Accidental Bonds(ryax/lady)

Thorne whimpered quietly in pleasure as she watched him lick his fingers, panting softly as she watched him. Shivering a little as he brushed her hair, she turned her head a little into his touch before grinning as he undressed. Blushing a little at his reaction to being naked with her again. Squirming a little as she sighed softly, squirming to press tighter against him, legs tight against his sides as she slid her fingers through his hair, kissing him slowly.

Yelping a little as the man squeezed her ass she smiled, flushing as he felt her rubbing against her, relaxed and content, no longer thinking about anything beyond feeling him inside her again. Whining as he took his time pushing into her, she growled as she wrapped her arms around him, her hands finding his ass, urging him on, nails biting into his skin as she raised her hips to meet his. It was amazing, she’d missed him, so very much.

“Luc, oh luc…”she whispered, overwhelmed by what she was feeling, pleasure and love making tears fill her eyes, so overwhelmed by everything that she was actually crying. “please, more…please…”She whispered desperately as she clung to him, burying her face against his neck as she pressed as tight against him as she could, hands finding his wings behind his back, eager to drive her husband as insane and needy as she was feeling, she just couldn’t keep her hands away from his wings. They were just utterly fascinating for a woman who relied on physical touch.

Maybe that was why she’d been so calm, and somewhat depressed for so long. Lucien’s bloodline relied on physical touch, as evidenced by the man himself’s constant sex and pleasant mood. She’d been missing being touched, not only for sex, but even the casual touches that they’d developed while they were lovers. Lucifer’d been so very careful at touching her for months now, maybe now, they’d be once again balanced. Shivering as she pressed her face into his shoulder she sighed softly. “I love you.”she muttered nuzzling her face.

Lucifer moaned as he pushed himself into her, urged on by her tight grip and lust. Her movements to urge him into her was overwhelming just as they were. He bit his lips, smiled as he watched her cry from the pleasure and beg for more. He began moving himself to satisfy her lusts, teasing her by first moving slowly before he would pick up speed. The moment was so amazing, that he wanted to savor it for a while before taking out his gathered up lust on Thorne. Not that she wouldn't like it, he would make sure she had the best fuck of her life yet.

He leaned in with a smile still, licked up the tears falling from her cheeks before she buried her face in his shoulder and clung so tightly to him. He kissed her neck, moaning softly into it as he bit it as well. "I'll give you more, be patient...", he promised her softly. He shivered again as she touched his wings, he bit down gently on her neck, growling while squeezing her ass hard and pressing their bodies together and a bit upwards as he began pushing into her with more force. "Ohhh.. Thooorne...", he whined as he began giving her what she wanted both harder and faster.

He was quick to escalate however, couldn't taking it anymore; He had savored enough. He took footing on the hammock, growling as he pushed into her, raising their lower bodies upwards but their upper bodies still down on the hammock. The hammock was dangerously rocking right now, creaking and threatening to give in to the couple's primal desires. Like this, he was pushing his dick more upwards into her, entering from an angle and digging upwards into her. Lucifer was moaning almost furiously, his voice revealing his desire to fuck her silly and to stimulate himself. "Soooo goooood..", he growled in a whining manner as he was overwhelmed with pleasure. He closed his eyes, concentrating on giving this his all while his body shuddered from her touch, from her amazing body working him from the inside and from her perfect noises and movements.

Thorne whined as she clung to him tighter, pleasurable moan escaping as he promised, asking her for patience. Growling as she raised her hips to meet his, laughing, moaning as their motions made the hammock rock, shifting slightly, wrapping her hands at the base of his wings to steady herself, clinging to him just in case the hammock gave out, trusting him to keep her from crashing down. Growling, losing herself in the pleasure that was coursing through her. Gasping as she clung to him, coming hard as her orgasm crashed over her, shoving all that built up power into him, knowing that he needed the release just as much as she did, needing to watch him totally lose it, she leaned back to look up at him, raising a hand, gently touching his face, a gentle touch despite the harsh fucking they were doing. Love in that touch.

Gasping as he made her come again, continuous pleasure crashing through her body as she clung to him, yelping in startlement as the movement made the hammock brace snap from the wall, sending them both crashing down to the porch in a tangle of limbs and sweat. Clinging to him, hands touching him, making sure he wasn’t hurt. “okay?”She muttered nuzzling her face against his chest clinging to him as she recovered from the amazing, awesome sex.

Lucifer was laughing with lust along with Thorne as they frolicked happily on top of the poor hammock. Once Thorne reached her peak and had her long awaited orgasm on him, her body clamping down on him as her powers exploded through him, sending orgasmic shivers along every fiber of his. He moaned loudly once she came and let him partake in how she felt. There was no way Lucifer would be able to stay off an orgasm for himself right now, Thorne was simply making it too pleasurable for him to bare. Thorne had quickly came once more, sending a fierce stream of pleasure through his body. Lucifer moaned out sweetly and loudly as his own orgasm washed over him, cumming inside his lover, for the first time as man and wife. His heightened aggressive movements caused the poor hammock to come crashing down, sending the couple down on the ground. Lucifer was still having his orgasm when this happened, slipping out of his wife and laying his thick juice out over her stomach and legs. Lucifer groaned in pleasure, breathing hard and labored from the massive orgasm he had just had. He chuckled lightly, soon turning it into a soft laughter at the entire situation. They had literally fucked a piece of furniture apart, the whole situation was just hilarious to him really. "Mmm.. Yea. I'm perrrfect..", he voiced softly, kissing the top of Thorne's head.

"It wasn't as bad this time, was it?", he joked in his lighthearted bliss, laying them both down on the ground for a moment to recover. He slipped her arms around her waist, holding her close with his hands on her butt and back. He sighed out a soft moan before he moved himself back a bit and looked over his wife for any damage by the fall. She had clung to him, so she was not likely hurt, but he wouldn't miss taking a look at the 'damage' he had caused himself. Grinning and shaking his head playfully he got up and picked up his wife in his arms, heading to their shower. "We should probably get you cleaned up.", he said softly.

Thorne laughed, utterly amused that they’d fucked a piece of furniture apart, giggling a little as she nuzzled her face into his neck, cuddling him before smiling.”Hmmm, one of is perfect, and I’m pretty sure its not you.”She teased smiling as she shifting, snuggling into his arms before shaking her head.”No, not to bad at all, though we are in our honeymoon, we should try again as soon as possible.”She grinned smiling as he leaned back to look at her, looking sweaty and sticky with his juice all over her, but unharmed. “Yes, we better clean up.”She grinned as he picked her up, amused as she settled in to enjoying the rest of their honeymoon.

