Seeking Revenge... [Yuna&MysticSparxman's 1x1]

He nodded his head in agreement, and he grinned a little bit, knowing she was probably teasing him again. ”Yeah….you’re probably right. There probably should be another way of creating others instead of turning them. If I can think of a different way, then I will be sure to let you know.” The grin on his face widened as he teased her back. Of course, he was sure that she would know that he was teasing her. Well, he thought she would anyway. As he had said this to her, it did make him wonder what would happen if it had actually worked. It did make him wonder what would happen if Trinity did fall pregnant. What would the child be like when it was born? He had no idea, but he had to admit that the thought was a rather intriguing one. ”You’re right. Only time will tell if it has actually worked, and I’m sure you will probably know if it’s worked before me anyway.”

Dante paused momentarily as he thought on her question. ”Well, to start off with, I did dislike being a vampire, but it is something I have come to get used to. It has taken a while, but I have managed to adjust to it.” He spoke in a serious tone before a small smile crossed his face. ”It is the reason why I am giving you a choice as to whether you want me to turn you or not. I don’t want to go too far with you and turn you, only to have you hate me for it later on. That is the last thing I want, so I thought it would be better to give you the choice. That way, you are able to make up your own mind as to whether you wish to be turned or not.” He laid back down beside her as she explained why she was only now feeling the pain. As he thought about it, he did think that it did make sense to him, so he nodded his head. ”I believe that does make sense to me. Adrenaline can block out all sorts of things, especially pain. It can make you do so many things too, so I think I am able to understand.” He said with another nod of his head. ”Since we are now resting, your adrenaline is wearing off, which in turn is causing your pain to return also.” That concerned look returned to his face once again. ”How long do you think the pain is going to last? Will you require painkillers at all?” Dante yawned a little bit soon after this, and he shifted slightly in the bed, making himself more comfortable. ”It may have been good for me…but was it good for you too?” He asked in all but a whisper.

He could gradually start to feel himself falling asleep as his eyelids were growing heavier by the minute. ”Hmm….well you may just be right. Still, I think it’s going to take a lot to recover from this…even if I am able to regenerate.” He whispered before raising an eyebrow at her next comment. ”I am able to understand that you didn’t expect this with a human or vampire. Even more so that you would have expected it to be forceful if it did happen with someone other than me….but are you saying you would have wanted it to be forceful? If that is what you were expecting….or are you glad that it was the way it was?” He asked in that same curious tone, but seconds later, he laid his head back down on the pillow, letting his forehead rest against hers again, and he could feel his eyes closing gradually. ”I think we should….rest….now.” He whispered as his eyes closed. It wasn’t going to be long before he would finally fall asleep, just as he was sure it wouldn’t be long before she fell asleep either.

Her head quickly shook no at the suggestion of her being the first to detect an unborn. "I doubt. Regardless of what race it is, you will probably be able to smell it first. My blood will, after all, change. It'll mean though ... you'll need to figure out another source to use for a while. Too much blood loss wouldn't be good ... and I'm going to lose enough when I give birth." She'd gone with her mother - whom had been a midwife - and seen infants delivered into the world. After one got over the bloody mess, it truly was a blessing to behold. By now, her voice had remained at barely above a whisper. The only thing keeping her conscious, one could guess, was the desire to answer all his questions and simultaneously hear his replies.

His reply on the initial reactions to being turned made her wonder a few more things. But she'd ask later ... when they both rested up. Mentally noting them to avoid forgetting, she gave a weak nod at his explanation. A low chuckle left as her head slowly shook no when he asked about needing painkillers. "No no ... rest at most probably. It ... usually isn't supposed to last too long. If it does ... I'll ... see about a doctor." A low yawn left as she got closer and closer to sleep.

It seemed she was not the only one. Now Trinity could hear Dante was also close as well. "Sleep ... well ...." She had tried to end it with the word 'love' but fatigue finally overtook her. The steady rising and falling of her chest hinted she had given in and passed out, her head staying against his chest.

Dante found himself thinking about what Trinity had said to him as he had grown more and more tired. Sure, he didn’t know if she would actually become pregnant after what had happened between them, but there was a part of him that knew she was right in what she was saying. There was a part of him that knew that he probably would have to find another source of blood if she were to fall pregnant. Of course, he didn’t think that would be too much of a problem. Dante came to the conclusion that he would just go out whenever he would need blood, and he would feed on whoever he would be able to find. Well, that was the only thing that seemed to spring to his mind at the moment. Besides, he felt too tired to think of anything else.

There was a small smile on his face as he heard the last words Trinity said before she fell asleep. Dante fell asleep soon afterwards, surprised at just how tired he really was. He had never felt this tired before, and he had never really been able to fall asleep so quickly either. Even as he fell asleep, he remained close to Trinity. As he slept, his arm wrapped around her waist, and he rested his head against hers. Dante fell into a relatively deep sleep, and it turned out to be one of the better night’s sleep he had managed to get in a long time.

The next morning rolled by, and Dante continued to sleep. It was around 10:30am in the morning by the time Dante finally started to stir in bed. Slowly, his eyes opened up, and as they did, he looked down to see that Trinity was still sleeping. Of course he was feeling much better and he almost felt as if he had recovered from the passionate encounter he had with Trinity. His ability to regenerate helped with this. He smiled a little bit before he moved carefully and quietly out of the bed, making sure he didn’t wake her up. As soon as he had managed to get out of the bed, he pulled the covers back over her shoulders, and then he turned and headed into his walk in closet. Once in there, he searched for something to wear, and it didn’t take him too long before he had found what he wanted. In the end, he pulled out a pair of baggy red pants and a matching red top, along with a pair of boxers and socks. Walking out of the closet, Dante walked across the room to the bathroom, and when he got there, he walked inside and closed the door behind him. He didn’t really think to lock the bathroom door, mainly because he wasn’t expecting Trinity to wake up anytime soon. He set his clothes down on the counter before turning towards the shower. Since he was already naked, he didn’t really have to worry about getting out of any clothes, so he just turned on the shower, waited for it to reach its desired temperature, and then he climbed inside, and he started to have his shower.

For one of the first times in .... a while, Trinity had a damn good sleep. She didn't have any dreams, though she was used to that. Honestly, she'd be more astounded if it were otherwise. Even in her sleep, her arms had remained around him. Right up until he slipped out of bed. But that didn't wake her, despite the normally light sleeper that Trinity was. Subconsciously pulling the covers more over her, she remained very much unconscious. Dante normally would have been right. After a night like they had, normally Trinity would remain out.

But something ... maybe someone ... had seemed to watch over the two. And the sensation of her stomach clenching was more than enough for Trinity to wake up with quite the start. Her eyes widened as she panted, shivering in anxiety. ...No fucking way ... She remained still, wondering if maybe the urge to puke would go away. But then ... she hadn't even had anything to eat except pancakes. And her body would not have waited that long to suggest she'd eaten something bad to make her sick. Oh gods ... so ...

Before she could even try to wonder much more, the urge kicked in again. She hated trying to seem sneaky about it .... but she didn't want Dante worrying. Even if he would probably hear her still, he may not. His own shower, after all, was turned on. The water may drown her out. With that logic going through her mind, she slipped out of bed and ran to her old room. She didn't want to be seen .... not like this. Once she got into her old bathroom, she pulled her hair away as she gave into what her body had been silently begging for and felt herself vomiting.

