Gaisse smiles softly as he refill the glass slowly. "I'm glad you think so Lily. Although after seeing you and the way you act I'm glad they sent me away." He sips from his wine glass leaning back against the wall. He glanced upwards once more as he takes in the stars his smile deepening. "I think with enough time we can make the manor a true home of our own."

Lund smiles as he watches her with the babe. "No your fine love. I just don't want you to make yourself sick. Your body needs rest just as much as mine." His hand strokes Sarah head watching her. "She's certainly hungry tonight love." He lays his head back on a pillow his eyes staring up at the ceiling. "How do you think lily is doing with her betrothed?"
 
After taking another sip from her cup, her eyes glance up to the sky once again with his own. "You know what... I think it could be too." She felt all the wine starting to go into her head heavily. With a sigh she started to walk once more towards the celebrations, "We need to get back. They will have noticed us being gone by now. People will talk with you being alone with me and my 'reputation.'"

Kiana's body felt like it instantly wanted to agree with him, but her lips denied it, "My body is rested all it needs. I have always been able to run on less sleep then others." Right around that time, Sarah finally let go, showing she was finished for the time being. Kiana places her on her shoulder, gently patting the babe's back. "I don't know how Lily will do. I have not had the opportunity to speak with her much in recent weeks. She was locked up in her room and I was in here with you."
 
Gaisse pushes himself off the wall feeling alittle unsteady after all of the wine. "I think its almost time.for the party to end. I've drank more then I intended to." He downs the last of his wine shaking his head after words. "Perhaps we will be able to sleep soon. I'm going to need it." He stretches himself out before offering his arm to her with a smile.

Lund smiles as she shrugs slowly. "I'm your husband Kiana. You dont have to try and hide your weakness from me." He leans in to kiss her cheek then her lips before laying back on the bed once more. "Do you think she will sleep through the rest if the night after this?"
 
"You don't have to go back to the party. I'm sure you could slip back to your room and I to mine and no one would know the difference. Could claim that was where you had slipped to all along when you are asked in the morning where we went off you." She smirked a little, that kind that was not truly a happy smirk but that kind that spoke more of melancholy then anything else, "People would believe you. No one would believe me. Well, perhaps Lund or Kiana would."

She smiled a little, not telling him it was her duty to hide that weakness, even through he knew it all the same. That didn't mean she had to go confessing it to him. "I'm sure she'll be fine for a night or two. As the date of the wedding gets closer though, I'm sure sleep will be less likely for her."
 
Gaisse pauses as he turns to look at her. "Alright then. That certainly sounds good but I don't want any harm coming to you Lily." He rubs his chin softly as he leads her inside to a cross hall. "My room is down this way. If I don't see you for breakfast then definitely for our ride after words." He takes her hand lifting it up and kissing the knuckles softly. "Sleep well my beautiful darling." He takes a few steps back bowing to her slowly.

Lund sighs softly as he closes his eyes rubbing them slowly. "You should definitely think about getting some more sleep your going to need it as well. " he runs his fingers Down her arm slowly. "You will need to speak with Lily about helping perhaps. I need to see father about helping him." He yawned shivering slowly as he Nuzzles her arm.
 
Lily could feel her heart fluttering inside her chest as he kissed her hand and bowed to her. A smile genuinely creeping over her lips before she dipped into a small curtsy. "And goodnight to you. Until breakfast my lord." She turned and walked to her room in the other direction, slipping inside and finding herself so content with this night. So much so, she totally forgot about slipping out to meet with Jas all together as she changed and went to bed.

"It's hard to rest with a little one this demanding of mother's milk and attention," she glanced down at the baby's eyes being still rather awake. With a sigh, she slipped out of the bed and started to walk around the room, rocking her gently, her body looking rather tired as she moved, "Perhaps a little movement will help her slip back to sleep and give me that chance to rest you want for me."
 
Jas waited for over an hour before growing impatient. With the partying going on inside he is able to slip in to try and get to Lilys room. He stays in the shadows moving carefully. He turns pausing as he sees lily and Gaisse bidding each other good night. His fist clenched tightly as he is filled with jealousy. He swallows it down as he slips through the shadows following after lily. He let's her go inside and waits watching to make sure a maid doesn't come out.

Lund laughs softly as he nods in agreement to her words. "She's deserving of all the attention we can shower her with." He adjust himself on the bed to watch her pace with the baby. "I was wondering something though. It just came to me. We should expect marriage offers soon for her love. Even if its years before she can marry there will be those interested in getting an early start."
 
Lily sat at her dressing table, her maid slipping in after a little while to help her ready herself for bed. Yawning, she did not realize how late it was. Eventually she bid the maid to leave her before blowing out all the candles except for one and slipping under the covers with a light smile still on her lips as she closed her eyes.

