The End Has Arrived (1x1 with DarkMudkip)

Nieve let to of Szayel, her cheeks flushed with excitement. "I'm so excited." She said, fiddling with the cover of her book.

"Me too~" Szayel smiled

"Ne, can Nieve's other friends visit?" Nieve asked, still smiling happily.

Szayel frowned softly, "Not for a while, darling..."

Nieve frowned as well. "How come, Szayel-sama?" She asked softly.

"They have to recover from surgery." He answered, hoping it would be answer enough for her

"Oh..!" Nieve perked again, smiling. "Nieve understands!" She said cheerfully. "When she visits friends though, she'll bake for them!"

Szayel smiled and pet her head, "I bet they would love that."

After getting checked out by Kairi and given the okay, Kohaku set out with Tesla to start his training.

Tesla took Kohaku a little ways out of town, turning to him, "Ready to begin?"

Kohaku nodded, shrugging off his pack and tossing it aside in the sand.

 

[DarkMudkip]

"Now, this may be a little difficult for me since you don't have a zanpakutou, but I'll make it work." He said and took a stance, "First, we'll do a warm up spar. Attack."

 

[Jikkah]

Kohaku nodded and took a stance as well, sliding his foot forward in the sand before suddenly surging forward, aiming a jab at Tesla's ribs.

Tesla blocked and slashed Kohaku's sword to the side harmlessly

Kohaku scowled softly and flipped backwards, foot catching Tesla's chin as he did, hoping it'd give him enough time to retrieve his sword.

Tesla stumbled back and groaned, taking a moment to rub his chin, "Shimatta..."

 

[Jikkah]

Kohaku had retrieved his sword, but stopped when he saw Tesla had stopped. "Sorry." He mouthed.

Tesla shook his head, "No, that was a well thought-out attack!" He praised. He took his stance again, "Again!"

 

[Jikkah]

Kohaku nodded and attacked again, jabbing high with his blade before sweeping low with his foot.

 

[DarkMudkip]

Tesla dodged with a sonido and reappeared behind Kohaku, hitting him in the back of his knees and knocking him down

 

[Jikkah]

Kohaku grunted and jumped back to his feet, spinning to face Tesla, bringing his elbow up to smash it into his nose.

 

[DarkMudkip]

Tesla caught his arm and flipped him onto his back, "Good form."

 

[Jikkah]

Kohaku grunted in pain, wincing slightly and getting back on his feet, attacking Tesla again.