Her body trembled as she silently contemplated. True, she herself had been a 'first try' child. But that was between two humans; that made more sense! This ... this had been from a vampire. A few gasps and pants escaped as her body seemed to calm for a bit. Still, she wasn't sure if it went fully away; so she remained kneeling in front of it until she was damn well sure. Using some paper towels to wipe her face off, she tossed them away. Washing her hands and then flushing, she inwardly cringed, hoping the water for Dante didn't get changed too badly.

Even as she slipped back into their bed, her mind hadn't stopped thinking. If anything, it seemed to try to race faster. Swallowing nervously, she kept her ears alert for Dante to signal he was done with his shower. This .. was not at all a wake up call she had expected. She wasn't mad; no. Far from it. But she was definitely unable to help but be somewhat anxious just from the thought.

Because Dante had thought that Trinity was going to be sleeping for quite some time to come, he didn’t really feel as if he had too much to worry about, so he decided to take his time in the shower. Besides, he usually liked to take his time anyway. As he stood under the stream of hot water, Dante picked up his favourite shower gel that was in the shower, and he squirted a few dollops of it into the palm of his hand. He rubbed some of it onto his body, lathering it in as he washed himself in the shower. Even though his ability to regenerate had helped him to feel better, something else that was helping him to feel better was the shower that he was taking. There again, taking a shower had always helped him to feel better, even before he had been turned into a vampire.

Dante remained in the shower for close to twenty minutes, and he would have remained in there for a little longer, but he felt as if he had to get out soon, otherwise he knew he never would. A few minutes more passed before he eventually turned off the shower and climbed out. Dante walked over to the towel rack that was in the bathroom, and he pulled off one of the towels. Afterwards, he used the towel to dry himself off, and then he got dressed in the clothes he had picked out for himself. Dante threw the wet towel into the laundry basket, and then he moved over to the bathroom window and he opened it up. After opening up the bathroom window, he turned around and walked over to the mirror on the wall. Wiping off the steam that had gathered, he looked at his reflection in the mirror, and he decided to leave his hair just the way it was. Since he had nothing else to do in the bathroom, he pulled open the door and stepped outside and back into his bedroom.

There was a small smile on his face as he saw Trinity in their bed. He was surprised that she was awake, but he had no idea that she had woken up already, ran back to her own room to throw up and then return to his room. Dante walked around to her side of the bed, and when he got there, he sat down on the edge of the bed, looking down at her with a smile on his face. ”Well hello there beautiful.” He spoke in a soft tone as he had said this to her. ”I thought you were still going to be asleep.” The smile remained on his face as he leaned forward to place a kiss on her lips. Afterwards, he lightly stroked her cheek. ”Anyway, how are you feeling? Are you feeling any better now that you’ve had a good night’s sleep?”

Thankfully, the sickness had been leaving her alone while she had been lying down. If the water had changed at all, she heard no exclamations hinting Dante had noticed. Her mind had been racing a mile a minute, maybe more, as was her heart. The wake up call she'd gotten .... was she merely over-thinking? Normally, she'd think yes. But ... Trinity almost never got sick. Deciding not to dwell on it for now, she smiled as Dante finally walked out, inhaling the new scent from the soap and shampoo. "Lovely fragrance you chose." She murmured softly, closing her eyes to relax against his shirt.

A light smirk replaced her anxious smile as her hand tilted. "Normally, I probably would be. But ... my internal alarm clock probably got me up. Even though I'm taking a slight break from hunting ... my mind is still in the same set." She paused to contemplate on a good answer. She was not feeling the best; but she really didn't want to worry him. If she could help it, that was. Her smile widened as her arms went around him again. "Much less sore, thanks. It's still there though barely at all."

She looked up to Dante, her eyes opening. "I'd say you look less ... exhausted yourself. I'm assuming you slept as well as I did also then?" Pressing a soft kiss to his lips, she let her head rest against the pillow. She'd get started with her tasks in a bit. Right now, she wanted to indulge herself and simultaneously try to ensure her illness wouldn't try to act up now that he was awake. Or, if it had to, when she could try to slip away again.

Dante smiled some more as he had sat down on the edge of the bed beside Trinity. He had no idea that she was feeling ill, or that she had even been sick, but if he had known, then the chances were likely it would only have caused him to worry more about her. He smiled at her comment about his scent. ”Well I’m glad you like it, I really am. It’s from my favourite shower gel and shampoo.” The smile remained as he looked down at her. ”Showers always help me to feel better, so feel free to take one yourself when you are able to get up. Maybe it could help you to feel better if you’re not feeling up to scratch now. We can also see about moving your stuff in here too….even though we would only be moving the dresses from your room in here for the time being. Your other stuff from your other home will have to wait until you go back there to retrieve it.”

He tilted his head to the side slightly as he listened to her speaking. ”Are you saying that you would normally go out hunting around this time in the morning?” He had always thought that most hunters would only hunt at night. He had never really assumed that there might be some hunters out there who would also hunt during the day. Of course he didn’t really know if this was what she was saying to him, but it certainly did sound like it. ”Just remember what I said.” He swung one of his legs up onto the bed and then he leaned back a little bit before allowing his arm to slip around her shoulder. ”I am still up for going out hunting with you one night. I can even help to point out some of the really bad vampires. I will point out some of the vampires who always take more blood than they really need. They are some of the ones who tend to kill their victims.” He spoke in a relatively serious tone as he had said this to her. These were normally the types of vampires he would avoid himself, but there had been a few times when he had a run in or two with them. ”I’m glad that you’re feeling a little better though. You can stay in bed until you’re no longer feeling sore.”

He laughed a little bit at her comment, and then he let his fingers start to run through her hair softly. ”I sure did sleep really well, but there again, I think my ability to regenerate might also have something to do with the fact I’m looking less exhausted compared to you.” His fingers continued to slowly move through her hair, and then he leaned down and gently pressed his lips against hers. He held the kiss for a few moments before pulling away, and as he did, he gazed down into her eyes. ”Would you like something for breakfast Trinity?” He asked in a curious tone. ”I could do you some pancakes if you’re feeling hungry.” He said with a smile. He didn’t know if she would want breakfast or not, but he didn’t have a problem making her some pancakes if she did want them.

"I ... think I'll do that in a bit actually. That ... sounds really good." Along with the fact she could feel her stomach clenching again, but she was forcing it to stay hidden away. Her head shook no as she gently, though firmly, pushed herself to sit up. "That ... that's fine. I'm not really in much of a rush to get things from there." Her hands gently grasped the sheets as she held onto them, trying to avoid just darting off and running. This was definitely not one of the wisest things, she realized, but she really didn't yet know how to react to this awakening still herself.

"Heh, no no. I .... just have an internal alarm clock and usual schedule. It's ... a habit." Her body was inwardly screaming the longer she kept trying to force herself to hold back and finally, she stood up on her feet. Her head shook no slightly. "I ... I'll be fine. Hot water - a soak to be more exact - should help with any remaining tender parts of me. So .. I'll go do that."

