Gaisse smiles letting out a gentle laugh as he moves to stand behind her. His hands gently take her hips squeezing softly as he lifts her up into the saddle with ease. "Just let your body rest naturally." He is quick to let his hands retreat from her hips glancing back towards the stable and castle. He clears his throat patting the mares neck. He winks at her softly as he moves to slip into his own saddle with practiced ease. "Are you ready to go?"

----
Lund laughs softly as he watches Kiana move to the cradle. "Love come seat with me for abit." He rubs his chin softly as he lets his eyes move over her softly. "I wish for you to check my wounds and make sure I havent torn anything open." He smiles at her mischievously as he pats the bed again.

Lily settles herself in side saddle style as she picks up the reigns, making a moment to pat down the mare from her positions seated upon her back now. She liked to keep re-establishing this bond with her horse to make it a strong one between them. She nodded in his direction, "I believe I am as ready as I can be. Thank you. Shall we now?"

-----
Kiana's face instantly goes to concern from his request. "Do you feel pain? Do you think that you've reopened something?" She forgets about the rest of her meal and rushes to his side, putting her hand upon his forehead first to test for heat, "You don't feel warm. Lay on your side. I will check the ones ones there first..."

Gaisse holds his stallion still as it paws at the ground anxious to be outside the castle grounds. "I believe not only am I ready but my stallion is ready as well." He moves his stallion closer to her as he nudges the horse towards the open gate. "Once were clear of the gate we can let them run and get abit of this energy burned off." He reaches over to touch her hand lightly.

-----
Lund smiles as he takes her hand kissing it softly. "I feel fine love." He takes his hand and lightly touches her chin pulling her head down for a quick passionate kiss as he tries to pull her closer to him. "I merely wanted my beloved wife to be near me for abit before out day must start." He smiles at her softly stroking her cheek.

The talk of letting the animals run free has Lily a bit nervous. She had never ridden long and hard on a horse before. She seemed a bit nervous as his hand touched hers and she held the reigns of her mare a tad bit tighter in her grasp. Still she smiled warmly and gave a nod, "Shall we then?"

---
Kiana laughs a moment as she lays herself in the small space beside him on the edge of the bed, "I am starting to believe you didn't call me over here to check your wound at all, did you? You sneaky, sneaky man you."

Gaisse smiles as he sits loosely in the saddle seeming to be very comfortable there. "Try relaxing alittle. Horses will pick up on your feelings and react to them." He smiles as he nods towards the gates moving along slowly. "Just let yourself get use to the gait and everything else will come easily." He glances back at her smiling softly.

-----
Lund laughs softly as he enjoys her laying next to him. His fingers caress her cheek tenderly as he looks into her eyes. "If I truly felt something was wrong with my wound I would have already rolled over to let you see it." He leans in kissing her softly enjoying the few moments they have.

She urges the mare to start moving and gasps a little as the animal lurches forward suddenly. Just one sudden movement though for the horse to catch up quickly to Gaisse's horse. Her mare clearly wanted to be as close to the stallion as the stallion wanted to be to her. It left Lily just a little jostled around before she recorded and glared a moment down at the mare. "I fear she is ready to follow your horse to the ends of the earth and any pace he so chooses not matter what I say."

---
"You are a sneaky, wicked man that just knows how to get me all worried and worked up all just so you can steal a few kisses from someone that would just as easily give them to you willingly should he just ask for one." She smirked as she spoke the last few words, wondering if he thought to take that as an invitation.

He turns in his saddle as she speaks smiling at her words. "Shes a gentle one. I made sure of that before I got her for you. I didnt want you to feel so umcomfortable." Allowing his stallion alittle room he stays close to her wanting to make sure she was doing alright. "I have to admit your family does have some rich lands around the manor." He glances up as they pass through the gates noticing an older man on the wall watching them carefully.

----
Lund laughs softly as he caresses her cheek. "I might be a wicked man, but you still love me." He looks into her eyes watching her face for a moment before leaning close whispering. "Would you give your ailing husband a kiss my love?"

She can't help but note how he was glancing upward, looking up as well and smiling at Angus a moment, giving him a polite wave before turning her full attention back to riding on the mare's back as they left the walls and the land stretched out before them, "Thank you. We have always been blessed with good fortune and good weather." She wondered for a moment what kind of dowry Gaise's family would be getting for her. Why she thought of that suddenly, she did not know. Sighing, she looked out towards the lake and pointed, "The paths that Lund and Kiana spoke of should be out that way."

