Makise mumbled and sighed heavily. "What am I gonna do with you?"

"Kick me out, tell me I can never see Koishi again, tell me you hate me. Etcetera, etcetera." Shizuo explained

Makise laughed and leaned up to kiss him. "I don't think I can do that~ This is your apartment..~"

Shizuo shrugged, "You could very well try." He said with a smirk

"I would, but I don't want to." She said, smiling softly and poking him lightly in the stomach.

Shizuo smirked more and poked her forehead, "Brat."

Makise stuck her tongue out at Shizuo, grinning. "You can call me a brat all you want, but I know you still love me..~" She teased.

"Never said I didn't." He said and kissed her softly before going to get some milk

Makise Madame a noise and sat down on the couch with a small sigh, leaning her head back and staring up at the ceiling.

"What's wrong?" Shizuo asked when he came back

"Just tired." She said softly, looking over at him.

"Go lay down for a bit..." He suggested, "You've been dealing with a kid all day.."

"Hai, hai." She said and stood up, giving him a kiss before heading off to bed.

Shizuo wished her a good nap and waited til he heard the bedroom door close before moving quietly to Koishi's room. Peeking in, he nodded to her, "Ready to go, kid?" He asked softly

Koishi popped up from her floor where she was sitting and playing with rolls, grinning widely. "Yeah..!" She said and moved over to Shizuo.

Shizuo took her hand and gently tugged her along, "Let's go get that ice cream."

Koishi grabbed her coat and pulled it on, following Shizuo out the door with a grin on her face. "What are you gonna get, Otou-sama?"

"Probably strawberry." He answered, "You?"

"I wanna get chocolate." She said proudly, holding his hand as they walked down the street.

"Sounds good." Shizuo said as they stepped into the ice cream store

Koishi smiled happily, following her dad to the cashier, looking around the ice cream shop.

Shizuo stood and waited for her to choose her ice cream and toppings

Koishi picked out her ice cream, chocolate with gummy bears on top in a sugar cone.

Shizuo got his ice cream and paid, taking Koishi's hand and taking her home
