It wasn't long before they were arriving and there were a number of people there already. The queen was greeting them and Darian was speaking, "I bring apologizes from Duke Adrian, he will not be able to attend as his fiancee ended up having a seizure last night and is now in bed with a fever."
 
Cat bowed as well and listened to the woman accept the apologies and was startled when she ordered to royal doctor to go and check on the female
 
Darian was also a bit startled by that but he wasn't saying anything., Nope he wouldn't be able to warn Adrian in time.
 
It wasn't long before a staff member was coming to Adrian and speaking, "Sir. The royal doctor is here. Sent by the queen."
 
Adrian looked at them and nodded his head "send them in" he knew what was going on and while he would have liked to have had some warning he didn't care at that point
 
The doctor would find that it had been caused due to the fever and was determining that she was sick with pnuemonia, on top of the malnourishment.
 
Adrian looked at her and touched her head lightly 'is it treatable" Adrian knew they were working on the malnourishment but he didn't know she had been so sick or he wouldn't have taken her to the ball
 
The royal doctor was looking over before he spoke, "I'll prescribe some medication to help with the pnuemonia. Not strange that she would be sick with being malnourished, her immune system is weaker. Plenty of water, plenty of rest. Soft foods. She probably won't want to eat much and that is fine. I can show your cooks how to make a smoothie that she can drink. It would contain all of the nutrients that she would need. If she doesn't want to have food, have her drink one of these at least three times a day."
 
Adrian nodded his head and then thanked the doctor for coming to look at her. Adrian then stood up and showed his where the kitchen was so that he could talk to the cooks
 
The doctor was heading off with him and was reaching them how to make the smoothie and stating that it is to be made three times a day for the young lady of the house. "You can continue to make her normal food as well - if she doesn't eat that is fine as long as she drinks this. And there is a higher chance this will be drank. Easier on the stomach."
 
Adrian watched the male leave and then turned and headed back in to speak with his doctor about everything. while he trusted the male to do as he needed to and to take care of Ianite he still worried that the male was wrong
 
The doctor was just looking over before he spoke, "I disagree with the pnuemonia. She doesn't have any other symptoms - but I will go with it. It is something that can last a bit - and will help you guys hold off a bit longer on the wedding if you so decide. The shakes will help her as well - gentle on the stomach and she won't throw them up."
 
"I don't think that it is necessarily a sickness. I think it is more stress induced. She went from basically being a commoner to now she is becoming a duchess. There is so much more for her to learn - dressing properly, how to bow to different ranks, how to walk, how to talk, so much stuff is being tossed at her all at once on top of already being not in a healthy state. It is just too much for her to handle and this is her bodies way of saying it." the doctor was commenting after a moment in time.
 
The doctor was looking before he spoke, "I did overhear some whispers earlier... and it seems that this is what she is hearing. The whispers form all around. She isn't fit to be a duchess. She needs to learn stuff faster."