Kiana stopped right in her tracks, turning back to Lund with her jaw dropped. "Marriage offers?!" She glanced down at the baby in her arms then back to Lund once again, "She's only a baby. She's barely even out of my belly and people will already want to marry her? That's not fair to her that we choice her husband before she can even understand such a thing."
 
Jas swallows as he forces himself to wait patiently in the doorway just down and across from Lilys room. He sinks further back into the shadows as the maid slips past him not even looking at him. He gives her another few moments to get down the hall before he slips down to Lilys door knocking lightly. He keeps a constant vigil as he waits for lily to answer the door staying quiet.

"I don't mean to alarm you darling but it is a very real possibility that they will come." He runs his fingers through his hair as he watches her pace the room with Sarah. "We will have plenty of time to consider. They will be offers only at this point." He coughs softly as he reaches for his water sipping at it slowly.
 
Lily was just barely drifting to sleep when she heard the knock at her door. At first she thought it just a trick of her mind but soon after it came again. Rising from the bed, she wrapped her robe over herself and went to the one lit candle, lighting a few more on the way to the door. Once there, she asked through the barrier, "Who is it this late at night?"

"They can come all they like but MY daughter will have her own choice as to who she weds when the time is right." She smiled down at the baby as she yawned, totally oblivious to the conversation going on about her future. "I care not if he is some prince or a blacksmith, whoever makes her happy is who she will wed."
 
Jas glances at the door as he hears Lilys voice on the other side. He hesitates his mouth opening his mouth for a moment. "Lily please open the door before someone comes along." He knocks again becoming more urgent as time slowly ticks off around him. "Lily please open this door before I get caught."

Lund sighs as he begins to stand up slowly. "I understand what your saying love, but you still need to be prepared for it to happen. It's part of a nobles life which you part of now." He swallows another sip from his glass of water as he stands up fully.
 
Lily froze hearing Jas's voice come through the door. It was only then she remembered that she has left him in the woods, never going to meet him. Her heart was suddenly conflicted. She wanted to see him, but feared it at the same time. If they were caught together, what then? She had just accepted Gaisse's offer of marriage, to built a home with him. She did not want to hurt him after he had already been hurt two times before. But did she still have feelings for Jas? Well yes, but she did not know what they were anymore. Would seeing him make that clear? She cracked the door just enough to speak to him through it, "Jas you can't come in here! Not after the last time! I'm to be married now. Leave!" She started to close the door again.

"You lay back down," she ordered with a glare of warning in his direction. "I mean it. Down." She moved to lay a now drowsy Sarah back down into her cradle once again, raising a finger to her lips to tell him to hush as well before tip toeing her way back to her side of the bed.
 
Jas puts his hand on the door as if sensing her presence on the other side of the door. "Lily did you not get my note I sent you. I made a mistake and I've come back to fix it. Please let me in for a few moments at least." He puts his hand on the door pushing to keep her from shutting it all the way on him. He peers through the crack looking into her eyes.

Lund blinks having reacted to her order to sit before he even realized it. He turns to say something to her pausing as she holds up her finger to keep him quiet. He lays back on the bed pulling the blankets back for them waiting quietly for her to join him smiling softly. "I love you Kiana."
 
He was still doing it. She was telling him what she wanted from him yet still he pushed her to do something else. "Jas, please go away. We can't risk being seen or caught together again. The repercussions we risk are to great for my family and my betrothed."

She crawled into the bed beside him and kissed his cheek before whispering back, "I love you to... but if people dare to send those marriage offers, I will burn them in the fireplace..." she settled in next to him once again.
 
Jas tries and fails to suppress a flash of anger and jealousy at hearing the word betrothed. "Is that who that man I saw you in the hall with is? Lily please I just need to talk to you nothing more. I came back for you. I love you lily." He tries to touch her hand through the crack whispering her name as he looks into her eyes softly."I'm sorry I left you. I made a mistake."

Lund shakes his head quickly. "We can't just destroy the letters. Some will come with gifts and the messengers will wait for a reply. It's a hard process but I know a few ways to dodge around it. Besides I think little Sarah has a liking for Angus Jr." He laughs gently as he caresses hee cheek tenderly. "Now rest darling."
 
The touch of his hand upon hers sent a spark to her heart and it tore at her. She had to give him a chance. But was she allowing it because she wanted to or because he wanted her to and she was just bending to him all over again. "Very well. We can talk, but NOT here. The gardens in the maze. 15 minutes. Go. NOW."

Kiana smiled as she settled into the pillow beside him, "Indeed. She took to him from the start. It would be a little complicated though since people think Nessa my sister. That would make them cousins. Just what this family needs. Yet another scandal."
 