When they arrived back in hell two weeks later, Wrath was waiting for them, leaning against the door to lucifer’s study as he watched the couple cross the front hallway. The fact that he was waiting for them, to Lucifer would point out that his assassin was bothered by something, because wrath rarely had the precision and care with being on time, to actually be waiting for someone to arrive. Usually, he was late to things. Wrinkling his nose a little as he looked at the slightly rumpled, tanned two, he knew that they were going to be stuck in the gooey happy sugary love scene for awhile longer, because it was obvious they two had gotten back together in every way, and were ecstatically happy about it.

Sighing he realized he was about to ruin lucifer’s mood, but he had no choice in the matter. Smiling at his granddaughter as she walked towards him, he dipped his head to press a kiss to her forehead.”Belial’s waiting upstairs to help you unpack. I’m stealing your husband.” “….I didn’t think you swung that way, grandfather.” “Little beast, I have boring business to discuss. Go have some girl talk.”He said snickering a little at the look his queen was giving him, but refusing ot be cowed because she was also his granddaughter, so he could get away with bending the rules a little and not telling her things, and ordering her about.

Huffing out a laugh, Thorne rolled her eyes looking up at Lucifer, “come find me if you need anything.”She said brightly stealing a kiss before running up the stairs to go see belial, having missed the older woman while she was gone. While she’d enjoyed having Lucifer to herself, she’d also missed the people she’d grown close to over the last year.

Wrath watched her go before looking at Lucifer.”Come on. You need to see something.”he said pushing away from the door and heading back outside, only pausing long enough to make sure Lucifer was following before heading up a level to where the lords made their homes, walking down the road, and within moments it was obvious where he was heading. Lucien’s.

Lucifer grinned slightly and chuckled at her comment. Thorne had misinterpreted what he meant, but all the same he replied, "There is no way I'm not perfect.", he growled lightly, still exhausted at this point when he growled into her hair, biting it playfully.

Their honeymoon had just begun, then next few weeks were spent blissfully fucking and simply enjoying themselves, taking some good and surely needed time off from all responsibilities but getting the other off in the most pleasurable way. While returning back, Wrath was already waiting for their return, anticipating their moves which was an easy feat for loyal friend of old. Lucifer came smiling through the gates, sighing softly as he came back to his house, when he spotted Wrath already waiting for him. His smile turned into a frown for a moment, he didn't expect him to be so readily awaiting their return, he never did, something must be amiss he figured, and he needed to check it out. He sighed as he approached his friend, hand in hand with his wife as they walked, he put a sly and questioning smile back on his face. Lucifer let Thorne go, sending her to her grandfather to be reunited after the break.

Lucifer burst out laughing at Thorne's remark to her grandfather and the look she gave him after his own comeback. Indeed they were home again. "Then why are you leaving?", Lucifer asked her playfully before grinning and returning a soft kiss to his queen, knowing full well that he was referring to that he needed her right away. But business came first, they had to part for a while and let Lucifer get caught up to speed on what is going on in hell. Wrath's early arrival boded no good in the matter either. The men watched the woman skip up and to where Belial was supposed to be, Lucifer was happy to see Thorne in such high spirits again, it was refreshing.

Lucifer turned his attention to Wrath, sighing lightly as he nodded, and back to business he was. He followed along side his friend, curious as to why they were waking back out again. Had something happened not able to be recorded in the books in his office? He quickly noticed where they were heading once they arrived to the lords level and set off on a path he had gone many times over the centuries. They were heading to Lucien's. Lucifer couldn't help but wondering what kind of mischief the man had prepared for this time. He have had 4 weeks of being able to play around and scheme, plenty of time to destroy even the veil between the world if it would come to that. Lucifer was worried for what was to come.

"What's he done now?", Lucifer asked with a sigh while taking a good look at the house as they walked to see if he could spot anything new, curious as to what the scheme master had been up to.

Thorne laughed at her husband’s remark, “Behave. I’ll see you later.”She said rolling her eyes a little as she was kissed, amused that her husband wanted her with him, but knowing better then to get in the way of whatever wrath needed to speak of. If she needed to know, she figured the two would tell her later.

“I do hope you enjoyed your honeymoon, cause this is going to ruin your day for awhile.”wrath smirked, amused as he saw lucifer’s reaction to where they were walking. It would amuse him to just keep Lucifer guessing on what kind of mischief the king of schemes was up to, if only he could force himself to not be worried. “Oh, its not Lucien that’s been plotting things this time. Which is sort of scary, considering this is something that would be right up his alley.”Wrath snorted amused as they walked up the front steps, barely pausing to offer a knock before walking in. the causal entering meaning that the man had spent more time in the house then usual, and that lucien’s family had gotten to the devil’s assassin wandering around.

“It would amuse me to watch you try to figure this out, if I didn’t know you’d suspect Lucien did this for some unknowable reason.”he said as they headed up the staircase to the family wing, pausing at the master bedroom.”phedre?”he asked as he knocked the bedroom door, this time actually waiting for a answer.

“Wrath.”Phedre greeted with a slight smile, looking worn and tired, before brightening a little, happiness brightening her eyes.”Lord Lucifer, it is good to see you.”She said opening the door more to let the two men in. Wrath bent his head a little, brushing his lips over her forehead, wrapping his arms around the frail woman in a brief hug. He’d always wondered why Lucien had married her when he usually liked warrior women, but watching her deal with Lucien now, he realized what Lucien liked about her. She was calm and loving, in a way Lucien was incapable of being.

Wrath tilted his head towards the man laying in the bed, who looked feverish and worn down to bone, gaunt and pale. Lucien, a man who’d long been one of the most beautiful men in hell, looked like moments from death’s door. “You know he’s been training the youngsters?”Wrath said looking curious, wondering if Lucien had asked for permission to teach weapons from Lucifer, or had simply bypassed the need and gone to their parents. As one of the former seraphim, Lucien was more then capable of teaching weaponry to a bunch of young demons. And no matter their rank, the lower levels of hell cherished their young, and trained them well.

“Lucien was giving letting them practice with each other, and when he saw one blow almost turn deadly he didn’t think and stuck his arm out to stop the blow from landing, cut all the way to bone. Feel bad for the poor kid, he promptly passed out when he’d realized he’d hurt Lucien. Though I do give him credit, Lucien just shrugged it off and healed it mostly. That was two weeks ago.”Wrath winced a little, rubbing a hand over his face. “We didn’t think anything of it until he passed out last week while doing paperwork. Seems someone gave the all the students a poisoned dagger, and hoped they’d do exactly what they did. Make Lucien intervene to stop someone from getting hurt. And we don’t know who, since obviously the kid couldn’t have planned this.”Wrath grumbled a little, jerking his head towards Lucien. “he’s like this most of the time, or he’s raving mad the rest of it.”