---
"Mmm," Kiana finds herself moaning softly as she smiles, pressing her forehead against her husband's, closing her eyes to just savor the moment they were now sharing. "Of course I will. I would do anything for my husband. Be he ailing or not," she whispered softly as she gave him a slow, soft kiss upon his lips. Pulling back, she let her head rest upon the pillow, "Laying her reminds me out little sleep the baby gave us last night..."

Gaisse notes her smile and wave. "May I ask who that man is. I've seen him around the castle but I don't think we've meet." He turns his horse towards the direction she indicated keeping a slow and gentle pace. "I feel as though I should thank you for helping me withr your parents at breakfast. I was caught off guard by your mother's question." He looks away shame filling him adding as he remembers how close he had come to admitting how his father felt about him.

----
Lund laughs softly at her words as his finger trails along her neck tenderly. "A time like this and you think of sleep." He smiles at her leaning closer. "Thinking of sleep when the bed could be pity to so much better use." He pulls her closer kissing her softly.

She kept her eyes out ahead of her, "That is Angus. A friend of Lund's and our captain of the guard. He was a solider in the wars like my brother was. Retired now from fighting and starting a life here with us, training the guard." Thinking of the guard made her think a moment of Jas. She was quick to try and get her mind off that topic. "It was no trouble at all. Just getting use to being a wife to you. It's my duty to stand by your side and support you."

---
She yawned and nuzzled against him, seeming to be ignoring his attempts to urge her onto something more then just what they were doing, "I am a young mother... with a baby that likes to cry at night..... I think of not much else but sleep in the moments of quiet."

Gaisse nods as he keeps the horses moving turning back in the saddle slightly. "Seems like a good man to have around then." He slows his horse down slightly letting Lily come along side him. "Im afraid theres still much left to do to make our home a home for us." He frowns slightly as he reaches out for her hand stopping midway as he watches her seeing if she will move to meet him halfway. "I already feel like were connecting Lily."

-----
Lund smiles as he wraps his arms around her waist holding on to her tightly. "Perhaps a moment or two more of sleep might be nice." He squeezes her close as he begins to drift off enjoying the feel of her in his arms. "I love you Kiana."

She looked down to see his hand waiting for hers and after only a momentary pause, she reached her hand to take his, smiling warmly. "It's good to have some kind of connection. Without one, what kind of foundation can there be for a marriage?" Feeling more comfortable now upon the mare the longer they rode, she smiled, "I think I am alright with picking up the pace a tad bit if you would like..."

---
Another yawn overtook her as she prayed inside herself for the babe to please stay sleeping. This moment was simple and simply perfect as well. Let it not be ended anytime soon. "Not as much as I love you Lund," she replied with a drowsy smile upon her lips.

He nods softly as he squeezes her hand tenderly. "Alright if you think you will be able to handle it." He smiles as he nudges his stallion urging it into a light canter. Once he has his horse going alittle faster he turns back to check on her his smile still there as he makes sure she hasnt been thrown off or gotten scared. "You really are doing quite well Lily. I would never believed you didnt ride every day you could at this rate." Keeping his eyes on her he urges the stallion to go alittle faster.

-----
His fingers trail along her back as he nuzzles against her neck holding her tightly to him. He repeats her name as he drifts off seeming to surrender himself to the idea of sleep while holding his wife as close as possible to him.

Lily laughed softly. The kind of laugh that sounded light and sweet like the breeze, dancing on the air around her. "You are just making up those sweet complements now. I am certain I must look like a bouncing fool up here upon the horse." As she said that, she urged the horse to pick up her pace to match the speed of his stallion, only showing how she bounced upon on the mare's back all the more. Perhaps she was exaggerating it a bit just to seem awkward to him and prove the point she was attempting to make.

---
Kiana opened just one eye to peek out at his face, smiling softly. For someone that only moments ago had his mind upon anything but sleep, her seemed to give himself over to the idea rather quickly. Closing her eyes once again, she drifted with him into dreams.