Jas smiles as he hears her name a place for them to meet. "I'll be there Lily." He blows a kiss towards her winking as he pulls his hood back over his head. "I love you lily." He turns beginning to slip through the shadows heading for the gardens in the maze. He checks his each corner before slipping around it glancing back at her door.

Lund pauses for a moment thinking it over. "I guess you do bring up a good point there. It would cause a few problems in itself." He sighs softly running his finger through his hair before laying his head on her breast closing his eyes slowly.
 
Seeing him move away from the door, she totally ignored his wink and blow of a kiss and just shut the door. At the moment all she wanted to do was close the door once again. It was not until after she had it closed all the way that she realized what she had just agreed to do. "Damn..." she cursed under her breath a moment before rushing around to get herself somewhat redressed before slipping back out of her room. What was she doing? Well she knew at least what had to be done upon meeting with Jas. She had to be strong and end things for the good of herself and her family.

She smiled as she rested her hand upon his head and started to tenderly stroke her fingers through his hair. "We could always come clean about... the whole truth..."
 
Jas smiles as he slips his way through the shadows being careful of the guards avoiding them. It takes him most of the fifteen minutes to get to the maze. He quickly moves into the garden slipping around the corners keeping a sharp ear out for any guards. It suddenly dawns on him that Lily might have sent him out here only to alert the guards. His hand drops to his sword dropping suddenly to one knee to wait barely breathing.

Lund closes his eyes enjoying the soft feel of her hands running through his hair. "You mean tell them that Nessa is your friend instead of your sister?" He turns his head slowly looking towards her. "Is that what you would want love? Im fine with letting people believe what they will."
 
Lily throws her cloak over her dress and works her way down to the garden, slipping through as many of the passages used for only the family's purposes. Arriving in the gardens about 5 minutes late, she slipped into the maze, her hood up as she sought him out, not going that far in as she was somewhat uneasy about this whole meeting let along being alone with him to far from others.

She sighed as she looked up at the ceiling. "I don't know what I want. Part of me wants to confess the truth so that things might not get awkward later on in life, but on the other side... your family already thinks little of me. To know I lied this whole while and that I was not a family member you and Angus helped but just a nobody you bought as a slave... they might think even less."
 
Jas stays tensed up the whole time he waits. Each minute she is late seems to drag on forever till he spots her. "Lily." He stands up rushing towards her quickly his hands moving to cup her cheeks softly. "I was beginning to think you wouldnt come darling." He smiles as he leans in to press his lips to hers softly as he draws her closer to him.

Lund grits his teeth softly as he turns to look at her face. "You know I dont care if they know I bought you love. All that matters is what we have now." He takes her hand kissing it softly. "Ill stand by any decision you make darling." He leans up tilting her chin down to kiss her lips softly.
 
She moves to quickly that even her hands up to block him does nothing to stop him from capturing her in his arms and with his lips. Lily is quick though to push him away urgently, "You can't kiss me Jas! It's to late for this. I'm accepted my father's choice and there is no turning back now! You can't be kissing me..." She sighed heavily and shoot her head, "I owed you this meeting but we can't carry on Jas. Not like this."

"Sleep," she said on a sigh against his lips, "I need to sleep on it." A yawn accented that statement as her eyes grew only more heavy, "We can talk more on the matter coming morning."
 
Jas blinks softly as he is pushed back by here. Jealosy burns in his eyes for a moment at her words. "Lily you cant marry him. I came back for you and I admit I made a mistake but we can still fix things between us." His hand comes up to her cheek softly caressing her cheek as he looks into her eyes. "Everything will be better between us I promise you that."

Lund nods softly as he lays his head back slowly his eyes closing as he curls up next to her. "Of course we can. We should speak to Nessa about it as well darling." He takes her hand squeezing it softly as he begins to drift off.
 
Lily shook her head, feeling a twinge of that love for him in her heart still there but her mind was made up and it was far stronger then her heart, "Jas, I have to marry him. He is a good man and I gave my word to him. I gave my word to my family. I can't go back on that now. You are two late. There is no way to fix us. It's broken and we must move on from that."

"Mmm hmmm," she said softly as she nuzzled into her pillow more, clearly not really hearing him as she drifted more into sleep.
 
Jas shakes his head rapidly as he takes her hand squeezing it softly as he looks into her eyes. "There's still something between us Lily. I still love you even if I made the mistake of running away I came back." He glances towards the castle lowering his voice slightly. "It's just a half nights ride to a village where we can be married." He lifts her hand kissing it softly as he looks into her eyes tenderly.

Lund shifts in his sleep pressing himself against Kiana his arm wrapping around her waist. His arm shifts only slightly till he is holding her protectively.
