It wasn't long before the man that had been talking to them was leaving the conversation and Darian was mumbling that he hadn't even really known what he was talking about.
 
“So I am not the only one who was confused” Cat looked over when she spotted the king watching them “we are being watched”
 
Darian was just chuckling a bit before he spoke, "Nope. I am just more practiced with making it seem like I know what is being talked about. And that doesn't shock me at all. Give it a few moments and he will probably come over to us and inquire when we plan on holding our wedding. Even though I sent a letter stating that we had decided on springtime." About four months down the line but still.
 
Darian was just commenting, "Just ignore him for right now. Let us head out onto the dance floor so that we can dance to the next song. That'll safe us from being pinned by him for a bit."
 
Darian was heading out onto the dance floor and they were soon sweeping into a dance as the next song started to play.

Ianite found herself using Adrian as a pillow, although it was just his shoulder at that point int ime.
 
Darian was just smiling as he danced with her before he was speaking in a low voice, "By the way I never did tell you that you have been doing wonderful at acting the part."
 
Darian was just chuckling before he spoke, "There are some who wouldn't even try to pretend if they were in this situation and get caught right away. As far as the king knows - we have been in love for a while."
 
“And that is what he is going to keep on thinking” Cat knew that she wasn’t happy with the situation but at the same time she knew she needed to act happy
 
Darian was just looking towards her for a moment before he spoke, "Hey you could be a mistress right now and not have freedom. They don't have freedom to act as they please, freedom to spend money as they please. I don't care what you do within the mansion, or how much you spend - as long as you don't do anything that could ruin my family."
 
“I know I would rather be stuck with you then with him” Cat knew when not to fight something and this was one of those times
 
Darian was just nodding his head before he spoke, "I give you freedom and allow you free reign as long as you follow simple requests."
 
“I know” Cat moved with him in the dance and wished they could leave but as she was well they didn’t have an excuse to leave
 
Darian was continued to dance with her before he was seeing her look of wanting to leave although it would be harder without an excuse.
 
Darian was just smiling lightly before he spoke, "I think I am ready to go home now my love. The head pain from earlier after getting hit while sparring is starting to come back."
 
Darian was just laughing a bit before he was commenting, "I was sparring earlier and got so caught off guard by how beautiful my fiance looked, and took a pretty hard hit to the head." This had a few other men commenting that they had had that happen before, and was telling him to get better soon.
