Seeking Revenge... [Yuna&MysticSparxman's 1x1]

Dante didn’t really care for anything that Alexi had to say. All he was really interested in was getting her away from the other vampire. Not only that, but he also wanted Alexi out of his home. Of course, he did want to know how he had gotten into his home without being invited in the first place. Dante only really wanted to know this so that he could attempt to do something to prevent it from happening in the future. After all, he was sure that vampires couldn’t enter someone’s home without first being invited in, so this was all very confusing for him, just as he was sure it was confusing for Trinity too. As soon as he heard the last words that had come out of Alexi’s mouth, Dante narrowed his eyes and growled back at the other vampire. If there was one thing Dante didn’t like, then it was being threatened by anyone. ”Who the hell do you think you are? Threatening me in my own home. If you know what’s best for you, then not only will you leave Trinity alone and never bother her again, but you will get the fuck out of my home NOW!” He growled again soon afterwards.

Alexi simply laughed at Dante, but he turned his attention back towards Trinity as she continued trying to get away from him. He was a little surprised at how strong she seemed to be getting, and she did even manage to make him budge a little bit. ”Would you stop struggling as we will both be leaving soon.” He spoke in a serious tone before turning the focus of his attention back towards Dante once more. ”I’m not going to tell you how I got into your home uninvited. After all, where is the fun in that?” It almost seemed as if he may have been mocking Dante as he was speaking. ”Anyway, I will do whatever I like, and there’s not a damned thing you can do about it.” The smirk on his face widened, and then he tilted his head to the side slightly, still focusing on Dante. ”Besides, there is no way that you will stand a chance against me.” He stated simply. ”You are a child compared to me. I don’t waste my time with little kids. That is what you are Dante. You are nothing but a child as I know you were only turned just over one year ago. Me on the other hand…..well I’m not going to tell you how long I’ve been a vampire. All that matters is that I’m stronger than you, and I’ve embraced my vampiric side unlike you. You haven’t even truly embraced your vampiric side yet, have you?” In all the time he had his focus on Dante, the grip he had on Trinity’s wrist had loosened slightly without him realising it. Alexi finally released his grip on her wrist as she had been roughly pushing down between his thumb and index finger.

As soon as Dante could see that Trinity was free from Alexi, he let his vampiric side take over him, and then he launched himself at the other vampire. Alexi was about to go after Trinity after she had caused him to release his grip on her wrist, but before he had the chance, he had seen Dante launching himself at him. Smirking at this, Alexi pushed himself off his back foot as he charged at Dante, and seconds later, both vampires clashed in the middle of the hallway.

"Shut the hell up!" She hissed, continuing to apply pressure. A part of her started to panic. Was she wrong? Was he immune? It made her heart race; a sound that was easy enough for the two vampires to hear. It felt like forever ... but finally, her efforts seemed to pay off. She nearly fell forward on her knees from all the momentum and strength she'd used but managed to remain upon her feet. Shakily glancing behind her, she watched as the two began to fight. Fuck now what?! Her mind raced as fast as her heart was now, trying to think. A light nod left and without speaking up, she darted into a run. Not quite away -- even if that was what it seemed like.

No; quite the opposite. She went up to her first room with her bow and arrow. A frown crossed her lips as she realized she'd have to be careful with her own weapon now. "Tch, annoying ...." She murmured lowly, putting the quiver over her shoulders. She swallowed nervously as she notched two arrows. Keeping them pointed downward - for now - she went back to the hallway where the two were still fighting it out. So far, everything had been easy for Trinity to do. Now ... now was the real test. Pulling carefully, softly back on the string, her eyes then went upon the two vampires.

It wasn't so much her aim that she was afraid of; but knowing both were faster. She didn't dare want to risk hitting Dante; especially with how close he was to Alexi. She kept the string of her longbow back beside her right ear. Her eyes moved between the two and thanks to her more keen senses, she could figure which figure was Alexi and which was Dante. She waited. If there was a chance, regardless of how little or much, that the two remained still, only then she would take it. Ensuring her aim was upon Alexi first, she then allowed the two arrows to fly towards him.

Regardless of whether they hit or not, she reached behind and grabbed two more. Notching them, she pulled the string back beside her ear. She tried to wait for the same type of opportunity once again. Once it came, she allowed the next volley of two arrows to fly. Her hands reached back though by now they were shaking a bit. She had felt confident enough she'd gotten Alexi ... but what if she hadn't? Her head shook as she tried to reach for more arrows; she didn't dare want to think about that.

Dante was glad when Trinity was finally able to get free from Alexi. It was one of the reasons he had launched himself at the other vampire in the first place. He just wanted Trinity to be able to get away from Alexi. Sure, he didn’t know if he would be able to defeat Alexi, but there again, Dante was confident of his abilities, even if Alexi was older than he was. All he could really do was hope that Trinity would be able to get away, mainly because he had to deal with Alexi right now. As he had been fighting with the other vampire, Dante had managed to catch a glimpse of Trinity seemingly making her escape. To start off with, the fight did seem evenly matched as Alexi was managing to match Dante blow for blow. This was actually the first time that Dante had managed to get himself into a confrontation with another vampire. Normally, he would avoid confrontations with other vampires. Now, it wasn’t due to the fact he was unsure of his ability to take them on, it was simply due to the fact he just preferred to avoid confrontations altogether. It was just the way he was really.

The fight continued on for a few minutes more. Dante managed to land a few punches and kicks on Alexi, but much to his surprise, most of his attacks didn’t seem to be causing much damage to the other vampire. Still, he didn’t let this stop him. He couldn’t let this stop him, so he just continued. On the other hand, Alexi’s blows were proving to be slightly more powerful than Dante’s. The two vampires continued their fight even as Trinity had returned to try to help Dante out. Of course Dante had next to no idea that she had actually returned. He had thought that she had managed to make her escape. Well, that was what he had been hoping anyway. Luckily for him, there was at least one of the arrows that had hit its mark. One of the arrows had managed to hit Alexi.

It came as a surprise to Dante when he suddenly saw an arrow whizzing just past his head. Dante knew this could only have come from one person, and as he managed to sneak a quick glance over his shoulder, he could see Trinity just down the hall. His eyes widened as he had seen her, and Alexi used this distraction to take advantage. Alexi wasted no time in balling his hand up into a fist, and he punched Dante hard in the face. This knocked Dante back a few steps, and then Alexi charged at Dante and as he reached him, he lifted him up by the scruff of his neck. He knew just where Trinity was, but he made out as if he hadn’t noticed her just yet. Dante kneed Alexi, catching him in the stomach. This caused Alexi to drop down to one knee, releasing his grip on Dante, but before Dante could follow it up with another move, Alexi had suddenly risen back to his feet, and he had wrapped his hand around Dante’s neck. He turned just as suddenly, keeping his hold on Dante. Alexi held Dante up just in front of him, and also in the path of the two arrows that were flying in their direction. Seconds later, the two arrows finally hit something, but they didn’t hit Alexi. Instead, one arrow had struck Dante in the back of his left shoulder, and the other was closer to the middle of his back. He threw Dante down hard to the ground a second later, smirking as he did so. Afterwards, he turned his attention straight back to Trinity. ”I can only imagine how much that must be hurting lover boy.” He spoke in a mocking tone as he looked straight at Trinity. As soon as he had said this, he used his vampiric speed to quickly close the gap between him and her. He was standing practically nose to nose with her not even a second later. As soon as he was in front of her, he grabbed her wrist quite hard, and then with his other hand, he pulled the longbow from her hand and tossed it to the floor. ”Now, you’re going to be coming with me, and you won’t need these either.” With that said, he also ripped the quiver off her back also, and then he started to drag her down the hallway, walking past Dante who was still writhing around on the floor in pain. As he saw Alexi with Trinity, Dante did manage to get back to his feet, but he was floored once again by a powerful kick to the gut. As soon as Dante hit the floor once again, Alexi slung Trinity over his shoulder and promptly exited Dante’s home, taking Trinity back to his own home.

