Seeking Revenge... [Yuna&MysticSparxman's 1x1]

There were too many unanswered questions for poor Trinity. The unknown was starting to make her anxious ... a bit terrified even. And it showed as her body shook. Still, they wouldn't get anywhere sitting here either. She wanted to know - or try to - sooner than later. Her head shook no as she somewhat reluctantly stood. "N-no. While we have time ... we should try to do research on our own." Giving him a soft kiss first, she then headed into the main library with him. She began going down the shelves on the right side, going and reading the titles of each and every book within there to avoid missing anything that may help out.

She'd had to make several trips to put what books she had found to maybe help on the table then go back and check. By the time she stopped, she had finished putting a dozen down. A low sigh left. She knew there was no way that was even a fifth of the books that would maybe be able to help. Well ..... time for a hell of a day. Another weary yawn left as she put them all up in a pile. Taking the one from the top down first, she began searching the index and then the actual book for anything regarding 'potential'.

As book after book went without giving her even the slightest hint, she felt her heart begin to sink faster. Was this hopeless? Trinity shook her head no. There had to be some other way besides waiting for the other vampire to appear and explain to figure out what he meant. Didn't there? She paused from her search to rub a hand upon her forehead, sighing softly. Her head slowly looked up to Dante. "Any luck?" She asked softly.

Dante was hoping that they would at least be able to find some answers as to what the other vampire had been referring to earlier. He was hoping they would be able to find some books in the library that would be able to help them, especially when he thought about just how many books were in the library. Even though he didn’t think they would find anything right away, he was sure that they would be able to find something after a while. The only problem was the fact he didn’t know how long it would be before they would find anything. He had walked with Trinity as she had gotten up and walked to the main library. Dante didn’t know how long it would take to find what they were looking for, but at the same time, he didn’t really mind just how long it would take. He just wanted to be able to give her the answers that he was currently unable to give her right now.

As soon as they had made it to the library, Dante watched Trinity as she had started to search for books that she thought might help, and he started to do the same thing. Dante started to search for books that he felt might be able to help them find out what the other vampire had been referring to. Dante made his way over to one of the sections based on vampires, and he started to go through the books, hoping he would be able to find some that might be able to help. Of course, he had to be really careful when he was searching through the books, mainly because he didn’t want to miss any that he thought might be able to help them out. Dante pulled out a few books as he was searching through the sections based on vampires, and when he had around eight books in his arms, he headed back over towards the table where he had seen Trinity putting the books that she had found. By the time that he had gotten to the table, it looked as if she was already going through some of the books that she had found. He didn’t know if she had found anything that she thought may have been able to help them, but he set the books he had found down on the table soon afterwards.

He turned his attention back towards Trinity after setting down the books he had returned with. ”I’m not too sure just yet. I’ve found these books that I’m going to look through, but there’s something telling me that we’re not going to find what we are looking for in a hurry. What with all of the books in here that are based on vampires.” He picked up one of the books he had bought back to the table, and he opened it up and started to go through it. ”Still, there are more than enough books in here, so I’m sure that there should be some books in here that should be able to help us out. It’s just finding those books that are going to take the most time. I’m sure they are here though.” He looked back to Trinity with a small smile, still trying his best to reassure her that they would be able to find the information needed to explain what possible potential the other vampire could have been referring to. Dante finished going through the first book, and then he closed it up and put it back down after having found nothing. There again, he hadn’t really expected to find anything in the first book that he had picked up. It was something that he knew would take time. Dante picked up the second book and started going through it with no luck. He ended up going through just about all of the books he had bought back, and when he had put the last book down, he sighed deeply. Afterwards, he turned his attention back towards Trinity. ”No luck just yet, but we will find the information we are looking for, I’m sure of it. It’s just going to take a while, that’s all.” He walked around the table towards her, and then when he reached her, he took her hand in his with a small smile. ”Come on, let’s go and get some more books. There’s bound to be some books here that should be able to help us out.”

By the time Dante was half way through, she had finished. Reading was one of the few things Trinity could easily do quickly but accurately. And in the midst of it all, she had also felt a very abrupt surge of fatigue try to overtake her a few times. She rubbed her forehead, her own heavy sigh leaving. She didn't dare say it aloud, but part of her was getting very anxious now. There were so many books ... and with no idea on how much time they had before the next 'visit' from their newly found vampire acquaintance ... it had turned into a race against time. But to make it worse, they had no estimate even how much they had. Damnit all ... this feels so hopeless .... Her hand stopped massaging her forehead as Dante spoke.

Giving him an anxious smile, she returned holding his hand. "I know we will." She replied softly, keeping her thoughts to herself. Just not how fast nor when ... Setting the finished books down beside the table, she then stood up, still holding Dante's hand. The fatigue she had been feeling even before they got back to the mansion was easily in her eyes; but so was determination to find whatever the 'potential' she had been informed of meant. Pressing a soft kiss upon his lips first, she then headed back to the same section she had found the other books in.

This time, she grabbed two dozen, making four trips with six books in her hands each time. Just the pile alone concealed her easily enough. Carefully taking one from the top of the piles, she began checking through them. Once nothing got found, she set it down on the pile with the other books that didn't give her any hints or answers and repeated the process. Her head shook behind the pile, the only hint that would give even the slightest ideas on what she was thinking somewhat to be a soft sigh. Tons of questions were going through her mind ... mainly about the other vampire and what the hell he'd been referring to. But another - one that she didn't dare wish to ask aloud - was trying to determine still how much time they had.

With how easily he'd found them, there was no guarantee they would have till tonight even. That alone made her shiver and shake her head no. Don't think like that ... She tried to reassure herself. But the fears of everything, especially the unknown, was getting the best of her. After finishing six of the two dozen books, she finally looked silently up to Dante. Just her expression hinted it would have been the same question on if he'd found anything yet.

As he had been looking through the different books he had found out, Dante had glanced over towards Trinity on a number of occasions. During those few times that he had glanced over in her direction, he had seen her rubbing her forehead a few times, and he had also noticed the look of fatigue on her face. Dante didn’t really know if this was because she was feeling tired, or if it could have been due to something else. Still, it didn’t really stop him from feeling concern for her. He was curious as to what could have been wrong with her, and he did feel like asking her, but then he just got the feeling that she would have told him that it was nothing to worry about anyway. In the end, he came to the conclusion that he would ask her if he could see that she would continue to look just as fatigued, but right now, he wouldn’t bother to ask her. Instead, he just focused on going through the books that he had found.

When Dante had taken Trinity’s hand to go to find more books, he wasn’t too sure how long they should spend searching for answers. He didn’t know if they would find them anytime soon, but it didn’t stop him from hoping. Dante didn’t know how long it would take them to go through all of the books that they had chosen to go through, but he knew it was something that needed to be done in order to find out what the other vampire had been talking about. Searching through the numerous bookshelves, Dante returned to the table with just as much books as Trinity. By the time he had finally returned to the table, there were around 48 books on the table, all piled up. Dante wiped his forehead with the back of his hand before turning his attention back towards Trinity. ”I can only hope that we find what we are looking for here.” He spoke in a serious tone, but he still knew that the chances were unlikely, especially when he considered the fact they were only looking at a tiny fraction of the books based on vampires that was in the huge library.

