He smiles enjoying the light touch of her hand on his arm. "Its good to be arriving with you then without." He pats her hand as they walk through the halls. Almost unconsciouslly his steps start to match hers. "I certainly hope there isnt it any more wine this morning. Im afraid I dont think I could handle anymore of it right now."

She smiled slightly and laughed, "Oh don't even mention wine. I don't wish to see any more of that for a good long while. I did not even realize how many glasses I ended up drinking by the end of the evening. I don't even care to try and remember." She laughed once more, "I couldn't remember if I even tried now that I think back."

His laugh comes easily as he nods with her. "I definitely agree with you there. Although if I know my father and I do. Hes going to send at least four cases of his best wine for our wedding. Its one of our main imports from his lands." He pats her hand leading her inside as they are announced together entering.

The only ones at the table this morning were Lily's parents. The other party guests not invited to this small family meal. Her father rose out of respect for Gaisse's presence in their household. Lily moved to her chair and waited for him to come up and pull it out for her. She could not help but notice the warm smile on her mother's lips. This little picture of a perfect family felt... somewhere right. "Lund and Kiana are not joining us this morning?" she questioned.

He pauses giving Lily's father a respectful bow before moving to pull Lily's chair out for her. Waiting for her to sit and push her chair up before taking his own seat. "Good morning to both of you." He turns to Lily's mother giving another bow to her as well. Smiling he takes a glass of water sipping at it quickly. He turns watching Lily as they she ask for her brother.

Lily's mother sighs a little bit, "Your niece kept them both up and down through the night it seems. They still rest in bed and I understand their want to rest. When you were a baby you were always demanding milk. And don't even get me started on your brother's demands for my attention."

Lily was left smiling, not able to recall the last time they had a simple family conversation at the table. It was... pleasant.

Gaisse smiles softly blinking abit in surprise. "I wasnt aware your brother had a child. That sounds like youve had a pleasant fun with your niece." He begins to eat as the food is brought to them. He goes quiet once more listening to the conversation wishing to hear more about the family he is soon to join. Reaching over to Lily he gives her hand a tender squeeze during the meal.

"Oh yes, Kiana and Lund have a daughter. She is so very sweet and so tiny," Lily said, the unpleasantness of the night before seeming so far away as she conversed with him pleasantly in his moment. "Perhaps before the ride we can stop and look in on her, if they are awake that is. Sarah is just a little angel."

He smiles nodding softly. "I think that would be pleasant to do before our ride. Im afraid its been some time since Ive been near a child. How old is she?" He leans back in his seat sipping his water as he turns to face her fully. Rubbing his hands together he refills his glass thinking for a moment. He turns motioning for a second plate of food beginning to eat it quickly.

The talk of little Sarah really was pleasant for her. She loved her niece and really seeing how complete she had made her brother's family, she honestly could not wait until the day she could have baby of her own. "She's a month and a half old now. Kiana tells me she has just started to smile. I have not seen it yet but I really can't wait to catch a glimpse of it."

Leaning forward his smile deepens crinkling the side of his face. "You almost sound eager to have a child of your own Lily? A small one to hold in your own arms I think." While he is mildly teasing her his own cheeks flushes slightly as he turns his head coughing softly. Before turning back he begins drinking from his water draining it quickly.

Lily had been sipping at her water and ended up choking a moment on it and coughing in the aftermath of the shock from that statement. She was still young and had not even begun to think of children of her own. She was still getting use to being an aunt to little Sarah let alone a mother to a child of her own. "I would like children, of course. It's a motherly instinct but...." she wondered a moment if she really DID want a baby. She could see for a moment in her mind a lovely family scene with children in a field while she looked on with Gaisse. It was easy to see really. It was not that easy to picture the same scene with Jas in the image in place of Gaisse though. The sudden thought's alarmed her a little and she paled.

Gaisse smiles almost laughing at the moment she begins coughing. He turns making sure is alright patting her back gently. "Are you alright darling? I didnt mean to make you choke." Keeping his hand on her back he makes sure she is quite alright before removing it. "Ill have to make sure I dont make a jest while you are drinking in the future." He tilts his head watching her go alittle pale not knowing where her thoughts have taken her. "Lily?"

