Angel's and Demons

Aurora knew he had realized the the things she was saying maybe even more, she was glad he did because she knew in her heart these things already. "See there is so much more than how to change a diaper that will make you a good father" She smiled. she bite her lip a moment "Nanoki, you think the place we are going we will really have a chance to make a home for us and the baby there?"
 
"Well knowing how to change diapers is a big part of being a parent, and I'll have to know how to do that as well." he replied with a slight chuckle, but he knew Sheila and Tony would be able to help him with that. "One way or another where we're going will give us a chance for a semi normal life, and our child will be fine as long as the angels don't find out where we are. Even if they do I'll do everything in my power to make sure they can't get near either of you." he replied hugging her gently.
 
Aurora laughed "You will learn" her head rested against his shoulder as he hugged her. "after we go see Jamie I think i will go see my brothers see if i can get them to talk some sense into the others, while you finished getting ready to leave." She was glad that they would have a place to go were there would be a chance for a normal life, she just hoped her brothers would want to help.
 
With a smile he lightly kissed the top of her head, and he nodded because he knew that he would learn all that was necessary. Although when she said she was going to visit the other three it worried him slightly, because he knew little about them other than their names. Yet she knew them, and if she thought she could meet with them safely she would. Nanoki had many other things that had to be done, so they could leave Manchester.
 
Aurora drew a deep breath she couldn't believe how much her world has changed and still changing in just a short time. She never thought this would happen. She was happy through, aside from all the fighting between demon and angels. She hoped it would come to an end soon, and more angels and demons could find what she had already found.
 
Staring off into space he wondered how exactly this had all come about, but had no clue as to how things could have changed so dramatically. With a slight shudder he remembered that less than two months ago he was locked in battle with Michael, yet now Nanoki was getting ready to be a father and had Aurora at his side. He knew he wanted the war ended quickly for everyone's sake, but he also knew that there were some that never wanted the war to end.
 
Aurora could tell he was in thought so she thought of something to break the silence. "So when are going to see Jamie?" she bit her lip not sure if that would be enough to break the silence. "Do you think she will be happy about us having a baby?"
 
Lightly he chucked in response to her questions, but he was getting slightly nervous about telling the woman that had taken him in that they were going to have a child. He could almost see her reaction, and how bad it would be for him. "We'll leave shortly, and as for if she'll be happy I'm not sure. I think that there might be some answering to do on my part, but I think she may be happy." Nanoki replied gently.
 
Aurora was a little puzzled as to why he was laughing she was not sure what was so funny. Her forehead wrinkled just a little. "What do you mean you might have to do some answering, did you do something wrong?" She bit her lip she wondered if maybe it was the fact he fell in love with an angel maybe that would be wrong most demon's eyes.
 
Trying hard to stop laughing her question made him laugh a bit more, but then he stopped as he tried to find a way to answer her. "Well... I guess in a way. We both were raised in a different time, but things today are more accepted than they were. For example our love making would have been frowned upon since we are not married, and some people still look at things in that way. Jamie looks at things the way they were when she was growing up, so I may be in trouble for what we have done." he replied wondering if that made any sense to her, or if he would have to try and find another way to explain it.
 
She looked at him wide eyed a moment as she realized she was little bit out of touch on how things were done. "People still get married? i figured that went out of fashion." She bit her lip a moment and giggled. "I guess i really was kept in a bubble up there." She giggled a little bit more hugging him.
 
Her question had him worried, and it had him wondering what she would think when he asked. "Yes people still get married, but unfortunately it's not like it was before. There are more divorces now than there have been, and I think it's due to the fact that people can't work things out any more." he replied with a shrug, and tenderly kissed her. He knew she was not to blame for being out of touch with the world, but it proved that there were many things they would have to go through once the time came.
 
Aurora kissed him back gently. "I think its a good thing people still get married, I think it is wonderful that two people would want to spend their lives together. I am sad however that the feeling doesn't last for some people" she wondered what would want to make people want to do that. "Nanoki, do you think you would ever want to be married?"
 