Dante started to look through the books that he had bought over, picking the first one up. He opened up the book and started to look through it, but found nothing. Setting the first book down, he picked up the second book and started to look through it. Again, he found nothing. Dante looked through a further eight books without finding a single thing that could possibly help them out, and after setting down his tenth book, he rubbed his forehead a little bit and shook his head back and forth a few times. Afterwards, he turned his attention back towards Trinity when he saw the expression on her face. Just seeing the expression on her face, he knew what she was asking of him, and he shook his head once more. ”I’m sorry Trinity….I’ve not found nothing yet….but we can’t give up hope okay. This is a huge library, and the section based on vampires is just as huge. The books we’ve got here….they are just a small fraction of all the books we might need to look through in order to find out what we need…..so whatever you do…..just don’t give up hope.” He spoke in a soft, yet serious tone, managing a small smile as he looked over in her direction.

The sight of Dante glancing up every now and again caught her eyes also. But the main thing she was looking at were all the words before her in each book. Maybe it's just the reading that's making me tired ... Her head shook as she finished off twelve by now. She gave a weary nod to Dante as she continued to read. "I ... don't think today, no." She murmured softly, yawning a bit even. Her eyes began going through REM ... it was clear she was only staying conscious through will power. She sighed in annoyance at herself, resting her head upon the book upon one of the remaining piles.

"Sorry but ... I'm damn tired." She murmured. She supposed it was nice that the sickness didn't kick in anytime since the last. But this was one thing that was reassuring her she could very well be pregnant. Moving a hand over, she clasped one of his weakly. "You ... can take a break if you want. But just reading is making me tired." She murmured, barely above a whisper now. Her eyes closed and with each passing second, she felt herself more and more ready to give in and pass out.

By the time he next looked over, she was all but asleep. The pace of her breathing suggested she was barely conscious at all. Her grip on his hand loosened as it unclenched and fell against the table. Her chest rose and fell slowly, at a very relaxed pace. With a barely audible "I love you ... " leaving her lips, she finally passed out completely.

Dante stood at the table, picking up book after book and looking through them all in the hope that he would be able to find the information he was looking for. Unfortunately for him, he didn’t really know exactly what information he was looking for. All he really knew was that he was trying to find information based on some sort of potential that could be hidden inside of Trinity. Dante was confident that he would be able to find this information, but he was a little less confident when it came to how long it would take to find the information. He didn’t really think that there was any chance they would be able to find the information in any of the 48 books that were on the table right now, but it didn’t really stop him from hoping. Still, he was determined to go through all of them just to be sure that there was nothing that they were going to miss. Dante sighed a little bit to himself, as he had to admit that he may have agreed with Trinity when she told him that she wasn’t sure if they would find the information today. Deep down, Dante knew she was probably right, especially with the sheer amount of books that was in the library based on vampires.

He noticed how many of the books Trinity had managed to get through, and Dante also noticed just how tired she had become. What he couldn’t understand was just why she had become so tired. When he glanced back over at her, he could see how tired she looked, and he was still going through some of the different books when he had next looked over at her, only to see that she was all but asleep. His lips curled up into a smile as he heard the last words to come out of her mouth before she finally lost the battle with exhaustion and fell asleep. ”I…..love you too.” He whispered to her, knowing she probably wasn’t going to hear him anyway.

Dante set his book down on the table and then he moved around to Trinity as she continued to sleep against the table. She can’t sleep like this. He picked her up in his arms, and then he turned towards the double doors that would have led him out of the library. Dante did want to let her rest in a bed or on the couch in the living room, but then he didn’t want to take the chance that the other vampire might watch her as she was sleeping. It wasn’t a chance that he wanted to take, so Dante looked up towards the second floor of the library. She can sleep comfortably up there. Dante moved towards the stairs, and when he got there, he started to climb the stairs. It didn’t really take him too long to reach the top of the stairs, and it also didn’t take him too long to find what he was looking for either. Up on the second floor, there was a couch, and Dante knew she would be safe, mainly because there was no way in which the other vampire would be able to enter the library. There weren’t really many windows in the library either, so the other vampire wouldn’t be able to watch her either, even if he wanted to. After walking over to the couch, Dante set Trinity down gently on the couch. As soon as he had set her down on the couch, he turned back around and walked back down the stairs, making his way back over to the table stacked with books.

When he reached the table once more, he picked up exactly where he had left off. He picked up the book he had been reading before seeing Trinity fall asleep, and he started going through it once more. It came as no surprise to him when he had no luck in finding any sort of information, so he set the book down and picked up another. Dante ended up going through another twelve books with no luck. After setting down the twelfth book, Dante set it down, turned on his heel and walked over to a different table. He picked up a chair and walked back over to the table with all of the books. When he reached the table once more, he set the chair down and sat down after picking up one more book. Just as he had done before, he started going through the books in the hope he would be able to find something that might help.

She didn't even toss or turn. In fact, she slept soundly even without Dante remaining there. The next few days that passed, Trinity had to repeat the same type of pattern from before regarding how she tried to hide her 'sickness'. But now she was about four or five days pregnant. To a human, that's not even half the time needed, she knew. But she was with a vampire ... she had no idea if he'd be able to begin to sense it. That was, if she allowed him a chance. Not really her, per se. But her body. She'd just finished another visit to the bathroom, wiping her mouth and flushing. A low groan left and Trinity wiped away some stray tears that had fallen from her face. Exhaling softly, she walked back to their room.

She would resume the research ... after she could be with him and - preferably - do so uninterrupted. Crawling back into their bed, she noted thankfully she had beaten him again. He'd been asleep, making her unable to help but smile. It was rather cute in a way, seeing a vampire cling onto any of his humanity. Her eyes closed as she rested her head gently upon his chest. Her mind began to think back to all they'd nearly found in the last three days.

Or maybe the better wording was the lack of all they'd found. Tons of repeated information on lore and knowledge of vampires. But never once anything on 'potential'. The more she thought on the word, the more it made her wonder. ...Potential? Maybe we're looking for the wrong thing? A daywalker or .... dhampir? The latter especially made her look softly down at herself. It sounded a bit ... weird, yes. But it made sense when she put it in that context. Still, her head shook gently. Impossible. That ... that can't be. Can it? A low sigh of annoyance left as her eyes closed. She waited for poor Dante to wake up. They'd both been staying up for as long as they could to try to figure it all out.