Phedre looked up at both lords, sitting on the edge of the bed, gently wiping lucien’s brow with a rag, wanting to cool him off. “We’ve figured out it’s a posion, from all three worlds in part. Earth, heaven and hell. We just cant figure out how to counter it. At this point, we’ve just managed to keep it from killing him.”He sighed a little. “When we tried to tell him to interrupt the honeymoon, he raved and demanded no, that you two should get some time. But now you’re back, so you can help us figure it out.”Wrath said pleased with having his friend back, because it meant he wasn’t carrying the burden for not letting Lucien die alone anymore. “Only me, you, and phedre know he’s sick. I know the others suspect something’s wrong, but right now, its just us.”

Lucifer wanted to give Thorne her normal walking away salute of a 'warning hot woman passing through'-whistling and a sexy growl and a remark on how hot she was to him, but he refrained from it and merely kept his gaze following her for a bit before attending to Wrath. The man had serious matters to discuss, and it was his granddaughter, such actions would be highly inappropriate for the time being. While he wasn't above doing things like that already, the matter ahead seemed just enough to demand some more decency of all their relationships.

Lucifer looked with surprise and skepticism at his friend, "Really now? I don't think anything can do that right now.", he revealed confidently, although he didn't know what the matter was about. He refrained from making the remark that it was practically impossible to feel bad for him over the next couple of days since Thorne had literally fucked away all of Lucifer's worries over the weeks on their amazing island. As confident as he was, he didn't know the complications that were ahead of him, and how grave the matter actually was.

Lucifer was immediately worried about Wrath's following words, that Lucien was not the culprit this time. Things in hell as they were before he left had been shifted, and that could never be good. With a surprised look, he voiced his concern with a simple, "Really..?". It was surprisingly easy to enter Lucien's mansion, which told Lucifer immediately that Wrath had been spending a lot ff time there lately and that something was definitely afoot. Had Lucien consorted with something particularly dangerous this time? Had he killed someone of a higher rank? Was he dead? The questions raced through Lucifer as he was dying to know what the hell had happened here. The whole matter was highly disturbing that Wrath had possibly spent a lot of time in that house.

"He probably did, didn't he though?", Lucifer said confirming Wrath's thoughts about his friend. He followed him still, through the house and up the stairs to the second floor of Lucien's mansion. Lucifer entered after his friend with a surprised look on his face still, greeting Phedre as usual, "Lady Phedre, same to you." Wrath was being highly unusually forward in the matter, what had actually happened here was a thought that quickly spun around in Lucifer's head, until he saw Lucien, as terrible as he looked right now, something was clearly wrong. Looking back to Wrath in even more surprise, as if it was possible, "No, no I haven't. When did he find time to do that?", he asked without thinking clearly, though his question was more mild then what he originally had intended.

Lucifer listened, frowning at the story shifting from normal to grim in so many ways. "Dammit Lucien, why are you never clear..", Lucifer mumbled to himself as he rubbed his forehead, closing his eyes in thoughtful stress. "That type of poison is no child's play. There's really nothing we can do unless we figure out and acquire the base ingredient for it. It could really be anything within the three worlds.", he said with a voice of distraught. This was a tricky one, a poison from the three realms was not an easy feat to make, let alone an even harder one to remedy. Lucien is likely in for an even rougher couple of days as they'll try to crack the secret of this new twist. "How do we tell Thorne? Or rather, DO we tell her?", he asked questioningly as he glared at the sick Lucien. "Dammit Lucien, it's always something with you...", Lucifer growled to himself in silence as he rubbed his forehead again, closing his eyes and trying to run this through his own head and process it.

“Really. As amusing as it would be to consider that he is, I’m pretty sure he isn’t.”He snorted looking amused as he considered Lucien poisoning himself to just attention. Not even Lucien could be that attention hungry. Looking bemused at Lucifer’s question he shrugged. “Apparently for the last century, since thorne was born, he took a break from scheming to train the youngsters because Dante asked him to.”Wrath shrugged looking bemused. It interested him the children’s dynamic with their father, by far thorne was the favored child, despite being the youngest, but both older boys were quite capable of wrapping a usually jaded Lucien around their fingers.

“I know. Which is why I’ve only been able to stall it, not cure it. I couldn’t chance leaving hell, not with both you and thorne gone.”Wrath said sounding tired. Because for all their fighting, he cared for the other demon lord, and would be upset if something happened to Lucien. He liked the idea that he could be the one to kill him, no one else had the right to take the privilege of that away. “Well, at least it’s not Lucien playing this game. If it was, most likely we’d never have a chance. At least with Lucien being the one sick, we might have a chance.”He sighed softly before looking at Lucien, shaking his head a little.

“No, we cant. Luc, this isn’t about Lucien, though I am sure he has his own enemies. So close after your wedding, I am sure this about thorne, and about you.”Wrath sighed, willing his friend to realize that by loving someone, by getting married, he’d handed a enemy a perfect weapon to hurt him with. Because he had a feeling no matter how much they fought in the future, that no matter how close or far apart the king and queen were, that thorne’s pain would be lucifer’s. “So no, don’t tell her. At least not until we have to. It will only hurt her.”

“Though considering where your wedding rings came from, we might have a easier time of it…if you can get ahold of him.”Wrath said after a long moment as he looked down at lucifer’s hand, wincing a little as he heard Lucien stirring, knowing that soon enough the raving lunatic that was begging for freedom, for nyx, for love, would be back. And it hurt badly to hear him like that, because he had doubted, despite lucien’s love for thorne, how much Lucien could have loved his daughter. After listening to him rave for a week, it was hard to doubt.

Lucifer remained stunned by this knowledge, shocked even. Sighing, "I really gotta get my game together..", he said in muttering to himself mostly, shocked that he didn't even see this happening. He guessed since it was because it was Lucien, that Lucifer didn't want to care for anything revolving the man even remotely at even a subconscious level. "I see.", he said simply, understanding the tiredness felt in his friend's voice. It was a wise decision to not move along without anyone to watch over hell properly. "Yea, you're right about that.", Lucifer agreed with his friend, sighing at the entire situation.

Lucifer didn't want to hear the words, but still had to, groaning silently to himself and rubbing his forehead some more to try to kill the tickling headache that had started to make it's way to him due to the most disturbing situation. "I hardly think... that..", he said, trying to convince himself but ultimately sighing since his friend was usually never wrong when it came to to things like this, beside he had already investigated this for a bit, Lucifer was not one to say against him right now. Lucifer sighed at the ultimate realization, wanting to tell her so bad that she was in danger, but he ultimately had to keep this a secret from her, a dark and deadly secret at that. "Alright. I won't tell her.", he agreed simply, understanding that it was the best course of action.

