Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Yukimura almost struggled to give a small nod, eyes glued ahead of him.

When Tachi had consciousness next, he was sitting in a chair, the feeling of something sharp being pushed through the flesh of his neck over and over. He opened his eyes and looked around slowly, still feeling a bit sluggish from being decapitated.

"Hold still." Sharp nails dug into his scalp as his head was forced still. It was Akihime, and she was stitching his head back on to his neck, "You'll fuck up my stitch work if you move."

Tachi blinked, feeling a bit of nausea at the thought that Akihime was touching him, but it still felt like he had little control over his body, so he allowed her to continue.

"That was very rude what you did. You're lucky Ama wasn't around, you wouldn't revive from the sound thrashing she'd give you." She scolded, like he was a child, "Ishida's too important to my plans, I wouldn't feed him to Megohime. I was proving a point."

Tachi tried to speak, but Yukimura must've destroyed his vocal cords, leaving him temporarily mute. He scowled, but stayed still, wanting nothing more than to hit her again.

((Time to make Mitsunari cry~?))

((Yiss~~))

She finished stitching his head and made a noise, "Good enough.." She said and stood, moving around to face him. She didn't unlash him from the chair however. "You do realize that now it is my turn to punish you for causing me harm, right?"

He scowled deeply, eyes following her as she walked back and forth before him. Punishment? That was laughable, what could she do to him that would be worse than she'd already done?

She looked to the guards and nodded to them before they bowed and left briefly. When they returned, Mitsunari was with them and he scowled. "What is the meaning of this?"
"Have a seat, Ishida." Akihime said gently and he obeyed, sitting in the chair across from Tachi. Akihime moved to the shackles around Tachi's wrists and tugged on a chain. The bindings on his ankles came off and he was pulled to his feet by the irons, dragged toward a wall beside Akihime, his back to Mitsunari.

Tachi grunted softly as he was dragged to his feet, glancing at Akihime with worry in his eyes. What was she going to do to Mitsunari. The door opened again, and Yukimura entered, spears in hand. He moved to stand beside Mitsunari, eyes as dull as ever. A guard moved over to Tachi and Akihime, holding out a knife in one hand, a nasty looking whip in the other.

"Arigatou.." Akihime said gently as she took the knife first before reaching and tugging the back of Tachi's yukata down to his waist to reveal his back. "My, such beautiful feathers you have~ and so many~" She cooed, running her fingers through them slowly.
"Don't you touch them!" Mitsunari hissed but didn't move. Akihime looked to him with a soft scowl.
"I told you to control your chicken, didn't I? This is punishment for you both." She said.

Tachi ground his teeth, pulling at the chains a bit and glancing over his shoulder at Mitsunari. His vocal cords had healed just enough for him to speak, but his voice came out in a mutilated gurgle. "Don't look, Mitsunari!" He snapped, knowing all too well what would happen next.

"Oh no, he has to watch. That's why Yukimura is here. To make sure he witnesses every second." She said, "Now hold very still." She gave the chain to the guard to keep Tachi still as she shaved all his feathers off slowly against the grain with the razor sharp knife. Mitsunari gripped the chair tightly, clenching his jaw as he watched the beautiful feathers drift to the floor in clumps.

Tachi clenched his teeth, fists clenched so tightly his nails dug into his flesh and drew blood. It wasn't painful, the blade was so sharp it just easily sliced through his feathers, but it definitely wasn't comfortable.

Akihime hummed gently as she worked, as if doing this brought her great joy. When every feather was removed, she returned the knife and scooped up every feather before handing them to another guard, "Please give these to my handmaidens and tell them to wait for my return."
"Of course." He bowed and left with the feathers. The guard holding Tachi gave her the wicked looking whip next and she looked it over.
"Now see, I had this made special just for you, chicken~" She purred, "Want to know why~?"

Tachi didn't turn to look at Akihime, forehead pressed to the wall. Even though Akihime had done a smooth enough job of removing his feathers, blood still trickled down his back. He refused to answer Akihime, a scowl set deep in his face.

"I'll tell you anyway~ you seem so keen and eager to disrespect me every opportunity you get. And no matter what I do, unless I have Ama with me, I can't teach you a permanent lesson~ until now." She wrang the whip carefully around her hand, "This whip has shards on it. See?" She danged it in his peripheral vision, "Do you know where I found these shards? In Hanbei-sama's lab~ do you know what that means, my pretty little chicken~?"

Large shards of sharpened metal were woven into the leather, glinting a dangerous light. Tachi knew exactly what the whip was. "So even your wretchedness has tainted Hanbei-sama's lab." He muttered.

She scowled lightly and took a step back before snapping the whip hard against his back, watching the shards rip the skin open. Mitsunari jerked and doubled over, grasping the chair tightly. Akihime looked over and smirked, "Oh that's right~ you share his pain~ how silly of me to forget~"

Tachi clenched his fists tightly, trembling with rage. He glared over his shoulder at Akihime, who was relishing Mitsunari's pain. "Don't..!" He gurgled out.

Tachi felt actual tears form in his eyes, and he looked back to the wall. "P-Please.. Don't hurt him... J-Just don't... Hurt him.." He begged.

"I'm not hurting him. I'm hurting you. The problem is, is that no matter how far away he is from you, he'll feel every lash. Every split like it's his own skin. I'm surprised he didn't faint when your head slid from your shoulders. If you want this to stop, you will swear fealty to me and never disrespect me again. If you don't, I'll keep lashing you. I'll cause him more pain than he'll ever endure in his life." She hissed. Red streaks fell down Mitsunari's cheeks, and for the first time since Hideyoshi's death, he was crying.
"Akihime-sama...please...Tachi has been very stressed. They don't mean to lash out when they do...don't hurt them anymore..." Mitsunari begged quietly. Akihime glanced over at him and smirked behind her sleeve.
"I want to hear him apologize on his own, Ishida...I am not without compassion.."

Tachi ground his teeth together, pulling hard at the chains. "Please! I'm sorry! Forgive me Akihime-sama!" It must've been humiliating for Tachi, but he did it anway, begging and apologizing to Akihime over and over. It wasn't for his own sake, no, he simply did not want Mitsunari to bear witness to what was to come, to allow him to avert his eyes.

"There we go~! See? That wasn't so terrible a thing~ now," She snapped her fingers and the chain was loosened, "I want you on your hands and knees, bowing, and swearing your loyalty to me. I want you to swear to hold your tongue in my presence and show me the respect I command." She ordered dryly, "Do it, or Ishida gets the whip in your place."

Tachi slowly got down on his knees, bowing deeply before Akihime. He refused to look at Mitsunari, or anywhere near him for that fact. Mitsunari felt a great shame in his chest, which had to be Tachi's own feelings. "Please... Akihime-sama... Forgive my insolence..." Tears fell from his eyes onto the floor, fists clenched tight. "I will not speak unless spoken to, for I am but another sword in your armory.."