Over the next couple of days that had followed, Dante had wondered if they were ever going to find the information they were looking for. Unfortunately they had both gone through countless books throughout the past couple of days, but they had come up with absolutely nothing that could help them out. Still, Dante knew that they couldn’t stop searching. He knew that they were going to have to continue searching for that information. During those days that they had been searching for information on Trinity’s potential, Dante had also noticed something was slightly different about her. He still couldn’t quite put his finger on it, but he had noticed that she always seemed to be getting tired much more quickly, even with a good night’s sleep. At first, he tried not to think too much into it, but as the days passed by, it did start to cause him to feel increasingly concerned about her. Not only did he have to deal with the concern he had started to feel for Trinity, but he also had to deal with the hunger that he had started to feel recently.

Due to the fact Dante had been in such a deep sleep, he had no idea that Trinity had already woken up and made a dash for the bathroom. Of course, if he had been awake, then the chances were likely he would have asked her what was wrong. Dante was still sleeping as Trinity had returned from the bathroom and to their bed. He finally woke up around five minutes after she had returned to their bed. Dante stirred slowly in the bed before opening his eyes, and as he did, he smiled a little bit as he saw Trinity resting with her head on his chest. Due to the fact her eyes were closed, he assumed that she was sleeping. The smile remained on his face as he let his fingers move slowly through her hair. ”My love….wake up.” He whispered to her, doubting she would probably hear him. He only doubted she would hear him mainly because he thought she was sleeping.

As he waited to see if she would wake up or not, there was a somewhat thoughtful expression on his face. We’ve gone through so many books already. There’s got to be something we are missing…..but what? Dante couldn’t seem to figure out what they may have been missing, but there was something telling him that they were missing something. His only problem was the fact he couldn’t figure out what that was. Maybe it would be a good idea to check out the smaller library. We’re not having much luck with the books in the main library, so maybe there might be some books in the smaller one. He thought to himself as he waited for Trinity to wake up.

Poor Trinity had been awake. But she wouldn't bitch at him for it. After all, he was only doing what he was certain to be the right thing. Going along with the act, she gave a low but not-so-fake groan. "...Hm? Oh ... morning." She murmured with a smile, glancing up wearily at him. A soft sigh left as her body registered he was moving fingers through her hair. "Mmm that feels nice." She added, relaxing from his touch. She remained still to enjoy it, beginning to rub away what bits of sleep had still remained in her eyes.

She kept quiet for a while before adding. "....Got any ideas how we should go about this love? I ... I do but .. go on with yours first if you have any." She'd still wondered on the possibility of 'potential' referring to dhampir. But ... how? She still didn't understand. Wasn't she born to two human parents? As far as she had known, the answer was yes. But if not ... how did she miss the hints of this? That alone was enough to convince her to re-check her own house. It'd be nerve-wracking, knowing the other vampire knew of it already.

But they were running low on options ... and time. A soft sigh left as she looked up in his eyes, waiting to hear what he had to say. A playful smirk crossed her face as she got up. By now, they had definitely moved her things into Dante's room so she could dress in front of him. It was fun to tease him and at times like now, it was an easy way for her to forget of her morning sickness. Slowly, she began to slip into jeans, a bra, and a tank top ... in that exact order too.

Dante smiled some more as he saw Trinity open her eyes. Of course, he thought she was only just waking up. He didn’t really know that she had already woken up but had simply closed her eyes. Dante had continued to let his fingers run softly through her hair as she had told him how it felt nice. This only made him continue with what he was doing, and he continued running his fingers through her hair even as she had asked him if he had any ideas as to what they should do. He looked back to her and nodded his head to her question. ”Actually, yes I do have a small idea.” He started off. Dante was about to tell Trinity his idea when he saw the playful smirk that had formed on her face. Just seeing that smirk on her face made him wonder what she had in mind. It wasn’t really long before he found out.

He sat up in their bed and folded his arms across his chest as he watched Trinity get up and slowly get dressed. Dante couldn’t help but notice the way in which she was getting dressed too. As he watched her getting dressed, his eyes travelled up and down her body, and a small smirk formed on his face as his eyes met with hers once more. ”You certainly do know how to tease me, don’t you? Just watching you getting dressed like that makes me want to get out of this bed, make my way over to you, throw you down on this bed and have my wicked way with you.” He still had that playful smirk on his face as he had said this to her. As soon as he had said it, he pushed the blankets down to the bottom of the bed, swung his legs off the side of the bed and got to his feet. Once he was on his feet, he set about getting himself dressed. He got dressed in a pair of cargo pants and a tight fitting shirt, and he made sure that he teased Trinity in exactly the same way in which she had teased him. He dressed relatively slowly, slipping on his cargo pants first, and then his tight fitting shirt. Of course, as he was getting dressed, he made sure to maintain eye contact with her.

As soon as he was dressed, he walked up to her, and when he was standing just in front of her, he took both of her hands in his, looking down into her eyes. ”Before I forget, I better tell you my idea.” He paused momentarily before continuing. ”I think we should continue searching for information on this ‘potential’ this other vampire was talking about. However, I think we should check the smaller library. I know it’s a long shot, but maybe, just maybe there might be the kind of information we might be looking for. I don’t know if there will be, but we can only try.” He spoke in a soft tone, and then he dropped his head forward to rest his forehead against hers. As he did, he closed his eyes. It was as he did this that he was finally able to pick up on what seemed so different about Trinity. He couldn’t be sure, but her blood seemed to have a different scent to it. Dante opened his eyes again and looked down into her eyes, lifting his head up a little bit. ”Trinity, I don’t know what it is, but there’s something different about your blood. It smells different for some reason.” He was slightly confused as to why her blood seemed to smell so different, and it showed on his face. ”Oh, I may need to feed soon. It’s been days since I last fed. Anyway, I just thought I would let you know.” He looked to her with a small smile before letting go of one of her hands. Even though he let go of one of her hands, he was still left holding her other hand. ”Shall we go check out the smaller library, or would you like to get something to eat first?”

She let her eyes go upon Dante as he started getting dressed. "Mmm maybe after attempting our research." She added, a mischievous glint in her eyes at the hint of being shoved back on the bed and taken. "Right now we do need to focus a bit." As she finished putting everything on, she grabbed some socks in case. Certain floors were colder than others and temperature had seemed to be bothering her lately. Getting too cold or hot would make her often want to fall asleep sooner. A low sigh then a nod left at his idea of using the other library.

The second he mentioned the desire to need to feed, she didn't bring up the possibility - more like probably at this point - of being pregnant. Maybe after he fed. Besides, it couldn't help for him to do it once ... right? "Well ... first and foremost ..." She moved some of her hair aside. "You have promised me. What better time than now? But ... just feed for now. I haven't had time to think on getting changed or not." That was half true and not. It was more like that was the last thing she had been able to focus upon as of late. With how often she'd been sick ... and trying to endure that alone ... she'd been more worried of that and the mere possibility of carrying a child.

