SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

He got her assignments and her address before heading off to her house. He thought about what he would say to her, should he apologize? Probably.

Apologize to a ghoul? That sounded silly, but maybe stranger things had happened, maybe if things were just explained to him, he would understand.
He wouldn’t get the chance to try though, for when he arrived at the address, all he found was an internet cafe. It wasn’t a home or apartment at all, had she been living there?

"What the...?" He looked it over the address to make sure he didn't misread before he became incredibly embarrassed. Where the hell was she then?

Either she had put a bogus address down, or this was actually where she was living, but the only way to find out was to do some investigating.

Where would he even start? He didn't know if she had a job or not. He ran his fingers through his hair as he thought, walking down the sidewalk.

Maybe he could scrounge up an email address, or a phone number- try some of her study spots? Maybe it was better this way, letting her disappear from the ward entirely- or maybe he could turn her in?

She would be safer at the CCG, at least there she wouldn't be at risk of being hunted again. He pulled out his phone and did some digging as he headed to one of her usual spots.

Motochika was scrolling through his phone contacts when her name caught his attention. Her name and phone number were right there, the whole time they were there- had she put her number in, or had he?

He didn't remember if he had or not, but he decided to give it a try. Worst case, she blocked his number or it was disconnected.
"Can we talk? Just talk?"

The message sent and went through, reading delivered showing that she hadn’t blocked him yet. Several minutes went by before he received a response.
“What’s there to talk about, you already know.”

“Won’t hurt me? You’re a Dove. There’s nothing to discuss when you’ll kill me.” Her message came back.

Oh, shit, that's right. The quinque he stole, no wonder she was so scared.
"You probably won't believe me, but I stole it from a dead Dove I found...I don't work for the CCG...never have, probably never will.."

“I don’t believe you, you’re right about that.” She texted. “What do you want from me?”

“You already have them. You know what I am, you saw what I did. Do you want me to feel bad?” Nana texted back.

“There isn’t anything to talk about.” Nana was terrified, sending her responses quickly. She had left the cyber cafe she had been staying at, moving her location to a different one across town in the meantime, wearing sunglasses and a hoodie to keep herself covered.

“Meet me at the back lot at college tonight. Don’t bring your quinque and come alone.”