Giving Dante a bow of her head to acknowledge she heard him, she broke into a run. But at the mention of breakfast, she quickly called back in a loud and audible "Please!". Once she got into her bathroom, she began drawing a bath. Grabbing her hair back again, tears fell as she began puking again. A whine left as she shakily pushed herself back up on her feet, trembling a bit. Wiping her face clean with a paper towel, she tossed it away, sighing lowly.

After flushing, she pushed the plug in so the tub could begin to fill. Wearily putting a hand under the water, she then slipped in once she felt the temperature where she wished it to be. Her eyes closed as she sobbed silently. She'd heard morning sickness - assuming what this was - was never pleasant. She never thought it was this bad though. Once the tub got full enough, she turned the water off and forced her crying to stop. That definitely would be the last thing Dante would need to hear. Wiping her tears away, she shook as her head rested against the wall. Slowly, she began to take steady breaths to keep herself calm.

Dante still had no idea that there was anything wrong with Trinity, but he would have asked questions if he even had the slightest idea that something may have been wrong. However, he did tilt his head to the side when he saw her get out of their bed and all but run for the bathroom door. He lightly scratched the back of his head for a few moments, but then he simply shrugged his shoulders, choosing to think nothing of it.

Shortly after Trinity had disappeared into the bathroom, Dante heard the sound of her running the bathwater. Due to this, he didn’t hear her being sick, so he simply thought she was running herself a bath. With a smile on his face, he made his way to the large oak double doors of the bedroom. Once there, he pulled one of them open and stepped outside, and then he closed the door behind him. After doing so, he headed down the hallway, and it didn’t take him too long to reach the twisting staircase that would lead down to the ground floor of the mansion. It took him all but a couple of seconds to descend the stairs, and when he had reached the bottom, he turned and headed down the hallway, making his way into the kitchen that was at the end of the hallway.

Once he was in the kitchen, Dante set about finding what he needed to make pancakes for both him and Trinity. He pulled out a frying pan, as well as the ingredients needed for the pancakes. Afterwards, he walked on over to the large cooker he had in his kitchen, and he turned it on, lighting up one of the hobs. Dante placed the frying pan on the lit hob, and then added the ingredients into the frying pan. He turned up the heat a little bit on the hob he was using, and then he started to make the pancakes for both him and Trinity. ”Hmm, I wonder how much pancakes she is going to want?” He thought it over for a couple of seconds before a smile spread across his face. ”I know what I will do.” With that said, Dante set about making pancakes for the both of them.

It took him around twenty minutes in total before he was finally done making them both some pancakes. All in all, he had made sixteen pancakes in total. He moved over to a kitchen cabinet to his left and just above him, and he pulled it open. After pulling it open, he removed three plates and closed it up soon afterwards. Dante set all three plates down on the counter, and then he turned off the hob on the cooker and removed the frying pan. After doing so, he placed all sixteen pancakes on one plate, leaving the other two plates empty. ”Hmm, well at least this way, she will be free to decide how many pancakes she wants.” Dante looked down at the pancakes before realizing the most important thing was missing. ”Oh, the toppings.” He slapped his forehead before moving around the kitchen to retrieve various different toppings for the pancakes. It didn’t take too long to gather up the toppings, and when he had gathered them up, he returned to the counter where he had left the plate of pancakes. He set the different toppings down, which included syrup, sugar, lemon juice, chocolate sprinkles, strawberries and even raisins and sultanas.

Thinking Trinity might be more comfortable in bed, Dante found out a relatively large tray, and he put all three plates on the tray, along with the different toppings he had found out for them. He also made sure he didn’t forget the utensils they were going to need, and just as he was about to pick up the tray and leave the kitchen, Dante realised one more thing. He realised he hadn’t got them both a drink. Slapping his forehead again, Dante quickly found out two large glasses and filled them both with water. Now that he was sure he had everything he needed, he picked up the tray and headed out of the kitchen, making his way back down the hallway and back up the stairs. This time though, it took him a little bit longer as he didn’t want to run the risk of dropping the tray, and their breakfast at the same time. Once at the top of the stairs, he walked along to his room, taking a few minutes to get there. Dante pushed open one of the doors when he did get there, and after walking back inside, he walked over to the bed. Since Trinity wasn’t there, he assumed she was still in the bathroom, so he set the tray down on the nightstand by her side of the bed. Now all he had to do was to wait for her to come out of the bathroom.

Dante was very right. Even while Trinity soaked in the tub, her stomach clenched a few times. She found herself whimpering and biting down on her lower lip to keep curses from leaving her lips. After washing her body and hair, it gave in. Turning the faucet on, more tears left as she gave in for the third time today. ....They do say third time's charm. Maybe it'll go away for a longer while after this? Shuddering as she wiped her tears away along with her mouth, she prayed - mentally begged even - that would be the case. This was driving her almost insane. With a weary sigh, she turned the faucet off but not before washing her hands. Gazing at herself in the mirror, a low chuckle did leave. Thank gods she never relied on wearing make-up; it'd be a wreck by now.

Rubbing any sleep away from her eyes, she then turned the hair dryer on, beginning to get her locks warm. Flushing while the dryer was still going, she finished after about ten minutes, exhaling softly. Strolling into her room after finishing her hair, she began going through the drawers again. For a bit, it really did seem like there were mainly dresses. Thankfully, after a bit of searching, she found other types of clothing. A nice and comfortable pair of jeans along with a sexy tank top. She wouldn't bother with shoes ... not yet. She'd worry about that later.

Hearing a door open and close not too far away, she smiled as she heard Dante walk back in. "Sorry about that. Hope I didn't keep you waiting." Noting he had read her mind with the tray, she smiled. "Mmm thank you." Pressing a gentle kiss upon his lips, she slowly climbed upon their bed, being careful about the tray.

After he had returned to his room with the tray of breakfast, Dante didn’t know how long he would be waiting for Trinity to come out of the bathroom. Luckily for him, he didn’t find himself waiting too long for her. He had been sitting on the bed for a little over five minutes when she eventually opened up the bathroom door and stepped outside. A smile formed on his face as he saw what she was wearing. He waited for her to make her way back over to the bed, and when she climbed onto the bed, he smiled to her before wrapping an arm around her and pulling her into his lap. As he pulled her into his lap, he placed a kiss on her lips, holding the kiss for a few moments before he pulled away. As he pulled away from the kiss, he gazed into her eyes with that same devilish smile on his face. ”I must say you are looking hot today, especially in that tank top.” He smirked a little bit as his eyes travelled down to the tank top she was wearing.

Dante smiled a little bit as he turned his attention back towards the tray that he had set down on the nightstand by her side of the bed. Afterwards, he looked back to Trinity once more. ”I didn’t really know how many pancakes you were going to want, so I just stuck them all on one plate. That way, you can take what you want, and then there’s also the toppings I’ve brought up too. You can choose what toppings you want, and there’s a glass of water to go with it.” He smiled some more before turning back to the tray that was on the nightstand. He shifted his position a little bit and picked up the tray, and since Trinity was still perched on his lap, he set the tray down beside the both of them. He took one of the empty plates off the tray and handed it to her. ”Here you go.” He removed the other empty plate off the tray soon afterwards, and then he picked up a knife and fork and handed them to her also. ”Now just help yourself to the pancakes. After all, there are more than enough pancakes there.” He paused for a moment as he looked down at the plate of pancakes. ”I’ve done…..sixteen pancakes…..I think, so just help yourself okay.”

