Lily pulls her hand from his, shaking her head, "NO Jas," she said firmly, feeling how he was once again just trying to push her into doing something that she did not want to but he wanted. It was always what he wanted. "We can't be married. We had the chance and you let it go. All you had to do was listen to me and you NEVER do. If you just listened we would have been married, but no, no you don't listen you just want to do whatever you want. What about what I want Jas? Why do you never ask me what I want or listen to what I have to say?"

Jas looks at her stunned for a few moments as she pulls her hand back. "How have I never listened to you lily? Ive done everything for you. You said yourself that you wished to marry me." He takes a step back from her shaking his own head now. "Your making a mistake by marrying him. Is it because hes a noble. I know your heart still loves me I can see it when I look into your eyes." He drops his hands into his cloak watching her quietly as he begins pacing just in front of her.

She felt her heart breaking, her head shaking, "I told you no the night I slept with you... and you kept on pushing me. You pushed me into doing something I didn't want to do and it ruined things. That was the first time. I did not wish for you to spend the night and you pushed me to letting you stay and once again things were ruined." She felt herself getting more frustrated then upset with him. "I don't choose to marry because he is noble. I choose to because he is a good man."

He clenches his hands together as he takes a few deep breathes as he watches her studying her face. "I apologized for the night we slept together. As for the night I spent in your room holding you it was an accident. I didnt realize how tired I was and I wanted to spend the night holding the woman I loved not seperated from her. Is that something to terrible to ask for Lily?" He takes a step towards her reaching out for her hand. "I love you Lily and I will fight for you if I must."

"You apologized and yet here you are... still trying to push me into doing what YOU want me to do." She shivered and shook her head, "Like my father pushes me all the time. Do you know what Gaisse did? He asked me and if I denied him, he would have walked away, not kept on pushing and pushing until I caved into him." Saying on these things outloud only made her realize how she really did feel about it. "There is nothing left her to fight for Jas. I will marry Gaisse and that is final. For once I am making the choice for myself that I want." She turned and started to walk away from him, sick of this topic of conversation.

Jas rushes forward to block her path holding up his hands quickly. "How am I pushing you when Im asking you to take me back. You could have denied me this meeting or even the first I asked for, but I found you talking with him." He sighs softly as he rubs his chin taking a breath to calm himself slowly. "Lily Im not trying to push you. Im asking you to take me back in the name of our love that we share."

Lily could still feel some of that love inside her heart but there was just something different now. It was not like before. She shook her head, "And I say again, you are too late Jas. I have made a promise to wed Gaisse and I will keep it. Things for my family are ruined enough as it. I will not add going back on my word to it as well. I love you Jas, but things are not the same anymore. Things have changed and I ask you to respect that. Respect my choice and my family. I allowed this meeting because I knew if I did not you would have put yourself in danger and do something drastic until I agreed to it. Pushing, always pushing."

Jas steps towards her taking her hand softly as he twines their fingers together. 'I only push because I love you Lily. Would a man who lied about loving you come back and profess his love and beg you to marry him? I will grovel on the ground like the lowest peasant if I must to win your hand back. " He leans in kissing her lips lightly. "I love you Lily.

Now he was toying with her fragile heart once more. Was he really meaning it? Did he push her because he loved her? Or did he push her because he wanted her bad enough that he would tempt her with her want to be loved. His kiss was making her want to change her mind once again. He almost had her but she pushed away and started to leave once again, "No Jas. This is over between us. I am to be married and that is FINAL. Don't make me go back on my word to Gaisse! He does not deserve that." In fact, he still deserved so much more then her and this very conversation was proof enough of that.

Jas smiles at the touch of their lips blinking in surprise as she pushes him away. He stands there stunned for a few moments as she begins to leave once more. Clearing his throat he begins to rush after her once more. "Will you have a meal with me out here under the stars tomorrow night? Just a simple meal between two people who love each other?" He swallows as he walks beside her slipping his hands into his coat once more looking towards the entrance knowing a guard patrols past every so often.

She turned on him. Was he even listening to her any longer? It was upsetting her that he just seemed to ignore the things she was saying only because it was not the answer he wanted to accept or hear, "No! Jas have you heard nothing I have said? This is over between us. I will tell you again, I am to be married. I refuse to be adulterous to a good man. No moonlight meals, no more meetings at all. Stop making this so hard."

He shrugs as he moves to stand in front of her slowly. "How is asking you to dine with me being adulterous. It is a simple reque...." Pausing slowly he pushes the hood of his cloak back as he studies her face putting his hand up to stop her. "Look me in the eye and tell me that you dont love me Lily. If you can say it and make me believe it then Ill leave you alone. In fact I will even turn myself into your father and confess what I did to you."

