SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

"They've been a yakuza family since well before I was even born, if that tells you anything." He told her, "No one has been able to successfully take them down. Too many powerful connections. Masamune abuses that fact every day."

Megohime scowled more, finding Masamune’s tenacious hold he had irritating. “Is there no way to break him from those connections? Surely if we were to cut those ties for him, bringing him in would be easy.”

Megohime made a soft noise. “He isn’t untouchable.” She said. “We just have to find a way to get him.” She let out a sigh and shook her head.

Megohime followed Kojurou without hesitation, excited to be out on the street once more. She held her briefcase tightly at her side, keeping a sharp eye out for anything suspicious.

Nana once again was having to traverse the large warehouse that Motochika worked in with a few other men on random projects they were all working on independently. Once spotting him, she headed his way, careful to not get in anyone’s way. “Chosokabe-san!” She tried getting his attention, the large man engrossed in his work, and the warehouse rather noisy.

Motochika seemed to have heard her despite the noise, picking up his head and looking over. He gave a smile and set his tools down, moving over to her and guiding her to a safe distance, "More lousy homework?"

“And todays class work- you know you’re going to get expelled if you keep skipping class so much.” Nana scolded as she opened her school bag to start digging around for his papers.

Nana found his papers in her school folder and pulled them out to hand to Motochika. “Yeah, we’ll tell that to your scholarship- the professor wanted to know where you were.”

“I did my best to cover for you.” She said with a heavy sigh, brushing some loose strands of hair behind her ear. “This is why you need to be more careful when picking your school schedule.” Nana was kind, always trying to help Motochika despite him being labeled a delinquent. She brought him every assignment he missed, even taking notes for him. “Maybe talk to the professor about switching to night classes, I know a few people who had to because of conflicting work schedules too, so it shouldn’t be a huge issue.”

“Well, I’ll keep collecting your assignments in the meantime, just make sure they end up being turned in.” She said with a soft smile. “Otherwise I wouldn’t have a reason to come see you.”

Nana gave a soft laugh, nodding. “Good, then I’ll expect to see you at the next class.” She said, then headed off, having her own homework assignment to complete.

He made a noise before heading off to put the papers in his work locker. He was going to be so tired; he had to go out and hunt ghouls tonight, now he had to work in homework? He hated school so much.

There was only really one thing he liked about school, and it was Nana. She was always nice to him, even though he pretty much refused to go, always collecting the work he needed to get done to stay enrolled. He had no idea why she bothered, having such faith in him when he simply didn’t want to go.

He made a noise and went about his shift before clocking out and heading home. He humored Nana and did the homework without even having to look anything up. He had always been incredibly smart, he never really had any need for studying. He more went to college to challenge himself, but that didn't work so he never went.
He sighed softly, finishing the work before changing into his protective gear, grabbing a quinque he had stolen from a dead CCG investigator he had found and heading out.

Motochika would do this almost every night, going out with his gear and stolen quinque in search of ghouls. He alone protected the streets, avoiding CCG investigators and seeking out ghouls to kill.

So far, he had a little over a dozen kills to his name, they were getting a little harder to find and chase down. The ukaku were the worst, he had only managed to get one.

The ghouls in the area were slowly becoming aware of Motochika’s presence, some even coming to try and fight and kill him. That night was disturbingly quiet though, and no ghouls even seemed to be out. It was about an hour before he spotted the first ghoul he had seen all night; the familiar red glow of a Kagune caught his attention.

It took for him getting within ten feet before Motochika saw the body the ghoul was feasting on, the ghoul cloaked in heavy black hood and baggy clothes. They hadn’t seemed to notice him as he approached, a black half mask obscuring their upper face as they consumed the mans right arm.
