Seeking Revenge... [Yuna&MysticSparxman's 1x1]

As he had been talking with Trinity, Alexi really did have no idea as to whether he was getting underneath her skin. Of course, he was hoping that he was getting to her just because it was the type of vampire he was. He was the type who loved to wind people up, and Trinity wasn’t going to be any different. After all, he had to find some way to keep himself entertained, and he was sure that winding her up would most definitely keep him entertained. His lips had curled up into a smirk as she had told him that he was pushing his luck, and he couldn’t help but laugh as she told him to watch his tongue. It seemed as if there were a few things she didn’t seem to like him mentioning. Alexi knew it would do him some good to remember these things for future reference….or just for when he would want to wind her up in the future sometime. Of course, it was highly likely that he would end up trying to get underneath her skin again at some point. It was just so much fun for him.

When he had his back to her after having made his way over to the window, Alexi had absolutely no idea that she had gotten to her feet and crept over to where he was standing. It didn’t really help that he wasn’t bothering to use any of his abilities, because if he had done, then he would have picked up on the fact that she had been creeping over to him. His back had still been to her as he responded to what she had said to him. ”How could you say such things? I do not underestimate my opponents.” He smirked. ”I give my opponents the credit they deserve.” This was a load of bullshit of course. Alexi never ever gave his opponents any sort of credit, and he would often underestimate his opponents, but that was just the way he was. As he had said this to her though, the chances were likely that she would have picked up on the fact that he was giving her a load of crap. He expected her to pick up on this too. He scoffed at the mention of possessing weaknesses. ”You fool! You honestly believe I have weaknesses? I have no weaknesses whatsoever. I am one of a few vampires without weaknesses. Where did you get that idea from? How naïve of you to think such a thing.” He laughed a little bit before he shook his head.

By the time he had turned around next, he was surprised to see her face inches from his own. For all but a second, he even thought she was going to kiss him, but then he heard what she had said next to him. As she spoke of her parents, he could see that he had gotten to her, which he only thought to be a good thing. ”Oh, I can imagine you would look smoking hot if you were infuriated.” There was a devilish smirk on his face. ”Still, it’s nice to know that there are some things that can be said to you that will get underneath your skin. It’s good it didn’t take me too long to find out what those things are.”

Still, it came as a complete surprise to him when she suddenly went for him. He hadn’t expected it at all, and because he hadn’t expected it, he had no way to react in time. Before he could do anything, he felt her fists connect with his sternum, which winded him more than he thought it would. It caused him to drop down to one knee as he tried to catch his breath. He placed a hand on his chest as he tried to catch his breath, and then he looked back up at Trinity and growled a little bit. Of course, it took him a while to catch his breath, but when he had managed it, he forced himself back to his feet. ”What the hell…do you think you are doing?!” He growled a little bit and then he balled a hand up into a fist. He pulled his hand back and was about to throw a punch in her direction, but then he realised he couldn’t do anything because of the condition she was in. She was carrying the child that would soon be his, so there was no way he could retaliate, no matter how much he wanted to.

The more her temper and dhampir side took over, the quicker a new side of her was emerging. It was incredibly sadistic and each and every reaction she was getting seemed to fuel her on. Her own deviant smirk had definitely crossed her lips as she watched Alexi prepare to try to throw a punch, only to stop. "Oh? What's this? Can't do it?" She laughed as she grabbed a handful of his hair, pulling him up to his feet. "So ... what was that you were saying about no weaknesses? What a bunch of bullshit. See? You are exactly as I thought ... a pathetic pureblood!"

Allowing her hand to let go, she shoved him against another wall. While she had a chance, she was going to do any and everything in her power. And without Dante around, she had no immediate intentions of stopping or calming this newly found side of her. She took slow, arrogant steps towards him, licking her lips. "You look so pitiful ... helpless .... how amusing. For me anyways. If this isn't killing you, I'm damn sure it is not only you but your pride also, isn't it? So tell me ... still think I'm incredibly hot? Or are you now regretting waking me up like this?"

It didn't take her long to figure out what she wanted to do. She'd cripple him ... refuse him to do anything she wanted and simultaneously stall Dante. "Tell me...." She murmured in a low, venomous whisper as her right foot landed upon his kneecap. "How fast will your bones heal?" Putting her hands against the wall, she stood upon the lone patella, both of her feet upon their target. "With enough pressure that will snap. So ... what are you going to do? Accept your fate? Or fucking do something?"

With each passing second, more and more pressure would be added. Time truly was going to be of the essence for Alexi if he refused to act soon. "You're weak, more so than me. You can't do shit. You really didn't think this plan through. Stupid, useless, pureblood .... that's all you are." Her eyes remained gazing right at Alexi's, her smirk remaining and every now and again, low chuckles and laughs leaving as she stared down at him. "What happened to that smug son of a bitch who so easily took me away? It's like he died if I didn't know better. Did you? Hm? I sure as hell don't see you ... nor any reason to fear you, obey you, nothing! In fact, I could waltz out of here once I finish breaking your joint."