"Who knows? Maybe my blood will give you better ideas on what to look for?" She joked lightly, keeping her neck exposed for him. She couldn't help but swallow and her heart slightly race. She'd expected for sure to have had this happen when they first met so Trinity had wondered for a while what this was like. Now ... she was finally about to find out. She did feel horrible for hiding even mere possibilities from Dante ... but she didn't want to give him more than he had to already worry about. Her alone was a lot; her plus a child of his? She'd been lucky enough at the first hint of the sickness to have avoided fainting from the mere suggestions they had given.

Even though Dante was extremely tempted to just throw Trinity back down on the bed and take her, he knew she was right in saying they had to focus on the research they needed to do. That was something that Dante knew was very important. That same smirk had remained on his face as he had nodded his head in agreement with what she had said. ”Yeah, I guess you’re right. If we are able to successfully complete this research of ours, then it should me time to take you and tease you.” He smirked a little bit as he had a glint in his eye. It was clear that he enjoyed teasing her just as much as she seemed to enjoy teasing him.

Of course, Dante didn’t really know that Trinity was pregnant just yet. Sure, he had sensed the change in her blood, but he just had been unable to figure out why her blood had changed in the way it had. There was obviously a reason for it, but he was just unsure of that reason. He was surprised when she had moved her hair aside, exposing her neck to him. Dante gazed down to her neck, and then he thought on what she had said. He realised she was right. He had promised her that he would feed from her. Dante dropped his head down to her neck. As he had dropped his head down to her neck, he let his nose trail along her neck ever so slightly, just picking up on the scent of her blood again. Sure enough, there was still something a little different about it. Still, it did smell good to him, despite the fact there was something different about it. After inhaling the scent of her blood, Dante moved his head away from her neck momentarily. There was a thoughtful expression on his face as he thought over Trinity’s last question. Now, even though it seemed as if she was joking, Dante did think she had made a good point. ”I almost forgot that I had promised I would feed from you when the need arose.” He laughed a little bit before continuing. ”But you do make a good point. Maybe, just maybe your blood will give me a better idea as to what to look for. I’m surprised I didn’t think of that myself.”

With a small smile, Dante gazed back into Trinity’s eyes. He wrapped an arm around her lower back, pulling her a little closer to him. ”This will sting for only a second….okay.” He spoke in a soft tone as he had said this to her. Afterwards, he looked down towards her neck, and dropped his head down once more. Dante’s fangs slowly emerged as he inched closer towards her neck. When he reached her neck, he placed a few gentle kisses along her neck before he let his fangs graze her skin. His fangs grazed her skin for a few moments before he finally let his fangs pierce her skin. Dante closed his eyes, moaning just a little bit as he felt her blood running into his mouth. It certainly did taste good, even if there was something different about it. Sure enough though, Trinity would have felt a slight stinging sensation when his fangs had pierced the skin on her neck, but that would only have lasted for a few seconds. That would have been followed by an increasing feeling of pleasure. The pleasure she would have been feeling would only have increased the longer Dante fed from her.

As he fed from her, he pulled her closer to him some more, and Dante continued to feed from her for around three minutes. Finally, he pulled away and let his tongue run over the two puncture wounds that had been left by his fangs. As he did this, it healed the wounds, and then he wiped away the blood around his mouth with the back of his hand. After doing so, he smiled as he looked down to Trinity, wondering just how she must have been feeling after having him feed from her. There was no doubt in his mind that she would have felt the pleasure he had told her about, but just how much of it she had felt, he didn’t really know. ”So, was that as good for you as it was for me?” He smirked some more before he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. Dante pulled away from the kiss a second or so later. ”If you’re ready, we can head on over to the smaller library to continue our search for answers.” He said with a smile.

Even while Dante was contemplating, she was still feeling bad about not speaking up. Not enough to change her mind. Besides, it was only a possibility for now. She'd prefer to say something when it was more definite. Her heart seemed to race faster than usual when he moved close and then away at the same time. The anticipation was much stronger this time for some reason. He seemed as unsure as she was being herself but finally in the end, he decided to go through it. Thank you ... Her eyes closed as she allowed him to pull her close. I hope you and our child can forgive me for this ... She began trying to mentally prepare herself for the bite. It seemed much easier said than done to do though.

A low moan mixed with some shivers trailed down her body as he pressed a few kisses along her skin. A small smile crossed her face as she nodded slowly. "I'm expecting it to a bit at least." She replied softly, taking the warning as a hint that he would go through with it soon. She didn't get past three in her head before they sank through. Her fists clenched as a cry left but she held her ground and stayed still. It ... really had been like losing her virginity again; the first few seconds hurt like hell. But after ... oh gods it was so good. It was causing more soft moans to leave. For a while, she'd felt like time stopped.

It hadn't been till he pulled away and healed the wounds, in fact, that she realized that had been the last thing time had done. A low whine left as the wound got healed, hinting to him it had definitely been as good for her also. "Definitely. One of these days, there may not be a reason or point in healing those marks up though." She murmured softly, all the sensations registering to her body now. The bite had been like a jolt of electricity that had traveled quickly down her whole body and parts of the aftershocks still remained, as hinted by her slightly shaking legs. Wrapping an arm around his waist to keep herself from collapsing then and there, she gave a slow nod.

"A-alright. Let's... go to the library then. And hope like hell this goes much smoother." She added, the last part in a slightly irked tone. She hadn't ever thought it'd take as long as it had to even begin to find mere hints on what exactly 'potential' could be referring to; and that itself was worrying her. Racing against time was never fun because it always went fast when you least desired it to. With how many days had passed, Trinity had began to fear they were pushing their limits. Keeping herself held up, she began heading with him to the other library.

Dante had been wondering just what Trinity would have thought about being bitten. Sure, he had told her that he would feed from her, but he didn’t really know what she would have thought about it. It was why he had been fairly reluctant to feed from her in the first place. Even though he had been reluctant to feed from her, it had been his hunger that had caused him to go ahead and feed from her. Of course, Trinity saying it was okay also helped him to make up his mind. Dante had been wondering whether or not Trinity would enjoy being bitten. He had been wondering if she would enjoy being bitten right up until the time in which he heard what sounded like soft moans escaping her lips. This had caused the smirk on his face to widen ever so slightly as he had been feeding on her. Dante had been hoping that she would enjoy being bitten, and it certainly looked as if she did, which he couldn’t help but think of as being nothing but a good thing. The main reason he was glad she seemed to like it was relatively simple. Dante didn’t really want to feed from her again if it was something she wasn’t going to like. After all, he wasn’t really that type of vampire.

