He nodded softly as he laid his head on the table,"I don't know... but I haven't done it in a few weeks... I'm starting to grow weak..." he said as he gave a soft yawn. Yuri still looked confused, looking to Velken for answers.
 
Carlyle sat up and she moved over to him and took his hand. 'Come on. I'll take you." She said softly, looking to Velken to explain to Yuri. She took Ryu out of the kitchen and then down a level to where they keep the blood supply. Taking him there, she handed him a pack of blood and looked at him. "Drink."

Velken looked to Yuri and he opened his mouth and pointed to his fangs, hoping she'd get it without him having to explain it. Hopefully she didn't freak out since no one would harm her.
 
He took the pouch and bit into it gently, drinking the blood slowly, making sure not to waste a drop as he moved, wrapping his arm around her and sat her down on his lap.

Yuri tilted his head a bit, not really understanding,"You're hungry?" She asked as she grabbed some food from his plate, putting it in his mouth with a soft smile. She really didn't know what a vampire was, having thought that Ryu was normal just like she was.
 
As she sat down on his lap, she moved her hair from one side and tilted her neck, moving the pouch from his lips. "Will this satisfy you?" She asked softly.

Velken frowned and he gulped when she stuffed food into his mouth, nearly choking. He shook his head and once the food was gone from his mouth, he looked at her. "We're vampires. We walk the night, sleep the day, prey and feed on blood."
 
He smiled softly as he moved, kissing gently at her neck,"You really do love it when I feed from you... don't you...?" he asked before he slowly bit into her, drinking her sweet blood gently as his hands ghosted softly over her sides.

Yuri tilted her head a bit,"V-vam... pire?" she asked, showing she had no clue what that was,"What are those? And blood...? Daddy doesn't feed on blood... he eats normal food..." she said as she ate some potatoes.
 
Carlyle smiled softly and she nodded, closing her eyes as he sunk his fangs into her neck. She gripped his shoulder tightly, letting out a gentle moan.

Velken pursed his lips. "We are the undead and we cannot die." He explained. "He can eat normal food but he doesn't need it to survive. He needs blood to survive otherwise he can actually die from that. There are rare ways for our kind to be killed. But we tend not to harm humans unless we undergo this crazy frenzy and need for blood and lose ourselves. We drink mostly animal blood."
 
He smiled as he continued to feed from her, his hand moving and slowly ghosting up her inner thigh, drinking slowly, almost sensually as one hand moved to caress her breast.

Yuri was still a bit confused,"That's all just make believe stuff..." She said as she ate,"I mean... I don't believe daddy would hurt anyone... or drink... bleh... blood..." she was obviously not believing it, even though he was telling her the truth.

Velken looked at her and he was freaking out since he wasn't sure how to calm her. "Yuri--" he began and then he looked at his mom. "I told her, like you said to but she isn't taking it well. SHe doesn't believe me when I'm saying we won't hurt her. I told her we feed off of animal blood only."
 
He chuckled a bit, letting his energy return to him before he slowly made his way upstairs. Taking his time so as to make sure he got all the blood off of him. He knew Yuri didn't know about vampires, so he wanted to try and keep it from her as long as possible.

Yuri continued to back up, panting softly as she looked back for an instant, trying to find a door. He saw Carlyle and her heart began to beat harder. The look on her face showed her fear, and she didn't know what to do,"B-but... b-but... d-daddy... d-daddy..." he was whispering, over and over again before her eyes rolled a bit and she fainted.
 
Carlyle's eyes widened and she rushed to the little girl and caught her before she fell to the ground. Now on her knees, she held the motionless body to her and rubbed her cheek. "Ryu! Ryu hurry!" She called, picking up the little girl.

Velken watched and then he ran away after his mom got there. It was his fault. He ran to his room and he locked himself in there, feeling incredibly guilty that he scared her.
 
Ryu heard and he rushed quickly, seeing that Yuri had fainted he couldn't help but feel a bit scared,"What happened?" he asked as he moved, gently lifting her and carrying her to the bedroom, laying her on the bed as he moved to grab a towel, wetting it gently and moving over to her, letting it gently pat at her skin.
 
Carlyle bit her lower lip and she swallowed hard. "I uh--She was wondering what you meant by needing to feed since you were already eating food so while I went with you, i told Velken to tell her and then she started freaking out..." She was afraid he'd be angry since she was sure he hadn't told Yuri yet for a reason.
 
"What...?" He said as he looked at her, wondering if it was true. He saw that it was and he sighed,"Dang... I was hoping to tell her myself.... it would lessen the blow..." he said as he moved, giving Yuri a gentle kiss on the forehead. He knew she would start asking questions, and then she'd start to wonder what happened to her mother. He looked to Carlyle,"She'll be fine... for now... once she wakes up, it'd be better if only I was here... cause she's still adjusting to you two..." he said softly,"Go check on Velken..." he said softly.
 
Carlyle nodded and she walked out and went to Velken's room. "Velken, darling?" She knocked. He opened the hastily and his cheeks were tear stained. "I didn't mean to...I didn't think she'd freak out that much..." He sniffled, wiping his eyes. She knelt down before him and rubbed his little tummy and kissed his forehead. "No no sweetheart, it's not your fault. It's mine. I thought she knew which was why I told you to tell her. The fault is mine, alright?" She said genuinely, kissing his cheeks, wiping them dry.
 
Ryu tended silently to Yuri, knowing it would be a good while until she woke. He moved, kissing her forehead gently,"I'm sorry..." he whispered to her,"For everything..." He closed his eyes softly as he stood, moving away a bit and opening the door, looking towards Velkens room, moving over and looking inside, seeing Carlyle and him huddled together, he didn't want to interrupt anything.
 
Velken saw his father and he gulped, looking at his mother. She stood up and saw Ryu and moved to him, guiding Velken to him. "I-I'm sorry..." He looked down afraid. he didn't know his father well and he hoped he didn't just anger him right then by telling Yuri.
 
He couldn't help but give a soft smile,"It's okay..." he said softly, moving and kneeling down, putting his hand on the top of Velken's head,"You didn't know... I should've warned you first..." he said as he moved, giving him a soft kiss on the forehead. He noticed just how much like him the body was, it was like looking at a younger version of himself.
