Shion trudged ahead in the early morning heat, her armor clinking with every step, eyes scanning the forest around her for the elusive Sinner known as Senji. She had been on his trail for weeks and finally was catching up with him; it was her job to take him back to the Order, prefered alive but dead also worked.
The soft sound of a twig snapping sounded from behind Senji, a figure standing two strides away from the crouching man. "Don't move." The armored figure growled, blood coming from the named palm of her hand, forming into a thick tendril.
Senji sat still for a moment before turning quickly, dragging a thorned vine he had wrapped around his finger across his arm; a long bloody blade shooting from the wound as he rushed at her and slashed.
Shion moved back as fast as she could, allowing her blood to liquify before splattering it at Senji, grinding her teeth as she brought out more blood to block his blade.
Shion frowned softly, being driven back as she continued to block his attacks, seeming hesitant on going all out on him. Dropping into a crouch she lunged forward to slam her fist into his stomach, grinding her teeth as his blades sliced into her shoulder and cheek.
Shion felt a bolt of dread shoot through her body and she writhed beneath him; trying to elbow him in the head. "Get off!" She snarled, fear surfacing in her voice as she struggled against him.
Shion brought her fist up into his nose hard, feeling it crack against her armored fist as she tried to throw him off, managing to flip onto her belly and wriggle a bit out from under him.
She stumbled quickly to her feet and spun to face him, bringing out her Branch of Sin again, striking at him with the acid tendril; the iron collar around her neck exposed to show the stamp mark of a Sinner on the side, the Royal army's insignia on the other side.
Senji moved out of the way and kicked her hard in the side, it being a little easier with her chestplate gone, "How many of you do I have to kill before you get the point that I want to be left alone!?"
Shion wheezed hard as the wind was knocked out of her and she was slammed into the trunk of a large tree. Sliding down the the ground she held her side and grimaced in pain. "If you don't want to get caught then take your damn life.." She growled out bitterly, struggling to get to her feet.
Shion charged again and threw an uppercut with her left arm, bringing her Branch up with her arm and liquifying the blood so it was sent spattering across his chest as she delivered the blow, some of her blood dripping onto her own arm and burning her flesh.
Shion took chase after him, summoning up one more tendril, but it was small. She was already starting to feel woozy and if she slung around anymore blood, she'd pass out.
Shion didn't wait for him to finish soaking off, leaping onto his back and wrapping her legs around his waist and her arm around his neck, she squeezed hard, trying to squeeze the consciousness from him.
