Kidnapped to Zendac (DareToDream and TheDuchess)

Watched him and nodded taking both plates into the kitchen and cleaned them quickly setting them out to dry before coming back over to him sitting down indian style and placing her wrists on her knees letting her hands hang, she breathed softly trying to calm herself down not knowing what to expect from this, she hoped he could explain it to her rather easily otherwise she was in for a surprise.

He watched her get settled on the couch, shaking his head at that funky Indian style again. Even though he could do that now, with her help, it still didn’t look comfortable. When she was breathing softly, he nodded. “Ok, the first step is to harness your magic. I want you to close your eyes and look inward. Find your little ball of blue magic and concentrate on it. Get lost in its swirl. Feel it vibrating inside you. When you feel like your thoughts are in sync with the swirling ball, hold out your hand and imagine a tiny flame in it. Don’t imagine burning yourself or you will. I’m right here so if something happens, I’ll stop it. Do it now.” He sat and watched her, waiting for her to attempt it.

She looked at him and nodded before closing her eyes slowly and calmed herself down, not sure as to how to do this, but she tried to concentrate on the humming sound that was constantly in her ears, she breathed deeply and saw the blue energy that was inside her, she saw the red light surrounding it keeping it in check but it was just waiting to burst out, shooting jets of light against the red barrier, she breathed and opened her hand gently and a small ball of fire swirled and spun around slowly, before it started to lightly jet strings of fire out, but it didn't get far till it settled then another spouted out and another, it was quite beautiful but not dangerous , on went through him but didn't burn him, it was actually a cool feeling when it touched him, kind of like a gentle cold caress.

He watched her close her eyes and calm herself. He was able to monitor her progress due to their magical connection and he saw when she pulled the magic from her and created the ball of fire. He watched, fascinated, as she spun it around and around, sending little jets of flame shooting off. Many of those jets shot to him and when they did, he felt a tickle as the magic was absorbed into him. That caused him to smile. “Very good Susan. You’re getting the hang of this. Now see if you can take the ball and send it outward.” He glanced around, finding a vase on a table a little ways away. “There is a vase about 10 feet to your left. See if you can make your ball travel to it. Don’t worry about hurting it – I’ve shielded it. I just want to see if you can project the ball outward under your control.” He knew if she could master movement of her magic she’d pick the rest up quickly enough.

She stayed silent and moved the ball up from her hand easily and with out knowing it she started to make go round and round faster and faster till it shot out right past the vase bounced off the wall making a small mark, and bounced off the walls in the hallway till it shot back into the living room, she opened her eyes just as it was going towards the window, she watched it disappear, she breathed softly and looked at him " oh my..."

He watched her raise the ball of fire off her palm and leaned forward, watching her control it with his inner sight. She was feeding her magic to it, doing fine, when all of sudden she lost control. He realized she was feeding magic too fast. “You’re….” he started to say but before he could finish his sentence, the ball of flame began to go faster and faster and faster and then suddenly shot across the room. His eyes followed it, ready to squelch it if it burned anything badly but not stopping it; he knew the longer the magic went wrong, the better she’d be able to study what happened and learn from it. He noted the mark on the wall with a quirk of his lips and almost doubled over laughing as it bounced up and down the hallway before coming back into the living room. By the time she had opened her eyes and said “oh my…” he was composed, a serious look on his face. He studied her for a second and then smiled. “For your first time controlling the movement of magic, you did remarkably well Susan.” He reached out and took her hand in his, lightly stroking it. “Much better than I expected. Now, let’s try it again but before you start, think about what you were thinking about when the magic got away from you. Looking inside and see if you can find the moment when it happened.” He sat back to wait.

She looked at him and frowned slightly hearing that she didn't do well the first time, she always strived to well the first time but, not with this tho, she let him hold her hand and gently pulled it back holding it out the same way, she breathed deeply then relaxed doing the same thing as before but hung onto what thought she had in her mind, she tried to control it and did the same thing making it spin fast before it shot again but didn't do far, it stopped right above the vase and hung there for a minute, she started to breath a little shallower she gasped and the ball disappeared from sight and she fell forward her head in his lap, she seemed to of drained herself enough to pass out in his lap.

He watched her regroup and hold her hand out again and he smiled, nodding encouragement. Magic was a tricky thing, completely at the whim of one’s thoughts, and mastering it would take time and concentration. The flame lit again, then began to spin faster and faster but….more controlled this time. When it shot off, she stopped it from hitting the vase and he cheered inside. She’d done it! Her aim was true and her concentration solid. He was watching the flame, loving the strength she used to hold it in place, when he heard her gasp. Next thing he knew, a dead weight landed in his lap, making him jump. He watched the flame blink out then glanced down. What he saw brought wicked thoughts to his mind immediately and that caused a chain reaction as he felt flames spread across his cheeks instantly, his blush burning brighter and brighter. Her head was smack dab in the middle of his lap in a very compromising position and she was out cold. He brushed her hair off her face, making sure she was still with him then slowly lifted her off his lap. He didn’t know what her reaction would be if she woke up and saw where her head was but he could imagine. Quietly picking her up, he laid her on the couch and knelt down near her head. He placed a hand on her forehead and the other on her arm and closed his eyes, sending a surge of magic into her. That would help her recover quickly so they could continue.