The sight of one of the arrows connecting with Alex made Trinity feel better. Alas, though, that was very short-lived as the last two hit Dante. "...Fuck! Dante?!" It hadn't been anywhere vital, thankfully... but for a vampire, silver was still just that. A trembling hand covered her mouth in horror and before she could take a third step towards him, Alexi was back in front of her again. She hadn't been able to notch a third set of two arrows either! Her ankle muscles tensed to try to step back ... away. They barely finished doing that simple actions before her bow and quiver were torn off as if they were weak cloth and nothing more. "No!"

A loud growl left as she squirmed against him. "LET GO! NO!" An infuriated hiss left as she watched him kick Dante back to the ground. "That was uncalled for! Urgh!" A low gasp left as she felt herself now hurled over a shoulder; being carried the same way Dante had the first night they met. Her heart raced faster. This ... this couldn't just happen. She had to do something ... anything. But what?! Her mind was trying to match the pace of her heart by now. And in the midst of squirming, she caught sight of the arrow that had pierced Alexi.

Yanking it out from where it originally connected, she thrust it into the back of his kneecap. She had noted he seemed to ignore the silver rather well. But ... that was just from an adrenaline rush ... right? It wasn't because was immune to it? Her head shook. Impossible. If pressure points work, why wouldn't silver? Even if that didn't do as much as she would have preferred, she didn't dare stop moving. She wouldn't .... couldn't. Remembering that the pressure point worked at all, she tried to reach her hands backwards and grasp for the ones holding her ankles. Feeling frantically around for the same spot, she began trying to press down as hard as she could despite the bad angle she was at now.

Even though it may not have looked like it to Trinity, the silver had been affecting Alexi, but because of the fact he was both older and stronger than Dante, its effects on him hadn’t been that apparent. As he had been walking through the halls of Dante’s home with her slung over his shoulder, Alexi had been wincing in pain ever so slightly. So, for him, it was lucky that Trinity was slung over his shoulder, because otherwise, she would have known that the silver in her arrow had been affecting him after all. Of course, he was glad that she hadn’t been able to notice it just yet, and he was hoping that he would have been able to get out of Dante’s home and back to his own without too much hassle. He knew not to hold his breath on that one though. Not only did he know that the silver would only keep Dante down for a set amount of time, but he also knew that Trinity was probably going to make it extremely hard for him to take her much further. Little did he know just how right he was going to be on that one.

He suddenly cried out in pain as he felt the arrow being yanked out form where it had originally hit, and then thrust into the back of his kneecap. ”GODDAMNIT! That hurt!” He yelled after he had fallen down to one knee. For a moment though, he had almost lost his grip on Trinity, but he did manage to keep a hold of her, even if his grip had loosened considerably. Alexi knew that this was going to make it much more difficult for him to escape from Dante’s home now. Well, it would take him longer to escape anyway. As much as he wanted to pull the arrow from his kneecap, he knew that it was going to have to stay right where it was if he wanted to get out of Dante’s home. After all, the chances of him being able to keep a hold of Trinity were slim if he was focused on pulling the arrow out of his kneecap. He looked back over his shoulder to her soon afterwards. ”Now that wasn’t very clever of you, was it? That was very stupid of you Trinity. Just be grateful that I don’t go back there and finish Dante off.” He smirked a little bit and made an attempt to push himself back to his feet.

As he was pushing himself back to his feet, Alexi felt Trinity trying to press down on the pressure points in his hand. He winced in pain a little bit, but he managed to keep a hold on her this time round. Stupid woman. Why doesn’t she just give up and let me take her. She will be better off with me anyway. He rolled his eyes a little bit as he limped down the hallway and towards the window in which he had entered Dante’s home. As he was approaching the window, he looked back over his shoulder towards Trinity, finding it harder and harder to keep his grip on her as she would continue to press down on the pressure points in his hand. ”Would you stop that already?” He was clearly irritated by it now, even though it did appear to be working on him. ”That hurts you know. Besides, I can’t see why you are fighting me so much. You would be better off with me anyway. You will be better off with me and so will your child. Now stop being so damned stubborn, and hold still as I’m trying to kidnap you.” With that said, he climbed through the window and started to walk away from Dante’s home.

Her eyes rolled as she scoffed. "No shit. That hurt did it now? Well damned if I wouldn't know that simple fact given I'm a huntress. I thought you watched me for so long; sounds like you're rather ignorant." Though the grip had loosened from relocating the arrow, it hadn't been enough. Damn close ... which only fueled her anger more. It hadn't been till he brought up the threat of going back and offing Dante then and there. It was true he was capable. But the goal was her. It'd be a distraction to him for one and worse than that, an even better reason for the rest of her potential to fully awaken. With him already wounded, she wasn't sure if even that would be a risk he could afford now. He was already struggling enough as it was ... and hopefully that alone would be a factor on her side. Especially since he'd screamed out the curse ... Dante had - assuming he hadn't passed out - probably heard where they were and been able to guess where they were.

A feral growl left her throat as he continued on, followed by a scoff mixed with a laugh. "You're rather pathetic, asking such things from me. You're limited enough as it is. You kill me, you'll lose what you came for; both of them at that rate. You kill Dante ... just watch. I'm willing to bet that'll help the rest of me wake up. Moreover, who the hell do you think you are insisting I'm better with you?! You wouldn't fucking know that! If every other vampire asked me to lay down and die before you, I'd be just that by now if I were stupid enough and listened. I'm not ... tough shit for you. Spoiled brat ....." She murmured lowly, venom in her voice.

Even while she spoke, she never fully stopped trying to press down. Tell-tale shivers trailing down his body, hisses leaving his lips, his pulse increasing along with a few other things suggested she was slowly working on achieving her goal. It was giving her all the more incentive to keep going rather than stop. Now especially that he'd gotten out of the window, it'd take a lot of effort to get back in with one leg ruined pretty well. Her own heavy pants were leaving her lips as she continued her struggles.