Sighing at his friend's words, Lucifer straightened himself and stared at him. "I guess it's time to meet my brother again.", he said with determination both in his voice, stance and eyes. Lucien drew attention back to himself even in his unconscious state. It was not very nice to see him like this, no matter how much he despised the man. If anything he felt like Wrath, wanting to punish the man when he was alive and kicking.

"I suppose I'll take a trip to the surface in a moment.", he said, pondering where to go and how to call his brother. Though his thoughts straying to his lovely Thorne, a light sigh escaping him as well as he knew that he had to lie to her and keep her in the dark about all this, and that he had to leave her for a bit for her own safety.

Wrath sighed softly watching his friend decide to lie to his wife. He knew it would be hard, but it was what was needed. At least for the moment, because it would just hurt thorne to see her father like this. Especially knowing that the man had demanded they stay on their honeymoon instead of getting help faster. Tilting his head a little he laughed quietly. “It is. Don’t look so shocked. Someone in heaven knows whats going on, if it’s a posion crafted in three worlds. Michael will be the best person to figure that out.”He pointed out wincing a little at lucien’s whimper.

“…nyx?Where are you?Its cold here….you promised to stay.”Lucien stirred blinking slowly, flinching a little when he caught sight of his wife sitting next to him. “Shh,luc, its okay. She just stepped out.”Phedre muttered gently stroking lucien’s hair out of his face, studying the man, her face pained as she watched him drift back out. Thank god this time he hadn’t raved to long, but she knew eventually he would realize they were all lying about nyx coming back, but there was no other why to calm him.

“Come on. lets go. Belial can keep your wife busy, I’ll go with you.”Wrath said looking at Lucifer, walking out with the hell lord before the man could have second thoughts about lying to thorne, and dragging her off to the earth with them to meet his brother again. While he knew Lucifer wanted to meet his brother again, wanted to have a relationship of some kind with the archangel, this wasn’t the circumstances any of them had expected it to happen under. “You should hear him when he really gets going. He screams, for both thorne and nyx. But wouldn’t let us go get thorne….its like he knows nyx is really gone and wants thorne, but also cant consciously admit that nyx is gone forever.”he said sounding weary, needing to share the nightmares, because for the past week he’d had no one to talk to, because he’d hidden Lucien being sick from belial, so the man was feeling very beaten and tired. though a trip to earth might just be something to look forward to. smiling as they headed for the gate.

Lucifer nodded, a soft 'Mhh' of agreement with his friend. He listened to the sad poisoned man's whimpers, a look of pity when he was soothed by his loyal wife. Lucifer didn't react much, just staring at Lucien but broke his concentration and followed his friend out of the building. "I don't like seeing him this way; I'd rather have him dead.", he revealed a bit coldly as his thoughts were elsewhere, what to say to his wife, what to say to his brother he hadn't seen in 900 years, what to make of all of this; Because if one thing was for certain, it was that Lucien getting poisoned was not a coincidence, and a player yet still int he dark was lurking somewhere but they had no lead or any information yet on who it might be. Dark times were ahead for the top lords of hell and their companions.

"Yea.. That's... Sad. It must have been tough taking care of him and my kingdom at the same time, no?", Lucifer said lightly as he asked him subtly how he's doing and how he's been, how things had gone, not even being able to rightly find the words to describe what he felt about the situation. He didn't want Lucien to be in pain like this, nor Phadre, nor his friend, nor anyone really. It's not a fate worthy anyone, not even his dear nemesis.

Talking all the way to the gate, Lucifer listening in on all the both interesting and uninteresting troubles going on in his kingdom that Wrath got to deal with, how the man felt about all of this and more so how he's feeling now. A spark of excitement could easily be heard in his voice, and once they went to the gate, Wrath's posture brightened immensely the closer they got. It was obvious that the man wanted to follow Lucifer, but Lucifer was afraid that if Wrath went with him, Wrath would be hurt, and right now that's not something Lucifer would even dare risk, Wrath needs to stay alive and thus he simply can't follow him.

Once right by the gate, Lucifer turned, facing his friend with a serious nature sparkling in his eyes. "Wrath, my dear friend. I know that you want to come. But I can't let you go with me. We can go up after to relax, have a beer, sway some local barmaid, but right now I need to go alone. I must see my brother alone.", Lucifer told his friend, worry in his voice, afraid but also excited at the same time. "You can't come. Please take care of everything around here for a little while longer, I promise I'll be back as soon as I can.", he told him, demanding that he stayed put in hell and not came with him to the surface.

“Yes, I think I would to.”Wrath agreed, just as coldly as Lucifer. While he didn’t like Lucien, didn’t like what this meant, he hated this hovering between worlds even more. “Yes, it was…interesting.”He said smiling slightly looking amused at lucifer’s prodding. “but don’t worry. This is the biggest problem I had, between me and belial we made sure you had a good kingdom to come home to.”He said smiling a little though it was pained, because even if he hated Lucien, he was still a hated friend. He’d known him to long to take this fate for the demon lord easily. Smiling as he told Lucifer the rest of everything that had gone on he watched his friend before wincing at the order. “Fine.”He ground out angry at the man’s words, “but if you get yourself killed, I’m bringing you back so you can explain to your wife why you made her a widow.”The demon lord ground out the words before he settled down by the gate to wait for Lucifer to return.

Hours later Michael stepped through the barroom door, looking for all the world like he’d just stepped off the runaway. Dressed in slacks and a black dress shirt, the man looked painfully beautiful as he glanced around the barroom at the humans filling the room. Curling a lip a little at the smell of beer and sex he sighed softly as he walked through the crowd easily avoiding touching any of the woman who reached out to touch him, sliding into the booth seat across from Lucifer, not speaking for a moment as he picked up the beer the waitress brought him, studying his brother.

“After your wedding, I thought you’d be up here on your honeymoon to kick my ass for speaking to your lady.”He said slowly, a smile brightening his face as he spelled the room to make sure no one would bother to try to disturb them. Glad they were in public, they were less likely to get attacked by either side like this, but he wanted peace and quiet to talk to his brother in. he looked pleased with how happy the man looked, though he did look stressed. It was obvious that the man had no idea why Lucifer had made sure to get a message to heaven for him, having seen the spark of magic Lucifer’d sent to summon him, he was wondering just how violent the man would be for Michael daring to talk to thorne.

"And I am truly grateful for it.", he replied, contempt over the thought that was lingering in his mind, that Wrath took so good care of his kingdom, even his nemesis now laying in wait for death, that maybe he should take care of the kingdom a little more often and himself could enjoy some more time with his lovely granddaughter. Interesting but very dangerous thought he agreed with himself as he shrugged the thought off, it might even get him killed if he would do something as mean as that. His kingdom was his own, greatness and boredom alike.

