Norah nodded at Chadwick, wondering the same thing about the letter--why would such a thing follow her not only to the castle, but into the Room of Requirement, of all places. She hoped it wasn't some weird trick or worse, something dangerous. So, she was all for have Chadwick go with her, plus, with him as the most significant part of her life now, she wanted him a part of all things anyway.
Reluctantly, Norah stepped out of the steamy warm waters of the hot tub and toweled off. She handed Chadwick a towel as well for when he stepped out to join her. Wrapping the lush towel about her body, she padded over to the bed and sat down, hesitantly picking up the piece of parchment that had her name scrawled all over it.

Norah bit down on her lower lip as her eyebrows furrowed. She looked over at Chadwick, her hands shaking as she held the parchment between her fingers. "Now or never," she said. So, taking in a sharp breath, she opened her letter and began to read it out loud.

Norah dropped the parchment and looked over at Chadwick. Her face went deathly pale and her mouth went dry. "I... I..." she stammered. "I..." Her eyes suddenly watered. "Chadwick, I..." At that, she dropped the letter and just moved over to him, needing him to hold as she tried to process what it was she'd just read.
