Change The World

"As long as we got the jewel shards of our own, then he won't be able to succeed at least.' He said, suddenly deep in thought. "All the more reason to kill him sooner than later, if he chooses to even go after us..." He suddenly tightened his grip around her, the thought of Naraku attacking and going after Kagome personally suddenly made him very worried. "Argh, we just need to be faster than he is."

Feeling his grip tighten around her, she opened her eyes. Her lashes gracing against his skin. "It's a little hard when most of us; save for you, Shippo and Kirara, are human. We lose energy fast and Kirara can only fly for so long.." She mumbled, thinking to, her fingers moving in circles around his back. "We need a magic carpet."

"What the hell is a magic carpet?" he asked, looking down at her. Oh, he knew of carpets, those were the shaggy things on the floor of Kagome's room that always felt soft on his feet, but how the hell could a carpet be 'magical?'. Would It fight for them or something?

She chuckled softly and kissed his neck tenderly. "It's basically a carpet that can fly. It's from a story book and movie called Aladdin. It's a pretty good movie." He was so cute at times and a pain in the butt any other. But she didn't mind. Atleast he started to show emotions more freely around her. So he trusted her. And that meant a lot, even if he didn't realize it.

"Hm, your time era has such weird things.' He mumbled and tilted his head to the side, granting her more access to her neck, pulling her closer. The moment would have been more romantic, had Miroku not shown up, smirking a little bit.

"Inuyasha, Kagome, everyone else is up and ready," he called to his friends, "Or would you lke me to lie to Sango and shippo and grant you some more alone time?"

"Fucking monk." Growled the demon.

Kagome snickered against his neck and nipped a few times with her teeth, teasing him before she pulled away. She was rather upset that Miroku ruined the moment. But there was always other times. Besides, her half demon already mentioned about beig ahead of the game. "Be right down, Miroku." She looked at Inuyasha and grinned. "Come on, lets go eat something. Then we can get moving."

"Next time you and me are alone, we're having some fun," he said, trying to be a little more forward with a new mate. He kissed her quickly on the lips before she had a chance to react, he grabbed her and leapt from the tree, landing on his feet with a grunt. He shot Miroku a glare before he walked off, while Miroku smirked all the while. "Come on.' Inuyasha called to Miroku. "Let's get going.'

Kagome stayed silent, a deep red blush covering her face and her eyes glazed over at his forwardness. She should be used to it by now. But the thought excited her and made her blush at the same time. And the thought of the night before crossed her mind, her arousal spiking a bit. Shifting her thighs a bit, she glanced back at Miroku, glaring slightly at him as well. Hopefully it wouldn't take long to get to the hut, she needed something to get her mind off of the sensual thoughts in her mind.

All Miroku did was give an innocent little shrug, as if he had done nothing wrong. Instead, he walked back to the hut, inuyasha beginning to grab anything they needed. "Come on, I want to get a move on as soon as possible." he said to the gang, "Sooner the better."

Sango looked up at Inuyasha when he walked into the hut. Shippo was eating Pocky on Kagome's sleeping bag while Sango was preparing breakfast. "Why so soon, Inuyasha?" She watched as Kagome walked through the hut, looking a bit irritated as Inuyasha had been. Maybe they got into another fight? The school girl went over to her sleeping bag and picked up Shippo so she could lift the sleeping device off the floor and set him back down.

"Because if I don't have something to distract myself, I think I may kill the monk." he snapped again. "oh come now, Inuyasha, you're always telling us how early we should be getting back on the road, I was merely going by what you said!" The monk said with a grin as he walked back into the hut, reaching out and grabbing his staff. "How was I supposed to know you and Lady Kagome were to be...intimate when I arrived?" he grinned. INuyasha's face lit up like a light. "I hate you." He grumbled.

Kagome looked up at Miroku from rolling her sleeping bag and gave him another glare. Sango smirked and it grew until she started to chuckle a bit. Sure Miroku disturbed them at the wrong time but he was right to say that their companion wanted to be up and Adam at the break of dawn. So she couldn't blame them. Kagome looked at her, causing the demon slayer's laugh to die down. "Gomen, Kagome. I didn't mean to laugh. But leave it to Miroku to show up at inappropriate times."

"Yeah, just because he's not getting lucky any time soon doesn't mean he's allowed to ruin it for anyone else." he said as he glared at Miroku one more time. The Monk merely shrugged before he grabbed his staff. "Come on, let's get going. We're wasting time playing the blame game."

Sango sighed and looked down at the uneaten food. Grabbin her weapon, she stood up and stretched her body, getting any kinks out of her joints. "Fine.." Shippo jumped onto her shoulder and Kagome through her bag over her back. "Here, Sango." She handed the slightly older girl a shiny red apple. "It'll help for now." She smiled kindly and the demon slayer took it out of her hand politely, saying a thank you before takin a bite out of it. Together, they walked out of the hut.

And so the group was once again on the road, Inuyasha well ahead of the group as a kind of look out almost. He was watching from side ot side, to sense if anything was going to happen or something was coming towards them. And knowing them, something was always coming towards them. "That reminds me." The half demon suddenly asked. "Miroku, Sango, have you heard anything about any Jewel Shards around here, or anything like that?"