With that said, Dante picked up his own knife and fork, and he placed at least three of the pancakes on his plate for the time being. Afterwards, he picked up the bottle of syrup, opened it up and then he poured quite a bit of syrup onto his pancakes. He closed up the bottle of syrup and he was about to set it back down on the tray, but then he stopped. ”Are you going to want any syrup?” He asked as he held the bottle of syrup up to Trinity, even though he noticed she hadn’t gotten any pancakes on her plate just yet.

After how sick she'd been feeling, the compliment was a very nice change of pace. It made her forget about it and smirked up to Dante. "Thank you. It seems your ... 'creator' didn't only want his women in dresses." Taking the plate first then the silverware, she first looked among everything. "You overdid it; though thank you all the same." She still didn't understand some of the toppings he chose at times. Mainly things like the lemon juice. Wouldn't that have made it both sour and sweet? Sometimes they could mix well enough but it was intriguing to imagine such a topping upon pancakes.

Unfortunately for poor Dante, her body didn't need to be told or think twice on getting as many pancakes. With having only had breakfast to eat yesterday and the sickness, she'd more than eagerly oblige him. And it showed as she literally got twice as many as he did. Her head quickly nodded at the request of syrup. "Definitely." She murmured, taking some of the strawberries and using those also for toppings. Once she finished placing them where she had wanted, she took the syrup and poured it upon the food.

A very content sigh - nearly a moan - left as she took the first bite, her eyes slowly closing. "Mmm thank you." Her mind went to racing. While to extents it annoyed her, she knew it would be needed. Mainly about wondering things like how keen exactly his senses were and thus how fast he'd notice the change in her blood. Normally, she wouldn't be able to find out if she was expecting till two weeks later. Why the human body seemed to work so slow she didn't understand.

So if vampires are literally about twice as strong and fast as humans, maybe one week or less? The logic made sense to her ... so she'd go on that for now. Then ... was there a point to keeping the mere possibility silent? Part of her said no and then the other reminded her why she'd been so secretive in the first place. She was Dante's first ... with pretty much everything. She didn't want him fretting at the sight of her dashing off towards the bathroom. Biting down in annoyance on her lower lip, she nodded slowly on the reminder.

Her head tilted back, showing only her smile to him. "Did you have an agenda for today love? Or suggestions on one?" She added, looking back down before her smirk widened. As she bit into the pancake and strawberry, she began purposely eating both - though the latter especially - slowly.

He had smiled a little bit as he had thought about what she had said about his ‘creator’ wanting his women in more than just dresses. Dante nodded his head in agreement as he looked Trinity over one more time. ”Yeah, it certainly seems like it. Still, I’m definitely not complaining, especially if you’re looking as hot as you are now.” He smirked a little as he had said this to her, but then he looked down to the pancakes after being told he had overdone it with the pancakes. Again, he couldn’t help but nod his head in agreement. ”I had a feeling that I may have done too much pancakes.” He shrugged his shoulders a little bit before continuing. ”But there again, I would rather do too many pancakes rather than not enough. That way, with too much pancakes, there is always going to be enough…..even if there is too much.” He lightly scratched the top of his head as he had said this. ”If that makes any sense?” It almost made sense to him, but he was hoping that it may have made sense to her too.

Dante was surprised when he saw how many pancakes Trinity took. She had taken twice as many as he had, but there again, there were more than enough pancakes there, so he didn’t really mind. ”You must be feeling hungry this morning.” He smiled as he looked to the pancakes on her plate. Afterwards, he started to eat the pancakes on his plate. He cut up one of the pancakes and took a bite out of it, smiling as he did so. He had always loved pancakes even as a human, and now that he was a vampire, that was something that hadn’t really changed a great deal. It really didn’t take him too long to get through his first pancake, and as soon as he had done, he started on his second.

He was still yet to notice the change in her blood. Of course, this may have had something to do with the fact he wasn’t feeling too hungry…..for blood anyway. Sure, he could still pick up the scent of blood even when he didn’t need to feed, but his senses always seemed to be better when he needed to feed. He continued to eat his second pancake, and he dipped a piece of the pancake in some of the syrup that was on his plate. After doing so, he shoved the piece of the pancake into his mouth, chewing it over a few times before he swallowed it. As he had just finished this piece of pancake, he turned his attention back towards Trinity again. ”I know I might not be human anymore, but I still can’t help but love pancakes. I don’t know what it is about them, but they are just so….yummy.” He had a huge grin on his face as he had looked back to Trinity again.

It was after this that he thought over her question for a few moments. He cut up another piece of his pancake and bit into it as he was thinking over her question. He turned to look back to Trinity a second or so later. ”Actually, I was going to offer you the rest of the tour today, but after last night, I’m thinking a day in bed wouldn’t go a miss……or at least a couple of hours in bed…..or basically just a very relaxing day.” He tilted his head to the side for a moment, looking down at her. ”We could even sit in the main living room and watch movies all day, or we could sit up here and watch movies….or do you have something in mind love?” He asked in a somewhat curious tone.

"I've been often told it doesn't matter what I wear. Anything, apparently, looks good. I ignored the words back then because ... well the sources weren't overly reliable. But now that you've said this is nice-looking ... maybe I'll heed the words more." Her smile widened, easily finishing half of her stack. To avoid giving herself a stomach ache or - gods forbid - any other incentive to puke later today, she set her fork and knife down beside the untouched pancakes. Waiting to finish chewing first, Trinity nodded at his question. "Absolutely. It makes perfect sense. And yes, it's usually much better to have a surplus than not enough; economically or just ... in general situations such as this."

Her smile widened more as she listened to him for now. "...It's things like that which make me tease you about being a dhampir. But ... I guess the better theory, maybe, is most full vampires just refuse to hold onto their humanity. They embrace the change ... though I suppose with the changing process being called 'The Embrace', it makes more than ample sense to do just that." She chuckled softly at noticing the irony of the facts. A light nod left as she realized she'd almost skipped a question. "Well .... we both did sorta skip lunch and dinner last night. So yes, I'm very hungry. You don't technically need to so your appetite probably isn't as high as it used to be. But anyways ... since you've clung to some of your humanity, you ... remember things from back then. And with your senses being heightened, it would - I would guess - add onto your desire for certain things. Like your love for pancakes. You remember not only how to make them but why they appeal to you ... so that plus your heightened senses make them more desirable to you. More than usual anyways."

Thinking over her words, she took her turn to add. "Does that make any sense to you?" Letting him think over it, she then resumed eating. When he asked if she had anything in mind, she went perfectly silent. She should say yes ... but admittingly, the idea of a lazy day did sound a bit nice. The workaholic part of her was screaming at herself for even daring to consider that though. Closing her eyes to think on this, they opened after a bit. "I think I'll mix and match a bit. I definitely wouldn't mind snuggling. But I do need to get a few things done. Otherwise I may never get to that." She added, her smile widening.