"Fair enough.", Lucifer smiled in a way that showed for resolve, nerves of both steel and spaghetti and even some pity for his friend that he must keep stationed below for the safety of him and himself.

Lucifer had entered the bar he requested his brother to arrive in, the very same that he and Wrath so often came to. Ordering a tab, starting with a single tall pint of beer which he devoured quickly in fact, the next one filling up quickly when the man at the counter saw the ravenous appetite for adult beverages his customer had, intent to sell as much as he could of course. The next pint was not so fully ravaged however, slowly pinning up a glass, Lucifer sighed, staring down at the table in deep thought, now ready to sit and wait quietly for his brother to arrive. And sure he did, as stunning as always he swayed the locals just by mere looks alone, but Lucifer saw none, for his eyes fixed at the table, waiting. As the man sat, he said nothing, looking down on his table he waited, frightened, excited, happy and angry all at the very same painful time.

Chuckling at his brother's thought of him being spot on what he himself had thought of when his moment of terror showered him back when his wife told him how she got the rings. He looked up, smiling slyly at his brother. Such a long time they had been away from one another, over 900 years now, almost a millennium; No one should be away from his brother for such a long time, but the brothers this time had nothing but a complex relationship involving the very heavens, earth and hell alike, nothing to really be trifled with if you'd want to stay sane. "I was at a hairs breadth away from doing just that.", he replied, his voice filled by a sly and powerful sense of joy as the man was relieved over their first encounter for so many years. "Though I must admit, this is much nicer then a fight with you, brother, especially after all these years. Though I must admit, if the rings had been of worse quality I would have made sure that you got us proper ones.", he said, grinning slightly though the still sly smile, the smile soon after turning friendly. He was happy to see his brother again, to be able to talk to him once more.

"However, how jubilant as this is, I'm afraid I can't digress from why I've called you here, brother.", he said, Lucifer's lips and brows turning a worried but steady frown as opposed the previous friendly smile. "Lucien has fallen ill, a poison, he's dying.", he revealed steadily, stalwart as he paused for a moment. "Wrath has managed to stall the effects further, but the situation is never the less dire. He must be cured or he will fall. I know Lucien haven't been the most... saint like being there is, but he's one of us, and I can't let him fall, not like this.", he told him, his voice showing slightly towards the end, before it returned as it were, that he knew that Michael knew of Lucien's twisted disposition with lust and intelligent schemes. "We believe that we're dealing with a Split Worlds Poison, but we have no leads, none what so ever on where to start finding a cure for this specific one. I brought you here to find out if you had any information to help save our friend.", he said, asking his brother like this for help took a lot from him, especially as this moment were so deeply emotional, they had to stall it he felt, until Lucien was healed.

Michael tilted his head, looking amused as his brother looked up at him, sipping the beer. Even if they had always had a complex relationship, almost a millennium apart was just to long to be away. Tilting his head a little he smirked,”I thought you might. Though I am pleased the lovely woman managed to convince you to stay and romance her instead of fighting me.”He teased a little, looking pleased to see that the man still retained his sense of humor. No matter how twisted hell had left Lucifer, he was still the brother he had known. “Ahhh, well, I knew that. Knew better then to give you anything less than archangel crafted rings.”He said rolling his eyes a little, because he was used to his brother making fun of him for getting other people to do things for him instead of making the effort to do it himself. The fact that he’d actually expanded the effort to make them himself, meant that not only did he still care for his brother, but that he genuinely liked and approved of the woman he’d married.

Looking startled to realize that wasn’t why he was here, he looked annoyed that their reunion was going to be business instead of just a reunion between two people who had gone to long without seeing each other. Eyebrows raising at the news that Lucien was dying he was startled that Lucifer was actually trying to save him, even if it was his father in law and one of the lords. A frown twisted his handsome face as he stared down at the table, “There are only a few posions in heaven, crafted to effect demons. Tell me what his symptoms are and I might at least be able to tell you what the heaven’s potion of the poison is.”he said staring at the table, annoyed that this was what they had to deal with instead of everything else, but willing to help.

Listening to the listen of symtoms he frowned slightly.”…it sounds like love lies bleeding or belladonna poisoning. Which in heaven, are both more potent forms of their earthling counterparts. And if one of them is the posion, the earth portion could be those to.”he said after a long moment, looking annoyed that he hadn’t been able to narrow it down more, but without knowing for sure exactly what he was like, or without knowing who was at fault, he couldn’t even begin to guess which poison it was. “Either will be a slow posion, he’ll be sick, but he’ll get slowly worse, instead of quickly. I need time to look in heaven for the traitor.”he scowled, annoyed that someone had gone against his express orders to leave the demon lords and king and queen alone.

While it had been discussed what would happen when Lucifer would marry, and what it would mean to have one of the lord’s daughters carrying his heir. A mixture of bloodlines that would be deadly, but Michael had ordered his men to wait, to see what would happen. Unwilling to condemn both his brother and thorne without giving them the chance to have a peaceful rule, instead of the chaotic and violent reign that some were sure that it would bring about.

"Aye.", Lucifer agreed with a light smile. The expressions and thoughts from his brother was easy to read, nine-hundred years apart didn't make a difference. He could see every frown and every little annoyance that was their current business reunion. He didn't want it to be like this, but he couldn't let Lucien die like this. He told him the symptoms and effects that he had witnessed himself and gotten reported to him by Wrath, and it seems like his brother had a hunch on what it might be. But only so much apparently, he couldn't help much but to narrow it down to some form of dangerous poisons, but no branch which made it still hard to track, but not nearly as hard as before thankfully.

"See to it that you will.", Lucifer agreed with his brother, though then after that statement he chugged down his glass of beer, called in another round for them both, leaned back and smiled with sly intentions at the man. "While I would want this investigation to proceed as fast as possible, Lucien can wait a bit longer, it's not like he has, oh say about two millenias worth of annoyance, irritation and pain to make up for. A few more hours won't hurt him much worse.", Lucifer told Michael, raising up his glass in celebration of their reuniting. "Come on now, raise your glass.", he edged the man on as he grinned, for they had much to catch up about and little time to do it.

Later that evening, Michael and Lucifer had finished their get together and had to part ways to conduct more pressing research and work on the matter of the poison at work. Lucifer had returned to hell, Michael to heaven, scouring for the traitor and hitting the books alike. He headed back home to Lucien's, hoping to catch Wrath there to tell him about the possible type of poison that his brother thought it might be.

“I will.”Michael said rolling his eyes a little looking to amused, before starting to laugh.”Oh, well as long as we’re punishing Lucien as well, I guess I can take a bit longer to find out what it is.”He said teasing, because he had every intention of hurrying up and finding out what the posion was. “Hm, I’ll drink to us being together again.”he grinned glad to settled down to talk.

