Requiem of Destruction (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

She felt tears burn at her eyes and she shook her head. "You never were a monster, those were only horrid rumors." She pet his hair, frowning softly.

"Hey, now, don't cry..." He said softly, "I was only sayin'..." He tried to dry her eyes as best as he could. "You saw more than myself and others could...and I thank you. It makes me so happy..."

Nana moved closer to Motochika, doing her best to hug him, but it was like trying to embrace an entire mountain. Still, she pressed herself close to him, tears slipping down her face. "There's so much good to see, how could I not?"

He smiled softly and nuzzled against her, "People woukd rather allow their fear to control how they view a man rather than speak to him like you have, love..."

Nana's hair was completely tussled out of place when he nuzzled her, but she didn't mind. She kissed his massive nose and smiled softly.

Nana felt a smal flutter of joy in her chest, closing her eyes and enjoying her moment with him.

((Time to make chaos~? ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ ))

((Yee!))

After a while, Motochika finally decided to see what Akihime wanted. What he thought was a simple briefing was something he never wanted to experience a second time. Akihime returned him to his human form, looking bored and unhappy.
"What...What have you done...?" Motochika gasped. Akihime exhaled and checked her nails.
"I did your wife a favor n return for her services. Now get out of my sight." Akihime huffed. Motochika pushed himself to his feet and stumbled quickly to his and Nana's housing.

As Motochika made his way down towards where he shared housing with Nana, he could hear a mans voice, and upon rounding the corner, he was met with the sight of Nana conversing with a man he had only glimpsed before.
"Akihime has informed me you'll be working under me, good, our naval fleet is lacking- it has been for some time."
Nana only gave a small nod, looking up when she heard someone round the corner. She looked away out of shame, but she was happy to see her husband in a more human form.

Motochika felt her shame and looked between the both of them. "N-Nana...? What...what's going on?" His appearance had changed drastically; large horns curved out of his forehead to the back of his head, tusks jutting out of his jaw and sitting snugly against his upper lip.

He could feel her shame grow more, all of her guilt was tied off with sadness. "I must go for a while, my husband... But I'll return, I promise." She couldn't stand to look at him.
Mouri scowled softly and looked to Motochika, frowning more. "Ah, General Chosokabe, I hardly recognized you. Lady Chosokabe shall be assisting the Naval fleet from now on, please excuse us." He said, but it had no kindness behind it at all.

"She is going no where." Motochika said firmly, "She isn't helping any fleet, she's staying here. With her husband." His slow growing fury started to overpower the guilt he felt from Nana, "I'm sorry you came all this way for nothing, Motonari."

The Royal Elf scowled and put his hands into his sleeves. "I did not force this woman into servitude."
"Motochika... I have to do this, I'm sorry.." Nana frowned softly looking to Motochika.

"Is this the favor for Akihime in payment for this new form?" Motochika was shaking, torn between his unbridled fury and the heart wrenching betrayal he felt. He looked away, glaring at the ground, "Take her then."

Nana felt her heart break into little pieces, Motochika could feel it as well. Nana turned away, hiding her tears as she left quickly for the harbor, but no matter how much distance she put between herself and Motochika, their feelings would still burn fresh on one another's hearts.

Motochika waited for Motonari to leave before he began destroying everything; screaming and cursing until his voice hurt. He stopped and dropped beside the bed, letting angry tears fall down his cheeks.

Weeks went by and all Motochika could feel from Nana was a deep ache in his own chest, not once did it fade, but she was still alive and from what he could tell, unharmed.

Motochika was given new armor to fit his role as Akihime's general; it was a deep purple like the rest of her army with indigo highlights for Motochika's colors. On the back of the armor was Akihime's crest - which was a moth (to "honor Yoshitsugu" as she said) resting behind a tiger lily - and on the left shoulder guard was Motochika's crest. He felt strange in this armor, like he was wearing a mask and pretending to be someone else.
As he did what Akihime asked of him, he only hoped Nana was doing well. He felt awful for just sending her away like that. What kind of husband was he to treat his wife so poorly?

Many of his tasks, as to he expected never truly brought him close to Nana, and she never tried to contact him either. It was silent and lonely, but no longer did people cower in fear as he walked by - sure they still stared at his odd appearance, but no one fled in fear at the sight of him. Was this what Nana had traded her freedom for? This simple pleasure?

The feeling was bitter and left a sour taste in his mouth. He didn't enjoy this at all, he didn't like this form, or at least how he obtained it. He wanted to make amends to Nana, so he approached Akihime while she was available; sitting on her throne cooing at Yukimura as he stood at her side. She looked when she saw Motochika and cleared her throat, "Yes, Motochika?"
"I want to see Nana." He said firmly. Akihime blinked and sat back.
"That'll be difficult. I know not where Mouri-sama is." She told him.

Everyday, every hour that passed, the feeling of overwhelming sadness and exhaustion weighed heavily in Motochika's chest. A few times he found himself crying, but all signs point to Nana being the first one to be spilling tears.
Akihime didn't know where Mouri was? Impossible, she knew where everyone was at every time, she had to be lying.

"Where can I begin looking for him then?" Motochika asked through his teeth. Akihime made a noise, rubbing her chin.
"I would start looking in the Chugoku Sea. That's where I last heard he was located." She replied. Motochika left without another word and Akihime giggled behind her sleeve.

Pain ached in every bone, his skin felt tight and dry, his joints where stiff, like he'd been laying in a cold cave for days. Nana was still alive, but she wasn't responding to him, maybe he needed to be closer? Maybe she was angry at him and was ignoring him?

He took one of the smaller traveling boats, following where his heart tugged him. "Nana? Love, can you hear me...?" He frowned softly, "Please let me know you're well...every thing hurts..."

The only thing that Motochika got in return of his question was the sound of waves lapping at the side of a boat, chains, and the dank smell of the under cargo. It was only brief flashes of information though, and still no response.