"It's mainly gathering though ... there is another thing to be done." Each year got easier; but the pain of having lost her parents had never truly faded. And she made it a habit to go to their graves when she deemed it necessary. Having not been able to in the past six months, she was definitely way overdue by now. "Were it not for the fact it may attract other vampires, I'd ask to be alone. But I wouldn't mind if you helped me watch my back. Honestly ... I've kinda hated paying my respects on my own. It's really nerve-wracking, regardless on the time of day. Even mornings aren't guaranteed to be safe with Daywalkers such as yourself existing. Whomever found my family ... was definitely one. That was made clear when I got back to the home and found it the way it was in the afternoon. By then, the sun's always at it's highest point - one of them anyways. Any normal vampire would have just dusted away."

The flashbacks forced themselves to play a few times in her mind before she shoved them away, shaking her head as she soon finished up. A light frown crossed her face. Even with the six, it hadn't felt like enough. A now sheepish grin crossed her lips as she grabbed two more for herself. Just this alone, along with the illness, was making her more and more certain she probably was. She never ate this much ... not usually. But right now, she felt as if she had, needed to do so.

It came as no real surprise to him when Trinity told him that she would often get told that she looked good in what she would wear. ”Well that really doesn’t surprise me Trinity. You are very attractive, so it’s only natural that everything is going to look good on you. Still, I can understand why you would have ignored the words before, especially if I think about the type of people who would have said it to you.” He smiled a little bit more before he finished up his second pancake. After finishing up his second pancake, he started on his third, cutting it up into a few pieces before he stuck a piece into his mouth. He chewed it over a few times before swallowing it. ”I’m glad you agree with me on that one. For a few moments, I almost thought that I may not have made enough, but that was when I had only started making them. Still, even if we don’t finish these now, we can always finish them later.” The grin on his face widened a little bit, before he burst out laughing. ”I’m only joking. I may have had cold pizza before, but I’ve never really had cold pancakes, so if we don’t eat all of these, we can always make some more later.”

Dante found himself seriously thinking as Trinity spoke. By now, he had managed to finish his third pancake. He didn’t mind the fact that she would tease him, but he did think about what she had said afterwards. As he was thinking about it, he set his knife and fork down before reaching for some more pancakes. He took another three pancakes off the plate with all of the pancakes, and he put the three pancakes on his empty plate. He turned his attention back towards Trinity a second later. ”I don’t really mind the fact that you tease me, mainly because I am only going to tease you right back.” He smirked a little bit and winked at her before continuing. ”But on a serious note, I think you are right about most vampires. Most seem to have let go of what humanity they may have had before. They may have embraced the change, but I don’t think that’s something I did. If anything, I tried to fight the change. I think when I realised what I had become, I wanted to do all I could to keep a hold of my humanity. I didn’t want to be like all of those other vampires out there, so I made sure I did what I could to retain most of my humanity.” He spoke in a softer tone as he had said this, but he was still serious nonetheless. ”What you say does make sense though, it really does. I know how my senses have been heightened, so it makes sense that my desire for certain things are likely to be heightened also.”

He had noticed the way she had fallen silent after he had asked her if she had anything in mind that she wanted to do. Either way, Dante didn’t really mind what they would end up doing, mainly because he was going to be happy either way. He nodded his head as she told him what she wanted to do. As she told him what she wanted to do, Dante started to cut up and eat his first pancake. He stuck a piece of the pancake into his mouth, chewed it over a few times and swallowed it. After doing so, he set his knife and fork down as he looked back to Trinity again. ”Like I said, I don’t really mind if we have a lazy day or not. I am going to be happy regardless as to what we do today.” He smiled a little bit, thinking over what she had asked of him, and then he nodded his head, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. ”Of course I will go with you if you want me to. Just let me know when you plan on going, and I will be sure to go with you to watch your back.” He sighed a little bit before shaking his head. ”It’s a shame really though. You would think that other vampires might have at least a little bit of respect. It’s unfortunate that you cannot pay your respects in peace without the worry that something is going to happen to you. Don’t worry though, as I will go with you…..and if your family were attacked during the day, then whoever did it must have been a Daywalker, like you say. If I could help you find out the vampire responsible, then I would, but I would honestly have no idea where to start looking.” He spoke in that same soft tone again, and he did feel disappointed that he couldn’t help Trinity to find the vampire responsible for taking her family from her. He turned his attention towards the two remaining pancakes on the plate, and then he reached for them, taking them off the plate. After doing so, he placed them on Trinity’s plate, along with the two she had already grabbed off the plate. ”Here you go, you might as well have these. I can always make more if you want more.” He flashed her another smile before he started to eat the pancakes he had on his plate.

"....Now .... though I will have the rest later." Trinity murmured giving Dante a kiss before getting up. "Otherwise ... I'm going to become too hesitant and ... don't want that. I just need socks and shoes real fast." Heading to her room and grabbing a pair of socks plus sneakers. Oh gods these were so much better than the heels. What a relief .... She thought. Nodding to Dante she then began descending down all the stairs. She thought back on her epiphany and how she had realized which vampire it had to have been that killed her parents .... then upon trying to remember his appearance, her head shook no.

"Whomever tried to shove the blame on you which .... makes it weirder the more I think on this. Why you of any other vampire? And .... how'd they get your name? But ... I can't recall what he looked like. I definitely remember the eyes were not crimson .... and I should have started considering things from that point. I know some can willingly change. Stupid me sometimes ..." She added, the last part barely above a whisper.

Her head shook as she gazed to Dante out of the corner of her eyes. "I have no idea if this is beginning to help you at all ... or be a hint for you. But ..... that's the best starting point. See if that makes any sense and if you can figure out whom it is from that. Otherwise .... I'd have to see them again in the same form I did in the tavern probably. But I doubt that's going to happen." Whether it was because she was on her own mission of sorts or something else, Trinity's steps were lighter and faster than usual it felt like.

The walk was long but ah well. This was definitely a nice way to get exercise. There was one stop before her house, though. The flower shop. Thankfully when Dante had taken her back to his mansion the night he did, Trinity did have another object besides her clothes with her. Her wallet had been in her pocket and she'd grabbed it before leaving. Paying for two red roses, she then led Dante further into London. It was in between the upper class and slum part of town.

As a small brown house came into view, Trinity paused to glance at it before walking in. Going past the front door she went straight for a bit before coming to a glass sliding door that led outside. What used to obviously be a backyard was .... all but in ruins. The playground was very old and time had been anything but kind to anything that had lived here. Well, for the most part.

Behind everything else, against a massive tree, were two wooden crosses. It seemed Trinity had gone through the liberty of burying them herself. Setting one rose down in front of each grave, she then lowered her head slowly. Why she was so close to tears so quickly was beyond her ... but her eyes had already began to form them. Some people spoke aloud, as if the deceased were there. Trinity ... sort of did. Though not aloud, in her mind.

Hey mom ... dad. I ... I'm sorry I'm a bit late. She softly sighed, shaking her head at herself. That ... sounded pathetic, knowing they wouldn't mind. She gave a light nod towards Dante, knowing he wasn't too far away. You've.... probably been seeing already but .... he's my lover now. And definitely not the typical vampire. The longer she stared at the crosses, the harder it was becoming to avoid crying. Damnit ... I ... They finally gave in and began to fall down her face, her body shaking. She didn't know what to begin to think. She'd wanted to apologize for being too late.... but it didn't seem to matter now. Her hands went in front of her face though it didn't stop the tears from escaping in between her skin and fingers.