Her head perked up hearing him say her name, "Hmm, oh... forgive me I was just... I suppose I just need a little something to eat to help wake me up. I'm slightly lightheaded this morning." Reaching out she filled up her plate and picked at it, even though she really had no appetite all of a sudden, she had lied and said that was her reason and so now she had to make it believable.

He nods quietly keeping his eyes on her his concern easy to see within the depths. "Alright as long as you are ok." He smiles as he begin eating again taking her word at face value not bothering to question further. Turning to lily's mother he smiles softly. "I was wondering when the ceremony was to be. My father wants me to send word when a date has been settled on." His voice is soft but firm as he speaks and always respectful as he continues to smile.

"We were thinking three weeks time," Lilt's father spoke up, even though the question was pointed towards his wife. "If your family wished to attend that would be enough time to send the date to them and let them arrive. If you know they have no desire to attend the wedding themselves, we can half the ceremony prepared within the week it you would rather that."

"I know my father wishes to send gifts. I'll send word of a date and see what he decided. I'm afraid I can't be more specific then that." His head drops slightly feeling shame for not being able to answer better. After the first two failed arrangements his father had grown distant from him. He takes up his glass emptying the glass as he tried to keep his feelings hidden even knowing lily might sense them.

Lily could sense a bit of his sadness over his father. She didn't know how, but she could tell that the message would go out and only return with gifts but not with his own father. The one gift she was sure Gaisse wanted. With a smile, she reached over and took his hand, holding it with supportive. "Three weeks it is then."

Gaisse swallows heavily as he refill his glass. Turning towards Lily as she takes his hand suppoetively. Smiling as he turns looking into her eyes. "Three weeks will be fine then." He squeezes Lilys hand nodding to her thankfully. "I'm sure that's enough time for my father to make a decision." He leans back finishing the plate of food.

"And enough time for the plans to be made of course," her mother added. "I did not get the chance to throw my Lund a big proper wedding so I will not be robbed of this chance. I want to give ONE of my children a real wedding." She sipped at her drink. Kiana felt pleased by that and yet guilty at the same time. Kiana had wanted a big wedding she was sure but everything worked against that happening for them. Thinking them of them made her remember what they had planned to do. "Shall we go see if the baby is up and accepting visitors Gaisse?"

Gaisse smiles softly as he listens to Lily's mother talk about and hinting at the wedding she wishes to plan for them. He clear his throat as he stands nodding to Lily. "Of course. I would love to meet this niece of yours." He moves to offer his arm to Lily after drawing her chair back for her. Once they are clear of the hall he stops them for a moment. "Im sorry if I embaressed you darling. That was not mu intent."

She smiled slightly, "It's not you. It was more my mother. All her talks of her wanting a wedding and such. I would be happy with just something small and simple but she just wants big, fancy party she didn't get to have to Lund." Leading him towards the direction of Lund and Kiana's room, she hoped they would not be intruding upon the pair. "I wonder if they are awake or not. If the baby let them get any sleep at all."

Gaisse nods softly as he pats her hand softly. "I see. Well I think in the interest of peace that we should give your mother what she wants. Id hate to start our marriage off on the wrong foot." He smiles keeping himself close to her touching the top of her hand softly as she leads the way to her brothers room. "I certainly hadnt thought of them not getting any sleep. Are you sure it will be alright for us to stop by?"

As they got closer to door, she was about to answer when the sounds of a crying baby crossed her ears. A smile went over her lips, "I have a feeling that they are awake..." she commented as they came to the door and she knocked lightly, giving them a moment to make themselves decent before opening it and just bursting in.

A soft laugh escapes him at the sound of the crying comes from the room. "I guess not then." He gives Lily's hand a soft squeeze after she knocks on the door. "So what did you have in mind for our afternoon ride. I was hoping you might know of a few trails in the area for us to ride on." He squeezes her hand again.

-----
Lund glances up as Sarah begins crying shaking his head softly. "I think our daughter is at it once again love." He stands up slowly wishing to pick his daughter up , but turns hearing the knock on the door. "Are you expecting anyone this morning Kiana?"
