Irohahime hiccuped a few more times, nodding her head in agreement. The hatchlings tough outer exterior sure melted away fast once she was caught red-handed, showing that she was just like any other babe.
"Um..." He looked through his food before grabbing some rice and starting to cook it. It took a bit, but after a while, he had made cute little riceballs that looked like various small woodland creatures, "Ta da!" He seemed quite proud of himself.
When the youngling saw the kitsunes creations, she sniffled and wiped away the last of her tears before gently picking one up and marveling over it. She smiled and took a bite, munching on the treat happily.
Through a mouthful of rice and sharp teeth, the girl answered. "Irohahime desu." Using her sleeve to wipe away a few rice grains, she looked up at Sasuke. "Are you friends with Kojurou?"
"Kojurou is really good at doing my hair!" She chirped, running a clawed hand over her neat hair. "He's really nice and he's good at reading!" She smiled widely, cheeks flushed as she relayed information on her caretaker.
"Who's that?" Irohahime looked up at Sasuke, blinking in confusion. She had never heard of this Dokuganryuu before, was he someone like Kojurou, or was he a human?
Sasuke paled slightly. How could she not know who Masamune was? Didn't she live with Kojurou in the mountains? "When was the last time you saw Katakura-dono?"
Irohahime nibbled on her pinkie nervously. "This morning." She murmured, lowering her head, feeling as though she had done something wrong. "Am I in trouble?"
Sasuke looked confused. He shook his head, "No, you're fine. Here," He pulled a leaf from his sleeve and in a poof of smoke it had transformed into a small rabbit plush doll, "Why don't you play with him so you aren't bored?"
Irohahime eventually tired herself out, and she moved over to the fire to curl up and rest, remaining in a humanoid form even in sleep. Small puffs of smoke billowed from her mouth, which hung wide open as she lay sprawled out on her back.
