Xavier quickly said, "I'm heading to the car. If you need anything." He did _not_ want to discuss periods with a genderswitched former assassin and a former military woman. He dreaded having to discuss such things with Monica. Just like he dreaded the idea of Monica becoming a teenager. Not only would it be a rebellious phase, but the only truly mentally sound person she knew was Alice, a woman who casually talked to him while he was getting smacked by NMCs. That did not paint a pretty picture for good influences. Oh, he tried to be, but he was a fighter. And the people he knew mostly fighters. So while she could and would take care of herself, he was not sure what she'd do during that phase.

(Backstory Complete)

As Allen began to wake, Xavier hoped that he was going to be okay. They'd need everyone to cover as much of the sewers as they could. After the sewers, the team could look into the lead he'd found.

He sat up quickly, but his face was cold and sad, as if he had come to a dark realization. Despite it, he thanked the nurse, and got off the bed.

"Yeah, I'm fine" He lied.(Bluff 18) He knew now, deep in his heart, he'd have to kill Luna. at this point, she would be too far gone.

(Sense motive 23) Volke stood nearby on her own by now. She walked over to Allen and nodded, saying only, "Don't die," before walking over toward the nearest exit. The team knew by know that it was how she claimed friendship. After all, assassins don't tell people they care little about to not die... ever. Especially since they might have to kill that person sometime. Telling someone to not die was practically saying "You're my friend, and I'd die for you."

Xavier gave him a searching look, letting him know that he didn't buy it, but he'd let it slide for now. (Sense Motive 19) "Alright then. You guys ready to go?"

(Sense motive.... 5)

Allison nodded to Xavier's question. "All set sir." She took Allen at his word again, not seeing a reason to doubt him after their confrontation.

It hurt him on the inside, it did, but he would have to. For those he loved, who had his back even now. He would save them even if it costed him his life, or to fall once more into madness. Allison, Volke, Xavier, Monica.... He would make sure they would be safe. "And you, slowpoke?"

"Alright then." Xavier said, and led them out of the hospital. He got into the driver's seat of the van, and started relaying what info he knew. "Let's start with entrances. The closest legal one is a 2 hour drive with traffic the way it is. Or we can take a not so legal one in a condemned building about twenty minutes from here. The building was condemned not because of structural instability, but because it's the starting point of the New York Blockade, where Melissa Pearce became Eve while performing opera live."

Volke immediately asked about the potental for NMCs in the building itself. She had actually not been around for the New York Blockade, but... this is where it started. The suffering, the fear, the pain, the anger, the sorrow.... This was something she had to see.

"I'm not above breaking the law if we can get in there and do our job sooner." Allison stated. She did not relish the thought of spending two hours stuck in traffic if there was a job to do.

"agreed," He said simply. It was almost as if his personality had changed as he steeled himself for the coming fights ahead

Xavier nods. "Then Carnegie Hall it is. I don't know if there will be NMCs, but you should probably expect them. There's a hole in the piano practice room backstage that leads into the sewers." Xavier only knew about it from Aya, the time they had sat down and shared experiences from the New York Blockade. It had happened after they had met in MIST for the first time, and realized they were working in the same division. They had called each other off and on before that. He was probably Aya's closest friend.

"Now, I think when it gets narrower in the sewers, we walk in twos, either all together or separate. Now, we would cover more ground if we separate, but I'm the only one with a constantly visible map and an outside connection. If you have any preferences for pairs, let me know." Xavier says.

"I have no preference.." He said somewhat coldly, though it was more focused than anything.

"Alright then." Xavier says as he gets out of the van. "We'll just see what happens when we get inside." As he steps over the condemned line of tape to enter Carnegie Hall.

He nodded and set his gun to three round burst, and prepared to enter. (move silently 24, listen 30) He started thinking about who it would be better to go with.

Volke stops just inside the tape, puts down her haversack, pulls out the parts and assembles her Dragunov. She had thrown on her Eraser Blacks on the way here, so she holstered the Rifle on her back. Volke's Katana was on the left side of her waist, and the Hades on her right hip. She was looking armed and dangerous... like a red-eyed death, cloaked in an almost infinitely deep black. Her eyes sharpened, her assassin instincts coming back to her... (Move Silently 26, Hide 28, Listen 17, Spot 25)

Allison readied her shotgun as she stepped into the condemned Carnegie Hall. She shivered slightly as the air seemed... wrong. The shadows dimmer. This place felt strange to her. She looked around for anything out of the ordinary.

(Spot 14)

In truth, he wanted to be with Allison, but he figured she wouldn't want to be with him alone after earlier, so he didn't say anything.
