Masashi frowned softly and put his glasses back on, "Still..."

"I know... I'm sorry, Masa... If I could give you my eyes, I would." She said.

"You deserve to see more than I do..." He said. He nudged her, smiling softly, "We're quite the pair."

"You have every right to see as much as I do, and hell yeah we do." She smiled, nudging him back.

Masashi laughed softly and drank his soda

Koishi poked at her lunch, not all that hungry, fishing a piece of gum out of her bag and popping it into her mouth.

Masashi closed the lid on his bento and put it away, finishing off his soda

Koishi closed her bento and slipped it into her pack, hoping that Masashi didn't notice that she didn't even have a bite.

Masashi rested his head against her shoulder and sighed, "I wish we were normal. That way no one would pick on us..."

Koishi leaned her head against his. "I think you're pretty normal, Masa." She said.

He smiled softly, "I think you're normal, too...ok, I'll rephrase: I wish we were normal to other people..."

"Yeah, that'd be awesome." She said, tracing small circles with her thumb on his hand.

"Hey, Koko...? Since people kinda hate us...I want you to know that, even though I can't see...I think you're really pretty..." He muttered

Koishi blushed and murmured a thank you, continuing to make small circles on his hand.

"What are you doing with my hand, anyway?" Masashi asked softly

Koishi blinked, realizing what she was doing and quickly pulling her hand away. "Sorry."

"No, it's ok! I didn't mind! I-I was just wondering..." He muttered

"I dunno... I was just.." She shrugged. "Sorry." She muttered again.

"Koko, it's ok...!" Masashi frowned, "I shouldn't have asked..."

Koishi opened her mouth to say something, but the bell buzzed and cut her off, lunch was over. "Let's go, only a few more classes and we can go home." She said, standing up and taking his hand.

Masashi held her hand and nodded, "Hai." He answered, "I can't wait to get out of here.."

"It's just today, then the rest of the year and next year." She joked, heading toward the door with him.

"Urusai..." Masashi grumbled, almost pouting

Koishi smirked and stuck her tongue out at him, even though he couldn't see. "Urusai~" She teased.

Masashi snorted and held her hand tighter as they moved down the stairs
