Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Nana gave a small nod, a bit of sea weed falling from her hair. She touched the chain that hung from her neck, a silent plea for it to be broken.

She didn't even need to motion that she wanted it off, he gripped the chain tight and pulled it apart like it was taffy. He grabbed the band around her neck and snapped it in half, "Did Mouri do this to you?"

She was able to float once more, the weight of the chains no longer weighing her down; shaking her head, she frowned softly. "Not directly no... But I imagine the order came from him." The fins that ran along her sides looked sad and tattered, covered in a green algae like the rest of her body.

"Well, we'll get you out of here and into a nice clean tub and restore that beauty of yours.." He said gently, "I'm still so sorry for just sending you away like that.."

She gently cupped the sides of his face and shook her head. "All is forgiven." She kissed his forehead gently, embracing him against her chest.

Amaya looked rather displeased with how persistent the Right Eye of the Dragon was being. "As I've said before, Akihime-sama is not taking audiences at this time." She nearly growled out, standing before the retainer. Since the news broke of Akihime's pregnancy, Amaya had increased security, and temporarily cut off audiences with the public, she wouldn't take any chances.

"Please, this is very important. My wife hasn't been herself since she was attacked, she's shut herself inside her mind, she won't respond to anyone, please, I want Akihime-dono to just look at her...!" He pleaded.

"Please remove yourself from the palace grounds before you're forcefully removed." She hissed lowly, didn't this man know when to quit?

"What's going on, Ama?" Akihime appeared from the door, swarmed by guards. Kojurou looked and bowed deeply to her.
"Akihime-dono, please, my wife is very sick, if you would only see her and guide me to her recovery, I would be in your debt." Kojurou said. Akihime made a face.
"You left rather rudely your last visit here, Katakura-sama." She stated flatly before turning to Amaya, "What's the problem?"

Amaya let out a heavy sigh and motioned to the two women standing just behind Kojurou, one Jin and the other one Akihime hadn't seen before. Jin looked strange, still the same, but almost as though her soul was replaced with that of a wild animals.
"He claims our soldiers attacked his wife, and ever since, she's been rendered lame." It wasn't quite how Kojurou put it, but Amaya didn't really care.

"My soldiers? Attack a helpless woman who was recently recovered from a hostage situation? Not likely." Akihime noted and moved to Jin, "I'll have a look anyway."

Jin perked immediately and took a step back from Akihime, hiding behind Kita with a faint whimper.
"Akihime-sama, I'm advising against this." Amaya protested. "You're in no conditions to use your magic so frivolously."

"Pish-posh..." Akihime waved her hand, "I'm just as capable were I not pregnant.."
"Akihime-dono, can you help Jin...?" Kita asked. Akihime looked Jin over, who watched her like a hawk.
"I could..." Akihime mused, "I won't, however." Kojurou felt like his heart had been ripped out of his chest.
"You...won't?" He asked, "Wh-Why?!"
"Repairing a mind is so bothersome. You have to dig in there and piece everything back together,it's tedious, I don't have that kind of time right now." She told him, heading back to the door. Kojurou was so distraught and just at his wit's end that he lost it. He rushed at her, furious beyond belief.
"Kagetsuna, don't!" Kita gasped.

Cold air nearly blasted Kojurou off his feet, a figure appearing between him and Akihime, only none of the guards nor Amaya had moved. A woman sculpted in ice stood before Kojurou, a blade of ice pressed to his throat. "This is the last time I'll warn you, Katakura Kojurou." The ice woman's move moved, but the voice came from Amaya, her icy eyes set on Kojurou like a hawk, fine ice crystals swirling around the woman as well as Amaya, leaving a trail of ice along the ground to connect the two.

"Heal my wife, you heartless she-devil!" Kojurou hissed. Akihime looked back at him, eyes cold and uncaring.
"Remove them from my property, Amaya. Looking at them makes me ill." She ordered before heading inside. Kojurou would have lurched forward if razor sharp ice wasn't at his throat.
"You bitch!"
"Kagetsuna, please, let's just go, she can't do anything.." Kita frowned.

Jin whined softly behind Kita, her grip tightening on her clothes, scared by the loud commotion.
Amaya moved forward, the ice woman not moving an inch. "Please escort Katakura off he palace grounds." Four guards moved over, silently ushering Kojurou as well as Kita toward the door, Jin following Kita like a scared child.

Once they were outside the palace doors, the guards closed them behind the three, leaving them to find their own way to their horses. Jin whined again and eyed Kojurou nervously, but didn't try to flee or lash out.

Kojurou looked to her and frowned. He didn't move toward her, didn't coo or try to comfort her. He looked defeated. Like he didn't see a point to trying to coddle her mind back together.

((Sure!))

Kojurou told Kita to take Jin home, that he would catch up before he moved back to the doors and pounded on them. "Akihime-dono!"
"Oh Gods, he's still here..." Akihime grumbled, hearing Kojurou as she sat with Yukimura, petting his hair gently.

Yukimura was nothing more than a guard dog at this point, his shoulders going stiff at the sound of Kojurou yelling, it made him bare his teeth at the door, but he didn't move away from Akihime, not one inch. His hair had gotten long, much longer, and it was often loose around his shoulders or in a braid or ponytail when Akihime had the time to do so.

"Ssh..." She cooed gently and kissed Yukimura's temple, "He's harmless, beloved..." She looked to her guard and motioned for them to let Kojurou in. The Right Eye moved toward Akihime and nearly dropped to his hands and knees, bowing lowly to her. She rose an eyebrow at him.
"You were very rude to me, Katakura-sama." She stated flatly, "You upset Yukimura's good nature."
"Please forgive me..." Kojurou said softly, "But I'm on my last thread...I have done all I can to help Jin-dono regain herself but she has not. You are the only one I know who can help her."

Yukimura, who once had strong, kind brown eyes now only had wild eyes. He stared down Kojurou then entire time, but was as silent as ever, staying where Akihime left him.

"You left my home rudely after I healed her and then you called me rude names. I don't see why I should help you after that." She told him. Kojurou bowed more.
"Please, I'll do anything." He begged softly. An odd glint flashed in Akihime's eyes before she hid her wicked smile behind her sleeve.
"Anything~?" She asked. Kojurou bit the inside of his lip.
"Hai. Anything."
"I want the Lady Claw." Akihime said firmly. Kojurou shot up, glaring.
"You know I cannot and will not do that!" He snapped.

Yukimura flinched forward when Kojurou snapped at Akihime, fists clenched tightly as he glared death at the Right Eye, jaw set firmly.