Since he didn’t really have anything to do that day, Dante had no real problem in going with Trinity to pay her respects to her parents. He didn’t mind going with her at all. After all, it would get him out of his home, and he would be there for her, which was the main thing in his opinion. He had remained in his room as Trinity had disappeared briefly to go and get her sneakers to put on. When she had returned moments later, he got up off the bed after finishing up what pancakes he had left, and then he walked with her as they left his room. After walking down the hallway, he found himself thinking about what she was saying to him as they descended the stairs and walked out of the mansion. Of course, he didn’t really know where they were going to have to go, but he was sure Trinity knew where they were going. Because of this, Dante figured he would just follow her, which is exactly what he did.

He didn’t really know where they were going, but Dante did pay attention to where Trinity was leading him. He hadn’t really been to this part of London before, so it was all new to him. He would look around as she led him through the streets, but he stayed by her side. Dante remained outside of the flower shop they had stopped off at, and he remained outside until Trinity had returned moments later with two red roses in her hand. Shortly after they had started walking again, he turned his attention back towards her after he had gave more thought to what she had said. ”I really don’t know why another vampire would want me to take the blame for what happened to your family. I wasn’t even a vampire when your family was taken from you, but if they had my name, then that must mean something.” He paused for a moment as he tried to think what it could possibly mean. Unfortunately for him, not a lot came to mind. Well, not as much as he would have liked anyway. ”Like you said, the vampire responsible had to have been a Daywalker, and there aren’t really many of them about, so that probably rules out more than three quarters of the vampire population.” He lightly tapped his chin in thought. ”If I was mistaken for the vampire who took your family from you, then that must mean……there is the slight possibility that the one who turned me could be responsible. After all, I have heard that when a human gets turned, they sometimes take on features of the vampire who turned them.” He turned to Trinity after having said this. ”It’s just something I’ve heard, but I don’t know if it’s true or not. I mean, it could be true, as I didn’t have this longish black hair when I was a human. My eyes weren’t icy blue like this either….but even if it wasn’t him, then it could have been a vampire he may have known. It could even have been the vampire who may have killed him as there is the possibility that he wasn’t killed by a hunter. I remember hearing rumours that he had his heart ripped clean out of his chest, but I just thought those were rumours and nothing more. I never really saw any reason to take them seriously, mainly because I didn’t think vampires would do that to other vampires.”

Dante walked with Trinity until they came upon a small brown house. It wasn’t a house that he had seen before, but he figured it must have been their destination as he saw Trinity disappearing inside. Slowly, Dante followed her inside, and he followed her through to the backyard. However, as Trinity walked over to the massive tree at the bottom of the backyard, Dante decided to stay just by the glass sliding doors. He figured that Trinity would want to pay her respects to her parents, and he was still in a position where he would be able to watch her back without having to worry too much about her. Dante folded his arms across his chest as he watched Trinity paying her respects to her parents. I wonder who really is responsible for the death of her parents? It can’t be the one who turned me….can it? He thought to himself with a puzzled look upon his face. Dante really didn’t know if the one who turned him was responsible for the death of her parents, but he was hoping that he would be able to help her find out…..somehow. He was going to stay over by the glass doors, but as he watched Trinity, he saw her start to cry. Dante watched her for a few moments more before he made his way over to her. It didn’t take him too long to reach her, and when he did, he placed a gentle hand on her shoulder and turned her around to face him. Without saying anything to her, he pulled her into a hug, holding her close to him in an attempt to comfort her. He placed a hand on the back of her head, letting his fingers run softly through her hair. ”It’s okay Trinity. We will find the one responsible.” He whispered to her in a comforting tone. However, as he had held her close to him, Dante was positive that there was something different about her. He couldn’t be sure, but he was positive that there was something different about the scent of her blood. Just what that was yet, he didn’t really know.

Little did Trinity or Dante know, but they were both being watched. In the shadows, not too far from their current destination, there was another vampire watching them. However, the main focus of his attention seemed to be fixed solely on Trinity. As he watched Trinity, he folded his arms across his chest and nodded his head. The time will come sooner than you expect, my darling. I will make you mine, one way or another. He thought to himself as he continued to watch the pair. The vampire, who simply went by the name of Alexi was clearly older than Dante. He had been a vampire for many, many years now. Just how long, no-one could really be sure. This was mainly to do with the fact he was a vampire who was hardly ever seen around. Just what he wanted with Trinity was unclear as of yet.

Even when Trinity felt Dante hold her, she also had another familiar sensation flow through her. But what made it worse was this had not been the first time that this happened, especially during paying her respects. Her hands quickly moved off her face as her head turned. Though she saw no one, the feeling of being watched ... wasn't leaving her. She swallowed as her tears began to slow. It wouldn't be good to overdo it, especially if she was expecting. Now fear was kicking in as the more dominant emotion, though she was trying to keep that away from Dante.

"I ... we need to go." She murmured softly, beginning to wipe her tears away. "It's .. there again. I'm fucking being watched again ... " She quickly but gently led Dante back inside, her hand shaking a bit. "Hopefully ... this one has to follow the rule about being invited inside anywhere ...." She added, waiting to get them both back inside before closing the glass door. Her gaze remained outside for a bit before finally turning back to Dante.

"I'm ... going to get some clothes real fast." The feeling was bothering her. Even with bringing Dante here ... this had still happened? That had been a good part of the reason she'd asked him to join her; to prevent this. But still ... she'd felt something. Whether it was the same one or different, she wasn't sure. Though it'd be a bit weird to be something new every time so she assumed it to be the same one. A low sigh left as she massaged her forehead, heading to her room. As she opened every drawer, she pulled out clothes that still fit her and tossed them upon her bed, leaving anything that was too small inside.

Pulling a suitcase out from her closet, she gazed around again. Sometimes, she had self-taught herself, it was better to be a bit paranoid than not enough. Now was definitely one of those times. Moving a strand of her hair behind her ear, she began packing. Her fingers tapped as she thought what else to grab. Deciding to go on and get her toiletries - tampons, toothbrush and toothpaste to avoid using all of Dante's until she got her pay, she went into the bathroom. Grabbing all of those, she put them into the suitcase and finally zipping it closed.

Thankfully it was one of the ones with wheels so it wasn't too annoying to carry. Setting it down on the wheels first, she went back to the glass door. She stared outside to ensure the roses were still there .... before looking back to Dante. "....Alright. I'm ready. Are you?"

Dante was glad that he had been able to be there for Trinity, but as he had been standing out there with her, Dante had been unable to shake the feeling that they weren’t alone. The only problem he had with it was the fact that he couldn’t seem to figure out why he felt as if they weren’t alone. It almost felt as if there was someone watching them, but as much as he would look around, he just couldn’t seem to see anyone around. As far as he could tell, it was just him and Trinity there. After all, who else could be out there? And what reason would they have for wanting to watch him and Trinity? Dante couldn’t answer any of these questions, no matter how much he wanted to. Of course, he was hoping that he was wrong in the assumption that they were being watched by someone, but the feeling was just there, and it wasn’t going away anytime soon.

