Seeking Revenge... [Yuna&MysticSparxman's 1x1]

Finally, he listened to her on something. The sound of the door closing was a blessing to her ears. It allowed her to be more honest with herself. She shivered, holding herself. It wasn't yet him she was afraid of though the unknown, she was definitely. Slipping under the covers, not allowing even her shoes to be removed, her eyes relaxed more as they stayed closed. Now that she knew she would be alone long enough .... safe enough .... she could begin to sleep. As much as part of her wanted to believe that she could wake up and Dante would have saved her .... she knew that would not happen. Not overnight. With time though? It was definitely possible. A low yawn escaped her lips as more and more of her body began to relax.

It pained her ... but she realized in order to ensure this child remained alive, she would have to be careful of several factors. Her temper was one; this did not mean, however, she would stop telling Dante all she thought of her. No, quite the opposite. Her hands wrapped gently around her stomach and her breaths became more and more steady and peaceful. Were it not for the fact she was pregnant at all, she wouldn't even try to sleep. Not here ... not like this. It made a small whimper leave knowing once her consciousness slipped, her body and life were going to be completely at Alexi's mercy. Her head quickly shook no.

At worst, maybe you wake up bound. But he can't go too extreme even. Dante .... please ..... do what you need to. I'll wait for you. With her last thoughts and prayers leaving her, she allowed herself to - even if somewhat reluctantly - fall asleep.

After he had left her room, Alexi headed down the hallway and turned left at the end. He started heading up the next hallway and he stopped about halfway down the hall. When he stopped, he turned to his right to face a set of large wooden double doors. Alexi pushed them open to reveal his bedroom. It was probably one of the largest bedrooms in the mansion. It had a king sized four poster bed against the far wall, and the room was a royal blue colour. The curtains and also the bed covers matched the colour of the walls, and various pieces of bedroom furniture were scattered around the room. There was a walk in closet to his left side, and then there was also a door leading to a bathroom that was connected to the room. There was a huge flat screen television up on the wall, and there was also a stereo system in the room too.

Pushing open the doors, Alexi stepped inside his room and he let the doors close behind him. He was still wincing in pain as he limped over to his bed. Alexi managed to reach his bed a few seconds later, and when he did, he sat down on the side of the bed, and then he shuffle further backwards onto the bed. He winced in pain once again as he had shuffled backwards onto the bed. Alexi shuffled back onto the bed until he had reached his pillows, and when he did, he laid down and pulled his legs up to his chest a little bit. Alexi didn’t really know how long his wound was going to take to heal, mainly because of just how bad it was. He glanced down towards his leg and growled a little bit when he saw what Trinity had done. ”Damn that bitch! Taking a chunk out of my leg like that. She should be grateful that I haven’t killed her yet.” He growled once again before he rested one hand behind his head. After doing so, he looked up towards his ceiling.

Day one with Alexi had altered into four. It had been nerve-wracking for poor Trinity but through not much more than wits and will power, she was keeping herself sane and calm enough. She'd been keeping to herself in the room, refusing to speak to Alexi. She was given hints he truly did need her alive via nutrition and eating, thankfully, as she now had another reason to eat besides for herself. But it did not alter her feelings for him at all. It was but a pretty gesture and behind that and his fake smirk were so many lies. She knew perfectly he cared nothing for him. Why would he begin to start now?

Thankfully, the past three days were merciful. The mix of the silver and her slow but steady awakening of her dhampir side had caused more damage than he had obviously anticipated. It made her unable to help but smirk proudly. The sight of him being forced into a half-limping and half-walking state was also awakening a very sadistic side that had swollen up with a lot of pride. She wasn't full like him or Dante; so to see her cause that much damage to her enemy ... there was something very satisfying about that knowledge. Alas though, all good things must come to an end; that was the old saying. And she now knew it to be true. She could almost feel and hear him not too far off.

Her body remained still. Thankfully by now, also, the morning sickness had ceased mostly. So she had also been able to regain her strength. Then again, her wounds had been healed for quite a while. Her eyes closed, her teeth biting down to keep a whimper from leaving. It was still only the unknown that truly frightened her ... but it was enough. She would give the guise of seeming asleep .... and hope like hell he'd leave her alone. Go the fuck away .... She could hear the simple but powerful command constantly repeating in her mind.

Four days had passed since Alexi had taken Trinity back to his home. In those four days, he had managed to recover from the injury he had sustained because of Trinity. Sure, it had taken him longer than he would have liked to recover from the injury, but he had still managed to recover. Because of how long it had taken him to recover from the injury, it did make him wonder just what she would really be capable of when she had managed to fully awaken her dhampir side. The fact she had yet to fully awaken her dhampir side made him wonder just how powerful she would be. It was why he was determined not to let her go anywhere anytime soon. In fact, he was determined not to let her go…..ever. In his opinion, she was his now, and there was no way that she would be leaving him. Not if he had anything to do with it.

Alexi made his way down the hallway that would take him to Trinity’s room. He wasn’t really heading towards her room because he wanted to; he was heading there because he had to. Alexi was heading to her room because he was taking her some food and drink. If it was up to him, then the chances were likely he would just have let her starve, but he couldn’t do that because he needed her alive. Alexi didn’t like her at all. In fact, it would have come as no surprise to her that he may even have hated her, but that was just Alexi all over. He hardly ever liked anyone. It took him a few minutes to get to her room, and when he did, he pushed open the door and stepped inside. As soon as he entered the room, he looked over in the direction of her bed, and from what he could tell, it looked as if she was asleep. Alexi walked over to her bed, and then he set the tray of food down on the bedside table. His eyes moved down to her on the bed, and he shook his head back and forth a few times. Turning on his heel, he turned around and walked back out of her room. He closed the door behind him, figuring he would return to her room in a few hours when he was sure she would be awake.

Meanwhile, back at his home, Dante had been training non-stop for the past four days. He had changed the whole of his daily routine just so that he could train both his mind and his body. Training was just about the only thing that Dante had been doing since he had lost Trinity to Alexi. Sure, he would feed and sleep when he needed to, but other than that, he had just been training. Having just climbed out of the shower, Dante picked up a towel and dried himself off. Afterwards, he simply put on a pair of boxers and a pair of three quarter length shorts. Walking out of the bathroom that was connected to his room, he proceeded to make his way out of his room, and then he walked down the hallway that would lead him to the spiral staircase that would take him back to the ground floor. When he got there, he walked down the stairs before he started to make his way along the hallway that was going to take him to the gym. It only really took him a few minutes to get there, and when he did get there, he wasted no time in starting up his training routine once again. To start off with, he started to use one of the weight machines that was in the gym. Dante spent around thirty minutes on the weight machine before he moved onto the rowing machine that was in the gym.

Trinity's heart raced while Alexi remained in the room. For a few minutes, she feared that would give away she had been faking sleep. Thankfully, he left after a few minutes. Only when she was damn sure that he was out of earshot did she allow a sigh of relief to leave her lips. Slightly trembling hands grasped the tray and laid it in front of her. Bowing her head in a silent prayer for thanks for the food, she then began to eat. Normally she wouldn't have due to where she was, but her pregnant state was all but begging her to do it. She usually wound up eating at least four, maybe five, meals per day with needing to take care of an unborn child.