He had heard Trinity whine a little bit as he had pulled his fangs out of her neck. This had served to further confirm the fact that she had seemed to enjoy being bitten. He had tilted his head to the side slightly after her comment. ”I can see you enjoyed that just as much as I did. I even get the feeling you’re disappointed it’s over.” He spoke in a somewhat teasing tone, and the smirk on his face would have told her that he was teasing her too. ”But what makes you say that there might not be a reason or point in healing up those wounds one of these days? Is it because you want me to bite you again in the future?” The smirk remained on his face, and he also made sure to keep his arm wrapped around her. Of course, Dante only really done this due to the fact he knew how shaky a person could be on their legs after having a vampire feed from them. It also may have had something to do with the fact he had noticed her slightly shaky legs, and the last thing he wanted was to let go of her, because he knew she would probably have collapsed if he did. ”I must say though. Your blood was really good, so I’m not going to argue with you if you would like me to bite you again in the future.” He smiled to her as he kept his arm wrapped around her waist, not letting her go.

He made sure to keep a hold of Trinity as they had made their way from their bedroom, down the hallway and also down the flight of stairs to the first floor. Because he was helping Trinity down the stairs, it did take them a little bit longer to reach the bottom, but as soon as they had made it to the bottom, Dante led Trinity along through the hallway. He walked with her, following the different twists and turns until they finally managed to reach the smaller library a few minutes later. When they finally reached the smaller library, Dante pushed open the door and helped Trinity into the smaller library. After making their way inside the smaller library, Dante closed the door before turning his attention back to her once more. ”Well, here we are.” He took one look around the library, before focusing on Trinity again. ”Time for us to try to find out about this ‘potential’ of yours.” He flashed her a smile, even though he was unsure if they would even be able to find the information in the smaller library. Still, that didn’t really stop him from hoping that they would at least be able to find something.

Taking a deep breath, Dante led Trinity through the library, and he took her right to the back of the smaller library. This happened to be where the section based on vampires was located. Whereas in the larger library, there had been many bookcases of books based on vampires, there was just the single bookcase of books based on vampires. Sure, the bookcase was of a similar size, but there was just the one, so there was much less books for them to look through. Dante led Trinity over to the bookcase, and he stopped just in front of the bookcase with her. ”Here we go. We only need to look through these books, and hopefully we will be able to find something in here that we couldn’t find in the larger library…..I’m hoping so anyway.” He sighed a little to himself, mainly because he was hoping they would be able to find something that they may have missed back in the larger library. Dante turned his attention back to Trinity once more. ”We better start looking.” He was about to get some books off the bookcase, but then he stopped and focused on Trinity again. Dante still had his arm wrapped around her waist as he was still holding her up. ”Would you like to sit down first? Or are you okay to stand?” He asked in a slightly concerned tone, mainly because he didn’t know how she was feeling. He didn’t know if she was still feeling shaky on her legs or not. Even if she was though, he didn’t mind letting her sit down. ”I don’t mind if you would like to sit down for a while though. If you do want to sit down, I could bring some books over, but it’s really up to you.” He smiled at her before looking back to the books on the bookshelf once more.

"Oh yes ... I am disappointed. But whether you like it or not, you need that to survive." They hadn't gotten very far out of the bedroom when Trinity - though certainly not Dante - noticed her legs were recovering faster than usual. Sneaking a glance down at herself, she saw and felt technically she could have let go and be stable enough to walk. It made her unable to help but wonder more on her theories while Dante had been asleep; but she had definitely never healed that fast before. The more signs she was seeing, the more it somehow seemed possible. But ... how? How did I grow up with one of my parents being a vampire and never knowing? That was beginning to bother her. Still, a smirk managed to form and she hadn't zoned out so much she couldn't hear Dante. "Even if you didn't want it, you still need it. Still, it's best to find a more than willing source for this sort of thing, would you not agree?" She knew that alone would get her point across.

Giving a small nod, she began seeking out books that would speak of dhampirs, not fullblooded vampires. However, in case she was wrong, she got both types of books. Her head shook no quickly. "I've ... regained my composure rather well since a bit after we left the bedroom actually. I'll be fine." She called softly out. Grabbing as many books as she could, she then went to sit and read beside Dante. He'd eventually have found out what she was reading on .. so there was no sense in hiding it from him much more. Crossing her left leg over her right, she started seeing if she could find anything from a book about full vampires first.

"Just say the word 'potential' to yourself .. in your mind or aloud. Now concentrate on it. Honestly ... does it sound like it would refer to a mere human? Not likely. I thought on how he used it and the context ...." Her eyes closed as a low sigh left. "I .... don't have proof on how .... but it's enough to make me think we've been looking for the wrong things. Maybe it's not a full vampire ... but a dhampir that will have the answers. The faster than usual recovering .... I've never felt before. Silver doesn't bother dhampirs nearly as much as full, hence why I can probably handle my own weapons fine. It's rare .... but they can be born. I... was never informed of this heritage at all though and .... I ... "

She exhaled to calm herself though still murmured, "... am pissed they hid this away from me." Her eyes reopened and she went silent to allow Dante the chance to think on all she had presented to him. With one book about full vampires not showing anything, she moved onto another. Slowly but surely, that theory was looking more and more accurate it seemed.

As much as he hated to admit it, Dante knew that Trinity had been right in saying that he needed blood to survive. Sure, he may have been a vampire now, but that still didn’t really change the fact that he still wasn’t entirely fond of the fact he needed blood in order to carry on living. Of course, as he had been leading her towards the smaller library, he certainly had not noticed the fact that her legs had recovered faster than they should have done. It was why he had continued to support her all the way to the smaller library. There was no doubt that it would have raised a number of different questions in his mind if he had noticed the fact her legs had healed much faster than normal. After all, he knew how long it would normally take a human to recover from being fed on. However, Dante found it hard not to think about the last point that Trinity had made to him. He thought about it for a few moments before he eventually responded. ”I must say you make a good point Trinity.” He nodded his head before continuing. ”As much as I know I need blood in order to survive, I’ve just never really liked the idea of taking it…..no matter how good it can taste sometimes. But a willing source is much better than an unwilling source, so yes, I do agree with you.”

Even in the smaller library, Dante still wasn’t entirely sure as to what they should have been looking for. He wasn’t really sure what they were both really looking for, but Dante couldn’t help but notice the amount of books that Trinity had bought back that were based on dhampirs. It had made him wonder just why she had bought back books based on dhampirs and not full vampires. On top of that, he was also surprised when she told him how she had managed to recover since leaving the bedroom. After seeing the books that Trinity had bought over, Dante got up soon after Trinity had sat down beside him, and he moved on over to the bookcase to look over the books once more. He looked the books over for all but a few seconds, and then he started to pull different books off the bookcase. It was as he was pulling off the different books that he heard what Trinity was saying to him. Hearing her words caused him to stop what he was doing, and he poked his head back around the bookcase and looked back to her once more. ”Maybe you’re right.” He started off. ”This ‘potential’ really doesn’t sound like something that might refer to a human, so you could be right…..it could be a dhampir that might hold the answers we are looking for.”