She breathed softly and blinked her eyes open and turning her head to him feeling herself getting stronger at least, but it made her a bit dizzy , "mmmm what happened" she asked and turned her bright eyes up at him studying his face and rubbing her eyes gently and sitting up slightly on her elbows and taking deep calming breaths.

He watched her slowly wake up and poured a little more magic into her. A smile graced his face when he saw her studying him, her eyes drawing him in like always. As she sat up on her elbows, he moved back a little. “You passed out” he said as he studied her, making sure she was breathing ok and that her color was good. “Using magic tires you out and this was your first time. It happens.” He shrugged. “I’ve used my magic to wake you up and give you strength back. I want to continue your lessons.” He waited for her to sit up and walked her through it again. By the time she’d tried it 10 times, she could control the flame pretty well and, with the help of his magic, hadn’t passed out again. They moved on to shielding next, which was a little harder but she slowly got the hang of it. Five hours, and a few breaks, later he finally sat back, satisfied that she had basic control over her magic and could shield herself adequately. It would take her time to build up endurance without his help but for now, she was ok. “Ok, I think we’re done” he said as he stood and stretched. Though he hadn’t been practicing himself, he was still a little tired. He held his hand out to her. “Would you like to take a walk outside? You’ll have to put your shield in place and hold it – we don’t want any more demons knowing about your magic until you can control it better.”

She breathed softly and looked out the window before nodding and getting up" let me at least get dressed" she said motioning to her pj's and blushed while looking up at him, she smiled and moved around him heading for her room and changing into pants and a basic green shirt that was form fitting and really showed her figure , she pulled a pair of shoes on and walked out pulling her hair up in a loose pony tail letting the curls cascade down her neck, she brushed back her stray hairs and nodded " alright im ready" she said walking back over to him and moving her hand into his gently while looking up at him.

He smiled at her light blush, finding it delightful, and nodded. “I need to do the same” he said, motioning to his shirtless chest. He headed to his room and threw on a tee-shirt he’d picked up on earth – a winter scene involving a wolf – and a pair of jeans then headed back out. When she walked out, he drank her beauty in, smiling at her. As she took his hand, he gently squeezed it back. “You look lovely” he murmured. He watched her for a few more seconds, then bent down and kissed her gently on the cheek. “Everyone will be jealous of me” he said, winking. “Now, put your shield up and we’ll go for a stroll.”

She stood there while he was away and gazed around at her new home, it all happened so fast she hadn't had a chance to calm down and relax she smiled and then looked down at his shirt and frowned slightly pointing at it, " where did you get that? and can i burn it??" as asked looking up at him " thank you but those shirts went out of style a long time ago" she didn't want to hurt his feelings but it was true.

Alexan grinned at her comments. “Nope, you can’t burn it. I love it and I don’t care if its out of style. Besides, I got it from Earth and it reminds me of you. Wolves are beautiful and have great strength of will and spirit – like you. So I’m keeping it.” He squeezed her hand some more. “Besides, no one on Zendac will care what I look like – they’ll all be looking at you when we walk and will be jealous of me. Speaking of which, if you’re ready, we should get going.” He was looking forward to showing her some of Zendac. He thought he’d start with the city, showing her some of the unique buildings that existed and the great city center park and fountain.

Looked up at him and smiled before nodding and pulling up her shield, it was stronger because she had his hands, she opened her eyes and smiled at him before leading him outside and breathing in the air and smiling looking back at him, she loved being outside and the fact that she couldn't go outside had killed her inside "where to first?"

He felt her shield flare to life and smiled, nodding his head slightly. It was good and strong and would protect her against unwanted attentions. He followed her outside, glad to finally be able to show her Zendac. “I thought I’d show you the city first. We have some really unique architecture that always amazes me and in the center of the city there is a wonderful little park with a stunning fountain.” He took her hand and began to stroll, quickly moving away from the house and into the city streets. As expected, demons out and about took notice of them but none made any move that he would deem a threat. Soon they were coming up on the first building he wanted to show her – a unique dome like building with wavy balconies and an all glass front.

She walked with him keeping her hand in his as to help her with keep her barrier shield, she gazed around the town and smiled at being outside and walking, she was light on her feet and walked fast, she was used to this and was glad to finally be able to stretch her legs, she ignored the prying eyes and gazed at the dome in aw, she loved things like this and was glad he was showing them to her.

It felt good to be outside, to feel the sun beat down on him, and to get some exercise. It felt even better knowing that Susan was with him. As they looked at the building, he squeezed her hand gently. “This one was built about 5 years ago by a very creative architect. I know you have things like this on Earth but on Zendac it’s a rarity. Our buildings are normally really blocky. Come on, I can’t wait to show you the next one.” They continued walking, him pointing out little things here and there for her to see. Finally, they reached another building, this one rather tall. But its height wasn’t made it stand out. No, that was the designs all over the walls of the building. Swirls, stars, pentagrams, knot-like squiggles. You name it and it was there. “I’m not sure what the architect was thinking when he built this one” he said “but I find it fascinates me to no end. I thought you might like the creative designs.”

