Megohime followed reluctantly, keeping a sharp eye on Akihime as they walked together; well, Megohime walked a few paces behind Akihime, but still close enough.
Megohime stopped as well, looking at Akihime with a serious expression. "That's what I just said, wasn't it? For someone who dabbles in necromancy, it's surprising this bothers you."
"There seem to be plenty of your men in Oshuu." She commented, but turned her head. "But no, I'm not hungry. Masamune-sama held executions less than a month ago."
Megohime found herself a far corner to stand in and remained there, wanting to be as far from Akihime as physically possible.
Yukimura could sense the discomfort and malice coming from Megohime, his eyes glued to her, fists clenched as he glared at her.
"Sshh, my husband..." Akihime soothed, "She's not going to do anything if she wants Jin put back together." The last comment was directed more toward Megohime than it was to soothe her aggitated husband.
"Sometimes...when he wants to...he's been very attached to me lately..." Akihime genuinely frowned as she looked to Yukimura, "I hope my magic didn't hurt him..." She muttered.
Yukimura huffed softly and leaned back against Akihime, still glaring death at Megohime, but he was gentle with Akihime.
"Yeah, no, you fucked him up bad." Megohime snorted.
"Oh, shut up, like you know anything, you've been shut into a cave for thousands of years." Akihime hissed, but the back of her mind tingled with a faint 'what if'.
Megohime kept her end of he deal, staying in the capitol while Akihime worked on repairing Jin's mind. She didn't wander too far from the room she was given, not unless necessary.