Gaisse laughs softly as he glances back at her seeing her bounce on the horse. "You just have to go with the motion of the horse Lily. Once you have that down everything will be smoother for you." He nudges his stallion alittle faster as he pulls just a few feet ahead of her. "Perhaps a race would help you get better adjusted to riding your mare." He laughs gently as he looks back wanting to see her reaction.

----
Other things may have been on his mind but his body seems to have overridden all of that. His hands rest upon her back lightly as he holds her close. His breathing is even and light as he sleeps shifting slightly as his arms move to hold her protectively.

"A... race..." Lily seemed a little unsure of the idea as she watched him pull away. Her mare had the same sort of reaction from earlier in seeing the stallion picking up the pace. She picked up the pace as well, trying to catch up to him. Lily started to wonder if the horse was attracted to the stallion or if she was just trying to prove she was just as good a horse as him. "I believe my mare has accepted the challenge... wither I like it or not."

He let's out a soft laugh as he hears her horse pick up pace. "A race would be fun. Just to show you what your horse can do." He nudges his horse into a light gallop as they round a hill putting the castle slightly out of view. "Do try to keep up with me darling." He turns in his saddle watching her as they gallop across the open ground.

She was not that far behind him when he glanced back, her horse having picked up the pace just as his had. The more they picked up speed, it seemed the more and more comfortable she was becoming upon her horse's back, galloping across the land. Riding was something she could get use to in time. There was something a bit thrilling about the wind as it started to fly through her hair. "Where shall we race to?"

Laughing softly he takes a better hold of his stallions reins. "Perhaps a quick ride to the lake to see who is fastest." He begins pulling his horse in slowing it down till they are side by side. "Does that sound fair to you." Turning in his saddle he winks at her before digging his heels into the stallions side with a yell. And just like that the pair is off Gaisse leaning low in the saddle.

"That sounds..." she started but did not get the chance to finish agreeing to the terms of their little race before he was off. Her mare did not seem to like the idea of loosing when she suddenly realized that this was indeed a race. With a snort, the mare kicked herself into gear without waiting to Lily's permission to go, and took off after Gaisse and his stallion. Lily squeaked rather loudly as she held on tight an went for the ride of her life.

Gaisse laughs softly as he hears her squeek. The laugh is even louder as he hears the mare begin to gallop on her own. His head turns back glancing at Lily as he spurs his stallion even harder letting the reins go alittle further. "I dont think your mare likes the idea of being left behind my dear." He laughs softly as he watches her back over his shoulder smiling as he winks at her. "Dont worry now. Trust your mare my dear."

Trust her mare? Trust the the animal that did not listen and just bolted off on her own as she please? Lily kept her grip upon the reins as her animal ran across the countryside after him. At first, she had to admit, it was rather terrifying to be at the mercy of the creature. But as the wind seemed to catch a hold of her hair and she got use to the speed, Lily began to relax a little bit. Just a bit. Enough to start enjoying the ride more then being terrified of it.

Gaisse smiles as he winks at her turning back to see the mare starting to gain on him. "There you go darling. Just trust your mare and she will take care of you." He lets out a loud laugh enjoying the pace his stallion is setting for them. Leaning down even further in the saddle as he spurs his horse to push it even faster. "Youre going to have to try harder then that if you want to beat us to the lake Lily."

Now Lily's head was in the race. She was comfortable and ready to give him a real test. Holding more firmly to her reigns, she tugged on them to gain more control over her mare, for the first time really riding the horse instead of just having the horse running wild with Lily upon it's back. Lily gave a loud "Hiyah!" sound to spur the horse on even more. The animal truly seemed to feed not off it's mistress's drive and sped up to race after the stallion.

Gaisse smiles as he glances back once more letting out a hearty laugh seeing her change as she becomes more confident as the ride continues. His spurs dig deeper into his stallions sides as he turns back checking the distance smiling to himself. His head turns slightly winking at Lily. "Come on you can do it Lily. You almost have me." He laughs again shaking his head quickly.

----
Jas sits on a larger hill watching the manor house. He raises himself up in his saddle seeing two figures ride out of the home. Nudging his horse softly he cuts down a trail moving to get closer to see see the two figures. A frown spreads across his face as he notices Lily galloping happily on the mare his fingers tightening on his horses reins. Moving carefully he trails the two riders watching them quietly.