Alexi rolled his eyes as he listened to Trinity speaking. He could tell that she wasn’t too happy, but still, he didn’t really care all that much. All he was focused on was getting Trinity back to his home before Dante was able to get up and catch up to them. Of course, he didn’t really know if Dante had passed out or not, but again, he didn’t really care. It was just like he didn’t care about Trinity. The only reason he wanted her was simply because of what she was…or what she was to become more importantly. Alexi knew just what she would become when her powers would finally awaken. He also knew that despite the fact she would probably know of her heritage now, he knew that she probably wasn’t fully aware of the capabilities that she possessed. Alexi was hoping to help her with that. Whether he had a hidden motive behind wanting to help her was another question entirely, but the chances were likely that he probably did have some sort of hidden motive. He looked back over his shoulder at her once more. ”I may have been watching you for a while now, but that does not make me ignorant. You should learn to respect me Trinity. You are going to be with me for a long time to come, and even if you don’t respect me now, you will certainly learn to, one way or another.” He spoke in a stern tone as he just about managed to clamber out through the window in Dante’s home.

After he had managed to stumble through the window, he almost lost his balance, but Alexi did manage to keep a hold of Trinity. However, she was making it increasingly difficult to keep a hold of her, especially since she was still trying to press down on the pressure points in his hand. Alexi knew that he had to keep a hold of her, because there was no way that he could allow her to get back into Dante’s home. Alexi started to limp away from Dante’s home, doing his best to keep a hold of her. ”Now, don’t you growl at me missy. Anyway, you might not think it now, but I do know what’s best for you Trinity. You really would be better off with me. So what if you are carrying Dante’s baby. I couldn’t care less about him. I can’t even see what you see in him anyway. He’s not a proper vampire. He hasn’t embraced his vampiric side, and I know that because of how easily I was able to defeat him. If anyone is pathetic, then it is him. If you want to be with a true vampire, and one who isn’t afraid of what he has become, then I’m your guy. Not that I’m giving you a choice in the matter.” He spoke in a rather blunt tone as he had said this to her, but he meant everything that he was saying to her.

Meanwhile, back inside his home, Dante had managed to stop himself from passing out, but just barely. In fact, he had been on the verge of passing out when he had heard Alexi screaming out in pain. This had stopped him from passing out, and it had forced him to look in the direction of where the scream had come from. Slowly but surely, he sat and then he managed to get onto his hands and knees. Once he was on his hands and knees, he pushed himself up onto his feet, wincing in pain as he did so. Dante could still feel the arrows in his back and shoulder, and he knew that he had to get them out, so he reached round to the arrow that had penetrated his shoulder. Just as he had done before, he had to slowly pull the arrow through his shoulder, and after doing so, he tossed it down to the ground. ”Damn, that hurt.” He muttered to himself. He took a few deep breaths before reaching round to the arrow that had penetrated his back. Luckily for him, it was just in his reach. He was just able to wrap his fingers around the base of the arrow, and he yanked it out of his back and tossed it down to the ground along with the other arrow. ”Geez, why do those things have to hurt so damned much?” He shook his head a few times, and placed a hand over his stomach as he still felt slightly winded from the blow he had received from Alexi. After a few seconds, he started to head in the direction in which he had heard Alexi’s scream. ”I’m coming Trinity!” He screamed, even though he wasn’t sure if she would hear him or not. Of course, he knew that Alexi probably would have heard him. Dante moved as fast as he possibly could as he made his way through the halls, closing in on Trinity and Alexi.

"....Why should I respect the same person who took my family from me? Unless I've merely got the wrong person .... but I doubt that. Why else would one watch me so long unless they knew where to look for me? And what better way than having traced me to my family?!" Her body trembled, her fists clenching in anger. "Why?! What'd they do to you?!"

Another scoff and simultaneous growl left her lips. "Shove it! How is taking my parents away and me from my lover what's best? True, he hasn't fully embraced his vampiric side .... but he gives more of a damn about me than you will ever will. That's more than enough for me. No ... you know nothing about what's best for me." Her fingers continued direly trying to press down on the same spot, her body squirming all the while.

As he was carrying her from Dante’s home, Alexi couldn’t help but feel slightly irritated with Trinity. He was even beginning to wonder if it would be worth taking her if she was going to be as bad as this. Still, he also knew that he hadn’t been watching her for so long for nothing, so it was just going to be something that he was going to have to put up with. Alexi simply rolled his eyes as he listened to Trinity speaking. Using his free hand, he cupped it over his mouth to stifle a yawn, which was bought on mainly out of boredom. After he had let his hand move back around Trinity’s ankles, he responded to what she had said to him. ”No, you haven’t got the wrong person. I did kill your parents, but so what if I did. There’s not a lot you can do about it now anyway? You should just be grateful that I haven’t killed Dante either.” He paused for a moment before continuing. ”I might just do that anyway. He doesn’t even have the right to call himself a vampire. Not if he hasn’t embraced his vampiric side.” Alexi nodded his head soon afterwards. ”I’m sure you wouldn’t miss him if I finished him off. I did kill the vampire who turned him, so it would only make sense that I kill him too. Anyway, what the hell is a huntress such as yourself doing with a vampire like him? More importantly, what made you fuck a vampire anyway?” Of course, he knew that he probably had no right to be asking such a question, but at the same time, he didn’t really care all that much anyway.

Since he still had her arrow sticking through his kneecap, it was making it difficult for him to move as fast as he would have liked. Alexi was limping through the forest that backed out onto Dante’s home a he listened to Trinity again. He sighed deeply and shook his head a few times. ”Geez, don’t you ever shut up?” He spoke in a clearly irritated tone as he had said this to her. It was clear that she was starting to get under his skin, and it wouldn’t have been too hard for her to pick up on this either. ”To put it simply, I killed your parents because they were going to tell you about your heritage, and I just could not have that. I needed to watch you develop further before you could find out. Besides, when you were to come of age, I was going to take you and mould you into the dhampir I want you to be. That’s just what I’m doing now. I just never imagined that you were going to end up with a vampire, and pregnant on top of that.” He shook his head once more. ”You don’t give it up that easily, do you?” He smirked a little bit at the question, knowing it would probably only anger her further. ”It doesn’t matter if Dante gives more of a damn about you. The only thing I give a damn about is what you are to become……and would you stop trying to break free. You’re coming with me whether you like it or not.” With that said, he continued limping away as fast as he could with Trinity still slung over his shoulder. He honestly didn’t know how much longer he would be able to hold her there, but he was hoping he would be able to keep her there long enough to get back to his own home.

Back in his home, Dante’s heart had started to beat at a faster rate as he had been racing through the halls of his home. He didn’t really know how far Alexi had managed to get with Trinity, but there was no way that he could just let the vampire take her. He had to do something to try to stop him…..again. Dante reached the end of the hall and rounded the corner, and he slowed to a stop as he was sure he had spotted the window where Alexi had gotten into his home. Of course, he was still curious as to how he had gotten inside without being invited in to start off with. That was something that was still bothering him, but he also knew that he had more important matters to attend to. He had to get Trinity back, and that was exactly what he was going to try to do. Dante made his way over to the window, and as he reached the window, he was able to pick up on the scent of fresh blood. It seemed strong, so he glanced downwards, and that was when he saw drops of blood on the window frame. ”This has got to be it.” He whispered to himself. A second or so later, he climbed out of the window. ”Trinity!” He called out as he looked towards the forest. Picking up on the scent once more, Dante darted into the forest, taking off after Alexi and Trinity. He ran as fast as he could, and it wasn’t too long before he had finally managed to catch up to the pair.