By the time Lucifer returned to hell wrath was indeed back at Lucien’s, sulking though at being ordered to stay behind, pausing as he walked out of the house, about to head home for the evening as Lucifer walked up the stairs. Looking tired he smirked a little,”You look pleased. I assume Michael had a idea?”He said rolling his eyes a little at the idea of Michael having a ‘idea’ for anything. No matter how much he might harass Lucifer about being related to the arrogant angel, or Michael being so self assured that he’d give Lucien a run for his money, he actually liked him. Tilting his head slightly he sighed, rubbing a hand over your face. “also, I gotta tell you. In other news, your wife’s young.”He started, sounding awkward, and knowing it. Wincing at the words before he paused, lighting the cigarette he’d pulled from his jacket and taking a long drag. He wasn’t sure how to explain the deep insecurity he’d seen in thorne’s eyes when he’d talked to her earlier, but he knew it needed to be addressed before Lucifer said something stupid- and being Lucifer, it would be something carelessly stupid- and hurt his young queen.

“Thorne’s…she might act secure and all, older you know? But she’s only 100.”He said looking torn, because he knew he was breaking a confidence to tell Lucifer, but he knew Lucifer could deal with thorne’s insecurity about being queen, with being left by a man who despite being in love with her, had had affairs lasting longer then she’d been alive. So yes, thorne was worried, not that she’d ever consciously admit it. But being left behind moments after they got back from their honeymoon had screwed with the woman’s head. And no matter that Lucifer had never married, had never fallen in love or had a child, he had over the years had several long term mistresses, so thorne was feeling off balance because someone had finally made sure that she was aware of them. Sadly, it just had to be while Lucifer had left her to deal with a problem they couldn’t tell her about. So Lucifer being gone, was making her climb the walls.

Heading back to lucifer’s mansion with him, he smirked a little. “thorne’s going insane, she had a letter waiting for her when she got home."He winced a little, glancing over at him. "Detailing everything...she didn't already know about your...relationships and female friends while in hell. apparently, she's not immune to jealousy as we thought."He mused, despite the occasional snips and her birthday party, thorne had handled people flirting with Lucifer remarkably well. now he knew why. she hadn't been unbothered, she'd simply been ignoring it until she didn't have a option of doing that. And he knew that someone was doing it to screw with all their heads, and most of all, their young queen's.

"Perfect.", Lucifer said with a cheer. Upon returning to hell, he did indeed come upon Wrath on his path, just as he had expected to find him at Lucien's. 'Mhh', Lucifer replied with agreement at his friend, a nod and a subtle smile accompanying. Lucifer then looked with a confused expression over the overly obvious statement his friend had just told him. "Really? I hadn't noticed. What about it?", he asked, obviously sarcastic in his approach. "I know she's young.", he stated, still confused and dumbfounded of what his friend was trying to tell him bit by bit. He wasn't aware of the letter that she had gotten, that everything was about to pile up at the very same time on top of both her and him.

As they walked to his home, his friend told him the rest. "What letter?", he said with suspicion and confusion, having no idea what his friend was talking about, though starting to sense that something afoul was afoot. "Oh.... Oooohhhhh....", Lucifer exclaimed slowly, stopping in his tracks and scratching his head, wanting to say something but ultimately sighing hard. "She was never immune to jealousy, it's always been apparent you know but... this... uh.. Yea this is not good.", he agreed, whining and groaning for a bit. Looking to his friend, looking for advice on the matter or approval of his thoughts, "I wanted to tell her that, eventually, later... I should have told her way before. But she should already have known something like this? Right? But to put faces on the doubts...", he said, groaning before he continued, "I guess it's the time to deal with it, I'm just going to walk in there and talk to her, I'm sure it doesn't have to be a firefight.", he said, his words lacking substance as his resolve was faltering. Lucifer knew that Thorne was going to more then just rip a new one for him, but rather to simply carve out a new one with a rusty spoon. He expected a verbal fire fight, maybe even tossing of delicate things to see the walls and the floors.

Starting to walk up the stairs, he hoped for his friend to give him some better advice, or even to tell him that he was doing the right thing and did the right approach. It would only be worse if Lucifer was gone longer when she would just let her mind race further and her jealousy boil further. He stopped before the main door to Thorne's quarters, she wouldn't be in his quarters with her head breaking apart with jealousy, who knew how many women Lucifer have had in his bedroom, or any of his rooms, or even in any of Thorne's currently occupying rooms. Chance is that she wasn't even in the house anymore now that they've come back and her thoughts have brewed further. Lucifer whined, "This is going to suck... Can I count on you to fix me up later?", he asked with a bit of playfulness still in all of this.

“Yea.”Wrath winced as he looked at his friends confusion, sighing quietly. Because he knew this was going to be bad, but he also knew that there was a reason that she’d gotten the letter now. “Someone’s making sure our attentions scattered. Between Lucien and thorne, we’re not going to be focusing.”He grumbled looking annoyed. “Tell me about michael’s idea, I’ll go work on that while you deal with thorne.”He said knowing that this was going to distract them all, because thorne wasn’t going to be able just look away from what she found out. And because they wouldn’t tell her about Lucien, it was the perfect distraction from whoever was playing games with them.

Listening to lucifer’s words he nodded before sighing at the rest of lucifer’s words. “I know. She knew…but to know for sure you had relationships that lasted longer then she’s been alive, or to know for sure who you’d had sex with, she probably didn’t want to know for sure.”he said sighing quietly, smirking a little. “No, it probably doesn’t. hopefully. Just be ready to dive out of the way of flying things.”He snorted looking amused before nodding. “Just talk to her, it would be worse to just let her brood, and since she doesn’t know about Lucien, she’ll totally think something else. Someone did a very good job at picking something to make us focus on besides finding them. Bloody fuck, it’s a good thing lucien’s not dying quickly, we can fix this before dealing with everything else.”he growled really, really pissed that someone had outmaneuvered them into focusing on dealing with thorne first instead of tracking down the traitor.

“Oh yea, I’ll fix you up later. And she’s in your rooms. Been there since she got back.”Wrath said smirking as he walked away from his friend, having every intention of tracking down belial so they could start working on curing Lucien.

Thorne turned her head a little at the sound of lucifer’s door opening, having realized that if she wanted to stay in the house, there wasn’t a room that she could rest easily in, because she’d think about him having sex in all of them. So she’d settled on the one room that offered as much comfort as her husband’s presence. Resting her head against the glass of the window as she curled up in the window seat, smiling a little at the sight of her husband. Looking more sad then upset, it seemed she wasn’t going to be making it easy on either the traitor who wanted her to take Lucifer out of the game, or Lucifer as he dealt with her.

