"What a jackass."
Ashley didn't conceal her contempt for the mentality of Dorian and his two underclassmen. She didn't really know if what was going on was just happening or if it were planned, but she was not going to hide her feelings. The Sixth Year was an arrogant one, and he was being rude to Riku to boot. She now didn't care if anyone knew how much she liked the other Ravenclaw young woman. She shot looks at each of the two Fourth Year Slytherins, actually hoping that they did something stupid.
As Samuel was then there with Alice, whom she looked at and nodded to, Ashley was then worried about how Renee felt about what they said. Nicko taking up for her, as well as for the rest of them as well, made her feel good about Slytherins at the same time, and she wondered if she heard Katy right as to what she said. It made her really like them both, as they were so totally different than the two Creeps.
"While I would like as many friends and acquaintances that I can get, gentlemen, the fact is that I don't have any interest in what you are meaning. I don't see the benefits that you are implying from any association with individuals subscribing to antiquated and narrow-minded concepts."
Renee's words were very direct, then looking to her friends. Her smile was to reasure Alice, Ashley, Riku, and even Katy and Nicko. They all made her smile, and she appreciated everything they said and already did for her. Her look returned to the Fourth Years, and she waited and in part hoped they got themselves thrown out.
"Perhaps we were mistaken at the idea that you were wanting to speak to us or to discuss such things with us."
The two were visibly in pain from how Holly Johnson had their ears, and it was an apology that was carefully worded. They were willing to let it drop for now, but their eyes made it clear that this was not over.
