SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

"Our siblings are entangled with one another. And I want my sister to understand that her actions and relationships are effecting her work ethic drastically." Mitsunari stated. Akihime's whole face turned dark red. Her and Amaya? Realization dawned on her suddenly; Sasuke had mentioned briefly that a contact had thrown Amaya 'to the wolves' to spare the whole of the colony, perhaps this is what he meant?
"Nii-sama, I'd appreciate it if you didn't mention such intimate things so openly, especially in front of a friend of mine." She said timidly, "Can we discuss this more privately at home?"

“I agree with Akihime- and there’s no need for such vile language.” Yukimura seemed a little out of sorts having to lie, but was doing a fine enough job.

Mitsunari scowled heavily, "I don't want you to see that...woman...anymore." He said firmly. Akihime pursed her lips tightly, brows furrowed.
"What's wrong with who I show interest in?" She asked. Mitsunari seemed to flare with soft anxiety.
"It's another woman." He hissed under his breath. Akihime scowled more.
"That didn't seem to matter when Shouta-san was coming around all the time." She hissed back, only to stumble when Mitsunari smacked her hard across the face, his eyes panicked and angry.

Yukimura stepped between Akihime and Mitsunari, having to swallow his anger as to not let his kakugan show. “That’s no way to treat your sister.” He said firmly, a soft scowl furrowing his brows.

“No, Akihime, it isn’t right- do you even hear yourself?” He couldn’t just let such a transgression go. “Discipline her, she isn’t a dog!” He argued.

"She is my junior, I do what I please to discipline her." Mitsunari stated. Akihime frowned softly.
"It's just how the CCG is, it's alright." She told him gently.

“It is still something I won’t allow, it’s unacceptable to hit a woman.” Yukimura shook his head, a soft scowl still set on his face.

"You would dare to interfere?" Mitsunari asked. Akihime bit her lip gently, trying to think of a way to defuse the situation without giving out Yukimura's name.
"Aibou, it's fine, really. Please, let's just go.."

Yukimura knew staying there any longer than necessary would be dangerous for his health, so clenching his fist, he bit his lip and turned his gaze away from Mitsunari’s. “Yeah, sorry..”

"We'll talk about this later, nii-sama. Have a good day, I'll see you at work." Akihime said, bowing gently to her brother before pulling Yukimura away.

Once they were out of ear shot of Mitsunari, Yukimura spoke up. “You can’t just let him do that to you, Akihime.”

Yukimura shook his head. “It’s still not right- you shouldn’t treat your younger like that, and especially not family.” His head was reeling from the whole interaction.

"Mitsu-nii is very...particular...I think he gets it from Tou-san." She said. She rubbed her knuckles absently, her brows knitting in a sort of pained scowl, before she came back to reality, "Everything needs to be done a certain way and you can't stop until you get it right. I shouldn't have really spoken to him like that, anyhow...how can I ask for respect if I don't give it?"

Yukimura didn’t have an answer for her, but even so, in his soul he knew the treatment she was enduring wasn’t right or fair. “I’m sorry about you having to endure his wrath over a lie- I don’t know what Sasuke’s contact said, but you shouldn’t have to take that on alone.”

She made a noise, "We'll see the type of trouble I'm in when I go home. Mitsu-nii, uh..." she paused and frowned, "he's rather ashamed of himself. His gut and his head tell him that being in love with the same sex is wrong, but his heart is very obviously fighting that logic all the time...he had a lover before, when I was in the academy, but they had a nasty falling out. I think it made him feel worse about his orientation..." she whispered.

Yukimura made a soft noise, brow furrowed- he didn’t much understand the entire situation about Mitsunari and his romantic interests, but he did understand being at odds with oneself. “Still, know that I won’t let him treat you in such a manner when I’m around.”

Megohime was tasked with running some files to Mitsunari- but since he was always so hard to track down, she had no choice but to take them to Akihime instead. It wasn’t unusual for her to run files for Kojurou, but usually it was only across the building, not several blocks away.

Megohime set out begrudgingly, figuring that if she hurried to finish delivering the files, she would have time for a short cigarette break before having to return to Kojurou.

When she reached Akihime's apartment and knocked on the door, she was standing there for a while. Nothing was happening and it didn't sound like Akihime was even home. Which was odd because Akihime wasn't at the office either, and as far as Megohime knew her associate didn't have friends.

Megohime was confused as to why Akihime wasn’t answering, as she had called to confirm their meeting before leaving the office. Pulling out her phone with an annoyed noise, she pressed redial on Akihime’s number. Why would Akihime leave if she knew Megohime was coming- and it wasn’t like she could just leave the files on the door step or something.
