Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Megohime grew more and more frustrated with every hour that passed, and soon, she was on her way back to the keep, a scowl on her face. What was taking so long?

Megohime stared at Akihime from the doorway, eyes wide. "Is she done?" She asked, clenching the handles on the doors tightly.

"Hm?" Akihime glanced up and wiped the corners of her mouth delicately, "Not much longer, I had to break and eat before I fainted." She replied.

Megohime couldn't argue with that. "And... When she's fixed, she'll go back to normal, right?"

"Will she still remember what happened to her?" She asked, moving closer. "All that bad shit?"

Megohime stared at her, was she lying, or had something else happened? "Alright." She finally said, giving a small nod.

Megohime waited for Akihime in the dining hall, arms crossed over her chest in worry. Hopefully Masamune wasn't yet back from his trip, and hopefully Jin would be ok, just as Akihime said she would be.

It took some time but Akihime finally came out with Jin, "I'm glad to see your illness was easy to cure, Jin-dono, every one has been so worried.." Akihime smiled softly.

Jin still looked quite out of sorts, but she was conscious, and responding verbally. "Thank you.. I don't remember much... Have I been here long?" She sounded dazed, eyes a bit hazy, but that would clear up.

"Only a couple days while I've healed you, you should be all netter now." She assured gently, "Megohime has been very patient with my process. She's ready to take you home."

Jin turned to look at Megohime, who looked a bit shocked, but quickly composed herself. "Ready?"
Jin nodded, then turned to thank Akihime, bowing her head to her. "Thank you very much, Akihime-dono.. I don't know how I can begin to repay you."

Jin nodded, thanking Akihime once more before leaving with Megohime. Megohime allowed Jin to ride upon her back, not wanting to gas Jin again so she could just carry her. It took a bit longer, but they arrived in Oshuu by nightfall, Megohime landing softly on the grass.

Jin thanked Megohime quietly, who only rumbled softly, watching her head inside before taking off once more, moving to Masamune's balcony to see if he had returned yet.

Megohime chittered happily and transformed into her human form, dropping onto the balcony lightly and opening the doors slowly. She peeked in, listening to Masamune's breathing for a moment before moving inside quietly.

A soft knock came at Kojurou's door, the light was still on, light flooding through the crack under the door, so anyone could easily tell he still hadn't gone to sleep.

He stirred lightly when he heard movement and turned, "Mego...? Is that you...?"

"I'm not taking any visitors tonight. Come back tomorrow." Kojurou called, he looked and sounded exhausted. He hadn't heard anything from Megohime since she left and he was growing increasingly worried.

"Yeah.." Megohime sunk into the bed beside Masamune, wrapping her arms around his neck and resting her face against his back.

It was quiet outside of his door before a soft knock came once more, then a voice. "Kojurou-sama.." it sounded like Jin, was she back? Was she fixed already? Was it really her, or was his mind playing tricks on him from so many sleepless nights?

"Where have you been...? Kojurou said Akihime's men upset you somethin' fierce so you left to avoid eating them..." He said groggily. He turned and held her tight, "Told me you just took off without a word..."

He lifted his head and stared at the door, sitting still for a solid minute before standing and opening the door slowly.

Megohime smelled the front of his shirt, having missed the way he smelled, nodding. "Yeah, somethin' like that." She said, resting her head against his chest.

Jin smiled softly up at Kojurou when he opened the door, looking tired herself. "Forgive me, my husband, Akihime-dono says my treatment went well, and my recovery smoothly, that I no longer am ill.." Treatment, illness? Akihime must've done something, changed something or manipulate Jin's mind so she thought she was gone only for an ailing health; she wasn't told of her previous state of mind, or simply didn't remember it.