Inhaling again, she lightly growled. "Probably not till I'm halfway through ... " She murmured, lowering her head. She'd tried to detect the gender but had no luck. She'd be happy for either, personally; just as long as she seriously was not here still when she gave birth. Her mind had been doing any and everything to avoid thinking of that. But with all the days that had gone by, it was easier said than done to ignore. Her head shook lightly. "Four days is nothing. Don't think like that ... " She reassured herself, moving away strands of hair from her face while she ate.

Once she was done, she set the empty tray back where she had found it and laid back down. She wouldn't fake this time. Her eyes remained upward and towards the ceiling. Dante ..... She'd give anything to be able to speak to him, telepathy or otherwise. But few, if any, vampires even got that ability. And with her being a hybrid, there was an even lesser chance that she had it. A low groan left as she held herself, turning on her side so when Alexi returned, he would first see her back lest he went to the other side.

Alexi didn’t really know just how long Trinity was going to be sleeping, which was why he had turned and walked right back out of her room. Of course, had he known she had been faking sleep, then the chances were likely he would have stayed in her room to talk to her some more. Sure, he knew that she couldn’t stand talking to him, but at the same time, he wasn’t really the type of vampire to care. In fact, he didn’t care about anyone or anything. The only thing he did really care about was himself. He saw no reason to care about anyone or anything else. He hadn’t for a long time now. After he had left her room, he headed back down the hallway, and he followed the twists and turns in the hallway until he had managed to reach the spiral staircase that would take him down to the ground floor.

Making his way down the stairs, Alexi reached the bottom soon afterwards. Once he was at the bottom of the stairs, he made a left turn and started to walk down a different hallway. He walked down this hallway for a minute or so, and then he made a right turn at the end of the hallway. This led him to a set of glass sliding doors at the end of the hallway. Pulling open the glass doors, Alexi stepped out into the rather large gardens that sat behind his home. Turning around, he closed the doors behind him before he walked further into the gardens. Even though he wasn’t the friendliest of vampires, Alexi did still like to spend time out in his gardens. In fact, when he wasn’t out draining the life out of his many different victims, or if he wasn’t threatening to kill someone, then the chances were likely he would be out in his gardens. This was just one of those times when he wanted to spend some time out in his gardens. Alexi didn’t really think that he would spend too much time out there, mainly because he was going to have to check back on Trinity to check to see if she was awake or not. For the time being though, he was going to spend some time outside.

Her head remained upward before her attention was turned towards something; the sound of silence. She went quiet herself, making sure she wasn't hearing things or imagining them. Her heart raced more as she slowly pushed herself to a sitting up position on the bed. Swallowing lightly, she couldn't help but wonder ... would this be an opportunity for her? Her head shook; while it was there, no sense in wasting it. Slipping off the bed, she tried to keep her footsteps as light and soft as possible. Fuck if I'm remaining here too much longer .... She inwardly cursed, continuing to steadily make her way out of her 'room' and towards the front door. And then .... that was when her heart sank.

Shit! I wasn't even conscious! Her heart raced more and a bit of panic took over. Biting down on her lower lip, she kept her eyes and ears wide open. Maybe .... the layout is similar enough to Dante's? She hoped, beginning to navigate through it as if she were back with Dante. With every twist and turn she made, Trinity kept her senses more keen than ever to avoid having a run in with Alexi. She wanted freedom and Dante ... not him.

As he had moved outside into his gardens, Alexi had no idea that Trinity was already awake. Of course, if he had known that she was actually awake, then the chances were likely he wouldn’t have left her room. He definitely wouldn’t have come out into his gardens, that was for sure. The last thing to cross his mind was that she would attempt to escape. Sure, he had taken her against her will, but he didn’t really think she would be stupid enough to attempt an escape. Well, he did think that she would at least make an attempt to escape; he just didn’t think she would attempt it so soon. After he had made his way out into the gardens, Alexi walked deeper into the gardens until he came across a large fountain that was in the gardens. Just beside the fountain was a bench. Sticking his hands into his pockets, Alexi walked over to the bench and sat down. Looking up towards the sky, there was a smirk playing across his features. Haha, I’ll bet her dumb boyfriend is still looking for her right now. Not that he’s ever going to find her of course. I am going to make her mine…..whether she likes it or not. He narrowed his eyes a little bit as he thought about this.

Meanwhile, Dante had been training relentlessly since he had headed into the gym that day. Finally, the time came for him to take a break. Sweat was dripping off his body as he walked out of the gym and headed back through the different halls until he was able to reach the kitchen. The trip from the gym to the kitchen had taken all but a few minutes. The first thing as soon as he was in the kitchen was to get himself a drink. Dante walked over to the kitchen cabinet to the left of the kitchen sink. When he got there, he stretched up to the kitchen cabinet, which was just above him, and he pulled it open. Dante reached inside and pulled out a glass before closing the cabinet once more. He wasted no time in filling the glass up with water. Moving over towards the kitchen table, he pulled out one of the chairs and sat down. Dante sipped on the water, emptying about half of the glass at once. After doing so, he set the glass down and leaned back into the chair. It was at this point that Dante thought of something, even though he had no idea if it would work or not. Trinity…..Trinity….I’m not holding my breath that you’re going to be able to hear this. I know where you are now….so thanks for the trail you left for me. I promise you I will be coming for you, but I have to prepare myself first. Just hold on for a little while longer….please. Of course, he had no idea if Trinity would actually be able to hear him or not. He was hoping she would, but he really wasn’t going to hold his breath. She was a dhampir, and she was only just coming into her powers, so he didn’t know if she would be able to hear him or not. Still, it didn’t stop him from hoping.

A low curse left Trinity's breath. Even with him gone ... out of the way .... I can't fucking find the front door. Ugh! She turned angrily on her heels, allowing her fist to impact a wall. Her body shook as she lied back down on the bed. Tears of anger and pain formed but before they could begin to fall, a voice got her attention. "...Dante?" She murmured, a bit confused. After some concentrating, she felt as if she could hear his mind perfectly. She blinked, astonished. Really? She'd gotten telepathy somehow? The more she began to lose her focus, the more she felt the connection nearly break. Her head shook as she forced herself to maintain the mental connection.

....Dante? That .... that's really you? A shiver trailed down her body as she held herself. I ... I'm glad that got noticed. I ... I know you will. What I was going to say before Alexi showed up was .... She paused and he would hear a soft sigh before she resumed her confession. ".... Dante .... I'm pregnant. Do ... do what you need to. I'll wait for you.

Her head fell upon the pillow as she slid under the covers. Trembling hands still firmly held herself. Even as her eyes closed, she refused to allow the tears to fall. No, she wouldn't allow Alexi to find her horrified or sense her true emotions on all that was happening to her. She wouldn't give him any form of satisfaction ... not if she could prevent it. Steady breaths continued to leave through her nose as she silently - patiently - awaited to hear back now that he knew why she had felt so horrid and acted so odd to him the past week about now. He did deserve to know somehow and while this hadn't been her preferred method of communication, she would accept any possible way to speak to him, especially more if he could remain safe.