"No, you haven’t got the wrong person. I did kill your parents, but so what if I did?"

Her eyes quickly went crimson as she squirmed even harder, another feral growl leaving her lips. "So what?! SO WHAT?! WHY YOU LITTLE PRICK!" That did it ... any and all restraint she'd had was officially gone. Though she had no more arrows, a more sadistic than usual idea quickly came to her. Finally, she did allow her thumbs to press against the knee she'd jabbed the arrow through. With as much pressure as she could muster, she pushed .... hard. What bits of silver remained may simultaneously sting her ... but she was very more than willing to risk it. Besides, it wasn't in a more vital spot. For him .... that could cost him one leg to be out of use long enough. And with the pros outweighing the cons for her ... it made her all the more eager.

"No .... I definitely don't give up ...." She murmured in a venomous and sadistic tone. "And unfortunately for you, I don't give a fuck how many more advantages you may have over me. Huntresses do any and everything to ensure they win. Congrats ... you have all but ensured that is exactly what I will resort to. But hell if I'm letting you take the last couple important things from me away .... my child and Dante. I would gladly take their places before letting you touch them!" She angrily hissed.

As she heard Dante cry out for him, she bit down on her lower lip. She didn't want to return the call and risk his safety. However, another idea also formed into her mind. She bit down as hard upon her lower lip as possible, drawing blood. Keeping her head down near the ground so her fingers could keep pushing against Alexi's wounded knee, she allowed her blood to fall upon the ground so he could use that to keep following them. With Alexi facing the wrong way, he'd never know from sight. He'd have to check the smell out and even by then .... smearing the blood wouldn't hide the scent. It was all feeling more and more like a win-win to her.

Alexi couldn’t help but feel surprised at Trinity’s reaction to what he had said to her. He just couldn’t seem to understand why she seemed so upset by what he had said. Sure, he may have said that he had killed her parent, but he failed to see how that could have upset her so much. There was a clueless look on his face as he had looked back over his shoulder at her. Alexi was about to say something to her when the arrow that was already in his leg was jabbed right through. ”ARGH!! YOU BITCH!” He screamed as he struggled to stop himself from falling down to one knee again. Alexi did stumble a little bit, and he barely managed to keep his balance. This really wasn’t going as he had planned. It wasn’t going as he had planned at all. His injured leg had started to shake already as he had just about managed to push himself back up to his feet once again. As soon as he had managed to push himself back up to his feet, he glanced back over his shoulder at her. ”WHAT THE HELL MADE YOU DO THAT?!” He asked in a clearly angry and irritated tone. ”Is it because I told you that I’m the one responsible for the death of your parents?” He smirked a little bit as he had asked her this. It was mainly due to the fact that he was sure he already knew the answer. ”You make it sound as if I’ve done a bad thing by killing your parents. Can you not see that I’ve actually done you a favor?”

He continued trying to make his way through the forest, knowing he still had some distance to go before he could make it back to his home with her. However, Alexi also knew that he had a better chance of getting back there without too much of a problem, just as long as he was able to get out of the other side of the forest. I can only hope that I can get out of this forest sometime soon. Alexi moved as fast as he possibly could, despite the fact he had an arrow sticking out of his kneecap. Well, he was moving as fast as it would allow anyway, and that wasn’t very fast. He waited until she was finished speaking before he responded himself. ”I’m beginning to get the impression that you don’t give up, and frankly, it’s beginning to piss me off. Anyway, you’re not the first huntress I’ve encountered, and I’m sure you won’t be the last. I know how you and your hunter cronies will do just about anything to win.” He paused for a moment before he continued speaking. ”That doesn’t mean that you’re going to get your way with me Trinity. You can use all the tricks in the book, but that’s not going to change the fact that you’re coming with me, regardless as to whether you want to or not.” He found it hard not to laugh when she had considered Dante important. ”Like I said before, I don’t really care about Dante. It’s just you and your child I am interested in. Besides, it would be no fun for me if you just gave yourself to me to save them. That’s just too boring in my opinion. It needs to be more entertaining than that.” He smirked. ”And don’t hiss at me.” As soon as he had said that, he moved one of his hands from her ankles and he gave her ass a quick, yet somewhat hard slap. After doing so, he returned his hand back to her ankles in an attempt to keep her in place. Of course, he knew that she probably wouldn’t react well to him slapping her ass. He continued on through the forest and looked back over his shoulder as soon as he heard Dante’s voice. As soon as he heard his voice, he picked up his pace as best he could.

Dante continued his pursuit of Alexi and Trinity, running as fast as he could. He had no idea if he would be able to catch them, and on top of that, he also didn’t know how far ahead they really were. Of course, he was hoping that Alexi hadn’t got too far. He was hoping so anyway. Dante was hoping that he was still going the right way, but then he stopped when he started to pick up on the scent of Trinity’s blood also. He closed his eyes and inhaled the scent some more. As soon as he was able to pick up on the scent of her blood, Dante opened his eyes. Since he was just suddenly picking up on her scent of blood, it made him wonder what may have happened to her. Of course, he was hoping that nothing too bad would have happened. It only made him want to catch them faster now. ”That way.” He looked just ahead of him as he picked up on the scent again. ”Wait a minute…..Trinity’s blood….it’s mixed with the blood of that other vampire.” This made him stop to think for a moment. ”Maybe Trinity is using her blood to make tracking her easier.” He smiled a little bit as he thought this over, and then he continued on through the forest in pursuit of the pair.

Thankfully, her hair was in front of her face due to being over his shoulder otherwise he'd have easily seen what she had been doing with her lower lip. She hissed again angrily. "Not just, no. So what if you did?! SO WHAT?! WHO THE FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! TAKING LIVES .... CHOOSING WHO LIVES AND DIES IS NOT YOUR DAMN JOB! AND MY PARENTS DID NOTHING TO YOU!" A sadistic chuckle mixed with a scoff left. "Idiot .... I even warned I don't give up. And you sure as hell aren't getting anything from me without a fight. My body, my child .... anything. Do you not fucking understand? Are you that stupid? I can gladly spell it out if need be though ..... it should be more than easy enough for you - a stronger vampire - to comprehend."

Licking her lips, she felt herself shake as she drew more blood, using her fangs to help make it fall easier and faster. A low "Tch ...." left from the smack of her ass and command of not to hiss. "Fuck off. I do what I want, not what you want!" She retorted, a low growl leaving at the end of her sentence. Then, another mixed scoff and laugh left. "I see ... it makes sense. Heh, pathetic. You're no vampire at all. No .... you're just a spoiled brat. You want me and my child .... so you waltz in and grab me without daring to think of any and all consequences. Fucking pathetic ...." Her head shook, helping her move the blood falling from her lip simultaneously.

