into the cell and locking it behind him; only of course, after stripping him of all his weapons.

"D-Dammit..." He muttered, teeth still chattering, "Kojurou will come by in a few days...m-maybe..."

After Megohime was moved and chained up, Akihime approached her, "I'm so sorry about this, Megohime." She said, but didn't seem sincere.

Megohime had been muzzled, weighed down by the heavy metal collar around her neck. She growled lowly, still too cold to really move, but she attempted to do so anyway.

Megohime tried to lunge at Akihime, but was stopped by the chain around her neck and fell to the ground, hissing and growling like an angry cat.

She huffed and tried her best to get back onto her feet, wanting nothing more than to crush Akihime, but she could hardly stand.

Akihime gave a fake smile before leaving, heading off to see Masamune. The One Eyed Dragon was in the far corner of his cell, arms resting on his knees; he didn't look up when Akihime approached. She made a noise.
"In a couple days time, we will begin your punishment." She told him. He said nothing, only glared at the floor. Kojurou would be here by then.

The days dragged by, Masamune receiving decent meals and sufficient water. No sign of Megohime, and no matter how many times he called for her, she didn’t answer.

One afternoon, the dungeon doors opened and Akihime stepped over to his cell. "Ready to go, Masamune?" She asked. He grunted and the guards moved in, shackling him and dragging him behind Akihime as she lead them across the castle grounds. They stopped at the overview of the training area and Masamune's eye widened when he saw Megohime chained to the middle of the ring. "What the hell is this?" He growled. Akihime rose her hand, smirking lightly.
"Your punishment." She answered

Megohime was pulling at the chains that kept her from taking flight, heavy shackles weighing her down, and a thick metal muzzle around her maw. Ice was frosted over a good portion of her body; they must’ve kept her cool so she didn’t chase a fuss. ”Masamune!” Megohime perked when she saw Masamune beside Akihime; but why was she still in a dragon form? Could she not change back?