Alexi remained sitting out on the bench in his gardens, mainly because he was enjoying being outside. Not only that, but he was still under the impression that Trinity was sleeping. Now, even though he didn’t like her too much, he did think it would have been better just to let her sleep. Alexi thought this for a number of reasons. Firstly, he had thought it due to the fact it would mean he wouldn’t have to put up with her giving him some lip, and secondly, he had thought it because of the fact she was pregnant. Despite the fact he didn’t know too much about humans, Alexi did know one thing. He knew that pregnant women needed their sleep, and he also knew that they could sometimes sleep for hours. This was why he figured he would sit out in his gardens for a little while. Just how long he was going to spend out there, he didn’t really know.

Sitting at the kitchen table, Dante hadn’t really held out much hope that Trinity would have heard him speaking to her…..or at least attempting to speak to her. Dante was just about to push out his chair and get to his feet when he heard her voice in his mind. There was suddenly a surprised look upon his face as he heard her voice. Soon, a smile formed on his face as he was positive it was actually her. Trinity…..it’s actually you. He smiled some more as he came to realise that it was actually her. It’s really me Trinity….I didn’t think you would be able to hear my voice, but I’m so glad you have….I really am. He paused for a moment before he continued. I wouldn’t have been able to locate you if it hadn’t have been for that trail of blood you left for me. As she told him that she was pregnant, he fell silent for a moment as he let the information sink in. It was a few seconds before he finally responded to her once again. You’re pregnant? That’s great Trinity, it really is….but I had no idea I was actually able to make you pregnant. The surprise in his voice would have been obvious for her to hear. I’m so happy though, I genuinely am. I promise that I will try not to keep you waiting for too long. I just have to do what I need to do to improve myself for my next confrontation with the other vampire. I cannot allow myself to be defeated so easily this time. I’m going to train until I am ready, and then I’m going to come for you Trinity. He sighed softly to himself, but it still would have been audible to her. I promise you that you will be back with me before our child is born. Dante meant everything that he was saying to her. He was just hoping that he would be strong enough to defeat Alexi when the time would finally come.

Even while lying down, Trinity never fully allowed her guard to be let down or senses to fade. Without fully knowing where Alexi was ... she did not want him to find out that more and more of her dhampir abilities were waking up. Especially not the telepathy ... she shuddered as numerous ways this could be used against them both came to her mind. Trying to thrust the fears aside, her smile widened as Dante spoke again. Allowing her hands to unwrap from around herself, she grasped a phantom one, as if he were there beside her corporeally. A low sigh of relief was heard when he took the news of being a father in a better light. Shock would have been understanding if he allowed it to remain dominant in him and for a bit, it did seem like it would. But the joy that was soon heard made her realize he wouldn't focus only on that.

I didn't either, love. I barely know what I'm capable of still, honestly. It's a bit .... frustrating. A low chuckle was heard before she continued. I'm glad to hear you too. Maybe ... this can help me stay sane while I wait. Yeah .... I kinda had a feeling on that. Hence why I went through with the trail to begin with. I guess ... now that we know I'm a dhampir, the chance for ... pregnancy is probably easier as opposed to a full human. It makes more sense. I .... Her head shook no. I .... can wait as long as is needed. You're going to need to do any and everything to ensure next time you see him, things will go smoothly.

Her head looked up in thought. While she had this ... maybe she could help Dante prepare. A light smirk crossed her lips and she paused to make sure that she was still alone first. Nodding to reassure herself, she altered the subject. I'm not sure if he's only doing this with me ... but Alexi hasn't been using his senses much with me. He didn't seem to smell the trail I left behind, he failed to note I was faking being asleep earlier .... and he's got more than ample capabilities to do all of this. Use that as a possible weakness along with his ego. I ... don't know where he headed off to though, so if I abruptly stop, it's to ensure he doesn't hear this.

Her hand squeezed tighter on the phantom one as she added softly, I miss you. I'll keep you informed on everything .... especially our child and tips for dealing with Alexi.

Alexi remained outside for the time being, and as he took a look around his gardens from where he was sitting, he closed his eyes and exhaled slowly through his nose. Since he was still outside in his gardens, not only did he have no idea that Trinity was awake, but he also had no idea that she was communicating with Dante. Of course, he really wouldn’t have been too happy about this if he had known, but at the same time, there wouldn’t have been too much he would have been able to do about it anyway. There was no way that he would have been able to supress her newfound telepathic abilities, mainly because they came naturally to her as a born dhampir. After sitting on the bench for a few minutes more, Alexi got back to his feet and stuck his hands back into his pockets. He turned away from the bench and started to walk around the gardens at a relatively slow pace. Because he didn’t think she was awake just yet, he figured he could take his time in walking around his gardens.

Dante couldn’t help but smile as he heard Trinity’s voice in his head once again. He listened to what she had said. He had made himself comfortable back on his chair in the kitchen, and he laughed a little bit as she told him how she barely knew what she was capable of. I don’t really know what you are capable of either love, but we will find out in time, I can be sure of that. It seems you are a born dhampir, so it is possible you could possess abilities that normal dhampirs do not possess. However, that is just a theory. He didn’t really know if this was true or not, which was why he had said it was just a theory. I feel so much better now that I can hear you, I really do, and now I know where you are, I just need to bide my time before I come for you. I honestly didn’t think you would be able to get pregnant, but I’m glad you have now. I didn’t think I would be, but I genuinely am, and if this pregnancy is going to be different because you are a dhampir, then I will make sure you are back with me again soon.

Pushing out his chair, Dante rose to his feet before making his way back over to the sink. When he got to the sink, he refilled his glass. Turning off the tap, he turned on his heel and walked out of the kitchen. Dante made his way down the hall and stopped off at the main living room. Since the doors were already open, he just stepped inside and walked over to the couch. Dante sat down on the couch, and set his glass down on the coffee table in front of him. After doing so, he leaned back against the couch, making himself a little bit more comfortable. It was at this point that he heard Trinity speaking again, and as he did, he tilted his head to the side slightly as she told him about Alexi and how he wasn’t using his senses much. This was something that Dante wasn’t able to easily understand. Hmm, well that’s odd. I don’t know why he wouldn’t be using his senses with you, but even if he isn’t using his senses with you, I would still have thought that he would at least have picked up on that blood trail you left earlier. He paused for a moment before he continued. Unlike me, he must already have fully embraced his vampiric side, so his abilities should be stronger than mine. Still, that doesn’t explain why he wouldn’t be using his senses. I just can’t seem to figure out why he wouldn’t be using his senses. It doesn’t make much sense to me. Anyway, he must still think you are sleeping, which could be why he hasn’t returned to the room he must have placed you in. The chances are likely that he will return sometime though. He sighed softly to himself as he gazed up towards the ceiling. As he did, he closed his eyes for a few moments.

