Listening to the bickering of the lord coming from his side, he involuntarily gulped and groaned silently. He didn't want to face the executioners just yet, even though they weren't here to kill him, mixing in with his doubtful feelings it sure felt like a public execution. As Lucien's voice was mixed in, it was all just a hellish amount worse as he didn't want to show this sort of disarray or weakness in front of him due to his obvious desire to slay him where he stood.
He let his gaze stay out the window, not turning to face the lords now blocking the only non-aerial exit there was. He began to cold sweat, tugging at his collar and groaning silently. "Well, I..", he nervously spouted out in order to quench their worries, which so brutally and magnificently failed. Turning to face the men of horrors, it was easy to spot the beads of nervous and cold sweat slowly trickle down his cheeks. "I can't go out there.", he stated valiantly before the two men protecting the sweet and innocent Thorne. "What if she leaves me at the altar? What if tells me that she doesn't love me? What if we get married, and I can't make her happy? What if I can't protect her? What if.. What if..", he continued with a worried, panicking voice as he approached the men, walking in semi circles as he suddenly turned around as he reached the end of his sentence and began stuttering, walking to his large windows again and opening them, leaning heavily against the window frame and breathing in a quick, shallow fashion as he began hyperventilating at the very thought of destroying Thorne's life rather then enriching it as he wanted.
Groaning, he swiped the sweat of his brows with his sleeve, tugging at his collar again in an attempt to let more air get through as he felt constricted by the nervous worries. Deep inside Lucifer knew that Thorne loved him, she wouldn't have agreed to this if she didn't think that it would be okay again, that it would be better then anything else in the universe. He just needed his raging worries to be sated and brought down again from their boiling points. He was never worried about himself in this, though being the first time married, he was only worried about how he would make Thorne's life the best it could be, if he could be the man that she deserved.