Standing she walked barefoot towards her husband, looking comfortable wearing his clothes again. Which said just how upset she was, having since he’d hurt her, worn his clothes when she needed comfort, needed to know that he would stay with her, would protect her. “Hey.”She muttered clearing her throat as she stared at the floor, not quite able to look at him as she walked closer, not aware of how he was bracing himself for a fight as she stepped into his arms, leaning into his chest. Starting to cry softly, having been waiting for him to get back to break down.

'Mhh', Lucifer agreed simply with his friend, deep in thought as he were at the time as well. Who would want to hurt them he wondered, probably many, but none that he knew directly, that he knew of at least. "It might be some composition of Belladonna or Live lies bleeding poison. Note, might be. The effects Lucien are suffering seem to have something to do with a poison in that direction, but we can't be sure. Michael is going to investigate in heaven to see if he can find something.".

"I wouldn't either.", he said, agreeing to his friend's words of agreement itself. "That must feel... weird for her. That I've had relationships that lasting for longer then her live.", he told him, pondering what that could feel like, not really enjoying what he came to feel. "I'm old.", he said, laughing a bit at himself, hands by his side, sighing and shaking his head. "Should I bring a shield to go in there you think? Or armor?", he asked a bit playfully to his friend, not really meaning it but thought it was a funny twist to the grim situation. "Yea, I'll deal with this. I'll join you as son as I can after this.", he said to his friend, promising to help as much and as quickly as he could.

"Alright, thanks.", he said to his friend as he walked away, standing by Thorne's main chamber door a bit awkwardly as he thought she would be there, the last place she would want to see right now being his bedroom. He walked over to his own main door, slowly even as he though of the possible ways he should approach this. Opening his door, he stepped inside and braced for the flying objects that he was sure to be coming his way in he blink of an eye. No objects came flying however, much to his surprise. She was calmly sitting on the windowsill, even smiling at him when she looked at him, although the smile was of a sad nature, it was still better then madness. He returned her smile, a gentle one, one that said he was sorry, that he wanted to tell her, at least from his point of view as that's what he thought he entire endeavor was about. She was wearing his own clothes again, it was easy to see that she was upset as she always used to wear his clothes when she was upset. "Hey.", he returned softly, still smiling as he did but still bracing for vicious impact. Though none came, she just entered his vicinity and arms as he wrapped them carefully and softly around her. He was no longer smiling awkwardly, simply curious and surprised at her reaction. Then she began to cry, his expression changed to a sad one. "I'm sorry... I should have told you, I know, I'm an idiot for making you find out this way, I wanted to tell you all along but I just couldn't, I didn't want to ruin us in any way.", he said, pleading and explaining to her, pathetically hoping for her to forgive him as simple as that. He held her close, his hands gently sliding across her back and head as to help her into a comfortable space.

Thorne snuggled into his chest as the man wrapped his arms around her, resting her head on his chest. Pausing at his words she frowned, trying to figure out what he was talking about. Before starting to giggle watery as she hugged him tighter. Content to be held and comforted, even if she wasn’t upset over what he thought she was, she was still upset. “…its not the sex I’m upset with. You’re male, the king of hell, and most importantly, beautifully sexy.. There was no way you were a virgin, or that I didn’t know some of the people you slept with I knew.”She sighed a little pressing her face tighter to his chest, trying to relax. Trying to explain well, even if she knew she wasn’t doing a great job.

“I’m not mad about the sex, though a little jealous.”She muttered into his chest, her voice muffled but unwilling to part enough to talk clearly, just wanting held. “…they’re older luc. Older, wiser…they’d be better queens. You must have thought well of some of them, you had long relationships. Why me?I am nothing!I don’t know how to be a queen!I barely know how to interact with people!”She said pulling away looking up at him, tears filling her eyes. Her frustration and insecurity showing on that young face. Even knowing he loved her, wasn’t enough to settle the feeling of being…less then the other woman he slept with. She knew just how much she was lacking, had been told by her brothers for most of her life that she would never be their equal, that the two eldest of lucien’s children had forever scarred the youngest.

No matter how well Lucifer, wrath or Lucien himself thought she was worthy, that she would learn what she needed to know, she expected more of herself now and she was finding herself falling short.

First Thorne was confused, now Lucifer. 'Huh?' he exclaimed simply, confusion following. She wasn't mad at him for that, he wondered, then what could she be going through instead, since something was obviously up. "I'm glad that this is not your concern, but then... What is it?", he asked her softly, his answer coming shortly after. Lucifer chuckled at her jealousy, it made her cute, especially like this and the way that she covered it up.

Listening to her worries, it was a bad one this one, though not directed to any else but herself. She pulled away from him, but not very far as Lucifer went down on his knees in front of her, a worried and still a bit smug and happy smile as he put his hands on her hips, looking up at her cutely. "Baby.. They're older, yes, much older mind you. Wiser? Perhaps. But should any of them be queens? Fuck no.", he said softly, kissing at her stomach and bringing her in close to him, resting his head against her stomach. "You're good with people! I'm the bad one! I'm just a formal mess while you're always yourself. I've met no one, no one at all that's more fit to be a queen then you. You're beautiful, you're smart, you're powerful and strong. Best of all however, is that you love me, and I love you. Who the fuck says you can't be queen, I choose if you have what it takes to be a queen or not, and I did that the moment I first saw you. I don't see a young or stupid girl, I see a smart woman, I see my wife, I see my queen.", he said softly, mumbling into her stomach though one could hear his words still clear. "I hope you can see this as well some day. You're the perfect queen, and that's final.", he told her adamantly.

Thorne stared down at her husband as he knelt in front of her, looking confused as he held onto her. Flushing a little at his praise, unable to stop herself from running her fingers through his hair as he rested his head on her stomach. Staring down at the top of his head she smiled a little, because she knew just how bad he was with people. Even with how nerve wracking and painful she found the parties and crowds to be, she was better with standing at his side. The fact that she was worried at all about failing, failing him, and mostly failing the people she now ruled, proved just how good of a queen she was going to be. If given the chance. They had to get through this trap laid for them by the traitors both in heaven and hell, and maybe then, they could have some peace and quiet.

Smiling at his words, she tugged him to his feet, “Come on. Lets get some sleep.”She muttered smiling as she headed towards the bedroom, refusing to let him leave, wanting held. Wrath would just have to search by himself for the day, thorne wanted her husband.