With that, she pushed hard again on the back of his knee, not caring on the silver or the fact she was probably making the arrow drive deeper in. No .... this fucker deserved everything he got, every single ounce of pain. And she'd noted how much it had taken for him to stand. She would use any and everything against him. In the midst of continuing to shove against his wound, she allowed another simple phrase to leave her lips, "If you're trying to .... you do not scare me." So far, that was true and because of that, it would definitely add onto killing his pride along with all she was saying and doing to him.

Luckily for her, Alexi wasn’t able to see what she was doing, since he had her slung over his shoulder. If he did know what she was doing, then the chances were likely he probably would have stopped and he would have done something to stop her from leaving a trail for Dante. Sure, he was able to pick up on the scent of blood, but he simply thought of it as being his own. He had failed to notice the fact that her blood had actually mixed with his own. Well, he hadn’t noticed it just yet anyway. The scent of the blood wasn’t really what he was focused on anyway. Alexi was more focused on getting Trinity back to his home. That was all he really wanted to do. Sure, he was taking her there against her will, but he was taking her there regardless of how she felt about it. ”Look, I can’t really see what you are so upset about. I killed your parents, and there’s nothing you can do about it now.” He smirked a little bit. ”If I want to decide who lives and who dies, then I will do just that. I’ve done it before, and I will do it again. You should just be grateful that I’ve decided you can live. I would have killed you already, but I have a use for you.” He spoke in a not so friendly tone as he had said this to her. ”It is true that your parents did nothing to me, but they were going to tell you about your heritage, and I couldn’t have that. I had no choice. I had to kill them.” He said with a simple shrug of his shoulders. ”By then, I had already decided that you were going to be mine as soon as your powers started to reveal themselves, and I’ve gone and done just that. I’ve made you mine.” He smirked some more after he had said this to her, knowing she probably wasn’t going to like it in the slightest.

The more and more he listened to her speak, the more and more he could feel him losing his temper. Alexi just could not believe that she seemed to be mocking him in such a manner. He looked back over his shoulder at her once again. ”YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO SPEAK TO ME LIKE THAT!” He snapped at her. ”You should feel privileged to be in my presence, and I couldn’t care less if you don’t give up or not. You can fight me all you want, but it’s not going to get you anywhere. I WILL get what I want from you. I will get that child that you are carrying one way or another. Do you not understand that? Do you not understand that I always get what I want. No-one has ever stopped me from getting what I want, and don’t you dare think that you are going to be the one to start.” He continued to make his way through the forest, still completely unaware of the trail that Trinity was leaving behind. ”No, you don’t do what you want to do anymore. Now you will do what I want you to do.” He growled a little at her as he continued to make his way through the forest. Alexi was sure that he was getting close to the exit of the forest. Well, he was hoping that he was anyway. After all, he had been making his way through the forest for quite some time now. ”You might think that I’m pathetic, but you should take a look in the mirror sunshine. You’re the one who was dumb enough to fall for the charms of that loser vampire I took you from. As if it’s not bad enough you fall for his charms, you spread your legs and bend over for him. Now, that’s pathetic, and I’m more of a vampire than he will ever be. Just be sure to remember that when you’re laying beside me in bed tonight.” He smirked devilishly as he had said this to her. He wasn’t really sure if he meant it, but he did want to see her reaction. ”Anyway, if I’m not scaring you now, then I better be sure to work on that later.”

Even as he pursued Alexi and Trinity through the forest, Dante was still feeling the effects of the silver running through his system. It really wasn’t helping him in the slightest, and if anything, it was beginning to slow him down slightly. Still, it didn’t stop him from pursuing the other vampire through the forest. It was at this point that he was beginning to feel grateful for the fact that Trinity had thought to leave him the trail of blood. After all, he knew that he probably would have had no chance of being able to successfully follow them without the trail. Well, he would have been able to, but it would have been more difficult. Dante didn’t really know just how far he was going to have to go in order to catch Alexi with Trinity, but he knew that he couldn’t stop. He knew that he had to at least try to catch them, or find out where he was taking her. Dante was determined not to lose Alexi and Trinity, so despite the fact the silver was slowing him down, he continued onwards, following the scent of the trail of blood that had been left for him.

An infuriated hiss left as she grasped the arrow again. Gripping it firmly, she pulled it out from the back of his kneecap now. He was so damn close to giving in with the ability to walk. She could literally feel and sense it by now. And unfortunately, Alexi wasn't the only one whom said what he meant and meant what he said. No .... Trinity was very much like that also. And she would get even more serious to work on proving her points to him. Swinging herself forward, she opened her mouth and bit right above his kneecap. Her hands wrapped around his lower leg tightly to keep herself holding onto her target.

She was done responding verbally. Actions spoke louder than words .... she would definitely prove that saying to be very true. Her fangs sunk as far as they could, hitting every vein and artery she could reach. If he truly wanted to keep holding onto her even during this ..... well, she would certainly commend him. Simultaneously, it wouldn't be wise. It was muffled ... but Alexi could hear the following command. "Let .... go ..... or ..... else ......" The mere suggestion of obeying him, bedding him even only gave her more reasons to bite down as far and hard as she could. She astounded herself a bit ... to be so bold to actually bite into flesh. But definitely not enough to dare stop.

If he would try to be persistent on not letting her go still from the veins and arteries, maybe the threat of bones being reached and possibly broken would. Regardless, he was going to have to do much more than yell at her to scare her or make her begin to listen to him. Whether he had meant the part on trying to bed her tonight, she was certain she didn't want it. And she would do any and everything in her power to prevent that.

As he was making his way through the forest, Alexi could tell that he was getting closer and closer to the edge of the forest. The only problem he had was the fact he couldn’t be sure just how close he was. He was just hoping that he would be able to get there really soon. Despite the fact he was still trying to get out of the forest, he knew that he would already have managed to make it out of the forest already if it wasn’t for the fact that Trinity had thrust her arrow through his kneecap. That was of course making movement very difficult for him. Still, he knew that he had to persevere. There was no way that he could let go of Trinity now. He just had to make it back to his home with her. Right now though, that was beginning to look extremely difficult, but not impossible. The pain he was feeling only seemed to increase as the arrow was yanked from his kneecap. Alexi couldn’t help but wonder just what Trinity was doing, but he soon found out as he felt her swing herself forward and sink her fangs right above his kneecap.