An adrenaline rush like never before began to surge through the Huntress. Despite her sadistic side creeping her out slightly, the man had truly pushed her over an edge. And without having been able to grab onto any support quick enough, he'd all but sealed his fate. She kept her eyes - which abruptly seemed to flash crimson for a few seconds - down to Alexi, watching and waiting for his reactions, his movements. She wanted to see what he would do, if he would actually fight and start realizing how deadly she could finally be as an opponent. And if he did fight back, what would he do? He already realized there were few things that could be done. It all made her chuckle in an unorthodox and eerie manner.

Sure, Alexi had thought of it as being extremely fun to wind up Trinity. There again, he thought of it as being fun to wind up just about anybody. After all, that was the way he was. Even though he did enjoy winding her up, he hadn’t really expected her to react in the way she had done. There had been a part of him that had been expecting her to react in some way, but he didn’t really expect her to react in the way she did. Alexi simply thought she would scream and shout at him and tell him to get lost. He didn’t really think she would react in a physical manner. It was something he may have expected from a fellow vampire, but not from her. Of course, he had a feeling that she may not have been reacting in such a way if he hadn’t provoked her, but more importantly, he didn’t think she would be reacting in such a way if she had just been a simple human. There again, if she hadn’t possessed hidden dhampir abilities, then the chances were likely that he never would have bothered to watch her, and eventually take her in the first place.

Judging by the look on his face, it had been pretty apparent that he had wanted to retaliate after her punches had connected with their target. Never before had anyone struck him without him striking them back. It was why he didn’t really like the fact that there wasn’t too much he could do with Trinity, and even if he were to strike her back, he knew that he was going to have to be careful with where he struck her, how he struck her and also how much power he used. After all, he couldn’t really run the risk of any harm coming to the child she was carrying. The child that would soon become his. Still, it didn’t stop him from feeling tempted to react. He genuinely wanted to, but he forced himself not to.

Alexi winced a little bit as she had grabbed a hold of his hair and pulled him up to his feet. He narrowed his eyes, bared his fangs at her and hissed as she shoved him against a wall, moved closer towards him and then pressed her right foot, and then her left foot against his kneecap. At first, he had been wondering what she was trying to do, but as he felt more and more pressure being applied to his kneecap, it didn’t take him too long to figure out what she was trying to do. Well, it didn’t take him too long to figure out after she had asked him how fast his bones would heal. Alexi winced in pain as he looked up to her. He growled at her again before he finally responded to what she had said to him. ”How fucking dare you! Who the hell do you think you are, talking to me like that? You have no right to talk to me like that. You are merely a dhampir. You’re nothing but a dirty halfbreed.” He winced in pain again, but smirked a second or so later. ”But that doesn’t change the fact I think you are hot when you’re angry. Anyway, I can’t say I am regretting waking you up like this. It’s just going to make it so much better when I finally get to have you after that child of mine is born.” He said as the smirk on his face widened considerably.

Looking up at her, he laughed a little bit. ”Silly girl.” He laughed some more. ”Do I look like the kind of vampire who is going to sit back and allow you to do this without reacting in some way? Of course I’m going to do something. Now, I might not be able to do what I really want to do, which would be to kill you for this, but believe me when I say I am going to do something.” He paused for a moment before continuing. ”Don’t worry your pretty little self too much though, because I’m not going to kill you, no matter how much you deserve it.” He scowled up at her before realizing he had to act now, otherwise he knew that she was probably going to break the joint in his knee. That really was the last thing that he wanted right now. ”Oh, believe me as I’ve thought this plan through enough, and that smug son of a bitch is still here. He’s still here and you won’t be walking out of anywhere. Even if you do walk out of here, I know exactly where you are going to go, and I will only come back and take you again, so it’s pointless really.” With that said, he knocked out both of her ankles in a way where her feet would fall on either side of his knee. As soon as he had done this, he pushed her back a bit, and then he was forced to use the wall for support as he rose to his feet. ”Bitch! You should think yourself lucky as you would be dead if it weren’t for the fact you’re knocked up.”

Second after second passed and it seemed like she had taken Alexi aback so much that he wasn't going to do anything. Finally, he let loose his own cursing fit at her, causing her to chuckle more. "Me? I'm your worst nightmare whether you realize it or not. Call me what you will, insult me as much as you think you can. But deep down in your black heart, you know no one else has dared to go half as far as I have. And for that reason alone, it is what makes me dangerous. Everything you never had to worry about before ..... oh that will change, make no mistake. But the best part? You can't do much!" Another unorthodox and seemingly out-of-place laugh left. She truly was long gone from the typical Trinity both Alexi and Dante knew her as.