He pulled some books off the shelf, and he was about to walk back over to Trinity with the books he had pulled off when one book fell off the shelf and onto the floor. This caused him to stop and look back down at the book that had just fallen. Dante tilted his head to the side slightly and raised an eyebrow as it was a very old looking book, but from what he could tell, it was another book based on dhampirs. Dante crouched down and picked the book up before walking back over to Trinity. When he got back to her, he set the books down, and then he set the really old looking book down beside the pile he had set down first. After doing so, he turned his attention back to Trinity once more. ”I did think it was strange that you were able to recover so quickly, and if this is all true….if this ‘potential’ refers to you possibly being a dhampir, then why are you only starting to feel the effects of it now? And if this is true….do you think your parents would have known about it?” He asked in a somewhat curious tone. It was only after this that he started to go through some of the books he had found on the bookshelf. After going through one book on dhampirs, he put it aside before looking to the older book that had fallen off the shelf. Dante picked up the book and set it down in between him and Trinity. ”I don’t know if this book is going to help us find what we need Trinity, but it’s based on dhampirs, it’s much older than any of the other books over in that section, and on top of that, I think it may have been right at the back of the bookcase, because it fell off the bookcase when I pulled off some of the other books. Anyway, let’s have a look at it and see what we can find.” He gave her a small smile before he opened up the book.

By the time Dante finished his own search and sat back beside her, she had finished all the books on the full-blooded vampires. Still nothing ... it made her unable to help but tremble a bit in anticipation. The possibilities of all of this being very real was starting to dawn on her, simultaneously causing more of the same questions she had been hearing to race through her mind go faster. How? Why was I not told this? She hadn't felt this hurt or betrayed .... in ... since she lost her parents? Before then even? Her head shook as she held it, continuing to take deep and steady breaths. She gave a weak laugh and scoff to Dante as he asked if her parents had known of it.

"Love .... they had to have. There is no way I was one of the 'unfinished turning' ones. You .. you were the first to have just bitten me. Yes .. they definitely knew. That ... is what's infuriating me the most. They knew ... but never said anything ... " Her fists clenched angrily as they shook. The calming techniques were slowly beginning to do less and less to help out. So she went upon another logic basis; not wanting to lose any unborn child she may be carrying. That, thankfully, did work as her fists unclenched and her body got stable again.

"But then .... why me even? I'm not a fullblooded. Would that not be better for him to look for? By default, it means I'm half as strong, fast, ... any and everything as you are. You and all the other full-bloods. I ... I don't get it." She managed to get out, her head shaking more before finally resting against his arm. With another deep exhale, she nodded slightly. "....Yes, let's. At the rate, I seem to have almost nothing to lose and more to gain .... as do you. You have as much of a right to know about this as me." With that, she began to read with him and help him look for any keywords that would suggest they were on the right track.

By the time he had sat back down beside Trinity, he was glad that they at least had a better idea of what they were supposed to be looking for. Sure, Dante hadn’t really expected that they would have to search for anything to do with dhampirs, but now that they did know, at least they now knew it was something to focus on. He was just finishing up looking through one of the books on full vampires as Trinity was speaking. As soon as he was done looking at the book based on full vampires, he closed it up and set it aside after finding nothing. Of course, it came as no surprise that he had found nothing in the book based on full vampires. He turned back to Trinity soon afterwards after having heard what she had said. ”But if they could have known about this….then why wouldn’t they have told you about it? After all, it’s not really the kind of thing that should be kept from you. That’s something really important. The fact you could be a dhampir, especially if I was the first to have bitten you. I guess I can understand how that would infuriate you. I know that would infuriate me if my parents had kept something like that from me for so long.” He could see how angry she was getting just thinking about it, so he placed his hand over hers in an attempt to help her calm down.

Dante thought over her question as they started to read the really old book that he had found on the floor. He didn’t really know if they would be able to find any information relating to anything said by the other vampire, but he was hoping that they would be able to find something at least. He was careful as he was reading through the book, but then he turned the focus of his attention back towards Trinity once more. ”I don’t really get it either love, but I wish I did. I agree that a fullblooded would be both stronger and faster, so I’m not too sure why this vampire seems to have such an interest in you. Hopefully this book should help us to figure that out.” He spoke in a hopeful tone, looking back to her with a small smile on his face. ”Maybe there is something about a born dhampir that we don’t know about yet. Maybe there is something about it that might be different from a born full vampire. I don’t really know what exactly, but let’s hope this book might tell us. After all, I would rather learn it from this book instead of that other vampire.”

As he was reading through the book with her, Dante took Trinity’s hand in his own. He didn’t know if they were going to find anything in the book, mainly because they had already gone through almost half of the book already. However, there was soon something that caught his attention. He had been about to turn the page of the book when he was sure he had seen something, so he went back to the previous page and started reading again. After a few seconds of reading the page, he looked back to Trinity again. ”I think we might be onto something here. I’m not too sure what it is, but there’s something here that mentions something about ‘potential’ in humans.” He looked back to the book and tapped the part of the page in the book where he had seen the reference to the possible ‘potential’ she possessed.

The feeling of his hand upon hers definitely helped Trinity calm down. Giving a nod of appreciation, she listened to his words silently. Honestly, what sane person wouldn't be slightly irked by any of what she'd said? Then again, the keyword had been sane and she did know of a few in her lifetime whom had shown they were anything but. To help ensure she remained calm enough, she took gradual and steady breaths through her nose, her eyes gazing down as she continued to read beside Dante. "One would think ... hope such an issue was more than important enough, yes. But .... " She gave a light shrug. "The only things that are coming to my mind is if they were trying to wait for a good age and were murdered before they got that chance."

It was then her head looked up. "By then I was thirteen ... " She murmured softly. Everything began to dawn on her more and more. "....Had ... was that the real reason they were killed? To keep that away from me?" They had never wronged anyone prior to that day ... the more she thought on it, the more it made sense to Trinity. Her breaths became more frequent as she direly tried to keep herself calm. That was getting her blood boiling and her temper trying to take over once again. Just the mere thought they were killed partly - if not only - because one vampire wanted them to remain silent was very infuriating and unfair. No, there had to be more than merely that; something even this book wouldn't list. Something ... only the vampire would know, unfortunately.

She gave a light nod and sigh. "For the most part, I don't want to find out from him. But .... he will have a few answers that no book will. Like the real reasons if I'm wrong on why he bothered with his acts and why me of all .... people, vampire or non. That would, unfortunately, require him to be before us both and willing to speak and explain himself. His presence ... would be like a double-edged sword about now; welcoming and not." Moving a few strands of her hair away from her eyes, she noted the part of the book Dante had gently tapped upon to point out to her where to read.

And with that cue, she began to silently read up. The fact the 'potential' could include humans made her wonder if she was still one? But then ... why would it be in a book on dhampirs? Ugh, so confusing .... Shoving her thoughts aside, she forced herself to give her complete focus on the words before her. A few teeth trapped her lower lip between them, biting down upon it subconsciously as she read each and every word carefully.