His eyes widened in pain, and he felt himself falling down to one knee. ”Argh…you bitch! Let go, otherwise I’m going to make you let go.” He growled at her as he had said this, mainly because of how much pain she was putting him through. Alexi really did want her to let go, but he knew that if he were to pull her off, then the chances were likely she would probably end up taking a chunk of his leg with here, and that was something that he wanted to avoid. The main reason was due to the fact that he knew even his vampiric abilities wouldn’t be able to heal such a wound. He could hope they would, but it still wasn’t a risk that he wanted to take. Once again, he did all that he could to force himself back to his feet, but it was extremely difficult. It was much harder than it had been the last time he had tried to get back to his feet. As soon as he had managed to push himself back up to his feet, he started to shake his leg back and forth in an attempt to stop her from biting his leg. ”Argh….god damn, get off already.” He growled at her again in the hope it would cause her to release her grip on his leg. Alexi didn’t really wait for her response. Instead, he started to try to make his way through the rest of the forest. By now, he was really struggling to walk, but on the upside, he was able to see the forest exit just up ahead. He looked back over his shoulder to her once again. ”If you don’t let go right now, then I’m going to knock you the fuck out!” He shook his leg back and forth once again, trying to get her off his leg, and then he continued on his way as he made his way towards the forest exit. It was a few moments later that he was finally able to reach the forest exit, and he sighed with relief when he did finally get there. ”Not long until we get back to my home now.” He winced in pain as he continued walking. There were a few times when he dropped down to one knee, but it didn’t stop him from pushing forward.

For a few moments, Dante did have to stop as he was making his way through the forest. Dante still had no idea how far he had to go before he was able to catch up to Alexi and Trinity. All he was able to do was to follow the trail that Trinity had left for him. That really was all he had to go on right now. Dante stopped for a few moments as the silver was starting to get to him again. He fell down to one knee for all but a couple of seconds, and then he looked up ahead. ”I’ve got to keep going. I’ve got to get Trinity back.” He whispered to himself. Soon afterwards, he pushed himself back up to his feet, and then he continued on running through the forest, following the trail left for him by Trinity. It was around ten minutes later that Dante finally reached the forest exit. Still, he hadn’t seen Alexi and Trinity, but he was still able to pick up on the scent of blood and it was leading out of the forest. ”I guess all I can do is follow this trail.” With that said, Dante ran out of the forest and continued his pursuit of Alexi and Trinity. He had no idea where it was going to take him, but he was sure he was going to find out as soon as he reached the end of the trail.

Her own feral growl returned as his left his lips. If he turned back in time, he'd see her middle finger raise in reply to his demands. If he didn't know what that meant, her head shook firmly no in reply to his orders on letting go, hinting that would be the last thing she'd do. An almost more sadistic than usual chuckle left her lips at the threaten of being knocked out. "Tch, yeah right. You're all talk ...." She murmured lowly in a muffled voice, never allowing her teeth to leave his leg. Her arms remained firmly wrapped around his leg, ensuring his shaking didn't accomplish it's goal. She swallowed lightly, catching a bit of blood in the process.

Gods Dante ... please be okay wherever you are. I'm sorry about the arrows .... Her body shook ... in anger, anticipation and some other emotions that she couldn't immediately pinpoint. Then again, she had all but given upon comprehending much. The only thing she was following was her desire to be free. Keeping her fangs sunk deep in Alexi's leg, her arms remained gripped tightly around her new feeding area of sorts. Heavy and deep breaths were leaving through her nose. Her body continued to shiver and shudder violently.

As hard as he tried, he was just unable to get Trinity to release her grip on his leg. Sure, he was shaking his leg back and forth to try to get her off, but it was of no use, especially since she had both of her arms wrapped around his leg. This was also making it harder for him to walk too, but he knew that he was getting closer and closer to his home, even if it was taking him longer to get there. Even though he knew it was going to take him longer to get to his home, he didn’t know just how long it was going to take. Of course, he was hoping that it wasn’t going to take him too long, mainly because he didn’t want Dante to have any idea as to where he lived. Alexi was still under the impression that he had managed to make a clean getaway from Dante’s home. Little did he know that Dante was hot on their trail thanks to the blood trail that Trinity was leaving for him. After all, there was probably no way that Dante would have had been able to follow after them without the blood trail.

The pain he was feeling only seemed to increase as he continued to feel her fangs deep in his leg. Still, he didn’t let it stop him from heading back to his home. He smirked a little bit and shook his head at her comment. ”You think I’m all talk huh.” He nodded his head soon afterwards before he laughed at her comment. ”Just you wait, and I will show you if I’m all talk.” As he continued to walk, he was struggling to keep a hold of Trinity, but he knew that he had to keep hold of her for just a little bit longer. It wouldn’t be too long before he was finally back at his home now. ”I can’t be all talk now, can I?” He smirked again. ”After all, I took you just as I said I would, and you will soon learn that I do a lot of things that I say I’m going to do. Just wait until we get back to my home.” His tone wasn’t that of a friendly one. If anything, it was actually quite threatening. Alexi knew where they were by now. He was making his way across a rather large vineyard, which was something he would normally have to get through before he was able to make it back to his home. He still wouldn’t have made it back to his home after getting through the vineyard though. It was just something along the way that he needed to go through. It was taking him quite some time to get through the vineyard, and beads of sweat were dripping down his forehead as he continued to struggle onwards.

Dante still wasn’t sure exactly where he was going after he had found his way out of the forest. He looked from his left and then to his right, wondering just where he could be going. It was at this point that he really did feel grateful for the blood trail that Trinity had been leaving for him. After all, he knew that he would have absolutely no idea where to go otherwise. Hold on Trinity. I promise I won’t be long. I just hope he doesn’t hurt you. He couldn’t help but feel concern for her. He just wanted her back, and he couldn’t help but feel bad for not being good enough to protect her. ”I will get you back Trinity….I can promise you that.” He whispered to himself as he continued running after them.

A frustrated hiss left. It was clear he wouldn't fully stop or give in. Besides .... if he wanted to try to prove her wrong, she would need as much strength as she could keep. Yanking her fangs out, her arms unwrapped from around his leg as she, somewhat reluctantly, allowed herself to remain slung over his shoulder. The adrenaline rush must have been one hell of one because as she blinked, it dawned on her just how much blood was beginning to rush to her head. Son of a.... She felt herself shake and even with all the times she was blinking and trying to force herself to remain conscious, it was only doing so much.

But she wouldn't black out without allowing Dante more ways to find her. Besides, if she had to pass out, she'd do so on her terms, not Alexi's. Panting and shuddering, she roughly dragged nails across both her palms. With now three locations bleeding and leaving a path for him, she hoped it'd be enough. Be ...safe.....Dante .... Her eyes went through REM for a bit ... before they finally remained closed. A weak groan and then her body finally going still hinted she wasn't awake anymore.

Of course Alexi was waiting for some sort of sarcastic remark from Trinity, considering that was just about all he had gotten from her so far. Alexi continued on his way towards his home, and as he did, the walk was a slow and painful one. He looked back over his shoulder at her, totally unaware that she was no longer awake. ”Oh what, so no sarcastic remark then?” He smirked a little bit after having said this to her. Considering everything that she had said to him up until now, it was only something he had come to expect from her. It was at this point that he also noticed she had released her grip on his leg, and he couldn’t help but sigh with relief as it did make the walking back to his home that little bit easier. Not that much easier, but it was made a little easier. Still, he had no idea that she had fallen unconscious, and without saying anything else, he continued walking towards his home.