His lips curled up into a small smile as he reopened his eyes again. I miss you too…I miss you so much. I just wish you could be here now, I really do. Just be careful when you’re speaking to me, because you don’t want Alexi to find out that we are able to keep in contact with each other.

Glancing back around, an idea came to Trinity. It seemed weird that it may somehow fit Alexi ... but not impossible. Noting a window, she pulled the curtains carefully away, ensuring not to reveal her face. Sure enough, as she looked out, she found him walking around in a garden. A light snicker left her lips as she let go and lied back down upon the bed. Her hand pretended to squeeze the phantom one again as her eyes closed, paying heed to all Dante was saying. She allowed the words to repeat a few times in her mind, thinking on all he had said. Going in order of all he asked and mentioned first, she then began to reply.

It's very possible, yes. Alexi's outside for the time being. We should have quite a bit of time for now. Deciding that while she knew better what was happening, this would be the best chance to take any and every advantage. Another would be the layout of this mansion. Getting up to her feet, she began walking softly from room to room, peeking inside and taking note to memorize which was which, where they were located, and even where they were located. Continuing to walk through the halls, keeping her steps light, she glanced up in thought.

A smile crossed her face as she nodded in agreement. Yeah, it is good to hear from you. It's not my preference but it is better than nothing. A low inward sigh could be heard as her eyes closed for a few seconds, reopening in time to find the set of stairs leading down to the first floor. As she descended, she rubbed her stomach gently, wondering on that part. Well ... if dhampirs are half-human technically ... I may have about half the time to carry this child. So ... four or five months, give or take a few? Even if he does have a library here, I'm not going to hold my breath for him to allow me to use it. So I'll trust you to find that out and relay it to me, as I'm doing with other things to you.

Her steps got even lighter upon arriving at the first floor. As far as she knew, the door that led to the gardens was probably on this floor somewhere. And in case that was true, she would need to be even more careful about exploring here. Her head nodded again as she moved some of her bangs away from her eyes. Yeah ... that's exactly why I found it weird, especially with the trail. Capability wise, he should have picked up on it easily. So unless he did and just has been feigning ignorance .... but no. I ... it's weird to think of but I really think he's been failing to use his senses at all. Failing to take me seriously will easily be a downfall for him. Yeah, I'm sure he will be also. He can't remain outside forever after all.

A low yawn left her lips as she managed to rather quickly finish up with the exploration of the mansion; at least the most vital parts she would need to know. Heading slowly back to her designated room, she allowed herself to lie back down on the bed. Her hand grasped around the phantom one yet again as her eyes closed. I know ... trust me. I've thought on the consequences. I don't intend to let him find out. Be careful .... and do all you need to in order to ensure things are in your favor when you come for us. I'll wait for you. Her voice - mental and aloud - were both getting soft, suggesting the fatigue part was beginning to take over her.

Even with the words being soft, they were still clear for Dante to hear. Now and forever .... I love you, Dante..... She gently pulled the covers back over her body, her eye remaining shut for the time being. Now, at least, she would definitely not be feigning. If anything, it was quite the opposite now. Ah well ... she'd gotten a lot done and she was feeling rather accomplished at the moment.

Alexi continued to wander around his garden, and even though he knew he should start thinking about heading inside, he didn’t quite feel like it just yet. He wanted to stay outside for a little bit longer. After all, he didn’t really think that Trinity was going to be awake yet. There again, he didn’t really know how long a pregnant woman would normally sleep. Even though he didn’t know how long they would normally sleep, he did think that they would probably sleep for quite some time, which was why he hadn’t bothered to head back inside just yet. Instead of heading back inside his home, he stuck his hands into his pockets and headed deeper into his garden. As he had headed deeper into the gardens, he would take a look around at all of the flower bushes, and just about everything else that he had in the gardens. I wonder just how long she is going to be sleeping for? She can’t sleep forever. She’s got to wake up sometime. He thought to himself as he continued to make his way through his gardens.

Dante shifted a little bit on the couch as he listened to Trinity’s voice in his head. Well, I hope he stays outside for a little while longer. I’ve missed talking to you so much, and I know we might not be able to talk face to face, but this is better than not being able to talk to you at all. I never really thought I would miss anyone as much as I’m missing you right now, but I do….I know it’s only been four days….but I want you here with me. It’s so different without you here. The place feels…..empty without you. It’s why I’ve done nothing but training over these past four days. He sighed softly to himself as he had said this to her. Dante had never really felt this way about anyone before, so he didn’t really know what to make of his feelings. If anything, they confused him a bit. Dante couldn’t help but feel surprised when she had told him how long her pregnancy could possibly be. Four or five months? That’s not long at all, especially to carry a child. Don’t worry too much as you will be back here with me long before our child is born. He paused for a moment before he continued. I also doubt that Alexi will allow you use of his library, should he have one in his home. I will be sure to look into dhampirs some more. I do remember one book that I saw in the library. It did say something about dhampir pregnancies, but when I saw it, I didn’t pay it too much attention, mainly because I never suspected you would actually be a born dhampir. I will be sure to inform you of anything that I find.

Sitting forward on the couch, he picked up his glass of water before leaning back into the couch. After doing so, he sipped some more on the water before nodding his head as he listened to Trinity. It certainly was odd that Alexi wasn’t using his senses. Dante failed to understand it, no matter how hard he tried. He should have picked up on that trail, so I don’t know why he didn’t. I don’t think he would be feigning ignorance though. I think if he had picked up on that trail, he would have let you know about it. Judging from his attitude when he was here……and when he took you, I just get the feeling that he would have enjoyed rubbing it in if he had picked up on that trail. He would have enjoyed letting you know. Why he wouldn’t use his senses, I really don’t know. I don’t know any other vampire who wouldn’t use their senses. The chances are likely it could be where he is just failing to take you seriously. It could be where he is just underestimating you. He might not think that your dhampir abilities have started to come through yet. I really have no idea to be honest with you, but you’re right as that will be his downfall. He nodded his head as he had said this to her.

Dante knew just how risky it would be if Alexi were to find out that Trinity was communicating with Dante. Sure, he was glad that he was able to talk with Trinity now, but he didn’t want her to be put at risk because of it. Dante had no intention of stopping his communication with Trinity now that he had found a way to talk with her. He was just hoping that it was going to be something that they would be able to keep from Alexi. He was hoping so anyway. Whether they would be able to keep it from him was another question entirely. All we have to do is be really careful, and if we are, then I see no reason why we can’t continue to talk like this. We should be okay just as long as Alexi doesn’t find out, but I know you will be careful, so I’m not too worried about him finding out. Don’t worry too much though, because I intend to do all that I can to make sure that things go my way when I come for you. I’m not going to stop training until the day I come for you. Hopefully I should be strong enough by then…..hopefully. Dante was hoping that he was going to be strong enough to take on Alexi by the time he decided to try to get Trinity back. He was hoping he would be strong enough, but at the same time, he also knew that he wouldn’t know if he was strong enough until he was able to take Alexi on again.

