Koishi ate her ice cream happily, swinging her and Shizuo's hand.

"So, how's Mika and her kid?" He asked, "You were with them earlier, weren't you?"

 

[Jikkah]

Koishi nibbled on a gummy bear, looking at the shadows on the ground. "They're fine." She said quietly.

 

[DarkMudkip]

"What happened?" Shizuo asked her, "Did Mika freak out over Minizaya?"

 

[Jikkah]

"Masa fell off of a swing cuzza me." She said quietly.

 

[DarkMudkip]

"What do you mean, cuzza you?" He asked

 

[Jikkah]

"I wanted to swing and Masa didn't cuz he was scared, but he did it anyway and I promised I wouldn't let him fall off, but I did and he hurt his head." She explained.

 

[DarkMudkip]

Shizuo made a face, "You know, kiddo, he's gonna be fine. He's built like his idiot father, nothing can hurt him."

 

[Jikkah]

"But he had to go to the hospital.." Koishi said, squishing a gummy beat between her fingers.

 

[DarkMudkip]

"He'll be fine." Shizuo rubbed her head, "Watch, Mika will call you tomorrow for another playdate and he'll be as good as new."

Koishi leaned her head against Shizuo's arm, eating another gummy bear. "What if he's mad at me?"

 

[DarkMudkip]

"Not possible." Shizuo said, "Its not allowed. It is illegal for anyone to be mad at you, kiddo."

Koishi looked up at her dad withy wide eyes. "What? Really..!?" She asked, almost wiggling with joy.

"I made it a law in 'Kebukurou: No one is allowed to be angry at or with Heiwajima Koishi." He said, matter-of-factly

 

[Jikkah]

"Arigatou! That's so cool!" She grinned brightly, bouncing on the balls of her feet and finishing her ice cream.

Shizuo smirked slightly and pet her head, getting her home, "You're welcome. So, don't worry about Minizaya...his mom will take good care of him."

Koishi nodded and wiped her mouth on her sleeves, still wide awake. "Are you gonna come with me on the play date?"

"If you want me to. I totally will." He answered

 

[Jikkah]

"You should..! You and Uncle Izaya can play again!" Koishi said. "And you can kick his butt!"

"I would love to." Shizuo smirked darkly

Koishi smiled happily and beamed up at her dad. "Thanks for the ice cream." She whispered, giggling at the secret mission the just completed.

Shizuo smirked and gave a thumbs up, "No problem." He replied

"Can I stay up late?" Koishi asked, giving him the Bambi eyes.

Shizuo made a noise, "10:30 and no later."

"Yes!" Koishi jumped up and down before hugging him tightly. "Thank you, Otou-sama!"