He smiled knowing that she still believed in marriage, because he would feel completely ridiculous if he was the only one to still believe such things. Her question had caught him completely off guard, and it made him wonder if she could read his mind and had not said anything about it. "Well I think that I probably will, but I find I'm rather picky about people." Nanoki replied, and he remembered that he had a package sitting in his closet that finally needed to be opened.
 
Aurora was glad he did want to be married, however she wonder what he meant that he was picky about people. she wondered if that meant her. she hoped he didn't mean her, because he was going to be the father to her child and most of all she loved him so very deeply. She tried not to let any of this worry show on her face but some did how could it not?
 
With a soft smile he kissed her forehead lightly, and he looked at the time quickly then said "Why don't you get ready to go to Jamie's? I'll make the bed and clean up a bit, but I'll get changed and we'll leave in a few minutes." Nanoki had to get into the box that had remained sealed, because he knew it would clear things up all the way around. He also had to pick up the clothes, and he had to make the bed so he could have an excuse.
 
Aurora eyes closed as he kissed her forehead. she tried to take it as a sign that he love her want to be with her, or else why else did he put up with her. She nodded her a little as he suggested that she get ready to go to Jamie's. "alright, i'll only need a few moments." with that she took her tea cup and left the bedroom. She went to the kitchen first to put her cup in the sink then to the bathroom to wash her face and do her hair.
 
The moment she left the room he moved silently across to the closet, and opened it with a soft sigh since he really did not want to keep secrets from her. This secret would change things possibly for the better, and would most likely keep Jamie from trying to kill him yet he wondered why only now did he remember the package that had been sent to him all those years ago. With a shrug he pulled the small box out and opened it, and he placed the contents into his pocket after changing pants. Placing the box back into the closet, Nanoki closed the door and cleaned up then made the bed. Pulling on a shirt as he moved through the house he quickly brushed his hair out, and expertly tied it back to keep it out of his face.
 
As he moved the house Aurora emerged from the bathroom her long raven hair tied in a loose braid. Her face was cleaned and fresh looking almost as if she a put make-up on had she known what that was. She smiled as she saw Nanoki, "You already to leave"
 
Turning to her he smiled lovingly, and her appearance nearly took his breath away. He knew she was extremely beautiful before, but now she looked amazing and he wondered briefly how it was that he was so damn lucky to have her. "When ever you are gorgeous." Nanoki replied with a teasing chuckle. Yet he loved her more than anything in the world, and he would do what ever was necessary to protect her and their child. Moving toward the door he grabbed his keys, and dropped them into the other pocket.
 
Aurora blushed a little and looked down away from him when he called her gorgeous. She moved towards the door with a soft smile on lips. Once they were both out the door her hand reached for his as they walked to Jamie's house. She could feel the warm morning sun beating down her and she felt happy.
 
Opening the door he smiled gently as she physically reacted to his observation of her being gorgeous, but it was the truth from his point of view. Once she was out he exited, and once the door was closed he locked it. Feeling her hand Nanoki held it in his happily, and hoped he could do so for as long as they lived. It may still have been winter, but the sun was trying it's hardest to warm things up which elicited a chuckle from him.
 
Aurora walked hand and hand with him. the chill did not seem to bother her, perhaps it was because her happiness warmed her from the inside out. She looked up at him wrinkling her forehead. "whats the matter" as he chuckled. a soft smile played on her lips as she questioned him.
 
He smiled more as she questioned him, but he did not know how to put it into words. "Just the fact that the winter sun reminds me of myself. It's fighting a losing battle to try and warm everything, and I was fighting a losing battle against Michael. It's only a matter or time until the snow mealts so the sun will win, just like it took time bit Michael is no longer a problem." Nanoki replied lightly, but he knew it was more than that.
 
Aurora smiled "yes i guess your right" She leaned against him as they approached Jamie's house, she hoped she didn't scold him to badly. Although she would loved to be married to Nanoki, as long as he wanted to be with her and their child she didn't care.