Alexi continued on towards his home, making his way across the large vineyard. Of course, he didn’t manage to do it without feeling the pain from the wound on his leg. I will be glad when I can finally get back home. This bitch really is more trouble than she’s worth. H couldn’t help but growl just a little bit as he continued walking. It was around fifteen minutes later that he finally saw his home coming into view. Just like Dante, Alexi also lived in a rather large mansion. A rare smile formed on his face as he walked up to his home, and he made his way inside soon afterwards. Closing the door behind him, the first thing he did was to head straight up the long flight of stairs to the second floor. Alexi walked along the hallway, and he made his way to the end of the hall before turning to a door on his left. He pushed the door open to reveal a relatively small and empty bedroom. Sure, it was one of the many spare bedrooms he had in his home, but it was nowhere near the size of the bedroom Dante had first put Trinity in. It was painted in a plain white colour. The room also wasn’t as nicely decorated, and it didn’t have as much in it either. It happened to be one of the smaller spare bedrooms that Alexi had in his home. He walked over to the bed in the room and threw her down on the bed. Alexi was half expecting her to turn around and say something to him and he stood there for a few moments when she said nothing. After a few minutes passed, he tilted his head to the side as he looked down at her. Moving towards the bed, he grabbed her by the shoulder and turned her over on the bed, and it was as he was doing this that he noticed she had passed out. He smirked a little bit at this. ”Ah, well that’s why she wasn’t saying anything.” He laughed before he turned around and he found a chair in the room. Grabbing hold of the chair, he pulled it over to the bed, but before he sat down, he walked back over to the door and locked it from the inside. After doing so, he walked back over to the chair and sat down and watched her as she slept.

Meanwhile, Dante was still hot on the trail of Alexi and Trinity. He was still following the trail of blood that she had left for him, and by now, he had come across the large vineyard that Alexi had passed through some time ago. Due to the fact he didn’t have an arrow through his leg, he was able to get through the vineyard much quicker than Alexi, and because he was still able to pick up on the blood trail that had been left for him, he continued heading in the direction of Alexi’s home. Dante still had no idea where he was going, but as long as he was able to pick up on the scent of Trinity’s blood, he knew he must have been going the right way. Dante never stopped running, despite the pain he was feeling due to the silver coursing through his system. He would stop every couple of minutes, just to make sure that he was still heading in the right direction. When he was sure that he was still picking up on the scent of blood, he would continue his pursuit. It was around ten minutes later that Dante was finally able to come across Alexi’s home. He stopped and looked up at the large mansion before tilting his head to the side slightly. ”Who the fuck lives here?” He whispered to himself. Dante closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. His eyes remained closed for a few moments, and when he opened them again, he was looking straight at the mansion in front of him. ”Trinity….she’s inside.” He looked up at the mansion in front of him once more. ”That vampire must live there.” He folded his arms across his chest, looking up at the mansion for a few minutes more. As much as Dante did want to get Trinity back, he knew that he wasn’t strong enough for the other vampire right now. He felt his heart breaking inside as he realised what he had to do. I’m sorry Trinity….I promise I will be back for you….please forgive me. He took a few steps back before turning around and he started running all the way back to his home.

Thoughts - dreams more like - of the unborn child flooded Trinity's mind. But for some reason, she couldn't see the gender. But she heard herself stating in the dream it was definitely a hybrid. Not realizing she actually did so in reality, she cringed, fearful for the child. Knowing all so far that Trinity had to endure ... her child would have too. It pained her, moreso with her having so little knowledge on dhampirs. How was she supposed to help her? What could she do? Her head shook slightly. Don't think like that .. She tried to convince herself. You have time to do research ..... But when all was said and done, it was hers and Dante's child. That alone made her content enough.

Her heart seemed to race and even in her unconscious state, the feeling of eyes upon her was being noted. It made her own quickly open and her sit up. Glancing around the new room, her eyes finally rested upon Alexi. A glare crossed her face as she remained sitting up. Idiot move! Don't just stare! Something .... was holding her back. Fear? Maybe though not for herself. For her child and Dante. If she ran and led him back to the latter ..... she'd never forgive herself for anything bad happening to him.

Finally, her head rested upon the pillow again, merely turning away from him. She had nothing to say to him ... even if he did. Her eyes closed as her head remained gazed away. Maybe this could be like a controlled dream ... it would all go away if she just made it? It was overly hopeful she knew.... but she did not want to think on the here and now.

Alexi remained sitting in the chair as long as Trinity had remained unconscious. He honestly had no idea how long he was going to be sat there waiting for her to regain consciousness, but he was glad when he finally saw her stirring. When he saw her open her eyes, that same smirk returned to his face as she had sat up and glared at him. He had actually expected her to say something to him, but at the same time, he wasn’t too bothered when she didn’t speak. He wasn’t too bothered, mainly because he had expected some sort of snide remark to come out of her mouth. That was all that ever seemed to come out of her mouth anyway, so it was what he had come to expect from her. Even after she had regained consciousness, Alexi didn’t really move from his chair. He remained in the chair and just watched her as she had laid back down and turned away from him.

He continued to watch her for a few moments more before he eventually decided to say something. ”Cat got your tongue huh?” He teased, smirking still. ”You had enough mouth on you when I was bringing you here, but now you’ve gone all quiet. What’s up with that?” He folded his arms across his chest before he got up from the chair. ”You’re going to have to talk to me eventually, because you won’t be going anywhere in a hurry. It’s not as if Dante knows where we are, and despite what you did to my leg, I’m pretty sure I lost him before getting here, so don’t go holding your breath that he’s going to show up and save you.” He turned towards the bed as he had said this to her, and as he did, the smirk never seemed to leave his face. ”Even if by some miracle, he were to find this place, there’s no way that he would be able to get you back from me anyway. I will just defeat him as I defeated him back at his home.” He paused for a moment after this, and then the smirk on his face widened some more. ”No, I don’t think I will defeat him this time round. I think I will do both you and him a favour, and I think I will kill him instead. That way, you will be stuck with me whether you like it or not. You and your child will be stuck with me. Don’t worry too much though, as I will be sure to feed you. I wouldn’t want you to die on me now, would I? And just in case you haven’t figured it out already, you are going to be here for the foreseeable future. You’re not going anywhere. You’re mine now. You and that child of yours.”

By the time Dante had finally managed to make it back to his home, he wasn’t feeling as much pain as he had been before. When he got back to his home, he entered through the same window he had jumped out of when he had been in pursuit of Alexi. As soon as he was inside, he turned around and closed the window behind him. Dante was breathing a little heavy as he made his way back through the hallways, and it took him a few minutes, but he was eventually able to get to the main living room. He pushed open the double doors and stepped inside, and then he walked over to the couch and sat down. He sighed softly to himself as he leaned back into the couch a little bit. He tilted his head back and looked up towards the ceiling. Dante closed his eyes for a moment as he exhaled slowly through his nose. He opened his eyes a few seconds later. ”I’ve got to do something to get Trinity back…..I have to.” He sighed softly to himself soon afterwards. ”I couldn’t beat him. I need to get better….I need to improve…I need to train…hard.” He whispered more to himself. He nodded his head as he knew now what he had to do. Dante knew that he was going to have to train himself, but he just didn’t know how long he was going to have to do the training.

