The Prep and the Outcast

Courtney laughed gently and nodded while smiling widely up at him. "Yes, I'm going to be making it." she said to him. "Don't you worry. You can sit down and relax while I get the stew put together and while it boils and thickens a little, I can take one of the tests." She ran her fingers over his back with a soft sigh. They were nearing her house finally and she relaxed even more.

Zero nodded to her and blinked a bit at all the looks they were getting and flushed for a moment. "It sounds like everyone is surprised we're together, rumors at school are flying around too. I wonder what they'er all saying still." he said and opened the door for her when they got back to her house. ."You expecting your mom and dad home anytime soon?" he asked, to be sure they'd be left alone for a while at least.

Courtney giggled softly and nodded slightly. "I know. I keep getting questions about you from the girls in school." she said gently. As they entered her house, she sighed softly and brushed her hair back from her face. "No, moms working late yet again and dad's away on a trip for work." she said to him.

"Oh? what kind of questions." He asked her and looked around for a moment before nodding. "It's gotta be rough, always having to be home by yourself while they're busy and out." he said to her as he took a seat in a chair in the living room and rested some, brushing his hand through his hair.

"Ugh, all sorts of questions. Like if you have a brother, how good you are in bed, things like that." she said. She nodded with a sigh as she moved to stand behind the seat he sat in. "Yeah, it is hard. I get so lonely when I'm here alone all the time." She sighed softly before shaking her head slightly. "I'll be back in a little while. I'm going to go start the food." She leaned over the back of the chair and kissed him on the cheek before pulling away and heading into the kitchen.

Zero looked up at her, by tilting his head back and resting it against the back of the chair and blushed at the fact her boobs were right in his face. "Oh I see. well you know the answers to that." he said and watched her go. "alright I'll just stay here, if you don't mind that is." he told her as he watched her go.

She giggles again as she heads down the hall. Upon entering the kitchen, she pulls out left over beef from the night before as well as some fresh vegetables. She quickly cuts up the beef into cubes and places it into a pot with some water, an onion and beef stock. As she left that to boil, she cut up some potatos, carrots, and peas. As soon as everything was ready, she put everything into the pot and covered it, setting the heat down onto medium. Sighing, she washed her hands and headed back into the living room where Zero was. "Well, the foods on and all we have to do is wait." she said to him while sitting down.

He watched and smelled the delicious smelling food and looked over at her when she came back into the room and smiled. He felt himself warming around her, he did love her and when she came back, he reached out andpulled her onto his lap. "Why not just sit here for a little bit?" Zero asked and kissed the back of her neck and rubbed her stomach a bit.

She chuckled softly as he pulled her into his lap and she turned to face him most of the way with her legs draped over the arm of the chair. "That sounds like a great idea." she murmured in his ear and she smiled at him. She shivered when she felt his lips against her neck and she looked down at her stomach as he rubbed it a little. "Zero... if I am pregnant, which one do you think it will be? A boy or a girl?" she asked softly.

He held her there for a moment and looked into her eyes, and squirmed, growing hard again with her in that position. "Well personally I hope it's a boy." he said and nuzzled her gently. "But if it's a girl I hope she's a pretty as you are." he complimented her. "HOw long does it take to get the test done?"

"Well.. I'm pretty sure it only takes a couple of minutes." she said softly while gazing over at her purse where the tests tucked away. "I should go upstairs and take the test while we wait for the food to finish." She looked up into his eyes with a soft sigh and a small smile. Leaning towards him, she softly kissed him while a hand rested on his chest. Courtney could feel him starting to get hard and it made her blush brightly.

He kissed her back and smiled at her and held her close for a moment and nodded. "I'll let you go do that then babe." Zero said and released her hips to let her get up and get her test done. He really wanted to know if he was going to be a father and if he was, he could get things set up early so he could provide for them both. the last thing in the world the could handle was if she got kicked out and had nowhere to go afterall, "Let's hope that you are having one. I would like to be a dad."

She nodded and grasped his hand for a moment before standing up and stretching. "Okay. I... I'll be right back then." she said softly before walking over to where her purse sat and grabbed it. Smiling back at him once more, she sighed and headed up to her bedroom and bathroom. Entering her bathroom she took one of the tests out of her purse and quickly read the directions before taking the test and she sat the test down on the kitchen counter. Courtney looked up at the clock on the wall and sighed. She had to wait five minutes before she could see the results so she put the toilet lid down and sat to wait. Several minuts later she grabbed the stick and looked at it, staring blankly for several minutes before groaning and heading downstairs. Pausing in the door way, she looked at Zero while biting her bottom lip.

Zero waited a bit and actually dozed off for a few moments in the chair she'd left him waiting in, that's how tired he really was. But he'd wake up when she came back down, her footfalls waking him up as they rang out on the hardwood floor. "Hey...what's wrong?" he asked, standing up and walking over to her, notocing her groan and expression.

Courtney looked up at him as he walked over to her before gently grasping his shirt in her hands and laying her head against his chest. "It was positive." she said, her voice muffled by his chest as she stood there.

He held her close in response to that and masked his expression at that and rubbed her shoulders. "It'll be ok." He told her. "Besides, it happens sometimes, even the best protections can fail us sometimes. Maybe it's fate?" He asked her and held her for a bit before smelling the stew starting to turn extremely fragrant. "Is that a sign it's almost ready?" he asked, wanting to distract her from breaking down.

Courtney listened to him speak and she nodded with a sigh. She was over whelmed with emotions of happiness, sadness and anger. "Maybe." she whispered before lifting her head and sniffing the air and she nodded again. "Yeah, it's almost done." she said softly..

"Why're you angry?" he asked her and blinked a bit as he looked at her. "I suppose I can understand the means of it, it's unexpected and nobody wants to have a child while they're still in the high school." he said to her and sighed some. "Well the thing is that I've prepared for whenthis happens." Zerotold her. "So in the end there's not too much to worry about for now."

((want to also do the canon x oc rp? in a thread?))

She wiped her eyes with a soft sigh and smiled gently while looking up at him. "I don't know why I'm angry. I guess it's because everything's going to change and because I'm scared." she said. "I usually get angry when I'm scared, remember?" Courtney slowly pulled back a little and grasped his hand before kissing him. "Don't worry Zero. I'll be fine in a little while."

He nodded to her and just tightened his grip around her gently and picked her up and carried her back toward the kitchen, cradlign her in his arms. "Don't worry too much about it, i'll make sure that things go alright." he tried to reassure her. "Or I'll do my best."

Courtney gasped as he lifted her into his arms and she smiled gently as he spoke to her and she sighed, laying her head down on his chest. "If you say not to worry about it, I won't worry. Or I'll try not to worry." she said softly with another giggle. "I won't be able to promise anything." She kissed him on the cheek and nuzzled her face into the curve of his neck.

After that night, the next few months passed rather quickly. Courtney had been able to hide her pregnancy from her parents the best she could as well as from those at school, but recently she had begun to show even more and it was getting harder to hide it. At the moment she was standing at her locker before school started. Courtney had ordered larger school uniforms which were supposed to arrive at her home the next day and until then she was stuck with her old uniforms which had gotten rather snug over her slowly growing belly. She leaned against the open door of her locker and closed her eyes with a soft yawn before looking at her books.
