She nodded, tears dripping down her face. “I’ll always forgive you Ryuunosuke-sama.” She said, holding onto him.
 
"Come on. Let's go home, ne?" He smiled his usual bright and warm smile as he tilted her head up gently by her chin, "I trust you've kept everything orderly for me?" He said playfully.
 
Megohime’s entire body felt warm, like she had submerged herself in a warm bath after a long day in the cold rain. She felt tears slip down her cheeks even in her state of bliss. “Forgive me my husband.” She frowned, but couldn’t bring herself to pull away from him. “Our home is no longer..”
 
"What? Nonsense, I just saw it, it's fine." What? But she destroyed everything, didn't she? There was nothing left after she was put in the cave.
 
Her heart jumped in her chest and she nodded. Of course it wasn’t destroyed, it couldn’t have been. Her heart swelled with joy, completely overriding the small twinge in the back of her head that told her this was wrong. “Of course, forgive me, my husband.” She said gently, leaning into his hand.
 
Megohime followed without question, a happy daze in her eyes as she left the small clearing, heading away from the Date estate.
 
It didn't even feel very long at all before they were back at the castle. It was just as she remembered it, as if nothing wrong had ever happened. "There, see? I knew you would keep everything perfect, Megohime." He praised.
 
Megohime felt her heart ache at the sight of her home, nodding. “Of course... Always, Ryuunosuke-sama.” She said, squeezing his hand gently.
 
She put a hand over his, leaning into his touch and shaking her head with a smile. “No, I’m fine, perfect actually.” She said softly, a gentle smile on her face.
 
Megohime felt her entire body to flush when he kissed her, heart fluttering as she kissed back, but quickly pulled away, clearly flustered. “Excuse my boldness, my husband.” She muttered.
 
He blinked before chuckling, "It wasn't bold, you're alright." He assured her before taking her hand and kissing it, "Let's head in, hm? I bet everyone will be surprised to see me back."
 
She nodded and smiled widely. “Of course..!” She nodded, pushing open the massive doors before them, and entering their home.
 
He followed in behind her, Matsunaga in tow. His collection was perfect now that he had the Dragon's Claw.

It wasn't like Megohime to be gone this long. Usually once it got dark she would dome home but she didn't. Masamune went out looking for her but couldn't find her. "Where the hell did she go??" He asked himself, scratching his head.
 
There wasn’t a single trace of Megohime, almost like she had simply vanished. Had she gone back to the estate already and he had just simply missed her?
 
He made a noise and headed back, asking around if anyone had seen Megohime. Not a soul knew where she had gone. "What the actual fuck?" He muttered, "Damn, I didn't think me being so busy upset her this much."
 
This wasn’t quite like Megohime, sure she was known to upset easily, but she sure as hell let you know when she was upset. Megohime hadn’t seemed upset when she had left earlier in the day, actually, her mood was rather pleasant.
 
A day and a half went by, and still no sign of Megohime anywhere, maybe Kojurou had seen her? Maybe she had said something to him?
 
Masamune moved to find his retainer, who was sitting outside with Jin and Shigenaga enjoying the nice weather. "Kojurou?" Kojurou looked and moved to bow.
"Is something wrong, Masamune-sama?"
"Have you seen Megohime? She left the other day and hasn't come back yet."
"Left? No, I haven't seen her."
"Jin?" Masamune looked to the elf with an almost pleading gaze, "How about you?"
 
Jin shook her head with a soft frown, cradling a sleeping Shigenaga. “I’m sorry, Masamune-sama, I haven’t seen her for quite some time.” She said, bowing her head apologetically.
 
Masamune exhaled and ran his fingers through his hair, "Kay." He said and looked around, "Well, thanks anyway."
"Did she give any word?" Kojurou asked. Masamune made a face.
"She wanted attention while I was doin' paperwork so I told her to go find something to do til I was done and she kinda just vanished."