In all honesty, Dante was only really able to imagine just how Trinity must have been feeling right now. There was the possibility that she could be a born dhampir, and her parents actually knew about it. Sure, it did make him wonder just why her parents may not have told her about such a thing, mainly because he thought it was something that was so important. To him, it wasn’t really the type of thing that should be kept from someone. Still, he was there to do all that he could to make her feel better. Whether he would be able to succeed in making her feel better, he didn’t really know, but it certainly didn’t stop him from hoping, that was for sure. ”Well, I would definitely think that such an issue would be important enough to tell you.” It was then that he thought on what she had said. ”Well maybe you have a point there. Maybe they wanted to wait for you to reach an age where they felt as if you would have been able to understand what they were telling you. I must say that it is convenient that they would be murdered before they would have the chance to tell you such an important piece of information.”

He turned his attention back to the book that they were both looking at, and as he did, he looked to the part of the book he had pointed out to her. After reading some of the book, he looked up from the book and turned his attention back to her. ”I hate to say it, but it does seem likely that could be the reason your parents were murdered. If that really is the case though, I just can’t understand why this vampire would want to keep this information from you so badly; he would murder your parents. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.” He sighed a little bit before shaking his head. ”If this vampire really didn’t want you to find out about this possible ‘potential’ of yours, he didn’t have to go as far as to kill your parents. I’m sure he could have threatened them into silence. He didn’t have to kill them. Most vampires probably would have just threatened them, so why did this vampire go as far as to kill them?” Dante rubbed his chin with his thumb and his finger a few times as he really had no idea as to what the answer was. ”I can’t help but think that this vampire who has been watching you….I can’t help but think he may have had something to do with the death of your parents. I could be wrong, but he seems to be the only vampire who has shown an interest in you because of this. It does make me wonder why he is so interested though, it really does.”

As he sat and listened to what she had to say about the other vampire, he knew she was right. As much as he didn’t like the idea of seeing the other vampire again, he knew that he was the only one who would be able to give them certain answers. Dante continued reading the book, carefully going over the part of the book he had pointed out to her. ”I’d rather not see him again….but I know you are right. I know that only he can provide certain answers to us…but it’s just his interest in you that concerns me. I’m worried about what he’s going to do if he is here in the same room as us.” The concern in his voice was genuine, as was the look of concern on his face too. ”I agree that he would need to be before the both of us….but at the same time, I don’t like the idea….I really don’t. As for why he’s shown an interest in you, I can’t really answer that either. It makes me wish that he would have shown an interest in someone else who may have been a born dhampir.” He continued reading through the book rather carefully. ”It really wouldn’t surprise me if we were to see that other vampire sometime soon. After all, we haven’t seen him for a few days now, but on a different note….what do you make of the information in this book? Is it helping you understand this ‘potential’ at all?” He asked in a somewhat curious tone.

Her temper began to try to dominate her once again. Gradually - but steadily - this was becoming too much for the Hunter to handle all at once. Shaking hands covered her face as everything seemed to hit her at once, flashbacks or otherwise. Even before her parents died ... she thought back to days she could remember them. She'd never seen any visible hints either of them were a vampire. One of them did their homework damn well ... Her body began to follow suit with her hands as they trembled yet again.

Her head shook no as an abrupt hiss of anger left. "That can not be it! That ... there has to be more than that ... " She stood up, feeling the urge to shoot, punch, or break something too much at this point. Just because Dante's body could handle anything she wanted to do did not mean it would be fair to take this out on him though. Nor would he. The deep breaths weren't doing anything now ... nothing was. This wasn't just her temper; it was ... like a hellbent fury that she'd never known existed in her. The only thing that even began to work was reminding herself again on the possibility of having an unborn.

"...I'm .... I'm sorry I ... " She held herself as she fell to her knees, trembling. Still, she managed a light nod. "Ever since he revealed himself .... I ... I've felt like I've known him. The fact he admitted to having watched me for so long .... I'm relatively certain he is the same one. But then what the hell does he think he's doing? Admitting such a thing like that out in the open? Rather ... cocky." Her head lightly shook no at the what-ifs. Poor Trinity barely knew anything it felt like.

She didn't move back beside Dante, horrified of whatever she had just felt not long ago trying to surface up again from the words and thoughts. As she gazed quietly down at her stomach, a low sigh left. This was becoming more and more unfair to keep it away from him. Taking a few breaths, she nodded again before mustering up enough courage to talk. "....Dante? It's only a possibility but ...." A few stray tears fell as her stomach clenched. "Son of bitch ... why now?!" The more she tried to fight it off, the worse her stomach reacted.

A frustrated growl left as she darted out and ran to the nearest bathroom. She'd been hoping it wouldn't do this ... not yet. But it hadn't even been a full week and morning sickness was prone to lasting for close to it if not longer. Grasping her hair and keeping it held, she gave in and began vomiting. She hated knowing she'd probably be seen like this ..... but she supposed it'd only be Dante at least.

"It really wouldn't surprise me if we were to see that other vampire sometime soon."

As she thought on the words he'd spoken earlier, though still not done with the sickness, she closed her eyes, subconsciously. It was faint ... but she had almost sworn she'd heard footsteps. Not Dante's either. No ... these were further away. Shakily standing up, she flushed and washed her hands. "....Dante?" She called out. Suddenly, she felt like a real idiot for having run out, despite it having been for a fair reason.

Dante continued to remain hopeful that they would be able to find something in the section of the book he had pointed out to her. However, as he was reading the book, he couldn’t help but notice just how easily Trinity seemed to lose her temper. It wasn’t really something he had noticed before. Well, at least it wasn’t something he hadn’t noticed before their encounter with the other vampire. Still, it didn’t stop him from feeling concern for Trinity. He was only able to wonder just why this vampire had taken such an interest in her. Why Trinity? Why couldn’t some other human have been a born dhampir? He thought to himself, sighing softly. Dante didn’t really know what this other vampire had planned, and that was what was really worrying him more than anything. The not knowing what to expect. Dante hated not knowing what to expect, especially with a vampire who seemed to be both older, and quite possibly more experienced than him.

Even though her outburst had come as a surprise to him, Dante was sure he was able to understand how she must have been feeling. He looked up to her with a small smile and shook his head as she had apologized to him. Dante really saw no reason for her to be apologizing to him. He smile on his face was that of a genuine one as he had looked back to her. ”It’s okay. You have nothing to be sorry for.” He spoke in a soft tone, and he was about to respond to her other comments about the other vampire when she had suddenly darted out of the smaller library. Of course, he had no idea what had caused her to dart from the library in such a manner, but Dante was sure she probably had her reasons. I hope she’s okay. She really doesn’t look too good. Dante raised an eyebrow a second or so later when he was sure he had seen some tears falling down Trinity’s face. Now, this only made him wonder what she could have been getting upset about. He couldn’t help but feel increasingly worried about Trinity.