His lips curled up into a small smile as he heard those three special words from Trinity. I never thought I would say this Trinity….but I love you too, and I always will do. He spoke in a softer tone this time, but she would have known that he had meant what he had said to her. Dante also noticed just how soft her voice had gotten, which told him one thing. She was tired. If you are tired, then rest my love. We can talk again later. I just wish I could be with you to hold you in your sleep. I will be thinking of you. He said in that same soft tone.

I do too though I doubt he'll be away much longer. Or, if he does, he truly is a fool for giving me this much time alone. A smirk crossed her face as she sighed softly. She'd give anything to stop pretending to hold his hand and actually do it. Her desires to be with him had the dhampir feeling restless despite being tired. Her head shook no lightly; she needed to eventually try to get rest again even though she herself didn't like sleeping so long. But she knew it would be needed. Her head moved lightly up and down, as if she were nuzzling someone. I know. I miss you too. A small and nervous chuckle was heard. I know it isn't long, love. Though with any luck, my logic will - hopefully - be wrong. Still, we'll worry about that bridge when it shows up.

A low hiss left her lips as her stomach clenched. She was getting hungry again. Standing up, she headed swiftly over to the kitchen. After a quick glance around, she just poured herself some cereal. She had chosen this to be able to get rid of any hints she had seemed to sneak around while he was out. Once she was done eating, she cleaned everything and put it back in it's respective spot. Light footsteps could be heard through their link as she slipped back into her new 'room'. Her head shook no as a low chuckle left.

Honestly ... that's fine. In a way, I owe him for underestimating me. It just makes things easier for us. Like they say, the bigger they are, the harder they fall. Her eyes closed again as she slid back under the covers. Her chest began to rise and fall, her breathing get softer. Her smile widened more as she heard him say back he loved her. She had been close to passing out before Dante spoke up again. ....Very well. I hate feeling this tired though. Ugh. Take care, love. You're always on my mind and in my heart.

Allowing the connection to finally leave, she let a low yawn leave. With each passing second, she felt herself getting closer and closer to falling asleep once again. Her hand pretended to grasp and hold his. The same signs from earlier became more obvious. Her breathing got even lighter, her pulse slowing to a calmer pace, her chest continuing to rise and fall slowly.

Sighing softly to himself, he listened to Trinity, knowing that she was right in saying Alexi wouldn’t remain outside for too long. Of course, he was hoping that the other vampire would stay outside long enough for him to talk some more with Trinity. He was hoping so anyway, but he really wasn’t going to hold his breath. I don’t think he will be away for much longer either….no matter how much I hope he does stay away. It’s just because I’ve missed talking to you so much, and now that we have found a way to communicate….I don’t want to stop. Still, I agree that he is a fool for giving you so much time alone. There again, he believes you to be sleeping. He must not know how long pregnant women must sleep for, which could be why he has left you for so long. I can’t really complain though, as it is giving us this chance to talk. There was a smile on his face as he had said this to her, and it was a smile that didn’t seem to want to disappear either. As much as he knew he was going to have to train some more before he could even attempt to get Trinity back, it didn’t really stop him from wishing that she could be back with him right now. It surprised Dante as to just how much he really missed her. You are right, my love. I doubt your logic is likely to be wrong about this, but as you have said, we will worry about that bridge when it shows up.

Slowly, Dante rose to his feet with a smile on his face as he heard the last thing that Trinity had said to him. Sleep well, my love. You will always be in my thoughts, and in my heart as long as we are apart. He spoke in a slightly softer tone as he had said this to her. It was soon after this that he had felt the connection between the both of them leave. Dante didn’t really want to cause Trinity to lose out on any sleep, since he knew she was going to need it now more than ever, especially since she was carrying their child. Once on his feet, Dante picked up his glass of water, turned on his heel and walked out of the living room. Figuring he still had the rest of the day to get back to his training, Dante decided to head on over to the main library in the hope he would be able to find the information needed for Trinity. He was sipping on his glass of water as he had made his way towards the library, and it took him just over five minutes before he was able to get there. When he got there, he pushed open the large double doors and stepped inside, allowing the doors to close behind him. Dante walked deep into the library. The first thing he did once in the library was to sit back down at the same table he had been sitting at with Trinity the day she had been taken. The books they had been studying were still there on the table. Dante sat down at the table, and reached for the first couple of books on dhampirs. Dante started reading through the book a second or so later.

Meanwhile, back out in his garden, Alexi had started to get tired of walking around his gardens. ”She must be awake by now.” He muttered to himself. Clasping his hands behind his back, Alexi turned back towards his home, and he started walking back through the gardens. It took him a couple of minutes before he was able to get back to the glass sliding doors that would lead him back inside his home. When he got there, he pulled them open and stepped back inside, turning around to close the doors behind him. After doing so, he walked back through the twists and turns of the hallway. He reached the spiral staircase that would take him up to the second floor a matter of minutes later, and unclasping his hands from behind his back, he stuck them in his pockets instead. Alexi started to climb the stairs, and when he had managed to reach the top, he walked along the second floor hallway until he had gotten to the room he had placed Trinity in. Alexi pushed open the door and glanced inside. As soon as he saw her still on the bed, he rolled his eyes a little bit before closing up her door once more. Geez, she’s still asleep. What a piss take. He shook his head back and forth a few times before walking back down the hallway and back towards his own room.

By the time Alexi had come to check up on her, Trinity was on the very edge between being conscious and not. It took so much to avoid chuckling when he walked away. Fucking idiot .... The soft laugh she had wanted to let leave her lips did so in her mind instead. He took his sweet time, he hasn't used his senses ... he better start reconsidering that there are more reasons to take me seriously. I'm not too far away yet, I can and will still fight back if and when needed. Her hand barely trembled as it pretended to grasp the phantom hand once again.

Now she had to consider .... whether to actually allow herself to fall asleep or not. She probably should. Regardless of whether Alexi would allow her to sleep or not next he checked upon her, she would need all her strength. And she could feel now that mentally, not all of it was there. If she could just be allowed enough time to regain that focus and ability back ... she would be ready to face him. True, he hadn't done anything yet. But if he truly refused to .... well, he truly would be a more incompetent vampire, full blooded especially. No doubt it'd be interesting to some degrees, but the Hunter side of her would definitely get bored and quickly.

Yes, even though she was technically the hostage, her persona and job side of her couldn't dare forget for one second what she truly was. He'd also made the mistake of only disarming her. She'd been silently astounded to see he kept them in tact rather than snapping all of them in half. Ah well, his loss, very much my gain. Another inward chuckle echoed in her mind and finally, she allowed herself to give in and fall completely asleep.

It had irritated Alexi quite a bit when he had returned to Trinity’s room, only to find that she still appeared to be sleeping. There had been a part of him that had been hoping that she would have been awake. There again, he didn’t really know why he had been hoping that she may have been awake. This was mainly due to the fact he had a feeling she would have been mouthy and somewhat sarcastic with him if she had been awake. As it had done before, the chances were likely that this would have wound him up again. Of course, he had no idea that she had actually been faking sleep, just so that she wouldn’t have to talk to him. Alexi had genuinely thought she had been asleep the whole time he had been out in his gardens. He still thought she was asleep when he had returned to her room to check on her. Now, he had been tempted to step into her room, walk over to her bed and quite possibly shake her a little bit, just to see if she really was asleep or not, but then he didn’t think that would have been such a good idea. He didn’t think it would have been such a good idea, mainly because he thought it only would have made her even crankier if she had been asleep and he had woken her up. It was why he didn’t really bother.