Her eyes remained firmly closed though she slowly began running fingers along the formerly self-inflicted wounds. All already healed ... good ... Unless he'd smelled the blood earlier and just not spoken up, now all evidence that she had been certain enough of having been able to have led Dante to them was gone. In fact, it made her own smirk show up when he said the opposite was true. Tch, fucking idiot.... To her knowledge, he hadn't used any of his senses much if at all. That definitely got her wondering. He was more than capable ... so that wasn't it. Was he just that arrogant and smug? Oh if so, it would be hilarious to bring him down then. The bigger they are indeed .... She merely mused, a low chuckle unable to help but leave by now.

Her eyes finally opened as her head shook from side to side. "You truly are a pathetic, spoiled child. That's it." She would only leave it at that. If he figured out anything on his own, that would be one thing. But she'd personally avoid leaving too many innuendos and hints for him to figure out why she was taking her own turn to be so arrogant. "What makes you so sure there will be a next time for you?" Her eyes rolled as an annoyed scoff left her lips. Well no shit he better ensure he lives .. especially if she's needed to be alive.

A low growl left. "I will say this once .... and only once. Don't take me for a fool. You're gravely underestimating me. What knowledges and areas I lack in .... I greatly make up for in many, many other areas." Though her eyes were open, her gaze never dared to go upon him. He didn't deserve any respect and he wasn't getting it from her. And that went for any and every possible thing Trinity could think of. It would start from the very basic gestures to the more complicated ones.

Alexi was about to turn to walk out of the room when he finally heard her speak again. He turned back around to face her, and he had that same arrogant smirk plastered across his face again. He couldn’t help but laugh at her as he listened to what she had to say. ”Okay, so I’m the pathetic one.” He spoke in a rather sarcastic tone as he had said this to her. Of course, he didn’t think that he was pathetic. If anything, he actually thought that she was the pathetic one. There again, he was sure that he had already told her this, but it came as no surprise to him that she hadn’t listened to him. Alexi hadn’t really expected her to listen, and he didn’t think she ever would listen to him. Still, it didn’t really stop him from hoping though. Alexi knew one thing for sure. He knew that keeping her with him was going to prove to be interesting. Well, he certainly thought it would be anyway.

Turning towards her, he moved over towards the bed, and he stopped just in front of the bed. Alexi had his arms folded across his chest as he was looking down at Trinity. ”By the way, I’m sure there’s going to be a next time for me, mainly because I know that dumb boyfriend of yours will try to save you like the good boyfriend he is.” He laughed in a rather sadistic way as he had said this to her. ”And when he does try to save you, I will be ready for him. Only this time, I will take my time taking him apart, and if I’m feeling generous, I may just let you watch me as I kill him.” He started to rub his chin with his thumb and his finger in a seemingly thoughtful manner. ”That’s still something I’m thinking about though. I mean I am going to enjoy taking his life when he tries to save you. It’s going to be really fun. I think I might enjoy taking his life more than I enjoyed taking the life of the vampire who turned him. I just hope Dante is able to give me the type of challenge that his sire gave me right before I killed him. I’m hoping so anyway, but I’m not going to hold my breath.” That same sick smirk was still plastered across his face as he continued to mock Dante. ”I don’t really care what you say Trinity. You are a fool. It’s as simple as that. You’re just a huntress who was dumb enough to let a vampire get her pregnant. I’ve gone up against tougher opponents compared to you, so you don’t worry me. You don’t worry me at all.” He folded his arms across his chest as he limped back over to the chair that he had been sitting in once before.

"....All talk, like I said ...." She merely murmured, chuckling lowly as she allowed herself to lie back down, though this time on her side with her back facing him. Trinity began to take calming breaths through her nose, knowing the worst thing she could do now was cause herself to lose her unborn child. .... Or would it be better? Her head shook no lightly. Tch, don't be fucking stupid. Of course it wouldn't be. He's right .... Dante will be back. Then again, as long as he was given enough time, she wouldn't worry herself too much. After all, that alone would also aid out in his downfall; allowing Dante any time at all. The more she noted his seemingly easy to point out weaknesses, the less she was fearing it. It nearly made her chuckle aloud just to realize.

"Tch, likewise. You're not afraid of me ... fine. I'm certainly not of you though." She could have easily gone on a hell of a rant on how she had such a low chance to get pregnant ... but it wouldn't matter, she knew. The fact was simple; it'd still happened when all was said and done. Her eyes closed as a low sigh left. She tried to sleep ... voluntarily, at that matter. But knowing he was so close to her made it much easier said than done. A low hiss left, "Do you mind?! Like you've noticed ... I'm with child. And even though I'm not far along, I'm tired. So go the hell away."

Alexi simply rolled his eyes as he listened to Trinity speaking. It was unbelievable just how much she was able to get underneath his skin. He did feel really tempted to just kill her there and then, but then he knew he also needed her alive. The fact he needed her alive really didn’t make him too happy at all. At the same time though, he knew there wasn’t too much he could do about it right now. Not only was she a born dhampir, but she was also pregnant with a child that had the potential to be a born dhampir also. There was also the possibility that the child could be something more than just a dhampir. Since Dante was a full vampire, and Trinity was a born dhampir, Alexi couldn’t really be sure just what the child was going to be. It was one of the reasons he knew he was going to have to keep her alive, no matter how much she annoyed him. He wanted to find out what potential her child was going to have when it was born.

He simply laughed at her as she told him how she wasn’t afraid of him. A sadistic smirk soon formed on his face a second or so later. ”Well you might not be afraid of me now, but that can always change in the weeks to come.” He smirked some more as he had said this to her. ”Not only will you learn to fear me, but you will also learn to respect me. You might not think it yet, but believe me when I say you will learn to both fear and respect me. It’s just going to take you some time, but that doesn’t matter anyway. After all, you won’t be going anywhere in a hurry.” He turned on his heel and laughed once again as she had asked him to leave. ”I don’t mind at all, and it’s hard not to notice that you are with child. Still, I’m assuming Dante doesn’t know yet. Anyway, I will go for now. Maybe it will give you time to think about the rest of your life that you are going to be spending here with me. I’m sure we are going to get along like a house on fire…..well at least we will after you learn to forget about Dante.” He shrugged his shoulders a little bit after this, and then he made his way out of the room and closed the door behind him.

Meanwhile, back at his home, Dante was still recovering from the effects of the silver that had been racing through his body. By now though, he was starting to feel a little better compared to earlier. The effects of the silver were starting to wear off, and his wounds had managed to heal up too. Dante remained sitting on the couch for a further thirty minutes before he eventually got up to his feet. Once he was on his feet, he walked out of the living room, and the first thing he decided to do was to head straight for the gym. Dante knew that he was going to have to make himself stronger if he wanted to stand any sort of chance against Alexi, and he also knew that he couldn’t really waste any time. Dante walked through the twists and turns of the hallway until he had reached the gym. When he got to the gym, he wasted no time and he quickly started training.