Sango thought for a moment. "I've hear rumors of a rabbit demon getting a hold of a shard. Seemed to be using it to steal things from villages. What, I'm not sure. And how a timid rabbit demon got ahold of a jewel fragment is beyond me." The slayer shrugged nonchalantly, continuing beside Miroku as she walked with Shippo on her shoulder. "I wonder what it's stealing." Kagome added, mainly thinking to herself.

"A...rabbit." Inuyasha stated, as if he hadn't heard right. "One of the Shards of the Shikon Jewel has been taken by a rabbit." he said. Well he'd seen odder, that crow that started this whole thing was an entirely different story. He sighed in annoyance. "Fine, a shard's a shard, despite how stupid whatever's using it may be. Go in, kill it, grab the shard. Nothing too bad."

"Inuyasha," Miroku sighed, "Because you said that aloud, I'm entirely certain that now something WILL go wrong with this. I believe it's called fate, or something of the like."

It was almost on cue that both Shippo and Inuyasha sensed something heading towards them. "it smells like..." Shippo began. To emphasis this, a massive tornado suddenly erupted from off in the distance, heading toward them.

Inuyasha snarled. "Koga..."

Kagome and Sango secretly agreed with Miroku on this. Normally their little group didn't have the best luck. Just when they thought that some peace would come to them, either a demon attacks, Naraku conjures up a new plan or Kikyo tries to take Inuyasha back to hell with her. Oh, she sensed two jewel shards moving close to them at a very high speed...

Sighing softly, she stopped alongside Sango knowing exactly that the Wolf Prince Koga would reach them in no time at all. Then Inuyasha would have it out and argue, throw some foul words into the air while Koga laughed it off and asked if she was ready to come back with him to his 'den'.

Inuyasha barely had another moment to react before the tornado crashed right past him, throwing him to the ground with a surprised grunt. The tornado stopped just in front of other three, but specifically in front of Kagome. There, Koga was standing, holding her hands in his and looking down at her with that ever 'charming' smile on his face.

"Ahh, Kagome," The wolf demon spoke, "It's been far too long since I've seen you my love."

Kagome closed her eyes a bit when the wind hit her, glad she wasn't wearing her skirt at this particular moment. Sango and Shippo who was stNding next to her scooted away a bit just incase Inuyasha and Koga got too violent. Kagome gave Koga a small smile and a nervous chuckle she always gave him. "Uhm, haha, hi Koga." She looked around, Hakkaku and Ginta probably weren't too far behind him. "How have you been?"

Sango moved next to Miroku with Kirara close behind. "Uh oh," Shippo whispered in her ear. "Inuyasha's going to be so mad." Sango nodded in response and waited.

"Perhaps it would be in our best defense to move a safe distance away, for this will likely turn out bloody." he said as he as well scootched away a little bit.

"I've been fine, as usual." he said, content that his woman was so worried about his wellbeing. His smile disappeared when he looked over his shoulder. "Has the mutt been treating you well? Making sure you don't get hurt?"

"Why you...' Inuyasha snarled as he picked himself up. He didn't seem as mad as he should have been though. Perhaps it was the knowledge he got her and he didn't that kinda helped his ego. When Koga found out, however...well, the bragging would begin.

Sango scooted right beside Miroku and away from the two demon's that fought over Kagome. Which the girl didn't like the two fighting over her since it was a stupid thing to fight about. Honestly, it made her feel a little uncomfortable. Her brown eyes looked up at Inuyasha and she smiled at her hanyou in his slightly angered and annoyed state.

"Yes, Koga. He's been protecting me very well, thank you." She looked into Koga's blue eyes and blinked. "Where are Gintu and Hakkaku? Did you leave them behind today?" Tryin to change the subject was probably a smart thing right now. But it need efficiently worked well considering Koga was here mainly because of her.

"Keh, I just told them I was going out to grab something to eat, didn't need to bring them around or anything." he said, waving the idea away. "They're fine on their own, I just wanted to see how you've been faring.' he said with another smile. "I'm surprise the mutt hasn't-" It was then something did strike his senses. It was dull, but definitely noticeable. "You...smell a lot like..." One hand reached up and brushed her hair away from her neck, his eyes landing on her still visible mark.

Several different reactions went through the group. Inuyasha smirked and crossed his arms triumphantly. Miroku grabbed his staff, Shippo hid behind the two, and Koga spun around on Inuyasha, his eyes narrowed deeply at the half demon.

"YOU."

Sango tightened her hand around her weapon, but she and Miroku were wise enough to stay out of it until things got majorly out of hand. Kagome felt her hair tickle the skin of her neck when he brushed her hair to the side to see the mark she adorned on her neck from Inuyasha. Her eyes shot up when Koga directly turned on Inuyasha. Her eyes widened a degree and her eye brows some what furrowed, a worried look on her face.

She knew Inuyasha could handle himself but she didn't want anything terrible to happen. "Koga," she spoke softly. "It's okay, really."

"You worthless half breed!" Koga shouted as he bared his claws, getting in a stance to attack him. He'd never felt this angry before. "How dare you force yourself upon her!"

Inuyasha's smirk was lost and a look of confusion was replaced. "Forced? Do you think i RAPED her?! You fucking idiot, I would never do anything to Kagome like-"

He didn't get another chance to say another word before Koga pretty much threw himself at INuyasha. "Kagome!" Miroku suddenly shouted. "Get away, it's only going to get worse, you'll get hurt!"