After he had made it back to his room, Alexi sat down on his bed for a few minutes. He leaned back on the bed a little bit and tilted his head up towards the ceiling in thought. Alexi closed his eyes momentarily, sighing softly to himself. ”Hmm, I wonder what I’m going to do with her?” He muttered to himself. ”As much as I want to….I can’t kill her.” He opened his eyes before rising to his feet. Once he was on his feet, he walked over to the balcony door not too far from his bed, pulled it open and stepped outside onto the balcony. Alexi walked over to the balcony and rested his arms on the balcony railing. ”Well, at least I can’t kill her as long as she is pregnant….maybe afterwards, but then that still means I’m going to be stuck with her sarcastic ass for at least another four to six months.” He shook his head a few times before sighing softly to himself. Alexi found he didn’t really like the idea of having to spend so long with someone like Trinity. At the same time though, he also knew that he didn’t really have a choice in the matter. Not if he wanted that child that she was carrying inside of her. That was all he was really interested in right now. After all, he knew the child was going to be part dhampir and part full vampire. Of course, he didn’t know what type of abilities this would give the child, but that was why he wanted the child, so that he could find out what it would be capable of. ”That child will be mine, and hopefully by the time it is born, that bitch would have come around to my way of thinking.” He couldn’t help but let a small smirk form on his face at the thought. ”Yes, that child will be mine. She will be mine, and Dante will be dead.” He let out a sadistic laugh before turning on his heels and walking back inside his room. After doing so, he closed the door behind him, walked across his bedroom and straight out of the bedroom door. This time though, he didn’t head back towards Trinity’s room. This time, he headed down the hallway and down the stairs. His destination was in fact the kitchen.

While Trinity slept she saw ... literally, nothing. It had been like being stuck in a white Void. No one was seen and nothing was heard. It was unnatural and too eerie for her. She tried to ignore her surroundings, deciding that at least nothing bad was happening was enough of a blessing. After a while, it shifted and soon a dark void surrounded herself. Slightly shaking arms held herself, in the real world and her sleep, as the change happened. What the hell is this? Or am I just overthinking? She wanted it to be the latter ... but it felt too simple to her. A shiver trailed down her body as she held herself tighter.

Part of her wished the silence would be broken and yet another didn't want that, fearing it would be something she wouldn't like. These Voids were scaring her quicker than Alexi had begun to do and finally, she woke up with a start, gasping and panting. Her head rubbed and as she caught hints that the kitchen was being used, her stomach clenched. "Goddamnit .... " She murmured lowly, feeling that the snack she'd gotten without consent earlier had worn off and she was hungry once again. She should go down and join him ... but the last thing she wanted to see was Alexi.

Still, there were no guarantees he was getting anything for the both of them and that alone was almost enough to consider it; if for no other reason, for her unborn child. Her head shook as she stood up. She'd been delaying on doing something but now, her greasy hair was driving her nuts. She hadn't wanted to risk Alexi seeing her nude body but .... fuck it. She needed a shower, even if not in her preferred place to take one. Slipping out of the bed, she went through the drawers and grabbed a clean tank top, pair of jeans, bra, and panties. Placing those upon the sink, she then turned the water on. Waiting for it to get adjusted to the right temperature, she then slipped in after removing the dirty clothing.

A low chuckle left as the water began to cascade down her body. If he doesn't hear this ... he truly is hopeless .... She wouldn't outright announce she was awake. If he couldn't detect the simplest feints - like when she had pretended to be asleep - nor hear the sound of a running shower, he had no right to call himself a vampire. Definitely not in her eyes. He seemed weaker than herself, with his senses at least. He'd already proven - unfortunately - it wasn't true in the physical aspect. Then again, he'd need more than that and what she lacked in melee fighting, she made up for in wits. It'd been how she'd been able to hide what bits of fear were surging through her during this stay.

Still, there was no point on dwelling on that now either. Shoving the thoughts aside, she exhaled deeply as her body focused upon the warm water. Moving her head back slightly, she began to grab the soap and begin to wash her body.

Even though he had initially ventured into the kitchen to get himself something to eat, Alexi knew that he would probably have to get something for Trinity to eat too. He didn’t really like the fact he had to feed her so often, but at the same time, he also knew that he couldn’t really let her starve to death either, especially when he thought about just how long she was going to be spending with him. It was her child that he wanted after all, and there was no way that he was going to get it if he didn’t bother to feed its mother. Even though he didn’t really want to feed her, it wasn’t as if he couldn’t. He did have more than enough food for the both of them after all. All he really had to do was to figure out what he was going to get for the both of them. ”Hmm, I wonder what I should get her this time?” He rubbed his chin with his thumb and his finger as he walked around the kitchen. ”Not that she will probably even eat it. The ungrateful bitch.” He muttered this part more to himself, and then he shook his head a little bit as he had continued to walk around the kitchen, searching for something that he could make for her.

In the end, Alexi decided that he would make her a chicken salad. Alexi didn’t really know if she would like it or not, and frankly, he didn’t really care less. It just made sense to him to make her something fairly tasty, and also somewhat filling. Luckily for him, it didn’t really take him too long to gather the things together, and it didn’t really take too long to make the chicken salad itself. It only took him a little over ten minutes to make it all for her, and he did himself a simple sandwich. Sure, he would have done himself something more, but he couldn’t feel bothered to. Besides, it wouldn’t have been too hard for him to come back into the kitchen later if he wanted something anyway. As soon as he had made the chicken salad for her, he ate his sandwich, and then he put the chicken salad onto a tray and walked from the kitchen. Now, Alexi didn’t know if she was going to be awake or not, but he was hoping that she was. After all, she had been sleeping for quite some time now. Well, at least he was under the impression she had been sleeping for quite some time now.

Walking from the kitchen, he walked back along the hallway and straight up the stairs. Once he had reached the top of the stairs, he followed the few twists and turns along the second floor hallway until he had managed to reach Trinity’s room. He stopped outside of her door and pushed it open without knocking. Sure, he could have knocked on the door if he wanted to, but he really didn’t feel like it. Pushing open her door, he stepped inside her room, and the first thing he did was to look towards the bed. He tilted his head when he saw that she wasn’t in the bed, but then he turned his attention towards the bathroom as he was sure that he could hear the sound of running water. Walking over to the bedside cabinet beside the bed, he set the tray down, and then he sat down on the edge of her bed as he waited for her to come out of the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Dante had been sitting in the library, going through book after book on dhampirs in the hope he would be able to find out the information Trinity had asked him to find out for her. He had already gone through quite a few books, and he still hadn’t found the information on dhampir pregnancies. Sure, Dante had been able to find out a number of different things on dhampirs, but he was still looking for the information on dhampir pregnancies. ”Damnit, which book was it in again?” He muttered to himself as he had continued going through the books. Dante did remember finding information on dhampir pregnancies in one of the books, but his only problem was the fact he couldn’t remember which book it was exactly. ”It’s in one of these books….I know it is.” He said as he finished going through one more book. After doing so, he picked up the next book, set it down in front of him and started going through it in the hope he would be able to find the information he was looking for.

