SAINTS (1x1 w/DarkMukip)

She reached and gently wiped some of the blood from his face, though she only seemed to smear it more, "Feel better? Nice and full?" She asked tenderly. Matsunaga made a distasteful noise before moving to leave.
"Let's not dally, Otani-sousakan."

Yukimura felt comfort in his dark abyss, the smell of Akihime so close, he could swear she was within reach. Yukimura’s empty eyes softened a bit, becoming half-lidded as he leaned slightly into her touch.

She smiled sadly, petting his cheek still before taking his hand in her free one, "Let's go home. We can sleep in and be lazy. Doesn't that sound nice?" She said as she walked slowly with him.

Yukimura kept pace beside her, but again her words seemed to be falling of deaf ears. If anything he did seem to be getting tired, probably from him gorging and being wounded, even if his wounds did heal over quickly.

She got him back to the car and stopped the Dove from cuffing him again, "He won't hurt anyone. He's exhausted." She said. Everyone glanced to Matsunaga at that, and he waved his hand.
"Put your trust in her. She seems correct fir the most part."

Yukimura got more agitated at the others who surrounded him, glaring from investigator to investigator before he climbed into the vehicle. It was clear everyone was on edge in the situation, both the investigators and Yukimura.

Akihime moved in after him and took her place beside him, reaching to hold his hand and playing with his fingers gently, talking to him to keep him calm as the others climbed in after then carefully.

Everyone got loaded in before heading off back toward base. When they returned, Yukimura was prodded away from Akihime so he could be locked up securely in a cell, which he didn’t seem happy about. His kakugan grew agitated and he even bared his teeth at a few of the investigators who drew their tranquilizer guns to be safe.

"He's not an animal, stop doing that!" Akihime argued, moving to get between them, "I'll take him back, he'll be fine. Just stop hurting him."
"Father, the more we humor her, the more dangerous this feels." Kenzo remarked. Matsunaga made a noise.
"I understand. But, so far, things have been working well. If they go against us, we will simply kill them." Matsunaga told him. Kenzo nodded.
"Of course."

Those this answer silenced the remainder of the team, their glares still pierced through Akihime. For now they obeyed, moving aside to allow Akihime to take control of Yukimura.

Akihime took Yukimura's hand gently and guided him along, keeping close to him to keep him calm. Everyone watched her with heated anxiety before looking to Matsunaga.
"Don't worry, I'll deal with her. Go about your tasks." He commanded.

Everyone bowed to Matsunaga before leaving as ordered. Yukimura followed behind her, his hand lax in hers like he didn’t know how to hold her hand.

She took him back to his cell and shut herself in with him, "You must be tired from all that excitement." She said gently, petting his back slowly.

“… Yeah..” His voice rasped lowly, staring ahead blankly like he had been doing before, only this was the first time he had spoken at all since she had last seen him.

“I’m just tired.. from all the excitement..” It was like slowly all the cobwebs were being removed from his brain, but his thoughts were still painfully slow, staring ahead like he hadn’t fully become aware yet.

She moved around to get in his line of sight, reaching to hold his face gently, "Y-You...! You're talking...! You're cognitive...!" Tears poured down her face before she realized she was even crying, "I was so worried...!"

“You’re here..?” He asked, and his eyes found his way slowly to Akihime’s face. In his vision she almost didn’t seem to have a face, just a blurry figure, but it was a familiar one. “You’re… here..?” He sounded more confused.

“Sasuke..” He had to think hard, had to remember who that was- did he even know someone by that name? “Right.. Sasuke.. We need to tell him to not come home, it isn’t safe..” It was clear he was struggling with his memories, looking like he could hardly recall them at all.

She frowned heavily; the use of his kakuja must have still been lagging his brain. "Yeah...I'll call him right now...let's get you into bed.."
"My, how very interesting." Akihime moved right away, getting between Yukimura and the newly appeared Matsunaga, "Lucidity. And what did you do to cause such a thing?"
"Please...please, leave him alone...let him recover..." Akihime pleaded weakly.

Yukimura turned to see who had come in- just another faceless figure before him, one he struggled to recognize. “Recover..?” What did he need to recover from? It made his head hurt to try and think about such a thing, wincing in pain and holding his head as memories started to become more clear.

Akihime panicked and moved to try and calm him, only to have Matsunaga snatch her away.
"No!! Let me go!!"
"We can't have him become lucid, my dear, we'll have to fix it." He told her as he pulled her from the room.

Akihime’s screams of protest seemed to shake him, and despite not being fully lucid, he moved to attack Matsunaga. His kakugan was incomplete, angry veins spreading down his cheeks as he grabbed Matsunaga by the shirt so he could slam him into the wall, his breathing heavy and ragged.

"No! Yukimura, don't!" Akihime gasped, Matsunaga grunting a bit from the impact.
"Let me go, boy. Or she'll die like everyone else did." He warned.