"...No right?" Her head shook. "I may be a hybrid but I sure as hell am not your slave. I don't have to listen to you of all people. Also, what makes you so sure I'll still be here by the time my child is born, hm? Stupid, cocky idiot. You don't think of anything; having taken me hostage now is more than ample proof of that." With her focus more upon her words than him, she felt herself shoved back and even that made her laugh. "Heh, that was almost pathetic as you are in general." She watched him stand, a bit astounded he wasn't shaking as much as he should be, but otherwise not very impressed.

Her smirk seemed to widen more at his last words as her head shook. "You make it sound like I should be scared. Why? What reason do I have to be? All you've done is give me amusement and for that, I thank you. But right now ... " Her head shook no more. "You're definitely not getting that type of reaction from me. You're not getting much of anything from me really." And with that, she turned her back to him, refusing to make eye contact with him or speak anymore. She wouldn't attempt to run ... yet. No, this was very funny to her. She had been the one having a fit ever since he revealed himself to her and now ... she was getting her turn to hear him lose his cool finally. She would savor and enjoy every second of this, knowing there was little that could be done to her.

Alexi absolutely hated the fact that there wasn’t really too much that he could do to Trinity. He genuinely felt as if she had no right to either treat or talk to him in the way she had done, and he had meant every word of it when he had told her that he would have killed her if it weren’t for the fact that she was pregnant. No-one had ever spoken to him like that, just like no-one had ever treated him like that before, and even if they had done, Alexi had never let them get away with it. Normally, if someone had talked to him or treated him in the way Trinity had, then he would not have hesitated to rip out their throats, hearts or drain them of all of their blood. It was something that he was so tempted to do to her right now, but as much as he wanted to, he knew that he couldn’t harm her in any way. He couldn’t harm her in any way, no matter how much he thought she deserved it. There was so much he wanted to do to her right now, but because she was carrying the child he would claim as his own, there really wasn’t much that he could do to her.

He rolled his eyes as she spoke, and then he shook his head a few times. ”Don’t think too highly of yourself, will you?” He looked her up and down a few times before he spoke again. ”You’re right, as I will call you what I want, and I will also insult you as much as I want. It might also be true that no-one else has gone against me as much as you have.” He paused for a moment before he spoke again. ”Well, they have, but I would normally kill them afterwards. You’re just lucky you’ve got that thing inside you, because if you didn’t, then I would not hesitate to kill you either. Like I said before, you are just very lucky that I need you alive. Anyway, who says I have anything to worry about? You’re nothing special, so I don’t really think that I do have anything to worry about. Nothing is going to change around here, and you really should feel grateful that I can’t do anything to you, and I mean that too.”

Soon after he had managed to knock her feet off his knee and push her back, Alexi remained leaning against the wall for support as his knee throbbed with pain. He turned his attention back to her as she spoke, and then his lips curled up into a sick grin. ”You fool yourself Trinity. You might not know it yet, but you will be mine eventually. Hell, you might even come to enjoy being mine. Besides, I can give you much more than that fool who knocked you up. Also, I’m positive you will still be here when my child is born because no-one knows of this location, and even if they did, there is no-one strong enough to defeat me. The only one who would actually want to come for you doesn’t even know you are here. Despite the fact you wounded me, I was still able to lose him, so whether you like it or not, you are going to be stuck here with me. Trust me though, I’m sure you will learn to like being here, and to think your child will grow up calling me dad.” He said the last part with a small smirk on his face, knowing it would probably wind her up even more.

Of course, he didn’t really like it too much when she turned her back to him. That was something he didn’t really like at all. Alexi growled a little bit as she had turned her back to him. ”I never gave you permission to turn your back on me. Who the hell do you think you are? By the way, if you’re not scared of me now, then I’m sure we can work on that over time.” He growled at her again before moving over towards her bed. When he reached her bed, he sat down on the edge of her bed and rubbed his kneecap a little bit.

She waved a hand casually as he went on, dismissing the issue in a much calmer manner than she should have been able to. "Yeah, yeah. Keep reassuring yourself you get all you want from others and all that crap. Still, when all is said and done ... I am not everyone else." A low scoff left as her eyes rolled. "Hmph, and you should be grateful I'm not so heartless. The child is all that's keeping me from awaiting and embracing Death really. But I wouldn't shove that fate upon someone who definitely doesn't deserve that ... otherwise I wouldn't care enough about being dead." And then ... she thought on that. It was somewhat true; maybe it'd be more accurate if she hadn't met Dante. But otherwise, her words were very serious and genuine.

