Tesla took the horse and climbed on, helping Kairi on in front of him before kicking it into a gallop and riding back to town

Kairi sighed softly, closing her eyes tiredly. "Well, we were lucky they came along."

"Yeah, we were..." Tesla replied, holding her against him

Kairi leaned her head back against Tesla's chest.

Tesla kissed her cheek, "I care deeply for you, Kairi..." He said softly, "And no one will make me stop wanting to be with you.."

Kairi smiled and took his hand, nuzzling it gently. "As do I." She said. "I love you, Tesla."

"And I, you..." Tesla kissed her cheek, smiling softly

Kairi leaned up and kissed him gently, smiling contently.

She held onto the horn of the saddle so she wouldn't fall, making a soft noise.

Tesla pulled away when he realized he was making the horse turn and he corrected it, laughing softly

Kairi laughed, covering her mouth with her hand, smiling softly.

Tesla smiled softly and kept the horse forward, "So, on a scale of Menos Grande to Vasto Lorde, how mad do you think Kohaku is going to be?"

Kairi couldn't help but laugh a little at the comparison. "Probably Vasto Lorde."

"Hope you don't mind if I rough him up a little." Of course, he was joking; he would never cause Kohaku harm, even if Kohaku deserved it.

"That's probably what he needs." Kairi joked back, keeping her eyes on the horizon, searching for the town.

Vee had the day off and had time to kill before Kasumi would come to meet up with her. She walked down the street in her fine kimono, one long enough to hide the chains around her ankles as she headed to the stables on the edge of town. She had recently discovered horses and she found them very odd.

in the distance, someone followed her; far enough to not be noticed but close enough so he could keep his sights on her.

Vee left the town and traveled five minutes to the west, coming to the stables where horses were sold and bought, or simply there, abandoned by their masters. She approached the fence and reached up to a large dappled horse, stroking it's nose, not even noticing the person who followed her.

Vee blinked when the horse jerked away and bolted, making her frown quizzically, turning to see if someone or something had startled the horse.