Nearly a week later Michael smirked a little as he leaned back into his chair, looking up at the couple walking through the crowd. Even if he hadn’t known the two would be meeting him here, he would have never mistaken them for anything but what they were. The king and queen of hell were a sight to be seen, beautiful and tall, both were people that the humans wet fantasies were made of, so beautiful it was almost unreal. Dark and light, the two were perfect compliments not just in looks but in personality for each other. It was almost painful to see them together, because it was a stark reminder that he had no one.

Thorne smiled a little, after a week of settling into the role of queen and wife, the woman looked more at ease with the worries that had just a week ago plagued her. Though she was still worried about failing her kingdom, she had allowed Lucifer to convince her that she wasn’t going to fail. Though she was aware that her father was sick, she wasn’t aware that he had been poisoned, or that he was sicker then just being unwell. The men having decided to tell her since she’d asked to see him, but both wrath and Lucifer had been afraid of her reaction, so despite having seen him, she wasn’t aware just how serious it was. She had guessed it was, but she’d let her husband and grandfather think they were protecting her, because she really was scared that her father was dying, and if she did think about that, it left her helpless and unable to help take care of Lucien. So while Lucifer and wrath searched for a answer, thorne and her stepmother had tried to keep Lucien from getting worse.

While they all knew that she wasn’t fooled by the lie that nothing was seriously wrong, or that he was naturally sick, all three of them knew she couldn’t confront the fact yet that her beloved father was dying, so they were all living in a awkward limbo. Which brought them here at michael’s request.

Michael raised his eyebrows as he stood, leaning down to kiss his sister in law’s cheek, muttering a hello before grinning at Lucifer. “You always did have the excellent taste. I had forgotten how beautiful she was.”He muttered grinning, flirting just a little, because he knew it would annoy Lucifer, and he was interested in seeing how this couple worked together. He sensed they were stronger together then they ever would be apart. Sitting down as thorne did he studied the two, tilting his head.”You look worn Lucifer.”he muttered, looking just as tired and stressed. The past week of hunting his own traitor hadn’t been easy. And though he had the answer, at least in part, what he was about to say, it was going to set in motion events that would have dire consequences, and he needed to tell the others, to let them decide before the world came crashing down around them. It would take all of them, angel and demon alike, to brace and survive the coming war. Because Michael knew that war was almost inventible now that he was stepping in to help his brother, but he couldn’t stand aside and do nothing, even if it meant a war that could drown both their worlds in blood. He’d do anything to make sure Lucifer wasn’t hurt, which meant saving Lucien, because losing her father would cripple lucifer’s queen.

"Sounds good to me.", Lucifer said with a playful growl, picking his wife up in his arms and headed to his bed. He cared not for Wrath when his wife offered him something much more fun then to search for trouble quite simply. About a week later, Thorne and Lucifer walked the surface once more, into the crowded bar that Lucifer loved so much to meet his brother once more. This time it had been Michael who had summoned Lucifer, Thorne tagging along because it concerned her father and she knew a bit about what was happening, but still left in the dark. It would be an interesting conversation, if not even brutal if she would find out.

Lucifer grinned back at his brother, clearly affirming that he thought so as well. "That's right, I'd never settle with less then the best.", he added playfully. Throne is a complete catch. He wasn't very bothered with the flirting really, while his brother was more handsome then himself, he was secure in that he and his wife had gone through enough to not let something petty as that stir their relationship in the wrong way. He sat down beside his lovely wife, nodding at his friend. "It's not that bad, really.", he revealed, trying to reassure himself that he was perfectly fine. The week of hunting something fiercely had taken its toll on the man, and despite Thorne's loving it still showed from the stress and worry. "Nothing new from our side.", he said, relaying a sigh that had been longing to be exhaled in over a week of hunting and hope to find something, a solution, someone to blame.

Lucifer knew why Michael called him here again, he had found something, a lead regarding the poisoning and wanted to tell him. But without telling Thorne it would be hard to do so without her finding out. He didn't have any idea who the culprit was, but he was about to find the have the shock of his life, dire consequences upon action against it that he would have to think carefully about. "So, you called us here, now tell us something good.", Lucifer said, a curious and sly smile at his brother as he wanted to know some good progress. In hell, the progress had been slow, nothing coming up really besides that Lucien's condition was becoming worse, but all but Thorne already knew that.

Michael smirked a little as he looked at Lucifer, amused because it pleased him that his brother was so secure in his relationship with his wife as to not let something as small as his flirting bother him. Sighing softly as he ran his fingers through his hair as he studied the two, he leaned back into his seat, “I found the traitor on my side.”He swallowed, “And I found the antidote, at least part of it. The other part, I’m not sure if it’ll really work.”he said rubbing a hand over his face before setting a bottle and a lapis lazuli pendant as big as his fist. “My…traitor had a unique poison, because he didn’t know how to injure one of the original lords enough to keep him sick.”Michael said wincing at the look on thorne’s face, having not realized Lucifer had been keeping his wife mostly in the dark. At least she wasn’t screaming at them yet.

“It’s a mixture of blood lies bleeding and belladonna. He wanted to make sure that the idiot was dying.”Michael said deciding to be honest, because there was no way thorne would just leave them alone to talk, even watching her pale and lean into her husband, he knew he couldn’t make her leave. “The liquid will deal with heaven’s side of the poison, you’ll have to get some from earth and hell to make the rest. The necklace…well…”he flushed looking awkward, because he so didn’t want to admit what it was, but the fact that the man had tried, had tried so hard to come up with this, meant he probably cared far more then he should. “Its…Nyx died on earth. After you told me who her mother was…I realized that there was something Lucien needed.”he muttered staring down at the table, shifting awkwardly. “A demon dying on earth, her soul ended up in heaven…it was such a oddity that I trapped it in the stone...if nothing else, it might sooth Lucien’s raving until you get the rest of the antidote.”He shrugged because he had no idea what would happen, but he wasn’t about to admit that. Returned to the realm of her birth, he had no idea what the demoness’ soul would do to the trapped stone, but he wanted to sooth Lucien to.

“What…what about the traitor?”Thorne said looking a little startled, closing her hand around the stone, drawing it closer, shuddering at the feel of magic that throbbed against her fingers. For the first time having a sense of her mother, and it comforted the woman who even with her stepmother, since she’d found out that phedre wasn’t her mother, had felt the loss of her real mother.

“Well…that’s where we have a problem. I arrested my second in command, but I cant execute him. Not when it was a crime against a demon lord, and not a angel. I’ll have a war on my hands, even if one is already stirring between both our realms, I wont bring it sooner.”He sighed looking up at Lucifer. “Luc, I couldn’t get him to tell me who it was, but its one of the higher demons that got the poison in hell. If…if we deal with either my angel or the demon, we’re going to have a revolt on our hands, even if Lucien doesn’t….pass away from this, its still a crime punishable by death to try killing him.”