This was only really confirmed for him as Trinity told him that she also felt as if she was being watched too. It made him realise that he wasn’t crazy in thinking they were being watched. He took one more look around as she led him inside the house once more. Dante remained standing by the glass sliding door, looking outside as Trinity had quickly disappeared upstairs to get herself some clothes. He remained there until she had come back down the stairs, and he turned to face her as she had returned to the kitchen with a suitcase in tow. ”I don’t know what it is, but I get the feeling that we are being watched too. I don’t normally get that feeling, so there must be something or someone out there. The only question is….who or what is out there? And why are they watching us? Don’t worry though, as no vampire can get in without getting invited in first.” He spoke in a concerned tone as he looked back outside once again. ”I’m ready to go now. You have paid your respects to your parents, which is what you wanted to do, and you’ve got your clothes too, so we can head back to the mansion now. That is if you don’t have anything else that you need to do.”

Dante was about to turn away from the glass sliding door to leave with Trinity, but before he had the chance, he saw something out of the corner of his eye. Turning back towards the glass sliding door, Dante looked outside once more. For a moment, he was sure he saw movement down by the bottom of the back yard. From the bottom of the back yard, a figure emerged from behind the large tree. That figure was none other than Alexi. The older vampire walked up the back yard and right up to the glass sliding door, and when he got there, he stood outside, looking from Dante to Trinity. Alexi folded his arms across his chest as he focused on Dante. ”So, we meet again Dante.” He smirked a little bit before turning the focus of his attention back towards Trinity. ”I have been watching you for quite some time Trinity. You might not know it now, but I will make you mine sooner than you realise. I will show you the true potential of what lies within you.” That same smirk remained on his face as he spoke. ”You will be seeing me again Trinity.” With that said, he turned on his heel and ran off down the backyard, leaping up into the tall tree at the end of the back yard. From the tree, he disappeared, leaping further off into the distance.

The fact that even Dante was sensing someone also made her feel better to some degree. She wasn't being too paranoid it meant. But it definitely made her very anxious. She gave a nervous smile as she nodded. "Y-yeah I know. That's why I hurried inside to ... to prevent that." Her head shook no and she had been ready to say she was ready to go. Her head tilted to Dante as he turned away. "....What is it?" She asked softly.

A gasp left as she moved away instinctively, forgetting he was still outside the glass door. She was confused ... a bit scared even. This person ... knew Dante? How? "...Huh?" That was all she could manage to muster as he revealed he'd been ... watching her. W-wait so ... is he the person who's been watching me for so long? Before she could even try to ask her questions to the new figure, he had run away. Her heart was racing as she swallowed nervously.

Her muscles had seemed to forget how to move. She looked slowly to Dante, still very confused. "W..why .. did he know you? Who is he? And ... what's he mean by 'potential'? I ... I'm just a hunter." She stammered, an anxious laugh leaving at the end of the questions. Suddenly ... she almost didn't feel safe on heading back, not even if Dante were beside her. His last words had made her very anxious.

"You will be seeing me again Trinity."

It made her shiver even though she had no idea whom the man had been. But something - an instinct she assumed - was telling her to avoid that ... no matter what it took. But .. how? He'd found them both so easily. Was there really a way to avoid him?

Dante seemed just as confused as Trinity as he had turned back to face her after the mystery vampire had disappeared. He was able to hear what she was saying to him, but he didn’t really know how to answer her, so he shrugged his shoulders. ”I wish I know how he knows me…..I really do, but I have no idea.” He looked back outside for a moment before turning his attention back towards Trinity once more. ”That’s the first time I’ve ever seen him, so you would think I would remember seeing someone like him, especially if he claims to know me.” Dante folded one arm across his chest, and then he cupped his chin in his other hand as a somewhat thoughtful expression formed on his face. ”Did you notice something about him though?” He said to her. ”His eyes were exactly the same colour as mine, and his hair…..is just like mine too……only a whole lot longer.” Dante didn’t really know where he was going with this, but there was something about Alexi that didn’t seem right with him. ”He could be the reason why you thought I was the one responsible for your family. After all, he’s clearly not a human. He’s got to be a vampire, and since we are out in broad daylight, that would make him a Daywalker too.” Of course, he didn’t know what any of this meant, but he knew that it couldn’t really be good.

He took a hold of Trinity’s hand, turning away from the glass sliding doors once more, and then he started walking with her, making his way out of her home with her. After he had made it outside with her, he stopped once more, looking back over his shoulder to her again. ”We are going to have to figure all of this out when we get back to the mansion.” He spoke in a serious tone, knowing there was probably going to be a lot for the both of them to figure out. ”And I have no idea what he meant by ‘potential’. I wish I did know, but I don’t.” He paused for a moment before he started walking with Trinity once again. ”It is clear that he has been watching you for quite some time, but why is another question entirely. I don’t know what he sees in you, but he must see something special. He must think that you are something more than just a hunter……but what?” He whispered this last part, but Trinity still would have been able to hear him anyway. ”Of all the humans or hunters he could watch……why would he choose you?” Dante was still clearly confused by all of this.

During the time in which Dante led Trinity back to the mansion, he was sure to keep an eye out for the mystery vampire they had encountered back at Trinity’s old home. It took them quite some time to get back to the mansion, and Dante sighed with relief when they had made it back to the mansion. He pulled out his keys and unlocked the front door, and then he led Trinity back inside the mansion. Once inside, he closed the door behind them. Dante proceeded to lead Trinity through to the main living room that was in the mansion. He pulled open the doors to the living room and he walked inside, leading Trinity round to the large couch. He sat down on the large couch before he gently pulled her down beside him. After he had pulled her down beside him, he gently placed his arm around her shoulder, pulling her close to him. ”Don’t worry Trinity. We will figure all of this out, and I won’t let him get anywhere near you okay.” He spoke in a soft, yet reassuring tone as he had said this to her.

Her heart sank as Dante revealed he had no idea why or how the vampire knew of him either. She almost didn't want to go back to the mansion, remembering how far it was but worse than that, how empty it was. It would be so easy for just the two of them to be alone and ambushed ... and it made her shiver to think of. But staying here wouldn't be much better ... so when all was said and done, she nodded and began to silently follow Dante back. Her gaze remained down the entire walk, various questions racing through her mind. Who is he? What potential? Why ... why me of all the humans, hunters or non? The last had especially been a very good point Dante brought up to her.

Once they got in the front door, her hand shakily let go of her suitcase. She'd get it later. Right now ... she wanted Dante. Following him to the couch, she let her be guided to sit beside him. Her eyes closed as she went to a silent thinking mode. Dante's only been a vampire for a year. But ... don't all the changes happen instantaneously? Then again, that was when people embraced the change. He had admitted to fighting against it, which made her frown lightly. He may still be obtaining all of his powers since he'd tried to cling to his humanity. It would explain why he didn't know of the 'potential' the other vampire had spoken of.

She gave a slow nod as she finally looked up to Dante. "There are definitely some things that are a given. He is probably the presence I've been feeling for a while now. Him not having dusted away ... probably did mean .... no not probably. He definitely is a Daywalker." She had only wondered if he was human for a few seconds ... but then remembered his own crimson eyes. That had been the easiest signal that he was anything but one. Besides, a normal human wouldn't be able to speak of the 'potential' as easily as a vampire. Nor would they have worded it that way; they'd have just said what it was outright.