She groaned, "And now you try and make me feel guilty. Damn it Jas, that's not what I want. If I wanted your head rolling on the ground by my father's hand, I would have told him weeks ago who you were and what had happened between us. Fine, I can't deny that I don't love you," she sighed and looked him right in the eyes and the truth behind all she had just said and all she was about the to say clear there, "but I don't want to anymore. It makes what I have to do now only so very difficult but it's what I really want Jas. I want you to leave here. Move on from me and be happy. Our chance has come and gone. There is no more chances I can give us."

Jas smiles at her first words feeling as if he might have gained something. His head tilts to look down into her eyes as she begins to speak again the smile slowly slipping away from him. Swallowing heavily as he lifts his hand to touch her cheek tenderly. "If I truly thought there was no chance for us I wouldnt have come back. Your brother ran away from an arranged marriage to get happiness. We could follow his example." He strokes her cheek softly as he stares into her eyes.

She reached up and removed his hand from her cheek, shaking her head, "We had the chance Jas. HAD it. That chance is passed now and we can't go back to the way we were before. Please just accept that." Turning from him, she could not take this game any longer. She was tired physically and emotionally and could not deal with Jas and his confusing ways any longer tonight.

"I...I cant simply just let this go Lily. I have to keep trying and doing whatever I must to prove that I love you. And I wish to make up for my mistake of leaving you." He slips his hand into his cloak shifting around slightly. "I picked up something for you on my way back. I know its nothing like what the nobleman can give you, but I hope you will like it." He pulls out a small golden ring holding it up to her slowly letting the moonlight hit it fully.

Lily felt her heartache. Damn him. Why could he not just simply walk away and let things be? Why could he not just move on? He had to be so damn persistent. "No Jas. Why are we running in circles here. You are making this harder then it has to be. You had you chance, mistake or not you lost it. The only second chance I can give you now is to give you the chance to move on." She reached out and took his hand, closing it around the ring, "Do you even know if you really love me? We have never spoken about common interests. It's been nothing but physical attraction. That is not a way to base are relationship. Take this ring. Keep it. Give it to someone you know with ever ounce of your being that they are more then just your love. Know they are your soul mate."

Jas swallows softly as he watches her hesitating once more. "I..Weve never had a chance to sit and talk Lily. And I know I love you Lily nothing else matters to me, but you." He squeezes the ring into his hand as he slips it back into his cloak shaking his head. His mind races as he tries to think of something else to say to her. Pulling his cloak tighter around him he glances towards the entrance making sure the path is still clear.

Lily smiles, thinking he has finally understood. She half expected him to try and force the ring upon her still, but his willingness to take it back showed at least that he was willing to really thinking about the situation. "Never had the chance or had it but never took it? So many times we could have spoken but didn't. Resolved ourselves to just be kissing and touching." She felt a tingle inside of her of those memories. They were good memories. Seeing him glance to the path, she glances as well. Their was an opening and it had to be taken, "Stay safe Jas..." she tells him before turning and going once more.

A soft smile plays across his lips at the memories of their kissing and touching. His head moves to face her as she tells him to stay safe. Swallowing quickly he moves to wrap his arms around her waist pulling her into his cloak pressing his lips to hers lovingly. Her anger be damned he wasnt going to lose the woman he loved without a fight. His hands stay on her lower back pressing her to him as he deepens the kiss further.

She of course struggles against him, indeed enraged with him over his actions. He just would not listen to reason and this was unacceptable. But as the kiss went on, she was only reminded more and more about that animalistic passion between them as she melted unwillingly into his lips.

His hands press harder against her back as he deepens the kiss even further. One of his hands begins to slide up her back caressing tenderly. Parting his lips slightly he draws her even closer to him his cloak beginning to cover both of them as his hand reaches her neck massaging her skin softly. His lips part from hers for a breif moment to catch his breath before kissing her again not letting her go.

Lily felt herself once more bending to exactly what he wanted her to do. His kiss was intoxicating and she could not think straight as he engulfed her in the flames of his passion. She could not say no to him when she was in a place like this. Though she still tried when he broke the kiss just long enough for air, telling him, "I have to go..." in that little space of time before he tangled her up in his lips once again. She was to weak to deny him.

Jas backs off the kiss slightly hearing her words before resuming wanting her to feel the passion and love between them. His fingers massage her neck once more his cloak fully covering her body now. His hand on her lower back mimics the work his fingers are doing to her neck. Keeping her body pressed to hers he starts to back them into the maze getting them away from the entrance to keep them from being spotted.

Lily half realized that he was moving them back into the maze. She knew in the back of her mind that if pulled her to far in, she would once more surrender to him when it was the last thing she wanted to do. It was the night she lost her virginity to him all over again. The memory of that night had her acting then as she planted her feet into the ground to stop from moving. "Jas no... I have to go."
