Soon enough they were headed back to the mansion.

At some point during the trip back to the mansion, the carriage ended up jerking to a halt when a wheel got stuck in a hole. This had Ianite about falling onto the floor.
 
Ianite was a bit startled and asking what was happening - her fever having definitely gotten worse while she was sleeping. A guard that had accompanied them was apologizing and stating that they had gotten caught in a hole.
 
"We are working on it sir. But there is another problem... A storm is brewing." the guard was speaking.
 
This had the guard nodding although there was a curse from outside and it was discovered that the axel itself had broken as well. Seemed they were a bit stranded or they would have to unhitch the horses and go on horseback. Perhaps not the best option with Ianite in the condition she was it but perhaps the only option.
 
Ianite was just looking at him for a brief moment in time although she was a bit frightened by the growl.
 
"sorry I didnt mean to scare you but we need to get out of the carriage and ride the rest of the way to the manor" Adrian would ride with her to keep her from falling and getting hurt
 
Ianite was taking his offered hand but was shivering a bit when the cold breeze hit her. Oh but it felt amazing.
 
"you'll ride with me so that you dont fall of the horse and break your neck ok" Adrian looked as a horse was brought over to them
 
once the horse was near then Adrian helped her up and then mounted behind her so that they could get going "leave the Carraige we can deal with it tomorrow"
 
Ianite was just looking at the horse as it was lead over and seemed a bit afraid. Nope she had never been horseback riding before - not uncommon for noblewoman at all. Yet soon enough she was being helped up onto the horse and he was swinging up behind her.
 
"don't worry all will be well but it is going to storm soon and we want to get home before then" Adrian then urged the horse in to a run so that they could get back in time
 
Adrian rode the horse hard but when they finally arrived he got down and then helped her down. Adrian was giving orders for the horses to be tended to and given plenty of food and rest for the hard work they had done
 
They got back just in time, as the rain just started to come down around them as soon as they got inside.
 
Ianite was walking with him but it wasn't as though she made it to the room at all. Nope something slightly more terrifying seemed to happen and that was her seeming to have a minor seizure from her temperature spiking.
 
Adrian cursed and then called for someone to bring the doctor there right away. he then picked her up and carried her to her room and settled her on the bed
