Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

When Motochika returned, Nana left the comfort of her pool and floated over to him. "Any luck?" She asked, the last port they had stopped at had been much smaller, so when Motochika offered, no one showed. She looked much better, physically and mentally.

"Eh, we'll see. Some of them looked like they wanted to leave, but I'm not sure. It's hard working this huge vessel on my own, and I can't ask you to power it. Not after what I saw." He said.

"I can power the Fugaku, one ship is easy, I only have to focus on one thing, but more than that and it's gets hazy.." She rubbed her neck, then shook her head. "Let me help until you find a crew."

She nodded, smiling and leaning forward to kiss his cheek. "I'll let you know when I'm getting tired." She promised, then peeked over his shoulder. "Looks to me like we've got a few takers."

"What?" He looked over and there were in fact a good handful of men approaching the Fugaku. They gawked at the massive ship, "Were in the hell did you get this...?" One asked. Motochika smirked proudly.
"I took it from Mouri Motonari's naval fleet."
"What?!" They looked shocked, "The Mouri Motonari?! The strongest naval strategist in Japan?!"
"The very same." Motochika smirked more, crossing his arms.

Nana stifled her silent laughter with one hand, finding the shock on the men's faces quite funny. Everyone say Mouri as some sort of tyrannous god, but he was only human.
One of the men finally noticed the floating woman behind Motochika, going pale. "Is... Is that a ghost?"

The men looked upon one another, mixed emotions clear on their faces.
"A woman? On a ship?"
"Bad luck it is."
"How is a scrawny girl like that gonna keep this ship going?"
"She ain't got no clothes either!"
The talked amongst themselves, all looking unsure.

"It's alright, Motochika." Nana put a hand on his shoulder gently; the men before Motochika stiffened and quickly looked back toward him, all eyes wide.

"Wife?"
A few of them muttered amongst themselves, two men even left, but the men who remained only nodded and mumbled their agreement.

A few of the men raised their hands, but the most eager looking was a young man with unkempt pink hair and freckles. "Aye sir!" He called.

The young boy straightened up and immediately looked nervous. "Tw-Twenty, cap'n!" He answered quickly. There was no way this kid was twenty.

"No, cap'n!" The kid looked like he wanted to drop right there, avoiding eye contact and shuffling his feet nervously.

His face lit up like a fire and he nodded. "Aye." He said quietly, a few of the men snickering amongst themselves.

"I just turned seventeen a fortnight ago.." He muttered. "But I can work! I've been on a ship my whole life!"

"Many thanks cap'n!" The boy grinned widely, it was lopsided and disarming, he had a good heart.