Confident that Trinity was going to return shortly, Dante went back to reading the book. He continued to read through the section he had first pointed out to Trinity. Meanwhile, as he was reading through the book, there was something going on close to Trinity. Those footsteps she was hearing….those footsteps that didn’t belong to Dante, they were getting closer and closer to her. Those footsteps belonged to none other than Alexi; the other vampire Dante and Trinity had encountered back at her old home. Unfortunately for Dante and Trinity, Alexi had managed to gain access into Dante’s home without being invited in. Just how he had done this remains to be seen, but he had done it nonetheless. He continued to walk down the hallway with his hands in his pockets, getting closer and closer to Trinity.

Alexi’s lips curled up into a smirk as soon as he had heard Trinity’s voice. He rounded the corner in the hallway and headed down the hallway that would lead to the bathroom she had dashed off to. Alexi walked down the hallway, and as he did, Trinity would have noticed that the footsteps were getting louder and louder. It wasn’t long before he was only a few feet from the bathroom she had disappeared into. The smirk remained on his face as he stopped just in front of the bathroom door. He pushed it open and looked inside at Trinity. ”No Trinity, it is not Dante.” He pulled his hands out of his pockets and folded his arms across his chest. ”I told you that I would be seeing you again, and I assume you have been looking into what I told you a few days ago. You are beginning to realize what you really are now, aren’t you?” He furrowed his eyebrows, looking straight into her eyes. It was soon after this that he picked up on the scent of her blood. As he did, his lips curled up into more of a smirk. ”Ah, I see you are with child. I assume Dante to be the father, especially after seeing just how close you both were back at your old home.” He smirked some more. ”Does he know yet?” He asked in a curious tone. ”Not that it matters, because he will never get to see the child.” He moved into the bathroom, moving over to Trinity, and when he reached her, he grabbed her arm forcefully. ”You are coming with me. I am going to make you my wife, and your child will be raised as my own.” With that said, he turned on his heel and pulled her out of the bathroom, never releasing the grip he had on her arm.

As revelation after revelation was given to Trinity, she felt an invisible hand smack her hard. First her heritage. So ... I am? But ... how? Which parent? Why wasn't I told? But the worst part had been the confirmation that she was pregnant. "....Yeah, he is. What's it to you though?" Her ankles tensed and as he moved forward, she took a step back instinctively. Her heart was racing faster as distance began to get closed. Damnit all what a time to be weaponless ... Her eyes tried to look for an opportunity, opening to dart past him.

Before she could do that, though, his hand wrapped around her arm. An angry hiss left as she jerked against him. "Like hell I am!" She cried out, purposely raising her voice enough for Dante to hear. Pulling and twisting violently, she began making as much noise as she could. Not only would it alert Dante something was amiss but give him an exact location. If she could stall him long enough ... allow Dante to find them ... maybe this could go better? It was hopeful but hell if she'd just accept this. In the midst of her arm trying to pull away from his hand, she dug her feet roughly down, trying to keep her ground.

She probably should have just screamed, she knew. But she already felt pathetic enough as it was. She didn't want to sound it either. Not by crying out Dante's name. At most, she would allow feral hisses and growls to leave as she continued her struggles. It hurt just to move her muscles; the difference in a half and full was easily felt.

Of course Alexi knew that Trinity was probably going to want answers after everything he had just said to her, and he was sure that he would eventually end up giving her those answers. The small smirk that had been on his face only seemed to widen some more at her question. ”It doesn’t matter why it matters to me. All I am going to say is that the child you carry inside of you is most likely to be the first of its kind. The child of a full vampire and a born dhampir, and the child will be raised by me. That is why you are coming with me now.” He spoke in a serious expression as he pulled Trinity out of the bathroom. He looked back over his shoulder at her as he felt her digging her feet roughly down into the ground, trying to keep herself from going anywhere. This caused him to stop, and he turned to face her. ”Trinity, you are coming with me whether you want to or not.” His tone was gradually becoming more threatening. ”You will come with me, and with me you will stay until that child is born.” He glanced down towards her stomach for a few moments before his eyes met with hers once again.

Meanwhile, Dante had been searching through the book, still looking over what he had first pointed out to Trinity. He was reading really carefully because the more and more he read, the more and more he was certain that he had found the right information this time round. At the same time though, he was also starting to wonder just where Trinity had gotten to. It was around this time that he had heard Trinity’s raised voice. His head suddenly shot over his shoulder as soon as he had heard her raised voice, and he wasted no time in pushing out his chair and getting to his feet. ”Trinity!” Dante bolted out of the library and he started running down the hallway as he made his way towards where he had heard Trinity’s voice. He honestly had no idea what may have been wrong with her, but there was something telling him that he wasn’t going to like it either way. There was a panicked expression on his face as he raced through the halls in an attempt to get to Trinity as quickly as he possibly could.

It didn’t take him too long before he was finally able to reach Trinity’s destination. However, when he saw just who had her, he stopped suddenly. Dante narrowed his eyes and hissed at Alexi as he saw the way he had a hold of Trinity. ”Let her go!” He shouted at the other vampire, only just realising Alexi was actually in his home uninvited. ”Wait a minute….how did you get in here uninvited?” Dante was curious as to how Alexi had gotten into his home totally uninvited, but what really bothered him was just why he wanted Trinity so badly. Alexi looked back to Dante a second later with that same smirk on his face. ”It does not matter how I got into your home uninvited. What matters is Trinity, and how I am going to be taking her off your hands now.” He looked Dante straight in the eyes before growling at him. ”Now step aside if you do not wish to get hurt.” He spoke in a somewhat threatening tone as he had said this.

A laugh mixed with a scoff left her lips. "So for your own curiosities? Fuck off!" She hissed, her fangs finally beginning to emerge. The more she yanked, the stronger her efforts were becoming, even making Alexi budge a bit. Compared to what it could be, it wasn't much; but given how much she was beginning to awaken from the past few days? It was quite a feat to see. Her heart was racing as she continued to jerk. More than her safety, Trinity was much more concerned on her unborn child. Gods of any kind help her if this man dared to try to raise it. Her gaze finally looked up as she heard Dante speak up.

"Dante!" Trying to take advantage of the fact Alexi was only holding one wrist, her other hand grabbed for one of his. Anything Alexi was saying and doing, she was trying to ignore. It hadn't been until the growl echoed in her ears that she winced even slightly. Things were finally beginning to get serious; that alone could be heard from the simple action. And it made her heart sink; Dante was already having enough troubles embracing his new heritage .... he'd have to, like it or not. This vampire was already doing too much that he probably shouldn't, namely being able to sneak in without being invited. Dante wasn't the only one curious on that ... and it definitely made her more uneasy around Alexi.

Shifting between trying to jerk away from Alexi and reaching for Dante, she tried to keep her focus on her lover. Her fingers on the hand Alexi still had grabbed wrapped and began pushing roughly down between his thumb and index finger. Vampires, last she recalled, weren't immune to pressure points. The pain would add up ... eventually. Hopefully soon enough to make his grip at least loosen and allow her to be able to get away.
