Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

"Somethin' like that...?" He repeated, his tone soft, "You'll have to tell me what wild adventure you went on without me in the morning..."

He didn't care. Didn't give a single damn. His hands cupped her cheeks gently and he looked her over. She didn't flinch away, didn't shriek or scream. She didn't fight him. He could cry right then and there.

"I want to hear jokes instead." She muttered, scooting under the blankets with him, quite tired now that she was laying down and warming up. "Lots of them." She mumbled from under the covers.

Jin laughed softly, placing a hand over Kojurou's, smiling up at him with her familiar smile, always so gentle. "Are you alright, my husband? You haven't gotten ill from me, have you?" She reached out to feel his face gently, pressing her hand against his cheek, then his forehead to test his temperature.

He groaned softly, obviously not awake enough for jokes, "What do you call an alligator in a vest...?" He asked softly.

"No, no, nothing like that..." He said, holding her hand, "I just missed you so much...you were gone for days, I was so worried..."

Megohime let out a small grunt from under the covers, her indication of a response close enough to: "I don't know, what?"

Jin shook her head more. "I'm fine, really, I feel wonderful, a bit tired, but good." She said, leaning up to kiss the scar on his cheek. "It's getting late, why don't you head to bed, I'd like to check on Shigenaga."

"An in-vest-igator..." He managed a crack of a smile in such a tired state, proud even now of his horrible jokes.

"Of course, he should be with Kita still.." He told her gently, "I'll get everything ready.." He kissed her forehead gently and squeezed her hand.

Megohime let out a tired laugh from beneath the covers. "That was awful." She muttered.

Jin squeezed his hand back, turning to go find Kita and see her son.
Shigenaga was giving Kita a bit of trouble, refusing to go down for the night, fussing and kicking off his blanket.

"Wasn't it...~?" He grinned, "It was great...~"

"Ooh...Shigenaga, please, it is time to sleep. You are fed and changed..." Kita whimpered. Masamune nor Kojurou gave her this much trouble.

Megohime didn't answer, only steady breathing could be heard from where she was under the covers, had she fallen asleep?

A soft knock came from behind Kita, Jin knocking on the doorframe as to not completely startle Kita. "May I try?"

She nodded and smiled. "Yes, I feel much better, thank you." She moved into the room and motioned to Shigenaga. "May I?" She asked.

"Of course, of course! I think he's been missing you terribly, he won't listen to me anymore.." She said, gently taking the fussy baby and carefully handing him to Jin.

Jin cradled the infant against her chest, rocking him lightly and coping softly. He fussed a bit more, then started to slowly calm down. Jin smiled softly. "There.." She looked up at Kita. "Do you mind if I take him with me for the night?"

"Oh not at all, he should spend time with you now that you're home. I've merely made sure he's fed and clean." She said and bowed respectfully.

"I am most grateful, Kita, truly." She thanked her, bowing her head to her before returning to Kojurou, cooing to Shigenaga softly.

"Giving Kita some trouble, but I think I've got him calmed down." She said, moving over to the bed and sitting down. "Kojurou.." She turned to look at him. "Are you alright? You look ill."

Jin still looked concerned, but nodded, cupping his cheek and resting her forehead against his. "Alright, rest then." She said, carefully laying Shigenaga near the top of the bed, she moved to change out of her day clothes and into night clothing.

Kojurou changed as well, keeping an eye on Shigenaga so he wouldn't crawl off the bed. He did look a little happier though, he didn't seem as tense.

Once out of her day clothes, Jin crawled into bed, moving Shigenaga closer to herself and covering herself with the blankets.

Jin let out a soft breath. "I love you as well, my husband." She said quietly, her fatigue showing on her face.

Jin nodded, eyes already half closed, sighing softly as she rested her head against the pillow, she closed her eyes completely, drifting off to sleep.

Nana sat in her new pool of water, relaxing in the warm morning sun while enjoying the sea breeze. The algae and barnicles had been scrubbed from her scales, and her hair and skin was back to looking normal. The pool Motochika had installed in the deck was constantly pumping teen water through, as for the pool to not get stagnant. For now, they had docked in a port, Motochika in search for a crew fine enough to help run his ship.

The half ogre was terrifying walking through the port in search for men. Even walking into the bar caused it to fall silent. He looked over the crowd with his good eye, arms crossed over his chest. "Alright, listen up," his voice was like thunder, "I'm looking for strong reliable men to help keep my vessel afloat on the vast open sea. If you're bored of your life here and wish to join a strong crew and family, I'll be waiting at the docks." He said and left.