She smiled and did stare in absolute awe at the building and smiled looking at the creative works all over the building most would see it as just a cool building but she saw it as a work of art, something that shouldn't be touched but just left to bask in its own glory, she looked at him and smiled " what about gardens?" she asked looking up at him and moving her hand from his and wrapped her arm around his gently and pulled herself closer to him leaning her head against his shoulder glad that he was taller than her.

He watched her study the building and when she smiled, he knew she’d liked this one also. He thought she would, figured it might call to her creative spirit. Many demons considered this building rather “loud” and boring but he’d always appreciated the creativity that had gone into its design and he found that when he walked into the city, he often visited it. His head cocked to the side when she asked about gardens and he grinned. “We have a beautiful Botanical Gardens near the city center that you’d absolutely love” he said, watching as she laced her arm in his and rested her head on his shoulder. He glanced up at the placement of the sun in the sky, noting the approximate time. “We’ll have more time in the gardens if we teleport closer to them. Hang on.” He concentrated then and a reddish blue haze rose up around them. They reappeared in another part of the city and stood before a very green building. Not green because of its paint color though. No, it was green because of all the vines that grew all over its walls and roof, covering every square inch of it. Flowers bloomed on the vines here and there, giving the building the look of a living creature. He found the view extremely relaxing and thought it was a fabulous way to introduce visitors to the garden. “Ready?” he inquired, excited to show her around.

She smiled when they landed, letting her eyes scan over the beautiful building, she tilted her head and stayed silent for a moment before speaking softly " this is beautiful, lets go " she let him lead the way continuing to scan the area as they moved, gardens and wildlife always inspired her and her artworks, she gazed at the different looking flowers and plants and of course she would stop and get to the right level to snap a picture or two of a few things, she grinned and looked at him before seeing the sun set " its awfully late."

He watched her as she studied the building, hoping it pleased her as much as it did him. He’d often considered doing something like this to his own home, letting nature use it as a jungle gym. He never seemed to get around to it but maybe now that she was here, he’d talk to her about it. They moved through the gardens, looking at everything, drowning in the beauty that they saw. He smiled every time she took a picture, knowing that she’d use them to paint the things that caught her eye. When she finally stopped and looked up, noting the placement of the sun, he nodded. “Yes, we should go” he said as he took her hand. Instantly the reddish blue haze enveloped them and they were gone from the gardens. What happened next was almost unheard of but it happened all the same. Instead of appearing in their yard, they instead appeared in what appeared to be a remote part of the city, thrown violently from the teleport to crash into the ground. Alexan lost his grip on Susan when they hit, spinning off in a different direction, the ground and dirt pummeling him. He somersaulted end over end until he came to a stop against the side of a building, the concussion almost knocking him out. Shaking off the pain, he glanced up and saw Susan sprawled on the ground away from him. Fear took hold of him immediately and he moved to her side as quickly as he could, his body screaming in protest. Ribs were clearly broken and probably more too but he ignored it all to reach her side. He knelt down, his hands pushing the hair out of her face. “Susan” he murmured. “Are you ok?” He could tell she was hurt too but didn’t know how badly. While he waited for her response, he sent his magic outward, trying to figure what happened. What he found scared him badly.

She rolled a couple times before stopping on the ground, when she hit the ground it hit her head in a certain way that sent her into darkness, she was still breathing but not responding to him at all, her arm was bent in an awkward position making it look like it was broken but everything seemed to be fine on her except when blood started to slowly run she had hit her head on a rock and was now bleeding out coating her hair in the red liquid she groaned softly but didn't do anything else after that.

When his magic came back with an “all clear” feeling, he relaxed a little. Until he saw the blood flowing out and pooling around her head. His heart started pounding as fear spiked through him but he calmed a little when he heard her groan. She was out cold, and the blood clearly indicated an injury, so first things first. He placed his hands on her head, delicately feeling around the edges and the back, stopping when he felt the gash. It wasn’t huge but felt nasty all the same so he closed his eyes and concentrated, sending his magic down his arms and out through his fingers, pouring it into the wound. Soon he felt the skin knitting together, slowly but surely, and he continued to pour magic into her. That’s when he felt the shimmer on the air, his skin prickling and sparkling with the incoming magic. Somewhere in his brain, he managed to split off his magic, using a piece of it to shield them against whatever was coming and another part to continue healing her, but it was taking its toll, his energy draining quicker than normal. When the boom sounded, he jerked up, his eyes widening as a demon appeared suddenly, energy crackling off him in waves. Alexan groaned. Another level 2 but this one stronger than the last.

She breathed softly and opened her eyes moving her good arm up placing it on his arm gently she had no idea of the lvl two that was standing there but soon felt the spiking magic around him, she started sharing magic with him giving him back what she could before wincing when she tried to move her bad arm, she sat up moving her head next to his before turning her head slightly to look back at the demon, she kept her own shield up hoping he would detect her own magic that she was giving him with each touch she also didn't sat anything as she stared wondering what it was this time.