Her head rested against his shoulder, her body still trembling a bit. "I hope so ...I ... no one else even knows my name. He sounded like he knew as much about me as I do. That's ... unnatural, creepy." She murmured, her hands slowly going around his waist as she pulled herself closer.

Dante was only able to wish that he knew more about the mysterious vampire that they had both seen back at Trinity’s old house. Of course it didn’t really help that the vampire seemed to know both Dante and Trinity, yet the couple didn’t seem to know the vampire. It made just about as much sense to Dante as it seemed to make to Trinity. Unfortunately, this wasn’t really a lot of sense. Well, it wasn’t as much sense as he would have liked it to make anyway. Dante knew that the vampire had been watching Trinity for a while, but the only problem was the fact he didn’t know how long the vampire had been watching her. It was clear that the vampire had been watching her a lot longer than he had known her. After all, Dante had only really been with Trinity since the previous night, so it really could have been anyone’s guess as to how long the vampire had been watching her. Dante just wished he was able to figure out why the vampire had been watching her, mainly because none of it made any sense to him…..at all.

As Trinity moved closer to him on the couch, he let his head rest gently against her own as she had rested her head against his shoulder. ”There must be some reason why he has been choosing to watch you, but I just wish that I could figure out what that is, and since there really aren’t that many Daywalkers around, he must have been around for quite some time. I’m guessing he’s been a vampire longer than I have though.” He paused for a moment after having said this. ”It’s creepy how he seems to know the both of us, but what I’m more interested in is this potential that he sees in you.” There was a thoughtful expression on his face. ”It must be something that only other vampires can see……but then that raises the question as to why….I…can’t see this potential in you either.” Dante couldn’t help but feel bad about the fact that he couldn’t see the potential in Trinity that this other vampire was able to see in her. ”Maybe this potential is something that’s hidden deep within you? Something that you haven’t realised yet.” Dante was still trying to figure out just what it could be, but he really was having no luck. ”It must be something serious for this vampire to be watching you as long as he has. Especially if he seems to think that he’s going to make you his.” He sighed a little to himself soon afterwards. ”I just feel bad for the fact I’m not able to pick up on this potential of yours just yet.”

Leaning back into the couch, Dante sighed softly to himself. ”I will do my best to keep you safe from him. I’m not going to let any harm come to you okay.” He spoke in a soft tone as he held her close to him. ”Maybe we could attempt to find out about this potential by ourselves. I don’t really know how we are going to be able to do that, but maybe there are some books in the library that might help us out.” He suggested to her. Of course, he didn’t really know if any of the books in the library would be of any help, but he could only hope that they would. After all, he was sure that at least one of the books in the library could be of some help in the least. Well, he was hoping so anyway. ”What do you think Trinity?” He asked in a curious tone. ”We did say that we were going to go to the library, but now it looks like we might have another reason to go there. I guess all we can do is hope that there will be some books that might be able to help us out. That other vampire might know about this potential of yours, but I wouldn’t want to take the chance of asking him.” He spoke in a soft tone as he let his fingers run softly through her hair.

Trinity stayed silent as Dante spoke all his thoughts on this situation. She let her mind re-think on it all ... a few times ... before she began speaking her mind. "If he's been watching me for a while ... by default he should be older. And ... I don't know if you can sense it for another reason. I will give benefit that whatever he is speaking of hasn't .... awoken. But also ... you did admit to fighting against the change. I don't know if all your senses are awake, as it were. So you can't tell what he's referring to for that reason I'm guessing also." She couldn't help but shiver as she got reminded of those words from him.

"You might not know it now, but I will make you mine sooner than you realize."

There were few ways he could be referring to ... and none were appealing to Trinity at all. Her own sigh left as she stayed silent for a bit longer. Finally, though, she gave Dante a nod. "Y-yes ... I ... think we need to try the library. But ... we don't really know what we're looking for. I know what potential means.... but not what he meant when he said it. So .... I'm not certain what to look for exactly. But ... we probably should try for something." She shivered as her body pressed closer against Dante's.

Had it only been from the encounter? All she knew was ... she was beginning to feel weary all of a sudden. A low yawn left as she stayed relaxing against him for now. Her head quickly shook no in agreement. "I wouldn't want to be near him anyways." She added lowly. He had way too much of a creepy vibe around him; from knowing both herself and Dante to having watched her so long. And all for a reason she didn't yet know. That .... really was abnormal.

Dante found himself thinking about what Trinity had said to him. He had to admit that she did make quite a few valid points in what she had said. I wish I knew what he wants with Trinity. Just how long has he been watching her anyway? He thought to himself a second or so later. He waited until Trinity had finished talking before he responded to what she had said. ”What you say does make sense actually.” He started off. ”I don’t know how old that vampire is going to be, but it would make sense that he would be considerably older than me. What I don’t know is how long he has been watching you. After all, it’s difficult to figure that out when all he says is that he’s been watching you for quite some time, but I agree that whatever he might be speaking of hasn’t yet awoken inside of you. It would just be good if we knew what it was he was talking about.” He paused for a moment and brushed a few strands of his hair out of his eyes. ”The fact I fought against the change could have something to do with the fact I’m unable to tell what he is referring to. If that’s the case, then I can only hope that my senses that have yet to awaken hurry up and do just that.” Dante knew that he had fought the change when he had been turned, but what he didn’t know was just how long it was going to take for the rest of his senses to awaken. Of course, he was hoping that it wouldn’t take them too long. He was hoping so anyway.

Just like Trinity, Dante also didn’t really want to think about what the vampire had said about making Trinity his. He was only able to imagine some of the ways in which the vampire could have been referring to, and he didn’t really think he liked any of them. Dante was snapped from his thoughts as Trinity seemed to agree that trying the library would be a good idea. He looked back to her with a small smile on his face. ”I don’t really know what we would be looking for either, but I think it’s really all we can do for the time being.” He stopped to think for a few moments, and as he did, he lightly tapped his chin with his finger a few times. ”Hmm, well we could always look at some of the books that are based solely on vampires. After all, it was a vampire that said you had this potential.” Dante nodded his head a second or so later. ”Maybe one of these books will be able to tell us what a vampire could mean when they say a human could have potential.” He shrugged his shoulders a little bit as he thought it over some more. ”Look, I know it’s a long shot, I really do, but I’m not sure if we’ve got any other choice. It beats the alternative of waiting for that vampire to come back and have him explain it to us. Personally, I would be happy if I never see him again, as I’m sure you would be too.” He sighed softly to himself as he pulled Trinity closer to him once more.

There was a part of Dante that did feel relieved when Trinity told him she wouldn’t want to be near the other vampire. ”There was just something really weird about him. I just can’t put my finger on what that was. Maybe it was just his overall character, but he seemed a bit off for some reason.” He rested his head back against the head rest of the couch for a few seconds, and he looked up towards the ceiling and closed his eyes momentarily. Dante opened his eyes shortly afterwards before turning his attention back towards Trinity again. ”Would you like to just sit down here for a while? Or should we head on over to the library? Either way, I don’t really mind, because we’ve still got the rest of the day to go to the library. We can sit here for a little bit longer if you would prefer to though.”