After thoroughly washing her body and hair, she shut the water off and in time to hear Alexi's footsteps. She was glad that she took the extra clothes with her. The worry about him seeing her nude would be gone at least. After drying herself off, she slipped into the panties, bra, jeans and tank top. The aroma of food was now detected and she inwardly sighed. Normally, she would be a bit more picky. But in her state, that was the last thing she could afford to be. Just as long as it wasn't raw or tuna, due to the mercury content and that being unhealthy for the unborn child. Otherwise, she could have most other things to eat. Swallowing softly, her feet finally guided her out of the steamy bathroom.

Her eyes refused to meet Alexi's as she took the tray and silently sat upon the bed. Moving strands of her hair away, she began to eat the salad. At most, she gave him a light nod to quietly thank him. But that would be all he'd get from her. Her focus tried to remain on her food despite knowing perfectly Alexi was still there. Her mind tried to stay blank, moreso as a thought came to her. Did he have telepathy? Or some way to read her mind? Regardless, she wouldn't take that risk. He'd find out way too much, especially regarding the talk she'd just had with Dante.

It pained her to not think of her lover, but she knew things would get much worse before better if he dared find anything out. As the salad disappeared from the tray, she set it back down upon the bedside mantle. Biting on her bottom lip, she forced her eyes to look up into Alexi's. Still, she said nothing to him. But if she could help it, she wouldn't allow him even a chance to see the slight hints of fear. True, they were mainly about the unknown factors, especially in regards to what would happen to her. But he wouldn't see it ... not easily. He'd have to stare past her eyes, into her soul. And lest he could do such a feat and Trinity didn't know ... she felt confident that until he could make her afraid of him, she would be able to keep her guise up.

She swallowed softly, not sure what to say to him. Steady breaths left through her nose as she kept eye contact with him, trying to study him and figure out his intentions, what to expect from him, some sort of a tell. Nothing was coming ... not yet. Her heart raced as she silently stared Alexi down.

When he had made his way into her room, Alexi had been glad to notice that Trinity was finally awake. Of course, he didn’t really know how long she had been awake, but he was just glad that she had finally woken up. He didn’t really know that she had been faking sleep the whole time, but whether he would have said anything if he had known was another question entirely. After he had made his way into her room, he had set her food down on her bedside table and waited for her to emerge from the bathroom. Alexi didn’t really know just how long he was going to be waiting, but he had been hoping that he wouldn’t be waiting for too long. Luckily for him, he wasn’t really waiting for too long. Well, he didn’t think he was waiting for too long anyway, especially when she had emerged from the bathroom.

As she had sat on the bed and taken the chicken salad he had prepared for her, Alexi simply sat on the bed and watched her intently as she sat and started picking at the salad. It came as a surprise to him that she had decided not to say anything to him, mainly because he had been expecting her to say all sorts to him after coming out of her bathroom to find him sitting there on her bed. Still, he said nothing about it, and he just watched her as she ate her food. His eyes met with hers as she had turned her attention back to him. There was a small smirk on his face as her eyes had met with his, but still, he noticed that she said nothing. Since it didn’t appear as if she was going to say anything, Alexi thought he would take the initiative and say something himself. ”It’s nice to see that you actually took the time to eat that chicken salad. It took me long enough to prepare it for you.” Of course he knew that it didn’t really take him too long to prepare it at all. ”And it’s nice to see that you’re finally awake. I know you might be knocked up, but I didn’t think you would sleep for so damned long.” He sighed a little bit before shaking his head at her.

Soon afterwards, he adjusted his position on her bed. ”Now, since you’re not going anywhere in a hurry, I guess that means you are going to need some new clothes. After all, I can’t have you wearing the same clothes day in, day out now, can I?” His eyes travelled up and down her body before meeting with her eyes once again. ”It’s not like you are going to be seeing Dante again anyway, so you should just get used to the fact that you are going to be staying here with me from now on. After all, not only does he not know where you are, but you’ve got absolutely no way to communicate with him.” His lips curled up into a smirk as he had said this to her. Of course he had absolutely no idea that she had been communicating with Dante. It was just like he had no idea that Dante actually knew where she was too.

She did something that already would look somewhat weird but hopefully not bring up too much suspicion; but Trinity remained deathly silent whilst he spoke. Every single word she heeded, partly to note them. But the main and most vital one behind the act was she needed to. And once he brought up his arrogance on being so damn sure she'd never be able to speak to Dante again, it was things like that she had needed to hear. Now that he brought it up, she would have to choose her words carefully, as perfectly as possible. The wrong reply and reactions would give her away. Knowing for certain she had to help Dante out by stalling, this would be one way to go about it; to ensure he could have more than ample time to come back and get her out of here. Unfortunately, with neither of them knowing just how long that would take, she would have to keep stalling for - she assumed - a while.

Letting everything that Alexi said echo through her mind first, she inwardly nodded before going through with the first - and much easier part - to reply to. There was no way to even begin to bullshit her answers; they were all 100% genuine and thought up in a matter of seconds. Her arms crossed in front of her breasts as she scoffed, "Idiot, I'm eating for two people. I can't overly afford to be picky now can I?" Her own smirk crossed as she shrugged lightly. "It helps to read up on things you don't obviously know of. Women is definitely one it sounds like."

She swallowed a bit as he moved a bit closer but made no move to back away. Not yet; it would take more than merely closing any gaps between them. Besides, she'd promised herself to not give him any satisfaction - especially of knowing deep down, there was a part of her that was scared - though of any kind was also true. Her eyes rolled at the first part. "Nah, I can wear the same things over and over." She retorted, sarcasm clearly in her tone. "Fuck sakes how are you not the naive dhampir, hm? You're the most pathetic excuse for a vampire I've met in all my years of hunting. You have the 'high and mighty' bullshit act going for you but in the end ... that's it. Deep down, you barely know much more on anything else and you severely underestimate your opponents; especially non-vampires. You proved that while dragging me back."

At most, she blinked a few times but never allowed her orbs to leave his the entire time she spoke, knowing this had to be worse than the hardest slap she'd love to give him. She would have were there a guarantee she wouldn't get a punch or worse back. And with her carrying an unborn child .... no. She wouldn't risk the safety of a complete innocent. Herself? Maybe. Her unborn? Never.

"Really though ... what did you expect, hm? Me to just stay over your shoulder and behave? Tell me .... how many hunters have done that for you? If you can seriously answer a number besides zero .... " Her head shook. "Well .... good for you, I guess. You found the most pathetic humans - assuming that's all they were - in existence. However, I have shown you a couple things. For one, I'm not a full human myself. But more importantly, I'm definitely not like them. Nowhere near. So you get used to realizing a one major thing. You're not gonna be able to be the usual, spoiled child you can be with others. You're not getting every single thing you want. That fucking clear?!"