"As do you fool yourself. You're not much more." She retorted with a light shrug, keeping her back turned to him. Her eyes rolled but she restrained herself from scoffing aloud. Still, the mere idea of him hoping and thinking she would dare begin to enjoy being with him was ... laughable. She nearly did so aloud in fact. The urge only increased as he felt so certain Dante would never locate them, knowing if anything, the truth was the exact opposite. "..... The child will call you nothing. That I will ensure myself." She vowed, determination in her voice. Trinity wouldn't dare risk hinting she had spoken with Dante via telepathy not too long ago. No, once he found that out ... she didn't want to think of what he'd do. So she avoided making such hints obvious to him.

"Heh, like I need your consent to do anything." She murmured, her smirk widening more. Her feet dug into the floor as she then pushed herself quickly away from the bed. ".... I told you. All you're used to getting from with other people ... that will not happen with me. I will not do nor say what you want me to, make no mistake." Her eyes remained firmly gazing down at him as she continued to take slow steps back and away from him, not wanting to be shoved anywhere near him though especially not upon a sensual place like a bed. That ... truly was pushing his luck in her eyes. "As far as time goes ... I'd say you're very limited on that. After all, if too much is used up ... it'll never work." She taunted, making sure to keep her distance still.

Alexi couldn’t really believe the way in which she had just dismissed just about everything that he had said to her. He couldn’t believe the nerve that she was showing to him. He didn’t like it. He didn’t like it at all. No-one had ever shown him that much nerve before, and he wasn’t really too sure what to do about it either. It wasn’t something he was used to, but he was hoping that she would be with him long enough so that he would be able to get used to it. He was hoping so anyway. As if dismissing everything he had said was bad enough; he then had to listen to everything she had to say afterwards. The way she was talking to him really did make Alexi wonder. It made him wonder just what she would have been like if she had turned out to be a pure blood vampire. She was only a dhampir, and the change in her attitude and demeanour were more than noticeable to him. Alexi was only able to imagine just how bad it would have been if she had been a full vampire instead of a dhampir. He couldn’t help but think she would have been so much mouthier, and that would have been something that he wouldn’t have been able to put up with for too long. Not only that, but she would have been stronger too, and that wouldn’t have been too good. Well, it wouldn’t have been too good for him anyway. It was something that he was struggling to put up with now, but at the same time, he knew that he didn’t really have a choice in the matter.

He rolled his eyes at what she had said to him, and then he shook his head back and forth a few times before he finally responded. ”Yeah, yeah, so you’re not everyone else, I get it. Anyway, I don’t see why I should be so grateful that you’re not so heartless, I really don’t.” He shrugged his shoulders as he had said this to her. ”Still, you are right in saying the child is about the only thing that is keeping you from death right now. Like I said to you before; if you weren’t expecting that child, I would have killed you already for what you have said and done to me. So, you really should watch your tone when you are talking to me. No-one talks to me like you have done, so you should feel grateful that you are still alive and breathing, and just because you are expecting that damned child, don’t think for one second that it gives you the right to talk to me like you have done.” He spoke in a defiant tone as he had said this to her. Still, he found it hard not to laugh at her comment about how she would make sure that her child didn’t call him anything at all. ”Okay, well you carry on believing that. I won’t stop you from thinking your child will call me nothing. In the end, you will want your child to call me dad.” He said this with a somewhat devilish smirk on his face, hoping it would only wind her up some more. He wasn’t sure why he wanted to wind her up some more, especially when he thought about all that she had done to him earlier.

When she had moved away from him on the bed, he shifted a little bit on the bed, and it almost looked as if he was attempting to move closer to her. Luckily for her, he didn’t move closer to her, but he did move on her bed, almost as if he was attempting to make himself slightly more comfortable. He leaned back onto her bed a little bit and cupped a hand over his mouth as if to stifle a yawn as she spoke. Alexi looked back over in her direction as he let his hand fall to his side. ”I think you are going to need my consent if you want to do anything around here. You are in my home now, so whether you like it or not, you will do what I tell you to do. Hell, you will even wear what I tell you to if I feel like it. Believe me when I say I’m not making a mistake here. One way or another, you are going to learn to listen to me. You are going to learn to do as I tell you, and if you ask me, you’re full of crap.” He smirked. ”What do you know about time? You’re the one who doesn’t have enough of it.”

Meanwhile, back at his home, Dante hadn’t stopped searching through the books in the hope he would be able to find the answer he had so desperately been searching for. He had been going through the books since his conversation with Trinity, and he was starting to get to the point where his eyes were starting to hurt him a little bit. Dante rubbed his eyes a few times as he finished up another book with no answers. Sighing softly to himself, he finally rose to his feet. ”I need a break. I can’t keep this up for much longer.” He looked back towards the pile of books that remained on the table, and then he exhaled deeply through his nose. After doing so he turned and walked from the library. Dante started to make his way back through the twists and turns of the hallways as he headed on back towards the kitchen so he could get himself something to eat and drink.
