Lund swallows softly as he hears Angus voice. He steps towards Angus holding out his hand. "Angus its me Lund. Dont you recognize me." He throws his hood book running his fingers through his hair as he studies the mans face. "I heard Kiana just gave birth to a daughter. I didnt even know she was pregnant."

Angus's eyes narrowed as she looked into Lund's eyes, looking past the gruff look and that messy beard, looking into his eyes. A moment later, his own eyes widened in shock, "Dear Gods... it is you. The man it Lund!" The other men were suddenly standing at strict attention and saluting him while Angus was much more informal and took Lund into his grasp for a rather manly hug and firm patting on the back, "Dear Gods man where the hell have you been!?"

Lund stands there patiently as Angus studies him. He laughs softly as he is recognized returning the hug with Angus patting him on the back. "I drifted down river after I fell off the cliff. I hit my head as I floated couldnt remember anything till just a few hours back. I stayed the winter on a farm working for my room and food." He nods to the men softly. "Is Kiana..." He swallows looking up at the manor.

Angus could see his friend's concern and patted him on the back, "You wife is fine. As is your child. She is a health, cheerful babe. Come, come inside. You need to be cleaned up a bit and your father needs to be told about this before something terrible happens and Jak gets his way. Come!" He puts his hand around Lund's shoulders and pulls him inside.

Lund smiles as he follows Angus inside the manor laughing softly. "I ran into the midwife on the way here. She was explaining everything to me. When I heard Kiana's name everything just came rushing back to me." He follows Angus through the manor. "I heard my brother survived the fall as well but I really want to see Kiana Angus."

"I just came from seeing her and she sleeps. I suggest we let he do such for awhile longer still. You babe while health has health lungs and demands much attention. Kiana has refused the use of a milk nurse and every few hours has been up to tend to the child. Let her sleep just a little while. You can refresh yourself in the mean time, you look a mess."

But it was awhile still before he got even the chance to do that. The moment he stepped before his family, his mother burst into tears and threw her arms around him in joy. His father seemed to have a weight suddenly lifted off his back as he pat him on the back much like Angus did.

It was an hour later before he even had the chance to think about seeing Kiana again, but still Angus insisted he freshen himself up a bit, "Trim that beard... you look like a great big bear or something."

Lund laughs softly at hearing how healthy the baby is. "Kiana wanted a baby girl. I hope this baby doesnt wear her out to much."

He smiles at seeing his family wrapping his arms around his mother hugging her close laughing softly. He turns hugging his father and sister as well. "Im sorry to have worried you. I hit my head after the fall and lost my memories. Spent the winter on a farm earning my way."

After seeing his family he walks with Angus to an empty room taking a hot bath then trimming his beard. He trims it back to a simple goatee rubbing his bare chin now. "A bear huh?" He laughs softly as he dresses in a set of neat clothing. "Im ready to see her now Angus."

"Very well, but let me go in first. We don't want her dropping your babe in shock of seeing you rise out of the grave." Angus leads him to the door to the room, slowly opening it and peeking his head in a moment before peeking it back out again, "Good news, she still sleeps as does the babe. If she is anything like the clockwork she had been though, she should be waking for a meal any time now. I will leave you be." Angus departed and left Lund to await his wife's reaction upon waking.

Kiana lay in bed, looking worn thin even in her sleep as she lay hugging his pillow. The baby lay sleeping in a small cradle placed at the foot of the bed, seemingly in as deep a sleep as her mother.

Lund follows Angus to the rooms swallowing as he gives his friend a moment to peek in. He nods softly as he pats Angus shoulder. "Alright thank you friend. Ill catch up with you and Nessa later." He slips into the room his breath catching as he sees Kiana holding his pillow tight. He lets her sleep for a moment as he moves to the cradle leaning over to move the blanket slightly studying the baby. He smiles warmly touching the babies back gently. His voice is low as he talks. "She takes after you Kiana. Beautiful like her mother."

Kiana seems so deep in her sleep that even his talking could not stir her. It did stir the babe however who stirred under his light touch, her little face twisting a moment before her little eyes peeked over. Looking up at him, she seemed to recognize Lund for just a moment before realizing she had not seen him before and her little face welled up with tears and she started to softly cry. The babe's gently tears however were enough to stir Kiana, who rolled to the side and groaned a little bit. "Mommy's coming, don't cry now.... she's coming," she did not even realize that Lund was there in the room with them.

Lund blinks slightly as the baby stirs. A slow smile spreads across his face as he sees the baby open her eyes. He tries to shush her as she starts to cry softly. His hands gently pick up the baby cradling her close rocking her gently. "Shhh its ok little one. Ive got you." He glances towards Kiana hearing her speak and start to get up.

Kiana's feet were just touching the floor when she heard his voice from the foot of the bed. She frozen a moment, knowing his voice at once. Afraid to look to see it would only just be a trick of her mind, she did not turn until she heard the babe's crying soften for instead of tears, a soft cooing noise she had already gotten to know as the baby's happy noise. Only then did she slowly turn to see if she had heard correctly.

Seeing Lund there, holding the babe in his arms, gently rocking her tears away, Kiana could not believe it. It was an image she had seen in her own head so many times since he had gone missing that she didn't know if she could even trust it now. Remaining there, sitting upon the edge of the bed, she was frozen in shock. It took a moment, but her eyes soon filled with tears, clouding her vision of him, "Is.... is it really you?"