The last words came out in a venomous hiss. Just as her eyes remained upon his, her smirk was as wide as his own by now. But with the words she'd chosen, there was no matching reason. No, those were all in her mind and she doubted he had a way to go through her memories as if an open book. Or, like the idiot he had been appearing to be, he wasn't using that ability. All Trinity knew was her mind hadn't ached or hurt abruptly, one of the easiest tell-tale signs of a mind being forced and gazed into without the owner wanting it.

Shifting a little bit on her bed, Alexi sat up and folded his arms across his chest as he listened to what she had to say. Alexi couldn’t help but roll his eyes as Trinity was speaking. Soon, his lips curled up into a small smirk. ”So what if you are eating for two people. For all I know, you could just have developed a sudden appetite without being pregnant. Anyway, I can’t see why I would need to read up on women. There really isn’t too much to know about women, is there?” He rolled his eyes and shook his head as he had said this. ”All women are the same anyway. They go out at the weekend dressed in slutty clothing, they like to get drunk, and they’ll fuck just about any guy who wants it.” He shrugged his shoulders a second later. ”That really is all I need to know about women. They are all the same, and you are no different.” He smirked.

Alexi couldn’t help but laugh as he had noticed the sarcasm in her voice at the comment of being able to wear the same thing over and over again. Of course he knew that she wouldn’t really be able to wear the same clothes over and over again. Still, it didn’t change the fact that he wasn’t too happy about having to spend money on her. That really was the last thing that he had wanted to do. At the same time though, he also knew that he couldn’t have her in his home without a change of clothes. ”Yes, I know you can’t wear the same clothes over and over again, and as much as I don’t want to, I guess I’m going to have to buy you some new clothes. Of course, I’ve probably got better things to be spending my money on, but what choice do I have in the matter? After all, you won’t be going anywhere in a hurry, and it’s not as if I’m going to let you go back to Dante’s to get yourself some more clothes.” He paused for a moment to think over his last statement, and then his smirk returned. ”Actually, I could do that, but then I would just have to take you from him again. Now, as fun as that would be, I think it might be better just to buy you some damned clothes.” Hearing what she had said next to him caused him to stare straight into her eyes without saying anything for a few moments. ”You look so sexy when you’re angry.” He laughed a little bit before he continued speaking. ”I’m not sure how long you have been a hunter, but you couldn’t have been a hunter for that long if you think I am the most pathetic excuse for a vampire you’ve met in all your years of hunting.” He shook his head. ”I don’t have to act ‘high and mighty’ to know how good I really am.” He spoke with an arrogant sort of cockiness to his voice. ”I’m better than most vampires out there. I’m definitely better than your lover, Dante. I’m just not using any of my abilities because I really have no reason to. You are just a dhampir discovering her abilities, and Dante…..well, what can I say about him? He has not embraced his vampiric side, so not only has he no right to call himself a vampire, but I also saw no reason to use my abilities on him. It would just have been a waste of my time. By the way, I don’t normally underestimate my opponents. I didn’t underestimate Dante, and look how easily I beat him. That really must have been embarrassing for you to watch huh?” He said, knowing it would probably wind her up.

Shifting some more, Alexi moved to the side of the bed. Once at the side of the bed, he swung his legs off the side of the bed and onto the floor. He got to his feet and walked over towards the window in her room. Alexi reached the window and looked outside, clasping his hands behind his back. As she spoke again, he looked back over his shoulder at her, laughing and shaking his head in the process. ”You know you really do make me laugh sometimes Trinity. You’re such a hothead. Who did you get that temper from anyway? Your mother or your father?” He smirked before looking back out of the window. ”I am perfectly aware that you are not a full human, but it would have been nice for you to have stayed over my shoulder without misbehaving in the manner you did. It’s not every day that I bring a hunter back to my home like this, so you should be grateful. You should feel honoured to be here with me.”[color] He turned away from the window, turning back around to face her once more. ”I always get what I want. That doesn’t make me spoilt, it just makes me determined to have what I want.” He said with a simple shrug of his shoulders.

Meanwhile, back at his home, Dante was still searching through the different books on dhampirs in the hope he would be able to find the information Trinity had asked him to look for. Sure, he knew what information he needed to find, but it was just finding the information that was proving to be quite difficult for him. The problem he was having was the fact he just couldn’t remember which book he had seen the information in before. Dante knew the book was amongst the books at the table, but he just didn’t know which book it was. What made it worse was the fact he knew he was going to have to go through each and every book until he found the information. Right now, he had been through more than twenty books on dhampirs, and he was still yet to find the information he was looking for. He sighed softly to himself as he closed up yet another book and picked up another. ”How many more books do I need to go through before I find what I’m looking for?” He shook his head as he had opened up another book. ”It doesn’t matter.” He shook his head again. ”I have to continue looking….for Trinity…and the baby.” A small smile formed on his face as he thought about Trinity and the baby she was carrying within her.

If Alexi was aiming to get her angry, it was slowly working. It'd started at a gradual pace, anyways. But the more he went on about topics that were sensitive to Trinity, the faster her temper was escalating. "You're pushing your luck. Better watch your tongue ..... " She warned, her body shaking, especially her fists. Ah well, she did need a way to work out somehow; he had all but volunteered in her eyes. Besides, he would heal fast so long as no silver was used, he could handle it all. More than that, he couldn't retaliate as easily; not without risking danger to the unborn child he insisted would be his. He'd have to be more careful - on where he did hit back if at all and with how much power was used. Another factor she was certain he didn't think much of, another thing to help bring him to his knees in defeat quicker when this all ended.

"You fucking liar ... you do underestimate your opponents. You just refuse to acknowledge it or any of your weaknesses. And I don't need to have perfect eyesight to see .... there are quite a lot for a pure blood like yourself." When he turned his back to her, Trinity's smirk widened as she followed suit, her footsteps lighter than usual due to not having her boots on. Ergo by the time he turned around, their faces were inches away from one another.

"If you think I'm sexy when I'm angry ... let's see if that gets better or worse when I'm infuriated!" She hissed angrily as her parents got mentioned. "My father whom, if I had to guess now that I know one of them was a vampire, was it. It makes most sense to me. Mother always brought out the kinder side of him, but now I better see what he always kept trying to tell her. You really can't always place the 'nice guy' role in this life. Because of pricks like you, who force people to resort to dire measures!"

And without any other warning, she pulled both fists back and threw them violently for the dead center of his sternum. Unlike Alexi, she could and would use every ounce of power possible. And right now, she was tired of hearing his insults and words. This would definitely help out if it hit hard enough; he'd have to focus on gasping and gaining air more than anything. Hell that alone may even be enough incentive to make him leave and get out of her sight. He would have to tend to himself - lest he was also insane - before striking back against her. It'd give her even more time to stall, to think, to plan. And every second and minute of that would help her get through each day easier.