Lund smiles to himself softly as he hears the baby starting to coo softly. He glances towards Kiana seeing her pause with her feet just barely on the ground. With the baby still held gently but firmly in his hands he moves to sit down next to her. His face is lit up with a smile as he watches her. "Its really me Kiana. Im back and Im here to stay love."

He leans over kissing her on the cheek softly as one arm wraps around her waist holding their daughter close with the other arm. "She is beautiful just like you love." He laughs softly as he takes her hand kissing it softly. "When I fell I drifted down river and hit my head. Blanked my mind out for awhile, but Im back now."

Kiana is still frozen in disbelief, even as the mattress shifts from his weight upon the bed. Ever as his hand wraps around her, but the moment he kissed her hand, she lost it. She pressed her face into his shoulder and started crying rather forcefully against his clothing. She says no words, only weeping openly. The babe, looked up at her mother with a hint of confusion before she started to tear up a bit as well. If mommy was crying, perhaps she should be too.

Lund smiles at her softly as she seems to be frozen unsure of what to say. He wraps his arm around her waist holding on to her as she cries into his shoulder. "Im sorry I worried you so much love." He turns to the baby rocking her softly as they both begin to weep together. He makes gentle shushing noises as he leads Kiana cry knowing she needs this more then anything he can say right now. "Just let it out love."

She sniffles a little as she pulls back and runs her fingers over her eyes to wipe her tears away, "Not now. Not in front of her. I've already done and upset her..." Kiana reaches out to take the babe from Lund's arms and move her into her own. As she opened the front of her dress, the babe instantly start to reach out in search of her mother's milk. It was only a second after she touched her breast to the babe's mouth then she latched on and started to suckle happily. "At least she is easy to calm when she cries..." Kiana's attention turned to him again, "I still can't believe it. You're here... alive... I feel like this will just turn out to be some cruel dream, raising my hopes only to let me down again when I wake."

Lund smiles as he lets her take the babe watching her with the baby. "I was trying to spend time with her while you slept. Angus told me how much she has been demanding of you." He smiles as he leans in cupping her face in his hands. "Its really me love. You arent dreaming and Im back to stay." He presses his lips to hers softly as his fingers caress her cheek softly. "I didnt remember anything till a midwife mentioned your name love." He smiles looking into her eyes.

Kiana rubbed her cheek against his hand, her tears slipping a moment back down her cheeks again, that babe to distracted to notice or care about crying along with her mother. If there were any doubts left in her mind, they flew away with the kiss of his lips. "I was so afraid. I was starting to believe everyone else. I started to think that you were never coming back. I started to think you dead. I didn't think you'd ever get to see the life we brought into the world together and that she would never get to know her father and..." she was getting choked up with her tears once again.

((I need to be turning in for the night. Leaving to my trip tomorrow. I'll maybe try and post before heading out in the morning. If not, see you in a week and a half.))

Lund smiles as he strokes her cheek wiping away the tears that are running down her cheeks. "Its alright Kiana. Im back and were going to raise this girl and all of her siblings I plan on creating with you." He smiles as he kisses her softly once more. His hand dips to the babies head rubbing softly as he watches her. "You should have seen me before I got cleaned up. My beard was alot worse."

She smiles softly at him, even through her tears before her attention lowered to the babe again. "In the moment I realized you had gone over the edge, I was so mad at myself. I had a feeling she was on the way but I didn't tell you, not wanting to get your hopes up. When I thought you might have... might had died without even knowing about her." She had to take a moment to stop herself from bursting into tears again before she sighed and gently rocked the baby that had for the moment stopped suckling to have a break in the middle of her meal, "I haven't named her yet... something in me was just, unable to pick a name. I felt odd thinking of names without you that, it was keeping me from doing it."

Lund smiles softly as he touches her cheek gently. His fingers brushing across her lips softly. "I missed you so much Kiana." He presses his lips to hers for a moment before leaning down to kiss their daughters forehead. "Well we must remedy this no name situation love." He taps his chin as he slips his hand down to hold one of her hands for a moment. "What do you think of Sarah? Its a strong name."

His lips felt so amazing against hers. It stirred long buried passions within her that had lay dormant for so long. She whimpered slightly though, knowing there would be a wait before they could act upon such passions with her body still recovering from the babe's birth. "Careful kissing me like that..." she warned him a moment before she turned her attention back to the babe in her arms, smiling down at the little face, "Sarah it will be." She adjusted the babe so she was looking up at Lund beside them, "Little one... this is your father. He's back now and you will be getting to know him after all." The babe just seemed to looked up at Lund, her little just just slightly open.

Lund smiles at her warning giving her a soft wink. His head turns glancing down at the baby touching it's cheek lightly with his fingers. "She's beautiful just like you kiana." He smiles as he runs his fingers through her hair slowly smiling. "I was afraid you wouldn't believe It was really me when I entered the room. I'll have to thank Angus and nessa for looking after you in my absence." He leans in giving her another soft kiss on the lips.

"I knew it..." she whispered to him. "I always knew and felt in my heart you were not dead. Even when I spoke of it to other, I never really felt like I believed them or myself." She rested her head upon his shoulder and yawned a lightly, "There was just something in me that felt like I would KNOW in my heart if you were no longer alive and I just felt like you would come back to me again. I'm so very happy I was right." She pulled back and started to hand the babe over into his arms, "Hold her... she needs to learn our voice and touch..."

He smiles warmly at her as he listens quietly to her. "I'm sorry to have put you through so much love. There is something I've been curious about. What happened the day my brother kidnapped you?" He touches her cheek softly before taking little Sarah smiling at her tenderly. He cradles her close studying her features seeing himself and kiana in the babies face.
